Incarcerated Worship Leader sings "Gratitude" in front of Hundreds!
Inside the chapel of Dixon Correctional Institute, we met Travis — a man who serves faithfully, discipling others and leading them closer to Jesus. During worship, we discovered that he has a powerful gift as a worship leader, yet he rarely sings because of the shame he carries from his past.
We encouraged him to lift his voice and lead his community in his favorite song, “Gratitude.” What followed was one of the most powerful moments of worship we’ve ever witnessed inside prison walls — a moment of freedom, healing, and redemption.
