your pastor says, I love you. I'm praying for you, I believe in you. I think that God is doing something unique in your life and this is just the beginning. And it's time to shift. And at the end of this series, five weeks in, I'm telling you this message I think is gonna bless you. It's called, it's time to ride. And I believe that God is about to allow you to possess everything in the Promised Land as you obey what he wants you to be right here, which is strong and courageous. I'll see you later. We're about to end this series, it's time. Somebody say it's time. Yeah. And this one I've been saving since the beginning of the series. Oh yeah. I had to sequentially let you know it's time to shift. Somebody say it's time to shift. And then secondly, I had to tell you it's time to get in the house. And then I had to let you know. Anybody remember the third one? Oh, come on. Somebody say it's time to purify. And then last week, Pastor Charles, let us know it's time for miracles again. So powerful.
And today I'm going back to Joshua chapter one 'cause sometimes when God is ending things he takes you back to the beginning. And so if you got a Bible, pull out your Bible right now. I'm about to preach in this place. I'm literally trying, y'all see how I'm gripping this thing right here? This thing is shut up in my bones 'cause somebody's about to get their fight back. You've been getting punked too long by the enemy. Some of y'all been on the defense so long getting pushed back and it's another thing going to happen. What's going to happen next, God? I can't, but somebody's about to put your foot down. And you're about to pick up your backpack, y'all. Somebody say it's about to be time to ride. I don't know who I'm talking to today, but somebody's about to put some Vaseline on. Some of y'all who know what to fight know what I'm talking about. You're about to start putting some Vaseline on. Y'all know what I'm talking about. You're about to get your gloves and you're about to fight the enemy that's been coming after your family, coming after your mind, coming after your peace, coming after your joy, coming after your vision. Today is the day that God is saying that he's backing you. Oh my God, somebody shout at me, it's time. Just think of me as your corner man today.
You want a box to match and I'm coming to hype you up. Everybody, stand up real quick. All right, come on, we're going to read the scripture. Joshua chapter one. After the death of Moses, the Lord's servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua, son of none. Moses is assistant and he said, Moses, my servant is dead. Therefore, it's time, the old way is dead. Therefore, it's time. It's time for you to shift. And it's time for you, Joshua, to lead these people. The Israelites across the Jordan River into the land. Whoa, I am giving them. You know you got stuff that already got your name on it? No, y'all don't hear what I'm saying to you. This is a foreshadow of what God wants for all of his people. He's saying, I'm giving you things you don't currently have possession of. It already has, somebody say it has my name on it. Right now, some of y'all are door dashing your lunch. Right now, I know you. You're trying to beat the lines at Kaaba. And watch this, they're going to make your food. And they're going to put your. It's already sitting there with your name. All you have to do is go possess it. He said, I am giving them all of this land because I promised it to Moses.
And wherever you set your foot. Wherever you have the crazy faith to step. Wherever you have the courage to put a claim in that area. He said, I have already given you that land. Somebody say it's already mine. He said from the Nijib wilderness in the south to the Lebanon mountains in the north, from the Euphrates rivers in the east to the Mediterranean sea in the west. God said, north-south east west. If you step, you can have it. Some of y'all don't believe the Bible is right here. Look at verse five, most gangster scripture in this whole thing. Let's go. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you shall live. I'm gonna read it one more time so it hits your soul. If you have the courage to step. No one, somebody say nobody, nobody, nobody will have the ability to stand against you as long, not just for this one battle. Not just for this year, not just for this season. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you draw breath. Why, not 'cause you got a good plan it says for I will be with you. Just as I was with Moses and I was with your mama and I was with those who went before you.
I was with your bloodline. Yeah. He said, I will not fail you or abandon you. This is where I wanna start today. Verse six, be strong and courageous. Say those two words, strong and correct. One more time, I will be strong and courageous for you are the one. I'm not looking for nobody else. I'm not trying to get nobody else to answer this call. I'm not putting out an alarm, I called you. This ain't a mass text message. This is not a post on Instagram. I sent this to one person, oh my God. God said, I called you and you're the one who will lead these people to possess all the land. I swore to their ancestors I would give to them. This ain't even about you. I called you, but it ain't about you. I called you, but this ain't even about you. If you don't do it, they don't get what they need. Okay, he said, so be very strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them. This means that the old way may not have worked for them because you don't know fully what their obedience was like, but we're not supposed to throw away everything old. The reason I need to say this to you, 'cause sometimes we feel like we get a new assignment and so that means we get new instructions.
But this is saying new assignment, same instructions. Okay, so prayer is not something that old folks do. Okay. Worship is not something for women. There are certain things that were a part of what God called all of us to do and even though we get new assignment, we still gotta obey the old instructions. Okay, here we go. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or the left. Then if you do this, you'll be successful in, whoa. The Bible sometimes wages be reading me. Like I'll be reading it, but it be reading me. He said, if you do what I tell you, you'll be successful in things you didn't even pray about. - I got it, I got it, I got it, I got it. - See, see, you think your prayer, what you said is connected to what he does. - I got it, I got it. - Sometimes you're praying about this and 'cause you obey him in this, he does all that. We'll talk about it later. He said, you'll be successful in everything you do. Verse eight, study the book. - Yeah. - Study this book of instructions continually. - Meditate on this. I think it was prophet Kid Cudi that said day and night.
- Yeah, you see, y'all two say, y'all two say. ♪ I'm meditating on the word day and night ♪ - Okay, stop. ♪ He gives me through and I don't know what to do ♪ - No, let me stop. Somebody say day and night. Do you do that? - Oh, got real quiet. - I would dare you for one week. open the book. I'm not saying you can do it all day, but it'll be boot, boot, boot. I like that. Boot, boot. Day and night. Because if you meditate on a day and night, what he's trying to do, watch this, what God is trying to tell you is I need to occupy more of your brain space. You make bad decisions when other things occupy in your brain space. So it won't be the only thing there, but it needs to be a lot of what's there. Because this can transform your life. He said, "If you meditate on a day and night and do everything that is written in it and obey those things, only then you will prosper and succeed in all you do." Watch this. He wants to make this super clear. This is my command. What is the command? Not to just read the word. Watch. It comes after it. Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or discouraged because I'm with you. I'm the Lord, your God. And I will be with you. Watch this wherever you go. Look at your neighbor and tell them the title of this last sermon in this in its time series. Tell him it's time to ride. Oh, come on. Look at your another neighbor and say it's time to ride. And if you know that you're going to ride into everything that God has called for you, just give him one more shot of praise on your way to your seat. We sang it earlier that we've been talking about his time to do something. And eventually we've got to stop talking. Lotta lip service. Lotta, yeah, we going to obey God. Yeah, we about to do this. And at some point, look at your neighbor and say it's time to ride. The young lady that wrote that song, I just found out that she was a part of Greenwood Christian Center a long time ago, Bishop. I remember her. And she was at ORU. And I looked at the thing as I was getting ready to preach this week in. And the young lady said, lace up your boots. Put on your backpack. It's time to
ride. Now, I don't know exactly what was in her mind when she wrote this and where she was going. But there's something about the imagery of you putting on boots when you're about to go into combat. Warfare, a street fight. See, some of y'all have been saved and protected all your life. But anybody know that you might have to stomp somebody out, you put on boots. I just want to be clear, you do not wear Birkenstocks. I'm just letting everybody know you don't wear ougs. Those are not, you need some Timberlands. You hear what I'm saying? Okay, excuse me. If you don't fight, where are we going? What are we doing? What's happening? I could tell I'm in a room for a lot of people who never fought. So, you might be qualified for this next question I'm going to ask. Right now in the mind of your imagination, if you knew you had to fight somebody, for whatever reason, you didn't want to. Let's just say you didn't even want to, but you know it's going down. It's happening. But you could call somebody to help you. Usually you think about the person you want in your corner, but today I want you to do something just a little bit different. I want you to think about the person in your mind right now that if your help showed up and it was them, you would be like, "Oh my God, I'm about to get beat." Think about that right now. No, come on. I need you to think. Get them in your mind. You might be sitting next to them. You might be married to them. But all I'm saying to you is, "Who is the person that you'd be like, "Yeah, I got back up. Yeah, I got back up." And then they roll up being like, "No, no, no." If you don't know, it's you. If you're like, "I don't know." Because the truth of the matter is when you're going into a fight, you've got to be with somebody. They don't even got to be good. If they got the gas. Y'all know them people. It's like they're not really bad. What are we talking about? This whole section is like, "I'm getting beat up." I'm like, "No, I'm just playing, I'm just playing, I'm just playing, I'm just playing." The reason I'm bringing this up is because we find Joshua in a time where God has shifted him, called him, and God from heaven says it's time to ride. 40 years we've been sitting in park. For 40 years we've been in the wilderness. For 40 years we've been messing with these generational patterns.
For 40 years we've been standing in the same place. Moses is dead, it's time to ride. And I believe the same way that God is telling Joshua that I think there's some areas in your life where God's saying, "We have been in park too long." Somebody say, "It's time to ride." See this is what people don't get and it irks me that people think that the kingdom of God and being a Christian is a defensive belief system. That we're just trying to play defense with the devil. Hopefully he doesn't do anything this week that messes up my peace. Hopefully the devil doesn't get hit with the devil, he is a liar. I don't know anybody who actually does that, but that's how I feel. The devil busy, he's so busy. Just think about the language of that, like, the devil, he just said, "What are you doing?" Greater is he that lives on the inside of me than he that's, and I'm trying to get you to understand that it is the enemy who tries to make you feel like you play in defense instead of playing offense. I wake up every morning and say, "Devil, you lost again." I got breath in my body. I have peace. I have God on my side, okay? And the reason I'm saying this is because the kingdom of heaven is not a passive kingdom. God is trying to advance his kingdom and populate heaven every day. We wake up every day with the offer, how much territory are we going to take today? How many people are going to run into me today? How many people are going to get saved because of my love and kindness? How many people are going to get blessed because they just happen to be next to me at Quick Trip? And what we're doing is looking for the $20 instead of giving it. That went over. Some people's hands.
We're always looking to be blessed and to be the blessing. I'm playing often. I'm going out for him. I am his partner. I have been deputized to take up territory in every place that I stand. I expand his kingdom. I can tell some of y'all ain't taking a ride in a while because the truth of the matter is life has been beating you up to the point that you feel like, let me just survive this. I don't feel like riding. I honestly don't feel like getting in the car past their minds. Today I actually came to help you get your fight back because the promised land is on the other side of this obedience step. Somebody say it's time to ride. I'm going to give you scripture to let you know that we are not a passive people anymore. Matthew 11, verse 12, it says, "And from the days of John to back this, until now." Everybody say until now, "The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent, take it by force." No, no, no, there's no negotiation. The subtitle to the series is, "God is not negotiating with next." He's already told the enemy I'm about to send Michael. I'm about to send Sarah. I'm about to send Brenda. I'm about to send Will. I'm about to send--no, wait a minute, you stay right there, devil. I'm about to go get my kids to fight you. Y'all ever seen them parents--it's funny and kind of sad at the same time. You ever seen them parents on social media, they do this thing where they come into the house and they'd be like, they tell their daughter, "Hey, hey, such and such, daughter. She out there talking crazy to me, and I told them you would fight them. Be like, whoo, me, me, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
And she's like, I told them that you're gonna beat they tail and I told them and it's funny to watch these children literally say, I don't even wanna be your child anymore. (audience laughing) But when God tells the enemy that I'm 'bout to sin, I'm 'bout to sin Steven. And then God comes in and says, hey, I told the devil that you were gonna praise me anyhow even though you're going through that situation. (audience cheering) Most believers be like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not me. I don't really wanna play. And God's saying, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm the one that has empowered you, taught you and given you the victory in every battle. All I need you to do watch this is show up. And there are many people that will not show up for what God is calling us to. And that's why I need to tell you this. And this may make sense to you today or may make sense to you two weeks from now. But I want you to write this down. God's kingdom is advancing and its arrival is creating intense opposition and response. And because of that arrival of God's kingdom, it demands a radical response from us. - Very good, very good.
- Do you know the devil hates that this church is here? - Yeah. - Come on. Come on. - Do you know that the enemy speaks to people like go write a story about that church? Go talk about this for them. People and like, he hate, if we weren't doing nothing, not making no impact, not blessing people, not robbing people from hell. We are a threat to the devil. Because every time I wake up and every time this steam gets together and every time this church gathers and says hallelujah, anyhow, we are forcefully advancing the kingdom of God. I'm trying, I'm trying to act civilized. But what you have to understand is that is our God given assignment to literally take territory for God every day. And so as I sit here thinking, okay, God, you want us to be picking fights. Okay, when I read the scripture, I like try to break it down to like regular stuff. Like you want me to go pick a fight. Like after the worst day I've had, you want me to be like glory to God. There's nobody like Jehovah. 'Cause your praise, the Bible says, confuses the enemy, how in the world? After they lost that relationship
and they got that job situation that's not working out and they feel lonely right now, how in the world? Do they still have, my question is, when's the last time you picked a fight with the enemy with your praise? (crowd cheering) If it's time to ride, you like David. Who is this uncircumcised Philistine? A whole army is sitting there watching, playing defense with Goliath and a little Uber each day. It comes up and it's like, y'all hear this? Here, here, take this grilled cheese out. That's like somebody talking about your mama. Like me and my mama, we might be having some issues, but who? Yup, okay y'all up. I don't know why. Anybody got that type of energy if they start talking about, I can talk about my family, but. (crowd cheering) What are you? Shut up. Then why can people talk about your God like that? (crowd cheering) Why you let people communicate? And I'm not saying go back at them. You gotta go back at the originator of the lies. (crowd cheering) And I'm just trying to encourage somebody to get your fight back because it's time to ride.
God's saying we got a promised land to go get. Next year, if it ain't show year, it ain't because I didn't do it. Okay, you don't want to hear this word, but the truth of the matter is God's trying to advance us. He's trying to take us on a trip, on a little rock to ship and you've got to get in this mug and ride. So what am I supposed to do, Pastor Mike? Well, God gives Joshua two words that he says to him three times. Now, any time that God says something over and over and when you read the scripture, you're supposed to pay close attention to it. 'Cause he's trying to reiterate and push a point into your heart and into your soul. He tells Joshua three times in this one chapter, be strong and courageous. He said, I'm speaking over you what you may not be right now. But for you to see the promised land, you have to be these two things. Strong and correct. I thought he would say smart. He didn't say smart. He didn't say witty. He didn't say cunning. He didn't say pretty. He said, all I need you to do is be strong and courageous. So when I started to look up those two words, I started to realize that the church
has a strength and courage problem. 'Cause too many of us aren't in the promised land. We're not walking in dominion. We're not having peace. We're not walking in joy. The fruits of the spirit seem like something we're still trying to go pick up from the grocery store. When he literally says to us that when you get the spirit on the inside of you, you have love, joy, peace, patience, kind of self-control and we're still trying to find it. There must be something we're missing and the Holy Spirit said, my church does not understand why I said courage and strength and why both of them are so important together. Listen to this word. This is revelation. Courage can be given, but strength is built. I'm saying this because I'm about to break this down. If God is saying over and over, be strong and courageous, you got to understand the nature of how these things are given to people. Courage can be given. Somebody could give me courage right now to do something. They'd be like, jump, pass the mic, jump, jump, jump, jump into the crowd, jump into the crowd. And if they made a good enough case and I saw some kind of strong people in this area, that woman standing on the front row said, do not jump. We're going to drop you pastor.
That will be the end. Look at her, I'll see you. You ain't even going to help me. But I could get courage to do something. But the difference is the strength to actually carry something out over time, it's not built the same. Nobody can give you strength. You have to build strength. Okay. So the church many times gets a lot of courage in church. Courage at the altar. Courage from a song. But they don't have the other ingredient to actually possess. They have not developed any strength and that's why the enemy comes to pick you off and you be so discouraged because you got courage or encouraged, somebody put courage in, you stepped out, you got hit 'cause you didn't have no strength. You had no spiritual strength. You had no emotional strength. You had no physical strength. So the temptation, all he said, well, what's up, baby? Pregnant. You ain't got no strength to say no. Yeah, he's fine, pregnant, again. Six kids later, no strength. Do you understand what I'm saying?
'Cause you had the courage, I ain't gonna answer. Knock, knock, knock, hello's a quan. And you can apply that to any situation. Some of you have courage to pass by McDonald's but no strip, not the door dashing. I ain't going through the drive-through. I ain't going through the drive-through. Bing bong, they pulled up. Why are you saying this Pastor Mike? Because courage, listen to me, can be given. And you need courage, and you need people around you to encourage you, put courage in. But what most of the believers that I'm talking to need right now, they need strength. You need strength. Somebody say strong and courageous. Okay Pastor Mike, so if I need to be strong and courageous to actually see the promised land, make that make sense to me, write this point down. Your strength and courage come from your care and consistent systems. All y'all wanna be spiritual today? Nope, I'm gonna be very practical. If you want courage, your courage is connected to your care, just ask any mom. People will do stuff as a mom that they will never do if you mess with a baby. And all the moms say, "Hey, man." Look that woman said.
(audience laughing) I mean, I have seen moms Natalie, at one point, and Erin can literally give testimony to this. Natalie stopped a car with her body. Baby, you remember this? And she said, "Stop telling my story." She literally, one of our babies, she put her body in front of a car and stopped it long enough to get that baby out of the way. Now, if I was about to get hit by a car, I'm telling you, she would be like, "Watch out." (audience laughing) Babe! I love you! (audience laughing) Y'all have been doing my funeral. (audience laughing) But that baby, who was defenseless, that she cared for, that baby said, "Hmm." (audience laughing) Why? Because my courage is connected to what I care about. (audience cheering) So my question to you, if you need to build your courage, what do you care about? And some of us are caring about things that aren't things that actually produce any life in our world. I can't care about your opinion.
You get encouraged to respond to somebody that you'll never meet online. That's called sideways energy. You ain't never gonna see these people a day in your life, but you actually need courage to actually mend that bond between you and your family member. (audience cheering) But sometimes we care more about the opinion of somebody we don't know than healing the thing that's been a breach in our family line to actually change our bloodline. What I'm saying to you is you may need to re-examine what you care about. 'Cause the only way you get courage is if you actually care about it. (audience cheering) Here's the next one, how do I get strength, Pastor Mike? Why don't you ask me that? How do I get strength, Pastor? I'm so glad you asked. You get strength through consistent systems. You cannot get strength by wanting it. You do not get strong in any area by knowing how to do it. You do not get strength unless you have a consistent system that delivers strength. So if you are weak in your mind, what is your consistent system to strengthen your mind daily? For me, I get in the mirror every morning and I say, you are Michael Todd, and you are confident, you are courageous,
you are satisfied, you are healthy, you are whole, you are a man of integrity, you love one woman, you take care of all four yoga and I just go and I just beat him. Yes, I am. (audience laughing) 'Cause of all the attacks that come against me, all the things that the enemy would try to love to get into this mind, no, no, no, no. I have to build a consistent system to build my mental strength. People come through, how do you do it? How do you do it? 'Cause I'm in the gym. I'm working, I'm clocking in spiritually. If you ever just come around and put a camera on me, you will see me walking around doing regular stuff, (speaking in foreign language) You want two double teeth, (speaking in foreign language) No, no, no, no, I'ma go get 'em baby, (speaking in foreign language) I need my agent to be real nice though, put my agent right here. (speaking in foreign language) Why? 'Cause I'm spiritually. What, I'm building my faith in that moment. And too many people want what they won't work for. I'ma just tell you,
you never going to be strong in integrity if you're always watching porn. (speaking in foreign language) There's no way you will be able to look at a woman or a man with any type of purity if you keep consistently feeding that system. (speaking in foreign language) Okay, y'all want it? You will never be able to manage millions if you cannot manage hundreds. (crowd yelling) I'ma be a millionaire, not for long. (laughing) I can trace my strength to my system If y'all could see how y'all looking at me right now One dude looking at me cross eye right now. He's like, I don't even know if I was supposed to be here The reason I'm saying this is because I'm trying to give you practical steps to be what God told Joshua He had to be to possess the land strong and courageous strong and very courageous. My command is be strong and So you got to care and have a consistent system That's enough revelation for you to chew on for the rest of the year But most of us want to come back and get a shot next week of faith so we can do what God told us to do do this one Just do this one if you Would do this one and build your strength and understand your care. It would change everything in your life Let me give you a practical example. I've been on a Challenge that I gave myself something wrong with me But I gave myself a challenge to do 200 push-ups every day until my birthday, which is November 15 I am on day 46 right now And I have not missed the day some of you Cool, I don't need I don't need your encouragement. My wife said I look good
Thumbs up baby thumbs. Okay. I Have seen I have seen over the last 45 days My strength build in ways. I didn't even understand until it was tested Like I've been doing 200 push-ups before I go to bed every single day for 45 day I have done 9,000 push-ups in The last 45 days now now now now let me tell you it hurts Let me tell you the days that I have forgotten to start until 10 p.m.. Because I was doing things I was responsible for And there was nobody that was going to do anything to me if I didn't do them Except I knew I was training for something That I'm not yet in yet today before I came out in the back Y'all was saying on time God and on beat I was like one two three four cuz I got to get these push-ups in before tonight. Why? Because I'm building strength, but the only way I'm building strength is through a system I have an app on my phone. It's a little beta stride app. I'm testing for everybody in the world right now But I'm literally counting by fives Up to 200 every day because I will never see the strength if I do not develop the system Pastor Mike why do you keep saying this because you don't need a miracle? You need a system You want to develop a prayer life create a You want to tear you for 12 hours 12 minutes. Let's do 12 minutes for a year 12 hours one time it's just gonna be like I'm never doing that again But 12 minutes every day Consistently making time it's compounding interests on the same thing over and over again And I'm begging you church To stop trying to be impressive and explosive Just be consistent All right three claps it's all good. I'm for the three people that want to know What to do cuz this is why you scared to ride because you don't believe in your own strength You don't believe in you you say God called me I don't believe he called me
I don't know what he talking about. I'm not the one But he tells Joshua here the one So I'm gonna give you three things you need to know if you're gonna be ready to ride y'all ready for them Okay, and then we going home all right here we go if you're going to be strong and courageous you have to know why And let me say this to you because I want somebody to hear me say this when you lose your why you lose your way If your why is not strong some of y'all forgot why you fell in love with your spouse Some of you some of you have forgotten why you moved to Tulsa you forgot why God called you to this church You forgot and when you lose your why? You lose your way today. I'm gonna give you three reasons of why you need to be strong and courageous tag, you're it. Tap your neighbor on the shoulder and say tag. You're it. Come on high fives in the chat right now. Find your other neighbor. You didn't like as much and say tag. You it. That's awkward, ain't it? Here we go. Tag. Does anybody ever remember playing tag as a kid? No, it's crazy that I just thought about this playing tag with my what my kids is that playing tag, the object, if you're not the one tagging is to run away. Which I think we've never reversed that when God says tag you're it. When God's chasing after us, we're like, yeah, I know this game. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. And most of us spend most of our life running from the one who chose us. We spend most of our life going away from the one we need to put his hand on us. And he's saying, I'm choosing you. And you're like, uh, uh, let me run away from this call. Let me run away from this expectation. Let me run away from this responsibility. I don't want to be responsible like that. And God's saying, I'm not going to tag nobody else. Tag, you're it. You want to see it in the scripture? He tells Joshua in verse six, be strong and courageous for you're the one. Tag, you it. Two million people with the children of Israel. He could have tagged anybody else. And he came to Joshua. Moses is a dad tag, you it. And when I started thinking about tag, three things came to my mind. This is my imagination. The first thing I thought about is playing tag as a kid. The second thing, my mom, I'm sorry about this, but you told us not to watch wrestling, but all your boys watched it anyway. And, um, we used to watch wrestling, um, WWF and then it turned to WWE. And one of the greatest, um, tag team teams was this thing y'all to say for this. They were called the NWO. And it was the new world order. And this was back when Hulk Hogan had already passed his heyday, but then somehow he came back
in. And it was Hulk Hogan. And, uh, who was the other two? Um, Steve Nash. And, uh, what was the other guy? Um, Scott Hall, that's who it was with the slickback. Y'all remember what I was talking about. And one of the things that I loved about them is they never fought alone. Even when they were up in the ring by themselves, they would run down to the ring right when somebody was about to get beat and they would put their hand over the rope. And what they would do is they would tag each other. And when you went to, oh, there they go, they would tag each other. And when they would tag each other, the one would go through the thing and they would come and it was a lot of foot stomping. Y'all know what I'm talking about. What does it look like when God says, I'm not just tagging you, but I want you to be my partner. Like out of everybody, he could pick. He wants to get his wheel done on earth through you. What a privilege for God to look over the rafters of heaven and put out his hand and put out his hand and literally say, tag. You're it, Dea. Tag. You're it, Matt. Tag. You're it, Alex. Today, I came to tell you it's you. Turn that music off. Turn that off. I'm not done. Thank you. Tag. He's partnering with you right now. 2026 is the year that you got to understand that God is saying, I need you to do it. And he's not looking for another one, Brittany. He's coming for you. He's coming for you. He's coming for you. The last thing that I thought about when I thought about tag, I thought about a name tag because a tag is something a label that people put on you. And the truth of the matter is many times the tag that we answer to is the tag that we actually believe in. So right now, all over the room, if I tagged you bold, who would want boldness in their life? Okay. Get that to her. We'll come run some of these back. If somebody said tag satisfied, that was your name. You want that tag. Come on. Okay. Somebody take successful to somebody, Charles, who wants to be here? I'm going to put that right here for you. How about anybody who want to be tagged, married? Don't hurt Pastor Charles. Joyful, anybody want to be tagged? Joyful, give it to her right there. All right, I got two more tags. Who wants to tag? Failure.
Who wants to be tagged to failure? Sit down, no you don't. Who wants to be tagged, frustrated? What I'm saying to you, listen, listen, listen, why would you choose to pick up these tags? Why would you choose to be introduced as hello? My name is, frustrated. Hello, my name is failure. Today, we're coming to rip up every tag. Oh, y'all better hear me. Today, God's saying, I'm ripping up every tag I didn't call you. It don't matter if your parents called it to you. We're changing your bloodline. I don't care if this is what your first husband said. We're changing your bloodline. I don't care if this is what you believe about yourself. I'm changing your bloodline. I'm changing your name. We serve the God that changes names. He takes you from-- Oh my God. Takes you from Jacob to Israel. He changes names. And so I just came to simply tell you, be strong and courageous, because tag, second reason, that you need to understand, that you need to be strong and courageous, is watch this because turning back will take too much. The first song that we sing is called "Forward." It's the word of the year here at Transformation Church.
And the bridge of that song says, I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back. The reason why you can't turn back because it's going to cost you too much. If you turn back-- now, I know it looks tempting. I know Egypt looks tempting. I know slavery looks tempting. But you have come too far to lose that much that quick. That one call could set you back four years. That one night could take away your joy for a decade. Do y'all hear what I'm saying? Today, I'm coming to tell you, turning back will take too much. That's why in verse 7, it says, be strong and very courageous. Somebody say, why? Because you got to be careful to obey all my instructions. Do not deviate from them turning to the left or to the right. The Holy Spirit said to me through this, He said, Michael, I need my people to have ferocious focus. I need them to be focused because the deviation makes them want to turn back. And today, I need everybody to know that this previous generation died because they would not listen to the word of God. And I just need you to understand God said, you'll be successful in everything you do if you just stay focused. How many people would just acknowledge because we're a hot church humble, open and transparent that you are somebody who gets distracted easily. Come on, let's just--
God, leave. Keep the camera right here. Keep the camera right here. May I submit to you, you're not strong and focused because you don't have a consistent system to focus. Do you practice focus? [INTERPOSING VOICES] Do you have any system that helps you say, I'm going to focus on this? Until you build that, it will never be a trait that the Holy Spirit just gives you. Dang, Pastor Mike, I just thought I was going to go to the altar and then he was going to tell me, I'll fall out. I'll even fall out. I'll fall out for focus. [LAUGHTER] Come on. I hit the ground. Get up. Still distracted. [LAUGHTER] Why? Because you don't have a system to build your strength in that area. And I'm just begging you. Build the system and care about it. Be strong and courageous. Because if you go back, it will take too much from you. [INTERPOSING VOICES] Thank you, Holy Spirit. Last one, verse 9, it says, this is my command.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord God. Watch this is with you wherever you go. Watch this. This is a promise for after the promised land. He said, "I'll be with you wherever you go." Which means write this down as a point. There is a future plan that goes beyond the promised land. Most people are just trying to get to that one thing. And God's saying, "I need you to build your strength "and your care in all these areas." 'Cause before you were formed in your mother's womb, I knew you. I had plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future. This is not the only battle I want you to win. So I'm not promising you I'm gonna be with you in the promised land. I said, "Wherever you go." What I'm trying to tell everybody right now is this is God's ultimate idea. His greatest plans for you you haven't even thought of yet. What he thinks about you has not even entered into your mind. There's so much more, we sang it in the worship. There's so much more to this story. He's not done with you. But the truth of the matter is you gotta stay focused. You gotta develop your care and your system. And watch this, you got to go tag somebody else. See, the reason why God's choosing Joshua
is because his obedience is about to tag an entire nation of people. These people are about to enter into the place that their generations before them never got to see because he said, "This ain't just for me." Tag, I'm it. Tag, you're it. Right now, if I tag you and you go tag PC, PC, and PC you go tag somebody over there. And then that person gets up and tags somebody behind them. Tag somebody behind you. Tag somebody behind you. And tag somebody behind them. And tag somebody behind them. Y'all keep tagging people, brother, tag them. (audience laughing) Keep going. Let's see if the tag can get up to the rafters. Tag. Tag. Tag. Come on, tag. Tag, you said in the back 'cause you didn't think we was gonna notice you. Tag that person right, stand up. You, stand up, last tag, stand up. Hey girl. Oh boy, I can't even see it. Person. I wanna let you know that God told me to tag you
and let you know that there is a blessing that I'm supposed to give you today. I'm not telling everybody, but I'm supposed to give you a blessing because God wanted to single you out and let you know he's proud of you. Today, this is just a sign in the back, all the way in the back. God just wants you to know he loves you and he's proud of you. Watch this. I didn't tag her. I only tagged her. And it was the tag of every person that was touched all the way up that allowed Kendall to walk into her blessings. I need somebody to hear me. You gotta get in your place right now. It's time to ride because somebody is waiting on you. (audience cheers) Somebody say it's time to ride. (audience laughs) Bonus point and we out of here. You have to be strong and courageous because your shoulder is the setup. After Joshua allowed all the people to cross because the presence of God was in the middle of the water and they all crossed before they came out of the water with the presence of God, Joshua picked one person. He tagged other people.
He tagged 12 people that represented all the other bloodlines in the tribe. He said, I need the 12 tribes of Israel. I need one person from each of those tribes to come and I need you to pick up a big rock and I need you to put it on your shoulder and I need you to take this from here. I need you to bear the weight for the generations to come. He said, because one day this water is gonna be covering up this spot in the proof or the evidence or the testimony that we saw God do a miracle here is that we're gonna take a rock from the bottom of this water and we're gonna put it on our shoulder and we're gonna carry it to the next place and then we're gonna set those 12 stones up as a memorial for people who ain't even here yet. And there were 12 men that actually took the weight of responsibility for a generation that was not there yet. They were the ones that were designated And as we're walking into this week in this conference, I just believe that God is calling this church to be the errand in the hers, the 12 people that are saying, "God, I'll do it." I bet there are a few people that volunteered. They said, "I don't know what you're about to ask me to do, "but I'll do it." What happens when you stop running when God wants to tag you? And you start volunteering your services. Here I am, Lord, send me.
I can preach a whole 'nother message on this, but this is what I want you to leave thinking. My shoulders are built to transform my bloodline. Yeah, you need to say that over yourself. You need something to build your mind. My shoulders are built to transform my bloodline. Why? 'Cause the Bible says that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is living on the inside of me. Now, for every blood believer in this place, you may not know this, but you have supernatural shoulders. Our rabbi, our example Jesus, did something before he was crucified to show us what it looks like to bear a burden for a generation that's not yet there. The Bible tells us that after they cried Hosanna in the streets, then they started yelling crucify him. And what they made him do is pick up a cross. And the Bible tells us that this cross, that he would be hung on, was heavy. And he had to carry his own cross on his shoulders for a generation who would be plagued by sin. And he carried it all the way to Calvary just from you and me. And he was an eternal example of what it looked like to shoulder the weight of somebody else's sin. So that one day, maybe they would have the opportunity to be changed by the bloodline of one man. And the Bible tells us that we're supposed
to pick up our cross, not yearly, not monthly, not weekly, but I'm supposed to show this is why I pray for my daughters. This is why I pray for sin youth. This is why I pray for my brothers. This is why I stand in the gap and tell people, even though culture thinks that's normal, this is not normal. I'm trying to shoulder. I'm trying to build something that will save another generation. (audience chattering) Today all I'm asking you is will you shoulder something for somebody else to be saved? Will you actually be the one to say it stops with me? I'm gonna develop my consistent systems in my care because I have to be an example to this next generation. The world is getting darker and darker, but he's the light of the world. My shoulders were built to transform my bloodline. Those 12 men we don't know their names, but everybody saw those stones. The Bible said they still stand to this day. Those 12 men did something that literally stands till this day. Their shoulders were built for it. And today, just as our rabbi had supernatural shoulders, I'm here to tell you, you can get through that addiction. You can be free from that depression. You can walk away from that jealousy
and that you can actually not be religious and pharacyical. You can actually celebrate people. You can actually be a part of this body and live in peace. You don't have to, you can shoulder this way to let God transform your life, standing all over this building. [BLANK_AUDIO] Be strong and courageous. Be strong and very courageous. This is my command. Be strong and courageous. What are you going to be? Strong and courageous. This week, what is your declaration over yourself? I am strong and courageous. Before you leave in this place, I need you to hear me say this. Today, I'm going to pray that God gives you wisdom to build supernatural strength through building practical systems. I'm telling you, some of you, this is the breakthrough that's about to change everything in your life because it's time to ride. Promised land is here, gods that got your back. All you need is two things, courage and strength. And if you have not had courage today, I'm going to encourage you. If you've been lacking courage or strength all over this room and watching online, everywhere is an altar. If that's you, lift your hands. I want to pray for you right now. Strength or courage or both, you've been lacking them. In some area of your life, Father in the name of Jesus, here it is, I thank you that because of Jesus, we can all have strength and courage. Today God, I'm praying for every man, woman, boy, and girl under the sound of my voice
in this room and online, in the prison system. God, I thank you that strength and courage are literally going to be an endless supply for them because they have gotten the revelation of understanding where strength and courage come from. Father, let us have compassion or care about what you care about. God, I thank you that you would break our heart for what breaks yours. My God, I thank you, Father, that we would stop caring for the superficial and we would care, Father, for the eternal. God, would you let us be able to see and sense your heart everywhere we go? Father, God, increase our awareness of who you are so that we can be ones that are moved to courage because we actually do care. God, I'm asking you for everybody that has found themselves not being able to have strength. I'm thanking you that you would reveal the supernatural system that allows them consistently to build. God, I'm thanking you that people are getting smarter as they build these systems, Father God, that people are walking into health as they build the systems, Father God, that you are giving them ways that energize them, make it fun, Father God, give them a energy, Father God, to do what you said. God, I thank you that growth is happening everywhere in the name of Jesus. Christ are being changed because we will shoulder the weight of transformation for our own lives. Today, I'm praying strength and courage over this church, your church, the church of Jesus Christ that is advancing. God, I thank you for what you're about to do in this place, even in this moment. And I stopped running. And somebody's life is getting changed. (congregation applauding) Because he tagged. (congregation chattering) People are coming from all over the world this week. (speaking in foreign language) What a privilege, woo. What a privilege to partner with God. You see this young man holding his son, is that your son or your brother? Who's that?
