Indian Christmas Service
Pastor Chris preaches a Christmas message to the Indian Community at Life Fellowship. Very Interesting..
and we'll see you next time. Hello, men and women. Such a blessing and an honor to once again be able to come to you on the Pando app from Life Fellowship Church here in McKinney, Texas. Man, we love you guys. You are part of our church family. We're so grateful for all of you who who choose to watch us. Um I the last time I counted. Um and and what a blessing that tablet is um to be able to fill yourself up with uh life with God's word, with commentaries and teachings and and worship. Um man, we're so grateful for it and it's uh I wish I had it when I was locked up. My name is Logan Williams. My TDC number is 1490218. Um I got four numbers after that. It was just round and round and round in the cycle. I know many of you can relate to that and I'm here to tell you, man, anything is possible with God. If you can just get all in with him, man,
he can flip the whole thing to the good and as bad as it may have seemed, as dark as it may have seemed, it seems to be that much exponentially better. So, I know many of you might be thinking, gosh, I've just done so much. It's just so bad. Like I'm so hopeless. Um it's almost a good thing. When you get connected to Christ, when he gets a hold of you, he like flips it to the good and as bad as it was, it's that much to the good. That's how it's been in my life. But we gotta get all in and we gotta be um as Paul likes to say when he writes his letters to the church, he says, I'm Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ. He's saying I'm all in. And it's interesting because that word that's translated slave is not like a slave like you would think of when you think of the word slave like of uh just hatred and and bitterness and being forced to do what what that word actually means in the
Greek is. Um God, you've given me your all. So, I'm gonna give you my all. You bankrupted heaven. You sent your son. You sent everything that you have for me. So, I'm gonna give you everything that I have for you. I don't care what that means. You know, whether it's um my finances, my job, my, you know, how much time I'm doing, my life is yours. I'm a slave to you. I'm all in. Um that is the key to the whole thing because all those times I was locked up and those nine and a half years I did in and out of prison. Yeah, I would go to church and I would check the boxes and I would get baptized and I would um do the classes and do the Kairos and do the this and do that but I wasn't all in in my hearts and see God looks at our hearts. It doesn't matter what we do on the outside. What are we? Have you just had enough man? And can you just say God I submit. I'm give up like my life is yours. That is the key
to the whole thing and then he'll start um communicating with you in whatever way that he communicates and he'll bring up some things that he wants you to lay down and some of those things are difficult to lay down. I had to lay down. I had to give away a bunch of drugs and walk out of a hotel room. I had knowing in my mind that I'm gonna relapse and get back on drugs. What am I doing? Why am I giving all this away? Um I just did it anyway because I heard from God. I had to lay down sexual sin which is something I never even considered doing until I heard from God. I didn't think anyone really ever did that but I did that. Um I started tithing because he brought to my attention that that money was an idol in my life and I had to continue to look at myself and be transparent with men in my life practicing James 516 that we confess our sins to one another um and pray for one
another that we may be healed. Uh you have to have those people in your life and if you don't have those people in your life where you're at, pray for those people. God will bring someone in your path that you can do this walk with. We're never meant to do this walk alone. It's always meant to be in community because iron sharpens iron. I can't sharpen myself. I need another man to to look into my life and tell me the truth and not care about my feelings but care about my salvation and care about my life. Um hey you can tell your friends and family don't make fun of my phone case. It's a long story but they can download the same Pando app on their phone. They can watch the same things that you guys are watching. Um and you can talk about it when you talk to each other on the phone or when you message each other or whatever you can do this walk with your family even though you're
incarcerated. Don't buy into the lie that I can't leave my family even though I'm here. That's It's incorrect. You can do that. Have your kids watch the same messages. Ask them questions like, hey, would the Holy Spirit speak to you in that message? It's so cool to be able to do that. I was reading Proverbs 16 because it's the 16th day of the month. And there's two verses in there that I wanted to bring to your attention. One is because they're so key. And one is verse 25 that says, excuse me, verse 23 says, "'Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life.'" Okay, it's talking about the words that we speak. Like words create worlds. Like this whole galaxy was created with words. And the words that we speak to other people create. They can create negativity. They can create positivity. But the words that we speak are very important and they can hurt people or they can build people up. They can hurt you or they can build you up. Your own words. So I want you to pay attention to the words that you're speaking.
And then down in verse 25, it says, there's a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. And so that tells me that, yeah, I've got ideas and I got things that I think I wanna do. And I got things that I think are important. But sometimes those things are really selfish. Those things are really about me. Those things are really gonna end in death. And I need to attune my mind. I need to fix my thoughts on what God thinks. I need to always be asking that question in every circumstance. Instead of saying, what do I think? What do I feel? What do I wanna get out of this situation? How can I control this situation? I need to be thinking in every single situation in my life. Hey God, what do you think about this? What are your thoughts? God, I want you to control this situation. Because there is a way that seems right to me in my own mind, but it ends in death. And a lot of times I can't see that. Again, unless I have another person in my life or unless God, if I'm not in the word praying and God can speak to me. If you want God to speak to you, just pick up Psalms and start reading
and he'll speak to you. Pick up his word and start reading, he'll speak to you. But I want to really focus your attention on the words you speak and the thoughts that you're thinking. And are there some thoughts? Are there some belief systems? Are there some ways of thinking that you're in right now that could lead to death, that could lead to selfishness? It may not seem that way on the surface, but Paul says in Romans 8 that the mindset on the flesh is death and the mindset on the spirit is life and peace. So what is my mindset on? What am I thinking about? Is it more about me and what I can get and what I need or is it more about the spirit? And usually things of the spirit are, how can I get out of myself to give to someone else or to help someone else out? That's the way that leads to life and peace. And I know you have lots of thoughts right now because in the situation that you're at, you're doing a lot of thinking. And so when I was there, I remember sometimes I would think about, hey man, how I can go do my little hustle differently or do things better or maybe talk to some other guys that are doing some other things. How I can get a education in crime and identity fraud or how to do this hustle better
or I can think about the things of God. How am I going to be able to change my life? How am I gonna be able to walk this out differently? How am I gonna be able to get all in with him like Logan's talking about? Because I'm telling you, you can do it. I was a drug addict for 25 years, shot meth, drink G, sold everything, lived in hotels, hit licks, all that stuff, all over Dallas. And for 25 years, I did that, man, and I couldn't stop. And I knew I was gonna end up there again, but it didn't stop me. And so if you don't start thinking about this now asking for God's help, hey man, how can I do this different? How can I get all in with you? Then I don't know when it's gonna happen, but now is the time. I don't care what stage of your journey you're in. Maybe you just got to county jail or maybe you've been in prison for 10 years and you're about to come up for parole, but now is the time to start thinking about how can I get all in with you? And man, when he was banging on me about it, man, Yeah, he was asking me to do some hard things, start tithing, lay down sexual sin. I'm like, gosh, man, like, it's a lot, you know? But then the thought came, that impression from him came, hey man, what do you think life could look like if you just got all the way in with me one time?
Because you've never done it. You've been to church, you've checked the boxes, but you've never gotten all in with me. What could happen in your life? And it was that thought that was like, man, I wonder. And now my life is completely different. I have a life that I never, ever, ever would have dreamed I would have. If I had a blank canvas on August 11th, 2021, when I pulled that needle out of my arm and walked out of that room and left all that behind, if I had a blank canvas on that day to say, hey man, write your life, any life you want, I would have sincerely, I would have shortchanged myself. I would have just asked for a bunch of money and a house and a business or something like that. I would have no purpose. I would have no calling. I would have, the life I have today is better than any life I could have dreamed up because I didn't think any of this was possible. And God has a life for you that you don't even believe is possible, but he's just waiting for your yes. He's just waiting for you to get all in. Father, I just lift up these men and women who are watching in the different situations and scenarios that they're in, God, I know that you can meet them right where they're at. And I pray, God, that you would do that. I know that an honest prayer from any one of them
to say, God, I don't know how, and I don't know where, and I don't know when, and I'd have no idea how to, but I wanna be all in with you. Would you give me the wisdom of how I do that? God, I know you'll answer that prayer. I know you'll answer that prayer. Why wouldn't you answer that prayer? And so, God, I pray for these men and women. I pray that conviction would land on them and that right here, right now, in this moment, they would make that decision to get all in. What could life look like if they just got all in just one time? And so, God, I pray for them. I pray that you would bless them. I pray that you would give them revelation and the knowledge of Christ and that you would draw them to you and that you would answer that prayer. I pray that many of them would pray that prayer, that sincere prayer from their heart, and that you would answer it, God, and that their life could be better than any that they could draw on a canvas. And so, God, we thank you. We give you all the praise and glory. You're awesome, you're amazing, and we just love you so much. In Jesus' name, amen. All right, guys.

Did we get that right? All right. What do you say? Han Hao. All right. Welcome, welcome. Did we miss any language? Arabic? Who is here from Arabic? Anyone here that we missed? Did we miss anybody? All right. Awesome. We will go to the next one. We are going to try to get a little bit of fun, have a little bit of fun. We are going to start with one game. Who is ready to play? All right. All right. So all through life, we always try to find the difference between fact and fiction. All right. So we are going to try to see if you got that skill. So we are going to play. Two truths and a lie. Okay. Now as the name of the game suggests, we are going to read three facts. Two of them will be true. One of them is going to be a lie. And your job is to find out which one is the lie. Got it? Simple as that. All right. Let's start with the first set of facts.
The fact number one. Christmas lights are often used to symbolize Jesus as the light of the world. Fact number two. Candles were commonly used on Christmas trees before electric lights became available. Fact number three. The first outdoor Christmas lights were commonly used on church buildings before homes adopted them. So now, fact number one or A, how many of you think that's a lie? You can shout it out. How many people? A is a lie? All right. How about those who think B is a lie? Candles were used on Christmas trees. Okay. Looks like we have a lot of Bs. How about C? C? All right. That's quite a few. Do you want to let them know what the correct answer is? So you all finalized your answers. Let's see what that was. Yes. Yeah? Yes. It wasn't actually the churches that started doing it. It was the people who first started doing it. And then the church thought,
oh, that's good. We'll put it on the church too. So that's how it came about. All right. Next one. All right. We have another set of facts. The second set. Fact number one. Jesus is mentioned by non-Christian historians from the first century. Fact number two. The first printed Bible was written in Latin, not Hebrew or Greek. Fact number three. Jesus was born in the Middle East, not Europe. Now how many of you think fact one or A is a lie? All right. Okay. I see one hand or a couple of hands. Fact number two. How many of you think that is a lie? Okay. There's more for this. What about number three? Jesus was born in the Middle East. Is that a lie and not in Europe? Okay. We have quite a few of little hands. Up. Do you want to let them know what's the right answer? All right. Do you want to check the final answer? The lie here was this. Yes. Yep. The other fact number A and C are both true. Yes. All right.
So with this, we'll transition to another game. All right. Shall we try one more game? All right. Yeah. All right. Good for that. All right. All right. So this one, it's going to be a very simple game. Maybe you have seen this in... Yeah. We have seen this in many times, in many places. It's either called Wheel of Fortune or Hangman. You just guess the letters and make the word. All right. The theme for today is Light of the World. So the words that you're going to have are all related to light. Okay. So we're going to flash the words for you. So you don't have to... We work hard, we came here to relax, we don't want you to struggle. So we'll show some words, take a look at them, and then the questions may be from those words, all right? So I'm gonna flash. So it'll be on for about 10 seconds, so take a look at those words. Yeah, just try to memorize them if you could. Is it 10 seconds? Yeah, that's enough. All right, five seconds, that's enough.
So for this game, we want some team spirit, okay? It's going to be a bit more competitive. So let's say this is the middle, and this is team one to our left, and this is team two to our right, all right? Can we get a shout out from all team one? Team one, yeah! Okay, team two, I think you can be louder than that. All right, all right, you are ready. Okay, so the way it'll work is this, all right? So you have a circuit, you're gonna complete it. So the first one is gonna be just a four-letter word, very easy, guess the letter, and then if you can guess the word, great. If you get the letter right, you get one point. If you guess the whole word, you get five points, all right? We'll go a few rounds, see how the time goes, and we'll stop there, okay? Can we have a representative from each team to shout out the letter? Yeah, somebody from the center here, collaborate with everybody, so you're still competing, but still collaborating, all right? So one person from the center will... And if you all can pick somebody from your team, do you want to be the one to shout out the letter? Okay, all right, so everybody give the answer to her. Yeah, so you all can give your answer, but she will finally, whatever letter she calls out, is going to be the one.
Okay? And who is it from that side? All right, so this in the middle, we'll split here, from here to here is team A, that is team B. Got it? All right, now let's get started. So we have a four-letter word, it's an easy word. Who wants to guess a letter, or just take a guess at the whole word? Wanna... So we'll start from team one. Charles, you want to do it? Amal, all right. All right, so what letter do you want to guess on team A? Sorry? Lamp? Are you guessing the whole word? You might get a negative point if it's completely wrong. Hey. Is your team okay with it? Is the team okay with it? Glow? Wanna try glow? If it's not right, you missed the term. Sure? Lock kar diya jaye. All right, lock. Sorry, that was wrong. Sorry. All right, team two.
Do you want to go with a letter? I guess a letter, and then you can guess the word. Guess the letter? Letter A? All right, let's try that. Oh, it is there. That second word, guess the word now? Okay, now we move on to the other team. No, no, they have to guess the word. Yeah. Lamp? All right, let's try that. Yes, it is there. All right. You got six points. All right. So, see. So, if you see the strategy, it's better to guess the letter and then the word, because you get a point for the letter too. So, they got six points. All right? All right, now that we start with the A team, we'll go to the B team. We'll start with this one. We're short of time, so probably this would be the last word. Okay. All right?
So, you have a letter? I think you move on to the clue. Next word. All right, that's also a four-letter word. Do we need A? All right, let's try that. Oh, there it is. So, now we get a chance to solve the word. Star? No. Star? Okay, let's try that. Oh, it isn't. That's not the one. Sorry. Okay, team. What is that? Yeah, no. Do you wanna guess the letter? B? B? Agree? B? All right. Or just the letter B? Oh, yeah. And we wanted to end this segment by handing out some gift cards, which is always fun. And we've randomly picked out names from, you know, all our friends who are here tonight. But the names have something in common. So there will be a gift card at the very end for one of you who can guess what is that
common link. Yeah. What is that? In the names. Yeah. Okay. So do we have Surya here? Surya. Please stand up. All right. He gets a gift card. Please stand up. Ariel. Yeah. All right. He gets a gift card. Congratulations. All right. Do we have Prakash? Prakash. Prakash. All right. There. All right. Come on over. Give a hand for Prakash. All right. Do we have Aratrika? Oh, there she is. Right there.
Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Aratrika. Right there. Aratrika. Yeah. Let's find all the names. What about Archisu? Archisu? Archisu. No? Tejas? Tejas. Divya? Oh, there is Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya. Divya.
Divya. How about Deep? Adit? Do we have Adit? Adit. Right there. Right there. Alright. The kid's got the coolest names. Do we have Arun? Oh, there. Are y'all from the same family? Yes. That was it. If somebody can tell me what the pattern or a common thing was across all the names, you'll get a gift card. Who wants to guess? You want to guess first? What is it? Light. Yes. They all had the common thing that the names all have something related to light, which is the theme for the day. So, he gets a gift card. Did he have the same thing? Yes. Alright. Ariel. A gift card for her, too. Did somebody else have that answer?
I saw somebody else also. I think someone else answered, too. Yeah. What, sir? Yeah. Give her. That girl is waiting. You need to be honest in the house of God. Yeah, Ariel. Over there. Ariel. Ariel. We're going into another important sect of this evening. It's going to be a production from our own LF team here. The skit talks about it's a true life story. Some of you have gone through failures, some of you have gone through disappointments. Some of you have gone through things that you expected to happen but it didn't. Many of us during this kind of joyful time can say, Hey, I'm not in a mood to celebrate or I'm not in a situation where I could be a cheer. But everybody goes through those phases. And this is one life story, a true life story that we wanted to bring it to you this evening. And this talks about never alone. And everybody over here, you know, feels somewhat, you know, hey, there's no one beside me.
There's no one understands me. And this story talks about, you know, amidst your failures, amidst your situations, there is someone who is so near to you and he says you are never alone. Listen to this production from our very own. Thank you. Tonight we begin a story, not of distant wonders or grand heroes, but of the weight we all carry and the light we quietly hope will meet us somewhere along the way. Because life has a way of placing a load on our shoulders. Dreams that demand more than we expected. Distances that stretch longer than the flights we take. And moments where even success feels strangely hollow. This story starts in a small town with a son holding not just his father's dreams, but the burden of becoming something more. But the burden of becoming something more. His journey takes him far across borders, expectations and the limits he thought he had. It moves through loss, pressure, lonely nights and hopes whispered into the silence. The kind that feel too soft to survive the noise of life. But somewhere in that silence, something shifts. Not a ritual, not a miracle. Just a brush with truth. A flicker of light in the middle of the load he carries. A presence that doesn't announce itself, but somehow steadies the ground beneath his feet. As his story unfolds, don't just see his path. Feel for the echo in your own story. Because whether you're lifting a dream, missing home, carrying loss, or simply looking for a little peace, know this, the light that found him does not choose favorites. And the load you carry is not meant to be carried alone. In a small farming town, mornings began before the sun, with stubborn cows, dusty paths, and a father who wanted something better for his son. so hey hey come on move move move girls come on come on girls move come on come on come on come on come on hey oh no not that shirt this is my good shirt behave girls

Doesn't life feel like that sometimes? He chased the dream his father placed in his heart, carrying the burden to finish what they began together once upon a time. But in the new land, reality hit first. Bills, no backing, odd jobs, repeating like a frustrating loop. And though the dream felt close, he felt completely unsettled. Have you tried the sambar yet? Not yet, but this dosa looks incredible.
Hello? Bro, what do you mean hello? We're on the roof, bro. Sunset, pizza, fresh air. Are you coming or not? We're gonna file a missing report if you bail again, bro. Dude, I'm at work. If I leave early, I don't get paid. If I don't get paid, I don't stay. If I don't stay, this whole thing collapses. So guys, rain check this time. I'm so sorry. Man, you can't be on this car forever. I just need one break, man. One internship. One yes. Okay, Mr. Programmer. We get it. We're cheering for you. Don't be too hard on yourself, though. Thanks, guys. Love you. I gotta go now. I gotta go. Toonan, hurry up. Yes, chef. Right away. While his friends chased sunsets, he chased hours on a time card. Nothing dramatic.
Just survival. The weight wasn't just on his back anymore. It had settled deep inside him. Heavy and constant. And just when he felt near the edge, an interview appeared on the horizon. The one lifeline that he couldn't afford to lose. Hello, Chotu. Hey, Ma. Oh, no. You sound so tired, baby. Just work, Ma. Just work. Big interview today. If it lands, I can send more and we'll be okay. I'm really rooting for this interview. You have done even harder things than this before. Do your best. Call me after. Love you, Chotu. I will, Ma. I will. Bye. Bye. Okay, it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. I'm not gonna freeze. And I'm just gonna talk like a normal person.
I know everything. I've studied it. Right? Okay. I'm not gonna freeze. I'm not gonna freeze. He walked in feeling like everyone else belonged more than he did. It was his lifeline. But the lure on his mind and the quiet war within him kept his voice from rising when it mattered the most. He was a man of his word. He was a man of his word. He was a man of his word. He was a man of his word. He was a man of his word. He was a man of his word. Alright, Sujith. Take a breath. Why don't we start simple? Tell me a little about yourself and what you've been working on. Sure, sure. I'm a grad student focusing on data and data. software. I work nights at a restaurant to cover my tuition. I like solving problems that actually matters and not just passing exams. Most of my projects are in Java and Python, small apps, automation scripts, that kind of thing. Okay, good. When you say Java, what do you actually like about the language? I like that it's structured, it's object-oriented, so it keeps things organized. It forces me to think in terms of reusable pieces. Since you mentioned object-oriented, walk me through the main pillars.
Alright, so there's encapsulation and inheritance, then there's polymorphism, and the fourth one I believe is abstraction. Enough of technical questions. Tell me, why should I hire you? Yes sir, because I know sir, what it costs to be here. I figured things out on my own and I did not have any backup plan. I am a really fast learner and I'm used to be under pressure. If you give me a chance, I promise I'm not going to coast with it. I will give my hundred percent. Alright Sujith, we'll get back to you. Thank you. All right, Ranjith, what do you think about the candidate? Go or no go? I don't think he can handle the pressure. I'm rejecting him. You know that feeling, when your whole future seems to hang on one moment and you're almost afraid to take the next step. It was that same situation, when one day, an email appeared in his inbox. Oh, new email. New email from TechCore. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Dear candidate, we are unable to move forward. This means no internship. Same bills, same rent. I don't even have money to get groceries this month. How am I gonna buy mom's new medicine? Everything's gonna collapse. I can't handle this anymore. How am I gonna do this? How am I gonna do this again? I have no idea. And just like that, everything he had been holding on to stopped. For him, it felt like the road simply ended there. Sometimes life can feel like you're all alone, like nobody cares and the tunnel you're in has no light at all. But while he carried that weight and pain in silence, someone had been watching quietly. Helped in arrive as a job offer, but it came as a person who truly showed up. This brings us to the core concept of today, which is how these systems interact with diverse populations. Hey, you have been in the chair since the last class. Have you eaten anything? Coffee counts, right? No. Here, I brought extra sandwich and fruit.
Take it before I start force feeding you. You really don't have to. I know I don't. But you look like you're running on fumes. Just let me be nice. Don't argue. This is really good. Thank you. Seriously. This is really good. You are welcome. I see you hustling all the time. Nobody should be doing this alone. That too with an empty stomach. It feels like if I slow down, everything will fall apart. Or, maybe if you never slow down, it does. For now, just eat. She didn't lecture or try to fix him. She simply cared. Quietly, consistently. And for the first time, in a long while, he felt like he mattered. Just when his weight felt heavier, and he was sure that nobody noticed, she saw him again. Same backpack, same chair. Hey, how are you doing today? Honestly, really bad. Feels like I'm at the bottom of the pit. Talk to me. I've tried everything. Studied all night. Failed every mock call. Still failed the interview. I've got past due credit card bills. Rent? It's two months behind.
There's basically no food at the apartment. And I can't even afford my mom's medicine. You know, I'm just tired. I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore. Don't worry. You're carrying all that. You're not crazy for feeling worn out. Life can be brutal. I can't fix everything. But I can make sure you're not skipping meals. For now, let me help with food. Okay? You've already done so much. Then, let me do a little more. What are you doing this Sunday morning? Up for free food? Free food? My church is doing a young adult spotlight. Big lunch. People your age. Chill. No pressure. Just sit in the back with me. Eat. Breathe. That's it. Church? Huh. Just free food and some good people. Say less. Free food is the magic word. I'll come. Deal. Back row. I'll save your seat. He didn't feel. But he didn't realize. His heart was stepping towards a doorway. He didn't know the songs. He didn't know the routine. He just knew he was tired. Maybe you're here tonight. Feeling tired. Worried.
Or far from home. You smile to people. You still don't see it, but inside you are running on empty. That sounded very personal. How did this stranger know everything that he was going through? Every word he spoke sounded like it was meant for him. Jesus sees that. He sees you, not as a problem to solve, but as someone he dearly loves. He's just saying, Come, come, rest my child. You don't have to carry this load all by yourself. Jesus, if you're actually real, please help me. I can't do this alone. Please help me, Jesus. Please. It wasn't a fancy prayer, just a tired heart whispering the truth. But that's all Jesus ever needs. And when he said that, heaven moved. I have to close this position today, as this is the last one out of 20 open. We spent too many hours in recruiting itself. And I am getting lots of pressure from my boss. Just pick someone. So, since you need to close the position, we will hire that nervous rejected candidate.
Great, I'm with you. Let's call him now. Just a few days after that broken whisper to Jesus, an email showed up, and then a call from an unknown number. What first felt like a full stop, Jesus had quietly turned into a comma. The same company that first said no, was now reaching out to him again. Hello. This is Ranjit, hiring manager from Techcore. Do you have a couple of minutes? Hello, Mr. Ranjit. Just give me a second, please. Jesus, if you're actually real, please help me. Hey, hello Mr. Ranjit. Yes, how can I help you? Are you still interested in the internship if we reconsider? Yes sir, I'm really interested in this internship. Sounds good. I'll be in touch with you. Thank you so much, Jesus, that you have helped me. That day at church, pastor said that you're going to take the load away, and you actually did. Whoa, you took the biggest load off of my heart. I actually believe in you now, Jesus. Thank you so much. Now I know if I have any problem, I'm just going to surrender to you,
and I'm just going to believe in you, and I'm just going to keep working hard. I know you will take care of it. I love you. shall reign forevermore. Noel, Noel, come and see what God hath done. Noel, Noel, the story of amazing love, the light of the world. Years passed. Work grew, and so did life. God didn't just flip a moment. He used it to redirect the entire story. He also brought Him a wife that shared His faith. And He learned something true for all of us here today. As humans, life only makes sense when we look back. But with Jesus, we can trust what lies ahead as well. You've got a serious face on. What's going on? Just thinking about how close I was to quitting everything. The cows, the letter, that rejection email, sitting in the back of that church, not sure why I was even there. And now? Now I can see it. God's fingerprint in all of it. Through Stephanie's kindness, through that invite, through every closed door that pushed me to the right one. You're right. That's what He does.
You remember this? Even though I walked through the darkish valley, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Hey, you know my now. Stop carrying your burden. Just give it to Him. He cares for you. Those used to sound like nice poetry. Now it's my life. He didn't just get me through. He led me. He multiplied what I never thought I would have, including you. I'm so grateful we get to walk this together. Never alone. Not anymore. Hey, this is not just a skit. This is our real story. I was that nervous guy in the interview. My name is Ranjith. I came from a village that has no electricity. I have faced so many rejections in my life. Honestly, I'm on the verge of quitting everything. I felt hopeless, helpless. Then, I turned into Jesus. He didn't just give me a job I needed. He gave me hope that stood steady even in the middle of chaos. He replaced my fear with a faith. Whenever I am down, you know what I do?
Whenever I am out of my self-confidence, you know what I do? I tap into Jesus' confidence. You know why? That never fails me and you. Hey, everyone. My name is Sujit. I hope you all enjoyed the play. Thank you so much. As Ranjith rightly said, this is not just a story. This was my and Ranjith's actual life. We've been through a lot of suffering. When I lost my early father, I lost my peace. Depression really took a hold of my life. In that brokenness, I prayed, Jesus, if you're real, please show yourself to me. When I walked into that church with my professor Stephanie that you saw in the play, I felt a peace that I never had felt since I lost my dad. That's when I realized that even though I lost my early father, I gained a heavenly father. Trust me, coming from a non-Christian background, it took me a minute to understand that. But it's okay. You can take your time. Even when I didn't know Jesus, He already knew me. He was reaching out for me. I'm just going to pray for you guys that may Jesus show you the right way.
May He be with you. May He shine His face on you. Thank you so much for watching this gift. Now the next event. You The world waits for a miracle, the heart longs for a little bit of hope, oh come, oh come Emmanuel The child prays for peace on earth and she's calling out from a sea of hurt, oh come, oh come Emmanuel And can you hear the angels singing? Glory to the light of the world Glory, the light of the world is here Glory, glory to the light of the world Glory, glory to the light of the world Behold your King, behold Messiah, Emmanuel, Emmanuel The world waits for a miracle, the heart longs for a little bit of hope, oh come, oh come Emmanuel Alright, you all, can you hear me? Alright, can you hear me? Hello? Yeah. So did you all enjoy the play and the dance? Alright. I'm here to, um, um, it is my honor to introduce the pastor of our church, uh, Pastor Chris Lindbergh to, uh, go over a little bit of history. Uh, he took, he actually took over this church in 2010 and since then has grown the church to over 3500 people. He preaches on every Sunday on topics that affect the everyday lives of the church. He has created systems to guide the young, old, and everyone in between through so many, uh, groups that help people with any kind of problem. And also, he has built a church that welcomes all people and integrates everyone to feel that they belong, just as you saw just now. Uh, he's married to Pastor Tatum and has two children, Blakely and Nash, and he's also a grandfather to Salem. And, apart from that, for me personally, he's a role model, a man who walks the talk, and a brother to emulate. Please welcome, uh, my brother from another mother, our leader in another color, Pastor Chris Lindbergh. Oh, I love you, Moses. Wow, what an incredible night we've had already, eh? Unbelievable. I am so glad every one of you are here tonight. I want to welcome you, uh, as the pastor of this church to this very, very special evening. And it is an honor to have every single one of you here as our guests.
You know, it was about five or six years ago now that God placed a deep love in my heart for the people of Southeast Asia. Like, a massive love in my heart. And been to India now three times, planning on going back a fourth time. And I'll just tell you what, the people of India and Southeast Asia are the most kind, generous, welcoming, classy, good-looking. Come on, everybody, right? Like, my heart has been captured. And I am so honored that you are, that you're here tonight. In fact, my wife and I were in Tanai here just this past year. I took a picture. in uh chennai i brought a picture with me here here we are at the itc grand chiola how many of you all have ever been there in in chennai yeah yeah how many of you all love some butter chicken from the grand chiola hallelujah well i'm so glad that you all are are here tonight you know at the end of the service it would be my honor to be able to pray for those of you that would like prayer i know that there are um those right now in the marketplace that maybe this year you've lost a job with ai and different downsizing and what's happened in the economy and maybe you're just believing god for a miracle you need something maybe maybe for you there's something happening in your marriage and you just need you need a miracle in your marriage maybe it's for your kids maybe maybe you've been been asking and saying hey god i i need something special for my children so that they can advance and become distinguished in their education or maybe for you it's in a physical body you know it's amazing how we have talked to jesus and we have seen the most unbelievable miracles happen in this place there have been people that have not been able to give they to conceive and have children and we've come together we've put our hands and we've asked the lord and god has performed a miracle and nine months later they walk home with a little baby we've had people that have been healed of stage four cancer in fact there was one lady i think in particular they opened her up there was over 300 lesions on the inside of all of her organs so the doctor sewed her back up and said you are so far progressed we cannot offer you chemotherapy we cannot offer you radiation we're going to give you about three months left to live and we came together when we prayed and god did a miracle and eradicated all of that cancer out of her to the point that she went back two and a half months later the doctors checked him
checked this lady out and said we can't find anything she went to another doctor he found the same thing went to another one another one another one to eight different doctors all of them have all the scans and said you are cancer free we've never seen anything like this before and i'm just telling you that because we serve a god that loves to show his goodness and his grace to the people that he loves and that's you that really is you and so tonight after the service is done we would love the opportunity to pray for you but tonight you have watched an incredible true story a story of how when you meet jesus for the very first time he changes your life and here's what's amazing about that it is not a one-time instance there have been there are billions of people that are on the earth today that have encountered that same light and there have been billions throughout the centuries that have experienced that and at the center of that story is the theme of tonight it's something that jesus spoke it's in the middle of who he is he said this he said i am the light of the world he didn't say that he has a light he didn't say that he is one option of many different lights no he said i am the light and he is the one that reveals god to us he's the one that that light will dispel the darkness the confusion the chaos the shame the darkness that seems to encroach in our life it's his light that will transform a life and tonight is that opportunity for every single person that is listening to me and honestly this was this was something that was formed in the heart of god long before this world was ever even created in fact every parent that's here understands this very well every parent that is going out to buy a present for your kids you don't just do it at the last moment you take a lot of effort and time you think about exactly what it is that your child that your spouse really wants it's not some knee-jerk reaction and you would need to know that before you and i were ever even born god had a plan to the for the chaos for the confusion for the darkness that seems to be in all of our lives And he presented to us this light. It's a gift. It's a massive gift. And every gift that you give, that is something that actually really matters, has three qualities to it. And the first thing is this,
a great gift is deeply thought out. So when my wife and I were dating, and she is sitting right down here, we've been married 26 years. And when we were dating, my wife loves jewelry. And she had found this certain little ring that she had liked so much, and it was costly, it was expensive. And so I thought to myself, I'm gonna save up some money, and I'm gonna get this thing for her. And so I went and I bought it secretly. And then I decided I wanna do something really special to be able to give it to her. And so I took her to a park. And her and I would get out of the car, we start walking, and she says, she doesn't know anything's going on. And before you know it, we come up to a little picnic table. And on there, I had it all set up beforehand. There was stemware, and there was china, and there were silverware. And so I told her, I said, hey, baby. Hey, baby, why don't you have a seat? So she sat down, and there was a little bell that was there. I said, why don't you ring that bell? When she rang it, all of a sudden, I had hired a little teenager.
He came running out from behind one of the trees. He came out, he had his little white shirt on and black pants. And he said, ho, ho, I am here to serve you. And he gave us little menus that I had created. And there was only one thing on the menu. It was a Subway sandwich. And so we ordered the Subway sandwich. And so he came on out, and he put that on our plates. And then he went back behind the tree and came back out with a saxophone. So he started playing the saxophone. It was the worst thing that you have ever heard in your whole life. And so we finished our meal, and at the end of it, I looked at Tatum, and I said, hey, I got something for you. And I gave her a gift, and she opened it up, and it was this special jewelry, this little ring that I had gone out of my way to get for her. And I tell that to you today because every good, meaningful gift has been thought out. I'm here to tell you today that Jesus was not some knee-jerk reaction to human failure. Listen, before you ever needed saving, before you were ever at the point like you saw in this story here tonight, that you were at the end of yourself
and you don't know which way to turn and you need a miracle in your life, God had already prepared the gift. He had already prepared the Savior for you. The second thing about every great gift is that a great gift meets our deepest needs. So metaphorically speaking, every religion that is on this planet has a certain set of rules and ways to try to clean and purify your heart so that you can stand in heaven, so that you can go to heaven, so that you can go to this better place. The problem is is that we all have a universal issue. We are separated from God by sin. So metaphorically speaking here, I wanted to just illustrate it like this. So this cylinder here symbolizes your life. And this symbolizes all the good things that you do and this symbolizes the bad things. So a lot of times what we think is, well, if I'm just kind to people and if I do the right thing, I start pouring all this clean, pure things on the inside because I greeted somebody correctly and I helped them correctly. But isn't it true that every so often maybe you say the wrong thing to the wrong person, you do the wrong thing. And I don't know, maybe you fudge your numbers
on your year end reports so that your numbers look better. Maybe you cheat a little bit on your taxes. Maybe you don't open that door like you should have for that person. And then you think, man, I need to compensate that. So I'm gonna pray a little bit more and I'm gonna give a little bit more. I'm I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to be really really really kind to my spouse and my kids I'm going to buy extra presents and And before you know it you think that you have you've added more but no matter how Good of a person you can possibly be It never seems to dilute The chaos in our lives in fact We have a common myth that we believe as humanity Are you ready for this? This is what I call the 51% heaven We believe that if my good deeds outweigh my bad deeds If they can just be 51% better That's all that I need Just I just gotta be And then my life is going to change then heaven will be my home then my future will be bright And here's the thing that you need to understand The only people that are allowed in heaven are perfect people And no matter how much you try to pour good into your life There's still always that deep darkness of who you are. Honestly You can't give enough Serve enough Pray enough
Attend service enough be kind enough To change the bad deeds that are in your life Because your intentions can't clean it up your education certainly can't do it Morality can't do it because sin is not just a mistake. It is a condition of the heart And that's why the bible says in romans that the wages of sin is death But the gift of god look at that. It's eternal life through Jesus In other words there was a day That in my life There were all kinds of sins And no matter how hard I tried to get myself clean I could never do it Until the day that I finally realized that I was never designed to fix all of that It was only by the goodness and the grace and the light of jesus And when jesus comes in he takes whatever that number is on your heart And he hits the clear button And no matter what that number was to you before It's gone never to be remembered again Because a good gift It isn't just deeply thought through it's also something that meets our deepest needs And you're ready for this last one every great gift comes at a great cost So look at my eyes everybody I want you to think about this The value of something is determined by the price that somebody is willing to pay for it So that software that you've created in your mind you think it's worth something But it's only worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it that home that you bought bought is is only worth what somebody else is willing to pay the value of something is determined by
What somebody else is willing to pay for that? and that's why When the god of the universe looked down and he saw you He thought to himself That's somebody of great value He thought man I want to buy them And so he searched throughout the entire universe He went to the deepest parts of the ocean. He overturned mountains to try to find something as valuable As you and he could find nothing Other than his one and only son jesus So he bankrupted heaven And he sent his one and only son the light of the world To this world so that he could take on your sin. He could take on your penalty He could take on the the death that you deserve because of your sin And in exchange he offers you Eternal joyful everlasting Real life And the coolest thing about it all Is that it doesn't cost you a single thing It's the free gift from heaven Everybody look at my eyes Jesus come to make bad people good. He came to make dead people live. And maybe today your emotions feel dead. Maybe maybe your financial future feels dead. Maybe your dreams feel dead. Maybe you've been dealing with all kinds of depression and anxiety and worry and stress. And you just you've got the perfect smile on the outside. But on the inside, you feel like your life is evaporating on the inside. You feel like it's going away. And I'm here to tell you, Jesus didn't just come to make bad people good. He came to make dead people live. And that opportunity is going to be available for every one of us here tonight. So here's what I want to do. I want to ask you all
across this place. I want you to bow your heads. Close your eyes. You saw a story tonight depicted in a drama. A real story of life change. You've heard a message tonight to let you know that you are not alone. That you are valuable. This whole night was orchestrated just for you. You are that special to God. And he sees you. He sees your pain. He's heard your cries. He will never waste your pain. He will never waste your tears. Tonight is your moment to take a life that matters so much. And to place it into his hands. And to get out of the rat race of trying to always be good enough. And realize he just wants to step into whatever mess there is that's in your life. And he wants to just, he wants to breathe his goodness. He wants to show his light. Come on, why don't you pray a prayer to Jesus? You say, how do I do that? Well, I just want to be your friend tonight. My name is Chris. I just want to be your friend. Just whisper this underneath your breath. Come on, repeat after me. Just say, Jesus, come on everybody, just say, Jesus, I give you my life. I ask you to take my darkness and my shame and my guilt. I ask you to take my sin and clean me. Make me new. I give you my life. All of it. In the mighty, strong name of Jesus. And everybody, come on, say amen. Amen. I need you to know today that if you cursed God's name, do you not think that he would hear you? How much more if you called on his name and asked for his help? And tonight, if you did, I can promise you this, that Jesus, the Christ, the son of the living God has heard you. Amen, everybody. Amen. Come on, do me a favor. Please all stand to your feet. We're going to end this service tonight by singing a very incredible song. It's a song with a lot of history to it. It's a song called Silent Night. And so no matter where you've come from, no matter what language you speak, the light of the son of the living God is shining upon us tonight. Silent night, holy night. Now all is calm, all is bright, Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child. Holy infant so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace. Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night! Son of God, love's pure light, Radiant beams from Thy holy face, Let the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord at Thy birth. Jesus, Lord at Thy birth. Silent night! Holy night! Shepherds quake at Thy smile, Glory streams from heaven afar, Heav'nly hosts sing Alleluia. Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born. Thank you all. Please be seated. Just blow the candles. Ashes and volunteers will come and collect the candles. Please be seated. I will request the ushers to collect the candles. Just be safe. Collect the candles, please. All right. So hope you are all having a good time here. Yes. Yes. Awesome. Awesome. So we are in the final stage. So we just want to thank everybody who was involved in this.
