God Provides

Surrender. It's part of the faith journey that can be difficult to explain, but such a relief to experience. In week 2 of Peak Experiences, we unpack a challenging story of surrender. Isaac, the long anticipated son of Abraham, was God's promise to make a great nation for Abraham. Yet, mysteriously, God tells Abraham to sacrifice him. Abraham's willingness serves as a powerful testament to radical trust and the truth that "The Lord will provide". On Mount Moriah, Isaac's life is spared and God provides a replacement sacrifice, foreshadowing the life and sacrificial death of Jesus that will be for all.
