I am a Witness to the Light || Victory Church [Who is Jesus? #4]

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light. He came only as a witness to the light. Who is Jesus? You know, I would just wake up, go to school, and just do the normal things. Just do what I thought I wanted to do. I was a business major in school thinking that that's what I had, and I would go sit in my classes and just suck at my classes. You know, even high school was rough, but college was bad too. First year of college was not it. I would go do the things, do work, and it just left me just empty feeling because I was like, this is not what I want to do with my life. And so, you know, then I would come home and just not participate in family activities, either sit in my room or go out and do stuff I knew I shouldn't have been doing. And it just left me with that lost feeling because I wanted to belong. I wanted to find just a peace in knowing what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, and I just didn't have that peace. December of 2023, I was sitting in my bed, and I was just like, God, like I'm struggling. I don't know what I want to do. I don't know what I want to do with my life. And the Lord was like, what are you passionate about? And I was like, it's not school. And so, you know, I talked to the Lord about that for a lot of time just in that moment in my bed. And the Lord was like, you're passionate about me. Like, take it, take it into account. Like, what do you want to do with that? I was like, God, I don't know. And the Lord was like ministry, like I put ministry on your heart. And so that really just gave me a new sense of like not being lost. It's like, okay, I know what I want to do. There was no more confusion in that moment. And it led me to knowing what I wanted to do with my life and knowing what I wanted to pursue. It's just such a good feeling knowing not only what I want to do with my life, but knowing that the Lord has put that in my life for a purpose and on purpose and knowing that He's walking with me in it each and every day. Truly, I would just say because I felt lost for so long, I feel found out because I know I always know that the Lord saw me. But knowing now

even more that He sees me is, it's just amazing. And knowing that like my parents have my back, my friends all around me are there with me, it makes me just seen by not only the Lord, but others as well. Someone who saved me and just pulled me out of darkness. Someone who pulled me out of darkness, brought me into the light, and just gave me a new sense of like belonging, a new sense of purpose, showed me what I wanted to do, and has really just directed my path. Just pursue God, chase after the Lord, and just don't let anything stop you. Don't let your friend's opinion stop you. Don't let your family's opinion stop you. Don't let your co-workers stop you.
