I've been doing a message of teaching on the family. Last week we had water baptism. Incredible, 104 people followed Jesus Christ in water baptism last week. Just celebrate what Jesus is doing in their life. But last week, two weeks ago, I taught to men, to husbands, and I talked about when love leads a family. And if you weren't here, you need to listen to it. Get the whole context of it. But the reason we call this House Rules, it's really important. Because every game has rules. And you always have that one family member at Christmas that says, Hey, just for fun, let's play with no rules, let's just make up our own rules as we go. And everybody goes, Yeah, cool, we do what we want, no boundaries, do whatever you feel, no restrictions. And then before you know it, there's a food fight, everybody's angry, and everybody wants to go home and forget even eating turkey
because you're just done with everybody. The fun stops. And the thing about rules, friends, is this. People say, Why rules? Well, first of all, if you play games that way, somebody's going to get their feelings hurt. The only person that ends up winning is the person who's the loudest in the family. People get hurt. And now chaos ensues. And the reason why there are rules in a game is not to ruin the game, right? When the creator created the game, he put rules there not to ruin the game, but to make the game work. If you don't follow the rules that the creator made, nobody wins, everybody's frustrated. But when you have rules, what does it do? It creates fairness. It protects all the players. It even defines the roles of the players. And it actually makes winning really meaningful. Well, guess what? The same thing applies in your personal life or your married life. Every era of your life, God gives us instructions not to ruin our life, but to actually give your life some meaning and purpose you never thought could ever be there before. The same goes for family, and the same goes for your personal life. This is the reason why I'm going to run my life according to the Word of God, not what Sam Reifgal feels like God wants.
Or I don't want any restrictions today. I don't want nobody bothering me. No. In fact, when I play by God's rules, I know what's expected of me. I actually know how to win in certain things in my life. And guess what? In families, when you play by the house rules that God created, it protects everybody, it protects love, and it actually makes peace possible in life when you follow God's rules. How many of you want to follow God's rules? Amen. So when God, you say, well, that's pretty strong. Yeah, he's the one that created it. You see how messy it is when you try to do that in simple games you play with your family. Can you imagine why there's so much chaos in people's life? Why do they feel the chaos? Why do they feel the frustration, the lack of peace, the lack of unity? It's because when it comes to God, he doesn't give you opinions on how to run your life. Those are not opinions. They are house rules so my life makes meaning and I actually know how to win. That's what God wants to do. Last week, we did this with husbands. We talked when love leads. Go listen to the series. Listen to it. Get caught up. It's just a really great blessing that'll bless your life. I want to throw something else out there.
Some of you may be married here and you say, you know, pastor, I just got to be honest with you. I know right now in our marriage, it's like we're off sync here and we're really struggling with the rules. You know what you really need in life when that happens? You need a coach to help coach you through those things when you're struggling. If you're in this house today or you're watching online and you attend here and you say, we really need help. My wife and I want to make our marriage and our family win and we're going through struggles. You know what you do? You do what you do for your golf game. You do what you do with your kids with soccer. You go find a good coach. If you're going to do it with your soccer game and you're going to do it with your kids football and hockey, and you're going to do it with your hobbies. Don't you think you ought to put a little bit more value in your marriage than in a putter or yeah, you're following me here. And if you really would like some help, say we need a coach. We have marriage coaching and if you're, if you say we want to give ourselves to that, we want to get connected with people that with couples that know how to coach us. There's a QR code behind me and if you'd like more information, just get your phone out and how about everybody just hold up your phone for a second so nobody's embarrassed. There you go. Just everybody hold it up. Okay, there you go. So go ahead and scan that. Just go ahead and scan that. You don't need barriers. better at what you're doing in your marriage. So let that be a real blessing to you.
But today I'm going to talk, two weeks ago I spoke to, to husbands. Today I want to speak if I can to wives from the word of God. And what I've called this message is respect that releases power. It actually empowers your husband. It empowers you as a wife and actually starts releasing the power of God's blessing where you both are actually winning. When we understand the role of wives, the husbands have to lead with love, but God asked ladies wives to respect and out of that respect, it releases power and blessing on them, their husband and their entire family. So I want to give you just Ephesians five. Let's go to that. That's going to be our, just our text here for a moment. But I want you to look at this. What Paul, he's addressing families and the word of God makes it very simple. It really does. And look what he says in Ephesians five, let's start at verse 31. He says, as the scripture says, a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife and the two are united as what one. That's not just talking about the sexual union of the two of them together. This is actually talk. This is talking about spirit emotionally. They are, they're connected as one person. So the problem is in the marriage is, well, he's getting his way and she's getting her way and I'm not getting my way. What you don't understand is you are playing as two when you are actually one. You both win when you follow God's word. You both win. Then look, read on verse 32. Here it is. This is why, this is why God wants our marriages to win.
This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. So this is the reason why Satan fights so many marriages and keeps conflict happening and stress happening in your marriage is because you are the illustration to your unbelieving family, unbelieving coworkers, unbelieving world on. This is how God treats his bride. The way these two are interacting is an illustration to point you toward Jesus. This is why all hell tries to break loose on our marriages, everybody, because you are the illustration. He said, so again, I say, he said, I'm gonna say it again, guys, each man must love his wife as he loves himself. And then his words, we covered that two weeks ago. Here's his words. to wives, and the wife must respect her husband. So when you read the rest of that, and we'll break that down even more and more, here's simply what you have with God's word. Here's what God's rules, house rules, to make a family win, to make you win, is real simple. And it's really simple, but it's incredible. He simply says, here's your roles, simple. Husbands love your wife like Christ loved the church and was willing to die for her. So that means there's sometimes we were sinners. He was right. We were wrong. And yet he laid down his life. Some people would say he lost and the other person won. Sometimes you got to die to yourself in order to minister to your wife and die to your own personal needs. Somebody say, oh me, but he says, husband's love and simple wives. He said, respect your husbands. We're going to break that down a little bit today. And he said, parents, you are to train.
The public school does not train your child. The youth pastor does not train your child. Parents, you train your child in the ways of God. Okay. It's our, that's where it starts. And then he says, children, you obey your parents. It's really easy. Husbands love wives, respect parents, train children, obey, and he makes it very simple on what it takes to win. So ladies today, as I speak to you as wives or potential wives, I want to just say this to you for a second. God is actually showing you the key to your husband's heart for him to succeed, for you to succeed. And actually the family to succeed. He's showing you the key. And I'll tell you this, no one in the family labors under a higher expectation than wives. I'm just going to say it on the outset. I'm going to tell you, no one does more than the wives. I mean, you think about it for she's got to be a wife to her husband. She's got to be mom to the children. She's not going to be mom. She has to be chef. She's not just chef. She's got to be cleaner. She's not just cleaner. Sometimes she has to be money manager. Sometimes she's not money manager. She has to be a paramedic. Then on top of that, she's going to pull off a full time job on top of this job. So there's not a higher expectation that you see that's placed on ladies, but I have great
news for you. Wife great news for every wife and every potential wife. This message is not here to put more pressure on you. In fact, what it's going to do, it's going to take pressure off of you and actually show how to empower your husband and empower yourself to see God's respect through you release the power of blessing. How many want that? That's actually what happens. So I talked about ladies and how men and women are different. So I want to talk a little bit about guys, just for a second, ladies, just as for wives relating to your husband. Husbands have some essential needs that you need to realize are really there. They are there and the church ought to be the place you talk about it. They have needs. So one of the needs men have is companionship. They like playfulness. They like to do things. It doesn't mean you got to go hunting with them and everything, but there's got to be companionship, whatever that is that they love companionship. They want admiration. Another thing they want, it's going to be very honest with you. They like sexual intimacy and they like a lot of it. You got to be kidding me. You have got to be kidding me. So let me remind you of a statement I made in my last message and you need to remember it. I highlighted, I won't do it here, but you need to go back and look at it. Men connect emotionally through physical intimacy. Women connect physically through emotional intimacy and you have to understand that. And when I say that your husband needs sexual intimacy and a lot of it, I'm being serious.
I'm being serious. God created it. It's there. It's okay to say in church, a lot of people's faces are turning red. This is why I like my skin a little darker so you can't tell. You say, well, how much sex should there be in a... in a marriage. How much sex should there be? Now, I heard one marriage counselor, Christian marriage counselor, said it should be several times a week. I've heard that. Dr. Don Litchie, he told us as pastors, he said that there should, at our marriage retreat, he said there should be skin-on-skin, close skin-on-skin contact at least three times a week. It doesn't always have to be, you know, but there has to be that romantic, that skin-on-skin touching. It's not just physical. There's something that chemically actually happens within a body of a man that really, actually, he has to have that. He said at least three times close skin-on-skin contact. I have a rule that maybe might help you. I think it might be make us simplify it. There should be sexual intimacy in the marriage, in my opinion, with at least any day in the week that begins with a T. So Tuesday, Thursday, today, tomorrow, contester day. You get my drift, right? But that is an important part, ladies, because that's actually how he connects emotionally. And if there are issues in that area, have a real honest discussion without getting your feelings hurt. There may be something medically that needs to be in consideration here, someone to talk, coach you with, but this is a need of a man so he connects emotionally. And he connects emotionally through physical intimacy. You connect physically through your emotional intimacy. So you have to have that understanding of each other. But if I could just put down the number one thing that a man needs, a husband needs, the number one thing, you say, if you want to forget it all, what's the number one thing that he has to have? The Bible makes it real clear. He needs respect. Respect. It's the number one thing. Now you say, what does that mean, pastor? Why is that? Why is that important? Well, let me just give you a couple of things that I think will be handy out of the word of God. First of all, when there is respect of a wife toward a husband, respect establishes his role that God has placed him in to lead. Now, how do I do that? How do I show that respect? Colossians, these folks were just learning it all back then, just like a lot
of us are just keep learning it. We never stopped learning this. Look what he said to the church in these Christians. And he said this in Colossians 3, 18, he said, wives, and he's already spoken to us, but he says, but wives submit to your, everybody say your, submit to your husband as is fitting to those who belong to the Lord. So what he's saying, it's understandable when the world doesn't get this, but he says, you and I husbands have an example and wives have an example and you can only understand it when you belong to the Lord, because the way he behaved is the behavior that you should have. So he says, belong to the Lord. And then he says, submit to your husband. Some says your own husband. That does not mean that you have to submit to every male. That's not what it means. He says, submit to your, not every man, because what really submission is really about, if you really studied the word, is submission really is a spiritual issue. It really is a spiritual issue. That's what it's about. The Bible teaches us that it's a spiritual, I mean, just think if you didn't have submission in the military, just think of a commanding officer didn't have submission of his troops. He lose control of his troops. Some of you are school teachers. Just think if you did not have the surrender and the submission of your students to your direction, your classroom, your classroom would be chaos. You look at nations in chaos, look at places and look at States. Look at, look at things that are in chaos. When people don't understand the respect for the office that has been given. That's what happens even in a home when it's lost. So the Bible teaches that it is a spiritual issue when you understand submission, but we put such a twisted, twisted view on submission that everything, Oh, we're just acquiescing everybody. No, no, no, no. Wait a minute. The Bible even teaches that between a husband and wife, there must be mutual submission. Look, look, look what the apostle breaks down in Ephesians chapter five, verse 21. He says, Submit to what? Say that again everybody. One another what? Not out of saying they're winning and I'm losing. He says out of reverence to Jesus Christ. He says, you are not doing it for your husband. You are not doing this for your wife. You are doing it because you belong to Jesus Christ.
He's the one that is showing you how to win and really release power through respect. We understand true submission. When you understand true submission, it's actually going to bring the glory of God in it. You're going to see blessings released in it. It's not just for when you get married so you think I'm just talking to married people. I'm telling those of you that are single, if you don't understand the spiritual issue of submission, you will never see the blessing of God in your life. It's not just about for married folks. It is understanding when God talks about true biblical submission, it actually releases the glory of God through you and the blessings are released in your life. How many of you want that? Amen. Let me give you a kind of a picture of it. When you think of the word submission, when you think of it, it means to place under. That's what submission, to place under. That's what it means to place under. Think of a submarine. It submerges. That means it submerges under something. What this is saying is when you take your mission in life and you put that under God's mission and under your spouse's mission, what actually ends up happening is you serve your spouse's mission, you end up fulfilling your own is what happens. You come under God's submission and under your spouse's. When you help them rise, guess what? You rise with them. Think about that for a moment. This doesn't mean now, when he says about submission, let me just say this, husband, this does not mean that you can force your wife to submit. Girls, great time to say amen.
This is not something you can force on your wife. In fact, she won't get it if you don't get it. If you can't have that submission to Jesus Christ and even have mutual submission, it's going to be very tough to her to see it because she doesn't see it modeled to you and vice versa. This is not something you can force on your wife. Now, when it comes to children, children must obey their parents and they should be disciplined if they do not. Remember that. But wives should not and cannot be forced to submit to their husbands and they should not be disciplined if they refuse to submit. You don't find that in the word at all because submission is not an absolute, okay, my brothers? It's not an absolute, especially if the husband asked his wife to do something that is very clearly biblically wrong. So it's not absolute. This doesn't infer, wives, this does not infer that the wife is inferior to the husband when God uses the word submission. It means to come under, to come under God's mission and the mission of your spouse and to bring them up. And when you bring them up, you rise with it. But what submission really means, it means to adapt. It means to adapt. It doesn't mean you're a doormat. It doesn't mean that you have no opinion or you're afraid to voice your opinion because you're afraid they're going to go off and just react. That's not what this means. Submission is not inferiority just as authority is not superiority. Look at that real good. Doesn't mean that at all. In fact, you can't have submission if you don't have equals.
All right, all right. Let me just back up. How many of you show of hands, I need a show of hands on this because this will really make you spiritual. How many of you in this room want to be like Jesus? Keep it up there for a moment. Cameras get a good picture of that because we're going to show it to people later. Now Jesus Christ is God the son and the Bible teaches, go read it, that God is both co-equal. Listen, that God the son, Jesus Christ is both co-equal and co-eternal with God the father. Read it, study it. In fact, the reason you know it, just go to John 5, 18 when all of a sudden they wanted to kill Jesus because they said, he is saying he is co-equal with God himself. That's because the scripture says that Jesus Christ, the son of God is both co-equal and co-eternal with God the father. Even though he is co-equal. and co-eternal with God the Father, what do we see Jesus doing? We read that Jesus is always willing to submit His will and submerge and adapt to the Father's will so that both can become glorified. How do we know? Listen, you couldn't get saved and be forgiven of your sins if Jesus didn't do that. Heaven would not be your home if Jesus did not submit and come under to lift the will of God, that He could be exalted at the right hand of the Father. He couldn't happen. Look at the Garden of Gethsemane. What does He do when He's saying, Lord, let this cup pass from me? But He said, nevertheless, not my will, Father, but I submerge and I adapt to your will that it's done. Now listen, when you understand that and you begin to submit, how many know God is going to bring glory to both and Jesus is the example of doing that? So, wives, submission is not about what He wants, it's about what God wants. What is God saying? You belong to the Lord and when you give your husband the respect that God wants you to give him by submitting to his leadership, he's not always right, but submitting his
leadership, you bring glory to God and the promises of God and the blessings of God begin to be released as you adapt and submerge to bring both of you up. So respect actually establishes his role that God has placed him in. Now here's second thing that it does. Respect encourages his refining and boy, do we husbands need a lot of refining. Don't say amen. Look, I'm your pastor and you've given me ability to flex and to grow and to learn how to grow. Your husband is growing as a leader, everybody, and he is not perfect. I'm not a perfect pastor. I'm not a perfect husband. I am in a process and I will tell you that your husband is in a process, but respect helps that process occur of refining that God wants to turn him into. Look at Colossians 318. It says, wives submit to your husbands as is fitting. Everybody say fitting. Fitting to those who belong to the Lord. Now the word fitting there is just a really good word for what is right and what is proper. That's what it means. Do what is right and do what is proper. See, if you want strength in your marriage and you want to glorify God, here's the question you got to ask. Here's what you got to ask. What is the respectful thing to do? Before I get ready to speak, before I get ready, so as a married couple, you should ask what is the respectful thing to do. Respect your husband not because of his performance, because God is working on this man, but respect him because God has given you that command. Now ladies, some of you are going to say, well what if what if he's not responding right? I'll cover that in just a second. What you need to understand is it's not so much what you say, it's how we say it. I've discovered that people cannot hear me when I speak if I do not show respect for at least who they are and the office they have. And guys, women cannot hear you if you're speaking in insecure terms about your marriage and your relationship. They can't hear you. When you start talking insecurities about the relationship and how you feel, you start talking about, you know, I think we made a mistake. When you start talking in insecure terms, she's thinking you're going to bolt any minute. And you can't always be critical. She's not going to hear. She's going to shut down. Ladies, it's not what you say. It's sometimes how it's being said. Boy, it's getting real quiet
in here. So you say, well, pastor, what's a good way to speak? I know I would just say this is for anybody. Respect is a big deal in our culture. That what's been lost is number one, speak praise, speak praise, praise, encourages a husband or anybody, but your praise of him when he does something right, encourages him to leave and become the man God wants him to be and that what he really wants to be because he knows he's fallen short. And whenever you can praise, if he picks up his nasty underwear, praise him for it. Do something. Seriously, it will cause them to want to lead and be what God wants to be and they want to be because here's what really is. Respect is like oxygen to his world. You want to suck the life, the air out of your marriage, your relationship? Just stop respecting people. Stop respecting each other. You see it happening all around us. You say, well, what should I do? Treat him like you would treat Jesus. You're going, okay, now there I can draw the line there because he sure... didn't act like Jesus. If you treat him like Jesus, he's going to get there. And be honest with you, anybody can respect somebody that's perfect. That's a no brainer. That's easy. Respect him as he's getting on that journey. Now I'll just say this. It doesn't justify ... Nothing justifies an unloving husband, okay? Nothing justifies an unloving husband, but nothing justifies a disrespectful wife. God is showing you the key to him to help him to become the leader God sees in him that he really wants to be. And respect, start by speaking praise. Come on, what did we do this whole service before I even preached? What did we do? We were praising God. Why did we praise God? Because Psalm 22.3 says, O you who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel. That means God literally inhabits and he dwells in the praise of his people. Well, how many know that we were created in God's image? So what does that mean? If God is attracted to praise and worship, can I tell you, your husband is attracted to the praise that you give him when he does something right. Men will live in a house where they are respected and they are praised. You say, well, I don't praise him and he's still around. No, he just sleeps there. You're great roommates, but he is not there. His life is not there. And this is why sometimes I see men start putting all their efforts into their work or into sports or into hunting, into fishing. This is the reason why you see it put all their work into work because at work they
will hear, Hey, that is a great job, man. Thanks for turning out that report, man. That really helped the company. And when he hears that it's like oxygen to him. And that's why he spends the 70 hours a week there. The reason why they'd rather spend all their time with their buddies sometimes is because they finally hear on the golf course, great shot, man. They may rip on him, but when he heard great shot, it keeps him coming back all the time, all the time. Praise respect is like oxygen to that man's world. And it's not just to that man's world. How many know that's to anybody's world, even toward your wife. Amen. Speak praise. Here's the next thing. Speak in peace. So what if he's making mistakes? What's he, what if he keeps making mistakes? He keeps blundering pastor make room for his failures. Now, listen, I'm going to stop right there before I say it. Now, if there are serious issues in that marriage that require intervention, that's not what I'm talking about, because there may be some issues going on that require intervention, even professional help in a situation. It may require a pastor because there's some serious bad issues going on. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about make room for the failures that he makes as he's walking the journey of life. And sometimes he just give him an all shucks. What are you talking about? I'm talking about don't constantly, always nag him and pick on him, especially when it comes to driving directions. I know, I know that, you know, there's a quicker way to your parents' house. I know that I know it will shave off 15 minutes because you have been raised there and you know, and he refuses to listen to you. He'd rather listen to another woman that has a mellow voice on a machine than hear your sweet voice. Tell you, you should go this way. I'm telling you, they're not showing it. It'll say 15. I'm tell you, I have watched demon spirits come out over driving directions. Yeah, but he's wrong. Here is the deal. You may be there 15 or 30 minutes later, but you're going to get there. You're going to get there. I'm talking about the things that sometimes praise when praise I'm going to talk, don't talk about things that need to be talked about, but I'm talking about the constant respond. When there's something wrong, speak in peace. I'm going to say, don't speak, speak in peace, respond in a proper way. And sometimes many of us had to be taught that because you lived in a high volume home where your parents were always at each other. And the only time something got done was whoever was the loudest ended up winning all the time.
And you only thought that's the only way you win in life. You can't respect people. You just got to get. louder and louder and louder and louder and louder and nobody wants to listen to you and you see it in our culture. There's no respect. It's just sometimes we have to be taught in a proper way. So what do you mean, Pastor Sam? Speak your position in a proper tone. Tone is the biggest deal you've ever seen. Speak in a proper tone. Find the proper time. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you. You say, yeah, but what if I've done that and he's still going the wrong way? Well, here's what you got to do. You got to ask the Holy Spirit to do the adjusting in him, because I'm telling you, you're not going to adjust him. You're not going to adjust her. Let the Holy Spirit, ask the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, would you open the eyes of my spouse's understanding so they can begin to see? And if you're wrong, ask the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, then show me God or God, give me patient endurance until this man starts becoming what you see in him. Simply put, respect your husband for who he is becoming, not just for where he is. And let that settle in. God is working on him. Amen? Because respect encourages his refinement because God knows he needs it. So do you. And so does he, but speak in praise and speak in peace. Here's the last thing. Why is this respect so important? Because respect engages heaven's reward. When I say that respect releases power, it really releases the rewards of God. And I want to close with this. There is a couple in the word of God that you see something very dramatic happen when respect begins to be identified and something begins to occur. It's the life of Abraham and Sarah. And I want you to look at first Peter because Peter refers to this in first Peter chapter three in verse five. And look what he says. He says, for this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. He says, in other words, this made a wife really hot. This made her attractive. This gave her a beauty that goes beyond mascara. This is a real beauty that not only God sees, but really it begins to be manifest to a culture. Look what he says. They submitted themselves to their own husband, not every man, her own husband, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him Lord for the Sadie. That's the worst time to say man. Jesus blew it. I thought you were a man of God. I thought you were led by the Holy spirit. You have just blown the whole message for me. This does not mean that Brenda has to go around going, Lord Samuel. That's not what this means. Let me give you just a little bit of something without getting too deep
here. Notice her name is Sarah here and his name is Abra Sarah and Abraham. Before that, before that, before the covenant God made with him in faith that he made with God member, his name was Abram and her name was Sarah, S A R A I. When after the covenant that Sarah is that name of Yahweh Y A H A. You can't pronounce it. It's, it's really a breath and Abraham. So God says, now me, my life is now in them and their life is now in me and the blessings that I have now come between them. Now that the blessing comes in because they've surrendered in covenant to me, she is Sarah, but her name before that was Sarah with an eye and her name before that Sarah meant contentious, argumentative read the story. And I have a little understanding why she was argumentative and contentious read the story. You remember when they were journeying, you remember this and they go into territories of other pagan cultures. And Abram is afraid that when they see his wife, who's beautiful, that they're going to kill him and take her. And so what does he say to his wife? Hey, listen, baby, I have a great idea. Why don't you tell them? You're my sister. Then they won't kill me Okay, maybe once ah shucks bad idea he didn't do once he did it twice And you know why he did it to save his neck He didn't trust God So he lied and you know how God dealt with those those those leaders God dealt with him But he was trying to save his neck and she's going you want me to tell them that I'm your sister Those men could take me they I mean they could do what they will want with me They can kill you and you want me to do this so you can save your do you understand? Why she might be a little miffed here and contentious Could you imagine doing that twice to your wife to save your neck they could I'm telling you it could have been brutal for them Could you imagine the right home after that little encounter He says he goes hey, baby Abrams feel a little amorous you looking mighty fine Yeah beautiful thing
She go Not tonight brother Do You understand this lady she look he took her from our homeland and then when he's going to go find the land that he's supposed to go to twice He bails on her to save his neck How many even know this some serious stuff, so you're going to be a pretty contentious woman But why God's working on his heart He's working on Sarah's heart And he cuts covenant with him and calls him Abraham and calls her Sarah and She said look what that word says again. It said Who obeyed Abraham and called him Lord in? Genesis 18 12 Sarah submits to her husband by calling him Lord What is she saying here? It's to the mean everybody always have to go call your husband Lord That's not what this is talking about what she is expressing if she says I have confidence in you as The priest of our marriage and the priest of our home Even in light of the very bad decisions you have made I see God at work here and I surrender to this And notice what happened This woman is now 90 years old and never had a kid and Her husband is now a hundred years old and his seed in his body is dead But the moment she called him Lord, which means I Surrender to God's will that I see was the priest of our home Even in the midst of the bad decisions we've had to navigate I
Still see God's hand working in you and I see you as the leader to lead our family and in that moment in that moment after 90 years of asking and her womb is closed and shut God opens up her womb and God takes the seat of a hundred-year-old dude and makes a come-alive And They give birth to the greatest miracle a Son When they thought it was all over And I just wonder How many things might be dying in marriages because there's lack of respect? That there's something that God wants to awaken in a marriage awaken in a family But God is waiting for them to say are you ready to submerge and adapt to the will of God and The will that I have for your husband and the will that I have for you I believe heavens are gonna open up and we're gonna start seeing miracles in families and blessings because respect Releases the power of blessing on your life And that's even if you're single and you're not married here have me say Lord I submit not my will but yours I'm gonna let you lead
