Make sure and turn to your neighbor and tell them how good they look this morning. Well, good morning, reach. It is so good to see you in the house of the Lord this morning. It is so good to worship with you here in this place. If you are new around here, we just want to say welcome home. Welcome to the family. Welcome to the tribe. You belong here. We are so thankful that the Lord brought you here to us this morning. And so welcome to reach KC. We are so glad to have you. You know, this morning I was thinking about what I was going to talk about to you guys. And I kept thinking about brother Tuck over here. And over the past several weeks, he keeps saying this line, right? He keeps saying that this is the day. And what does he say? Of salvation. Well, a little fun fact for me is every time that he says this is the day, I don't think of salvation. I think this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. See I was a preschool teacher for like four and a half years and I used to sing a little song to the kids about how this is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it and so every time he says this is the day I'm singing that song in my head I'm not gonna sing it for y'all this morning but I sing it in my head but I think about that this is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice

and be glad in it why would I not rejoice in all that the Lord has done for me right when I think about the Lord I think about the fact that he saved me he is my salvation he is my healer he is my provider he is my counselor he is sitting at the right hand of the Father right now interceding on my behalf why would I not rejoice in his presence why would I not rejoice every single day when I wake up and when I rejoice why would I not want to give back to him everything that he has given to me guys we talk about the time every single week and we don't talk about it because the church needs your money or that we're trying to get a bigger building or anything like that we talk about it because it's about our heart posture we want to give back to the Lord because he has given so much for us he gave his life on the cross for us if it wasn't for him we would not be here so why would we not give back to him the generosity that he has given to us why would we not want to rejoice in that way and say Lord you can have it all you can have my 10% you can have my time you can have my offering whatever I can bring to the table you can have it and you know what happens is that when we give the Lord provides for us he gives to us he blesses our lives but not just that he blesses those around us I know that you have somebody on your heart that has been lost in seeking the Lord and they have not found what they've been looking for they've been seeking in all the wrong places they don't know that it's the Lord that they need they don't know the joy that comes from being in the Lord's presence when we give it helps us to be able to reach those people so we can encourage and we can bring more people in so we can see more souls saved so that it can be the day of salvation right so that we can rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Christ so we just encourage you give what you can tithe do the 10% give from a joyful heart one that says Lord you gave it all for me I will give it back to you gladly because I have not guaranteed one day on this earth but you have given me today to be able to rejoice in your presence there's multiple ways you can give today you can give when the ushers come up they're gonna come forward right now and whenever they pass the buckets you can give online you can give through

Church Center however it best works for you let's pray Heavenly Father Lord we just thank you we thank you that you are so good and that you have given us this day to rejoice in your presence thank you Jesus for the life that you gave for us Lord you gave it all for us it's over today as we give we give with a willing heart a heart that says thank you thank you so much for salvation thank you so much for what you've done in our lives thank you for healing and provision and guidance thank you Jesus Lord and as we give today I just pray that you would bless the hands that give Lord and you would bless them abundantly Lord and that you would bless the offering and multiply it so that you can do more with it than what we could do on our own Lord we give this to you willingly and with a thankful heart in Jesus name amen well hey we are just so excited it is an awesome time they will be in great company we will have multiple adults that go with them and it will be just a wonderful time honestly I'm excited for my kids to go as the first year that we've taken them down there if anybody has been to the men's retreat or the women's retreat it's at the same campgrounds and so there is an anointing there it is special I believe that kids are gonna be called into ministry they're gonna be saved they're gonna be filled with the Holy Spirit amen and God is just gonna do something and so I am excited for that well hey we just want to welcome everybody home if this is your first week maybe it's your first week in a long time we would just love to just welcome you let you know that you are a part of our family you are a part of our tribe and that we will just stand with you we want to walk this thing out with you do life with you see you become a passionate follower of Jesus amen and so we just welcome you and let you know that you are welcome here. Well, we are in a series that is titled, It Starts With Power. Amen, and I'm kind of in this theme, we're going through the book of Acts,

and there's a theme that I see in Acts, and it's a church on the move. And so we're talking kind of behind this theme, and here in a couple weeks, we're gonna be in another series underneath of that theme. But right now, we are in that theme, It Starts With Power. And today, I wanna talk from the topic, this is that. This is that. Have you ever seen someone change so much that you could barely even recognize who they are? Come on, somebody. I know that, I'm not talking no small change, but I'm talking like real change, like life-altering change, the kind of transformation where when people see you, they whisper, is that even the same person that I know, right? Because not too long ago, you remember who this person used to be, right? You remember the struggles that you've seen them going through, you remember the mistakes that they were making, you remember when the season was that it seems like every person, it was like the least likely person that God would even use. Like when you see their life, you would have never guessed

that God would have done something extravagant through that. You see them go so far back and forth that it seems like things, every time it seems like it was wearing down, it was just like they would give up, things were falling apart, and yet something miraculous happened. You're not quite sure what that something is, but it's like all of a sudden, they had a confidence that they didn't have before. Right, all of a sudden, they have this persona about them that captures a room when nobody used to listen to them. All of a sudden, when they speak, people start to listen, right? They used to struggle with anger, but something has shifted. Maybe they encountered God, maybe the Spirit of God actually got a hold of their life, but now when you see them, they're just different, right? Something is different about them. They're bold when they used to be fearful, right? There's something steady about them when they used to be broken. They're speaking life when all they ever used to speak was negativity, right? There's something that has shifted,

and when people ask what happened to them, the only explanation is God did something major in their life. Nobody else has a good explanation as to what possibly happened, but through the prophet Joel, God said, I will pour out my Spirit on all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams, and for generations, people read these words and wondered, when will that really happen? What is that even going to look like? And then one day, the Spirit of God was actually poured out and we see lives being changed in a moment, people speaking boldly that used to hunker down, God starts to move in tangible ways, and in the midst of all of it, Peter, the apostle Peter, stands up in the middle of the crowd and says this, this thing that you guys are mocking, this thing that you guys are doubting, this broken life that you see now honoring God, this is that. This is that. In other words, what you are seeing right now is exactly what God promised, and the truth of it is, is this wasn't just a sound of wind. This wasn't just a sound of wind, this wasn't just people speaking in tongues,

this wasn't just anything, this is God transforming people's lives. Normal people, you and I, struggling people, you and I, unlikely people, you and I, people who had encountered the spirit of God. It wasn't just an empty tomb that they had found a few weeks ago, church, but rather it was an ushering of an authentic encounter with the living God where God said, I will pour my spirit out on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Come on, church. I begin to declare the prophecy of Joel over Reach KC Church today that God would pour his spirit out on all people here, that all the people watching in the room or online or in the prisons, that sons and daughters of God would begin to prophesy that your sons. and daughters would begin to prophesy that the Spirit of God would fall so heavily on your children that you would be able to witness your children receive this baptism of the Holy Ghost and something would shift in their life that you wouldn't just settle that young men would see visions and not settle for the things that you've always had but you would look beyond your capacity and begin to ask God what he wants to do through you because the best is yet to come church the best days are ahead still it is not done it is still going and that the older men would dream dreams and begin to share with the

younger generations what it is that God is speaking to you the Spirit of God be poured out on all people so that the world begins to see unlikely people from overlooked places doing extraordinary things may the Spirit of God begin to usher in something different than what we've always had and do something different and greater than what we've always seen and I love this passage because we see Peter stand up he says this is that this what you see is that this is a generation that God promised his spirit is real and he is here with us and he is in us and what the crowd was about to discover is that when the Spirit moves God fulfills his promise to transform people and reach the world amen and so I want to look at I want to look at three discoveries that we find when we see the Holy Spirit move three discoveries that we find when we see the Holy Spirit move and the first discovery is this stepping in the right direction stepping in the right direction Acts 2 14 says this then Peter stepped forward with the 11 other Apostles and shouted to the crowd picture millions of people and all of the sudden Peter steps forward with 11 people behind him like say something and he says listen carefully every single one of you fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem make no mistake about this these people that you are talking about are not drunk as some of you are assuming no what you see was predicted long time ago by the Prophet Joel Peter says hey this what you see is that of which was in Scripture have you ever believed God was going to do something and then it didn't happen the way that you thought it would they're like yes right now in fact I came to church expecting more and it's not Peter knew that Jesus was the Messiah he saw the miracles firsthand you want to talk about inner circle Peter was the inner circle people always talk about favoritism Peter was favored when you look at the life of Jesus Jesus had inner people he had 12 people that was close but he had Peter James and John that was even closer they got to go and see things that never even nobody else not even the other disciples got to see Peter saw the miracles Peter saw the authority of Christ he believed that Jesus would establish the kingdom he believed everything that he heard Jesus talk about but when Jesus was arrested

and beaten and crucified in that moment Peter's expectations collapsed the man who once said I'll never deny you Messiah all the sudden stood around a fire he said I don't even know that man he said are you sure cuz I thought you was one of his disciples he said I don't know him not just once but multiple times Peter didn't just fail he retreated he retreated because when pressure showed up Peter didn't stand up he stepped back he cowered down But 50 days, 50 days later, see that was the last time we seen Peter, but 50 days later something incredible happens, Acts 2 14 says, then Peter stepped forward. See a minute ago we see Peter step back, but now all of the sudden the man who stepped back now stepped up, and the one who retreated in fear now stands in boldness. There's something significant about Peter standing because 50 days earlier he stepped back in fear. He denied Jesus three times and he knew him, he knew, he knew what was happening, but yet he hid in shame after the crucifixion, but now all of the sudden that same Peter stands up publicly. That same Peter now all of the sudden begins to preach Christ boldly as if he's always been about that business, and the difference was that he had an authentic encounter with the Holy Spirit. See oftentimes people retreat in their faith when God doesn't do what they expected him to do. See Peter expected a political Messiah. See Peter expected an immediate victory, come on it's Jesus after all that we've seen him to do and this is how the story's going to end? You mean to tell me that this is, he definitely, Peter definitely did not expect a brutal crucifixion. There's no way after such a great life there's, this is the humiliating end to such great potential, and I've seen that myself. You see potential in people's life and yet all of the sudden something shifts and such great potential ends to such a humiliating end and when Jesus was crucified Peter's expectations collapsed and honesty, we can see how Peter retreated anyways can't we? Because some of you know exactly what it's like.

You believed God would fix the marriage that's been struggling for years now. The one that you questioned if it was even right. I mean you've been back and forth trying to determine what you could do different, you've done everything that you know how to do, but for some reason it still dwindles every single time shortly after. But for some reason you haven't truly surrendered everything to the Spirit of God in your life. See you think you have but you're still hanging on to expectations that you're expecting God to do and he's expecting you to do something different and now all of the sudden when them expectations haven't happened, see you believed that he would heal the sickness. See you thought he was going to take it from that person that you have watched continually fight through it. See maybe you thought he was going to heal the sickness that you have actually been fighting through personally right and you have begged for healing but you have witnessed it personally get worse. Maybe you have watched yourself in the mirror begin to dissipate from whatever it is that you are struggling with. See you believe that God would open that door but when he didn't you decide to kick it open and now you're wondering why what you forced as his will isn't working like you dreamed it would. See this relationship was supposed to hit different. See this relationship was supposed to be better than it is. This job was supposed to be more rewarding than it is. This thing that I expected God to give me just isn't fulfilling me the way that I imagined it would. See you believed that he would answer the prayer that you have continually brought to him like the woman that has continued to petition the judge. You've been knocking on the door like scripture says but something just hasn't shifted. It just isn't happened. You believed that he would answer that prayer and when things didn't happen the way that you expected they would.

Something in your faith has pulled back. You haven't noticed it but something has shifted because see the expectations that you had. The expectations that you had for God to do something on your behalf and when he didn't show up you retreated. You stepped back because you had higher expectations for the Messiah. Come on this is the king. This is the one who carried the cross. This is the one who healed blind people. When I cut somebody's ear off I sat and watched him put it back on. God, even in my disobedience, he did a miracle. How is it that this is what happens? See, here's the truth. Your retreat does not cancel God's calling. See, the Spirit can restore what fear once silenced in you. See, it's all about stepping in the right direction. See, you can either step back, or you can do like Peter did, and you can step forward. You can do something different in your life. See, failure is not final when the Spirit fills your life. See, when the Holy Spirit moves, when you truly encounter the Holy Spirit and surrender, surrender your will. Surrender your ways. Surrender your desires. He will come in and begin to birth all new desires in you. You won't want the same things that you used to. You'll want what pleases God in your life no matter the outcome, no matter the outcome. Well, things just ain't going the way they used to. It's all right. Keep pushing.

Keep pressing, because there is light at the end of the tunnel. I promise you, his word will not return void. You cannot press in and him not show up. Every time when things get hard, you just continue to retreat. You continue to step back. But he said, hey, I want to pour my spirit out on your life so that when you receive the Holy Ghost, that something happens and shifts in your life. Because I'm tired of seeing you step back, queen. I'm tired of seeing you step back, king. I need you to step up. I need you to step forward. I need you to receive the power that can help you change the things that are going in your life. And even if it don't change, even if it don't change, I want you to be able to walk boldly and know that I am the Messiah. Know that I am the one who saves all situations. Know that I am the one who shifts atmospheres. Know that I am the one who still holds the keys in my hand. Because see, God has a way of restoring what fear broke. See, you used to shrink back when things got bad. But now the Holy Spirit is birthing a new confidence in the room today, one where sons and daughters are going to be moving different in their life because the Holy Spirit is about to do a new thing in the room. He's going to use you to minister to a remnant, to a people that has been left behind because society would typically throw them away. Society would typically throw your children away.

But if you believe that God can restore what fear has broken your life, if you begin to say that I want to receive everything that God has for me, and I want a new pep in my step, I want something different in my life. I want something different in my family. I'm not going back. I'm going forward. I need to step up boldly. I need to speak the promises of God over my family. I'm not speaking the negativity no more. I'm not stepping back. I'm not denying Him, even though my situation don't look like it should. I'm believing God. And I'm going to believe that He's going to do it. I'm going to believe that He's going to change it. And even if I sat and watched everything go like it was not supposed to go, I'm still going to speak boldly in front of people. I'm still going to say, the King is who the King said. And I don't care if my situation don't look like it. I'm believing boldly. If you believe that God can shift a circumstance, I want everybody to give praise for five seconds in the room. I want somebody to look at your neighbor and say, I'm stepping. I'm stepping in the right direction. I'm stepping in the right. I'm going somewhere. Every step is going to count moving forward.

I'm not taking uncalculated steps. I'm taking the steps that the Lord has. See, Peter stepped forward. Peter stepped forward. When the Holy Spirit came, all of a sudden, Peter said, somebody's got to do it. Somebody's got to stand up. I can't continue to allow all of you people to talk about the Messiah the way that he is, talk about the Spirit of God the way that you are. I know that it don't make sense. But there is something that you guys, I know you can't make sense of it. But this is what it is, which leads me to point number two, stuff scripture talks about. this is the stuff scripture talks about see Acts 2 see in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit upon all people see this is Peter continuing and now he's starting to preach scripture come on somebody he said in the last day God says I will pour out my spirit upon all people see y'all was tripping that's what he said said y'all was tripping y'all see y'all thought something but he said your sons and daughters will prophesy and he begins to declare to the crowd your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see visions your old men will dream dreams and in those days I will pour out my spirit even on my servants men and women alike and they will prophesy see one of the most interesting things about Acts 2 is that the crowd didn't even know what they were looking at think about it this was completely foreign to all of them it shouldn't have been though it shouldn't have been see they heard about stuff from scripture that was read in the synagogues their entire life they had heard the promises of God but to actually see it seemed like madness to most people to their knowledge only select people were allowed to be voices

for the Lord it kind of reminds me of church today in the Western society where the pastor is held to a standard different than your own where all of the sudden we place stipulations on the pastor because we see them moving in a certain way but yet we don't hold that same standard to our life but from what I see it says that we are all ambassadors we are all priests but see God was moving and you know that God was moving because instantly lives were being transformed suddenly remember the subtle suddenlies suddenly the spirit was being poured out but some of the crowd looked at what was happening be like man they gotta be drunk and people are crazy but hear me church when heaven moves earth often misunderstands because the spirit understands the things of the spirit but the flesh understands the things of the flesh see throughout history whenever God begins to do something different people often misinterpret it it's the stuff that scripture talks about anytime you go back and you read a significant pivotal moment in scripture there was always somebody that misunderstood it imagine the confusion this day people here in languages spoken by Galileans just ordinary people doing extraordinary things huh huh I mean people were praising God like they had never before this was unnatural it was not normal for people to all the sudden see a group of hundreds of people praising God talking about the miraculous things of God all they had done was attended a Presbyterian Church their whole life they didn't know what it was like and instead of recognizing a move of God some people reduced it to man these people have lost their mind but see that's why Peter stands up and he says hey that which was spoken by the prophet Joel this is that which that was spoken in other words you think this is chaos but this is prophecy this is stuff scripture talked about Pentecost wasn't random it was a promise being fulfilled and we get to see it see God promised he would pour out his spirit on all people he would pour it out on sons and daughters he's saying that there would no longer be any kind of assignment that was attached to a woman or to a man a woman could now walk in ministry a man could now walk in ministry because he is pouring his spirit out on all people not

just some people but all people and he's pouring it out on young and old people let me tell you young and do not allow people to despise your youth walk into the calling that God has placed on your life do what God has called you to do and let me talk to the elders ones the ones that are in the room and the ones that are watching online quit allowing the devil to lie to you and tell you that you are too old for the Spirit of God to use you there was never an age limit on an assignment God said I want to use you and I'm gonna use you if you back down and you cower down you're stepping in the wrong direction but we've got to be one Step in the right direction why because he said I will pour my spirit out on all people He said the servants he said I'm gonna pour it out on the servants and the handmaids he said you know what it doesn't matter What economic class you come from poor people rich people middle-class people? Everybody can receive the Spirit of God and can do something different in your life See everybody's got a ministry not everybody is your ministry But you have a circle of people That are around you that you can begin to minister to and maybe there are some mothers that are single mothers Hey, your assignment is to raise your children like Kings and Queens And they're supposed to be living in accordance to the scripture get rid of everything that is not in alignment with what that is Maybe there are stay-at-home moms Hey your assignment is to raise your children to be servants of the Most High God Because they have something that is on them, and you can multiply yourself through them see God was announcing something revolutionary See the Spirit would no longer be limited to prophets priests and kings The Spirit would be poured out on everyone willing to receive it Here's the truth God is not withholding his Spirit Church The promise has already been made God is just waiting on his people to respond See Pentecost wasn't an accident it was an appointment It was a moment where he said hey, I'm gonna fulfill prophecy Because when you go back and read Joel 2 they say Pentecost was the fulfillment of that prophecy Where God was speaking in the Old Testament saying what he was going to do in the New Testament

He is looking to pour his spirit out on a generation ready to receive it We don't need more followers on social media platforms. We don't need to find a man or a woman to complete us I know it ain't popular. I know it ain't sexy I know it don't sound good, but you don't need them to complete you you don't need money sex or drugs You need the power of the Holy Spirit poured out on your life poured out on his church Poured out on all of his people you can call me crazy if you want to you can mock me because of my beliefs you Can think I'm playing some kind of weird hocus-pocus But I ain't got time to sit and let the opinions of other people stop me from the stuff scripture talks about Listen I may not understand it. I don't understand a lot of it I'm Pentecostal and don't understand it Some of you don't even understand what that means and that's okay, too But if scripture talks about it I'm gonna step up and not shrink back. I'm gonna declare the truth and not the false lies I'm gonna seek out the honest truth of God I'm not sinking back after all the Lord has done in my life. Yeah, I probably am the guy that you used to know Yeah, I probably am the person that did all of the evil things that you said I did back in the day But it's a good thing that when Christ laid his life down while we were yet Sinners that he said that he was going to send one after him and that he was going to empower People to change who they were and that he was going to use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise It's a good thing. I got a foolish background It's a good thing That I got a foolish background because now all of the sudden he can use my life See, I'm on a mission after receiving the Holy Spirit to allow the Lord to use my life to confound Anybody who thinks that God couldn't do something in my life? See it's all about perspective See you could either be man, I've just had it you don't understand my past. No I do I Do I could identify with over half of the stories in this room? I've been there done that got t-shirts to prove it I just quit wearing them because I'm not trying to allow to be myself to be identified by everything that I've been through

I'm trying to be identified by what the Spirit of God has done in and through my life This is the stuff that scripture talks about Why do we not believe it Well, I just don't understand it That's why he said my thoughts are higher than your thoughts My ways are higher than your ways if I wanted you to understand it I would have gave you understanding quit seeking understanding and seek revelation see he said I will reveal something to you in the time that I reveal it to you if I do not reveal it ask me when you get to heaven I wonder if heaven got a ghetto may may we be may we be a spirit-filled church on the move may we be a spirit-filled church on the move one that is stepping in the right direction one that is understanding the things that scripture talks about and even if I don't understand it that I'm going to apprehend it I'm going to apply it and I'm gonna say God I need revelation would you show me the stuff that I don't understand I lack faith give me more faith that's what they said he said I need more faith God I don't have I just don't have understanding would you give me understanding but see here's where I think a lot of us get some of this stuff wrong because see we believe that the Holy Spirit was given just for power there are ministries there are denominations that believe that the Holy Spirit was given just for power in fact so much so that they don't believe that you can go to heaven if you don't speak in tongues there are ministries that believe or denominations believe that you can't go to heaven if you are not baptized in water and they believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is only for one thing and that is to speak in tongues but what I see the ultimate reason the Spirit was poured out wasn't just for power it was for salvation which leads me to my third discovery when I'm looking at the Spirit moving and it's that his salvation is for everyone see Acts 2 now this was revolutionary in this time you're talking to people that was very highly religious anybody know some of them you never thought you would measure up you never thought you could be good enough for God you never thought that everything that you was doing would

actually be accepted by a king that was so holy because you was just raised to believe that a holy place a holy God would not accept a dirty sinner like you let's see Acts 2 21 says but everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved see it's amazing because Peter is bringing this entire moment to a climax the Spirit wasn't just poured out so that people could experience power the Spirit was poured out so that people could experience salvation the reason that we receive power is so that we could witness if you have power and you ain't winning nobody to Jesus you might have the Spirit but it ain't holy because the Holy Spirit empowers you to speak the gospel he don't empower you to criticize the church see the last time that I see anybody else in Scripture received the Holy Spirit they never talked bad about Christ's bride see I've seen way too many holy Christians that say they have the Holy Spirit that sit and do nothing but gossip and slander the church God did not give you the Holy Spirit to talk about his bride see there are some people that talk about the church if you was to talk about my wife like that I would put hands on you and not in a Pentecostal way all of a sudden I would get a new name called street preacher street disciple how come you got that name ask around but there are people men and women of God that are are using the power of the Holy Spirit to sit and manipulate the church that Christ died for it's not true see Pentecost wasn't just about manifestations it was about invitations It's not enough to stand in a room and a bunch of hoopla. It don't impress me. In fact, oftentimes it turns me off because I don't see nobody getting saved in the room. I see lost people come in and being like, what in the heck is going on here? Walk right out of the church and never walk right back in one. Because spirit filled believers are manipulating the spirit. See God rescued you and empowers you so that you could throw a lifeline out to the same kind of people. See Peter never says whoever is perfect.

He never says whoever is religious, whoever has their life together, whoever is doing all of the things that did this and did that and did this. See you only do this if you get that. No, he says whoever, period, whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. That one word right there removes every single barrier that could ever be. Not just Jews, not the million people that he's speaking to, not just the uneducated, not just the religious elite, not the elect. I'm trying to not be like super theological and doctrinal and stuff, but like, so you mean to tell me that God chose a certain number of people before time to be saved and everybody else is doomed to hell? What happened to whoever? What happened to whomsoever? What happened to all of these people that want to receive what God is doing? See the spirit was poured out so that the gospel could go out. The spirit wasn't poured out to create spectators. The spirit was poured out to create salvation. That's why. That's why we get saved. That's why God radically transforms your life. That's why 90% of the people are in the room because they identify with my crazy story. But pastor's been locked up. Pastor's got tattoos. Pastor looks good with a bald head and a thick beard. Come on somebody. Don't hate me because of crickets. Don't hate me because you ain't me. You know what I'm saying? Where was I going? I'm trying, I'm trying to remember where I was. Yes.

In Jesus name. But how come when that same principle applies to you, you don't even believe God could use you? Did you forget 15 years ago I was sitting in the same kind of situation grasping on to hope? Believing that God was going to do something through me, believing the scriptures even though it was hard to see because I was sleeping on my little sister's couch in Belvedere. Whole Belvedere. Sharing houses with the cockroaches. Come on somebody. This is that. See this is a testimony to what God can do there. The spirit didn't just pour out to create spectators, it was poured out to create salvation. Imagine standing in a building that was completely engulfed in flames, right? Imagine standing in a building that was on fire. Smoke is literally filling the hallways. People are in a straight panic. They don't know what to do. Alarms are screaming all across the building, but someone that is in the building finds the exit door and throws it open. Find something to open it up or keep it open. Now imagine, imagine you standing at that door and shouting, hey, hey, this way. Come on, come to the light. There's light right here. You can get out. There is life here. You will be rescued. Hey, just come this way. And at that moment, it doesn't matter who you are. It doesn't matter what you've done.

It doesn't matter what floor that you came from. It doesn't matter how long that you have waited. The only thing that matters. is did you get to that door did you get to the door the door that has life see Peter stands up and declares whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved he's saying hey the door is open hey over here and he's standing in a room full of people see not just for the religious see not just for the perfect not just for the people who have it all together not just for the ones who speak in tongues but for whoever calls on the name of the Lord see God didn't pour out his spirit so that we can impress the church he poured out the spirit so we could save the world we're misusing the gifts if God can restore Peter if God could fill Peter with the Holy Spirit and use him in a mighty way hear me church he can do the same thing for you 50 days ago Peter said I don't know him today we read Peter stands and tells the world how to know him see the promise is simple whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved it's that simple see why because the ground at the foot of the cross is level the same spirit that fills believers invites the lost see is what happened at Pentecost is it removed the members only sign from the presence of God did you know that revival is intended for all people because it starts in the heart well how do I know that because I've seen God use unlikely people from overlooked places to do extraordinary things and I have witnessed revival begin to happen in the hearts of his people and begin to do something that is in their life hey maybe you stumbled in here today and you didn't know why you even came but you've heard the message and now you understand that this is for you hey can I encourage you it is not our goal for you for you to just come in here and just just radically take away everything that you've ever lived for that is not our goal our goal is to see you surrender your life to the Lord and begin to walk in the identity of who he has passionately called you to be we want you to become a passionate follower of Jesus amen one one who says hey this is that this is exactly what Scripture

says it is this is the stuff that Scripture talks about this is it this is the stuff that Scripture talks about salvation is for everyone guess what it is for you to church you are here on purpose you are here on appointment you are here by assignment and today if you are under my voice every single one of you have the same opportunity as the other if I could get everybody to stand in the room with me I believe that God wants to do something amazing in this room I believe that what he has for every single one of us is something supernatural maybe you're in here and you say man that's me I need to give my life to the Lord for the very first time today maybe you say hey I haven't given my life to the Lord in a very long time I used to walk with the Lord but man my life has not measured to that I have not been walking in who God has called me to be hey if that's you and you want to have a personal relationship with Jesus if that's you today and you say hey I sign me up I want to do that I want to have a personal relationship with God could I just get you to slide up your hand real quick We want to pray with you. Come on. I see, I see hands all over the room. Hey, if you split up your hand, can I get you to come down here real quick to the altar? Hey, could we just get you to come down here real quick? We just want to pray with you. If that was you slip up. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. It's okay. It's okay. Come on. Come on. We're going to, we're going to pray with you. We want to get you hooked up.

We want to get you signed up. We want to pray with you, get you connected to what God is doing in the room. Come on. I just want us to begin to declare something over our families, something over our, our people, something over what God is getting ready to do in this room. Hey, if you are here and you believe that God wants to do something supernatural in your life and you believe that the power of Jesus in the mighty name of Jesus can shift your circumstances, I want you to begin to worship. I want you to begin to speak out. I want you to begin to declare over every situation in your life. If that's you, I want you to come out and just feel these alters. Come on. Let's just begin to believe God. Come on. You're here Lord. You have it God. Come on, pack it up. You can come on down here to the front. We believe you God. I pray, calling on the power of heaven. I proclaim, every weapon formed against me. But I pray, in the mighty name of Jesus. My daughter is bound to die. The enemy has no right to come. Near my family. No, no peace can ever undo that. No matter the circumstance. The cross can steer my destiny. Come on church. In the mighty name of Jesus.
