God Bless America!!! | Pastor Tim Payne
The Bible says one day, one day, there is coming a day. One day where every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. That means there'll be people who said he wasn't. There'll be people who denied he was, but one day they'll take the place of humility. They'll see him high and lifted up and they won't crucify him again. They won't crucify him again. They'll declare him to be everything he said he was. He is the Lord every knee, every tongue. Can you imagine that? Come on. I've been to stadiums filled with 80,000 people. We do this for passion. They're singing Jesus and it's something, but that is a drop in the ocean. That's a drop compared to one day, one day, every knee going to bow. Every tongue going to say, Jesus is Lord and, and, and come on. Yeah. I'll clap for that. It's not a bad place to clap. And here's the thing. You can say it while you're on this earth and he becomes your savior, or you can wait until you step into eternity and then you'll confess it, but then it'll be your judge, but we will all confess it. And so I just love that name, Jesus. I'm thankful. There's no other name given to us. The Bible says, and then it says it's because of this, you must be saved. Listen, it's not an accident. You're here today. I don't know everybody. I don't know your story.
I love you. I'm thankful that you're here. I'm thankful. I've never preached into an empty room, although I've done that before. That's how I cut my teeth, man. I go at like midnight to my dad's church, I'd get in there. I would tear it up. Boy, I'd preach. That's how I cut my teeth. I want to tell you something. I'm thankful you're here, but I want to tell you something. There's, there's only one thing that's important to us and it's that you know who Jesus is. It's not our job to force you, but it's our job to show you. He is the way. He is the truth and he's the life. He's not one of the ways. He's not one of the truths. He's not one of the lives. He's not plural. He's singular. He is the way back to God. He's the truth about God and he's eternal life from God. That's who Jesus is and, and come on, would you hand me Steph's Bible real quick? Hand me Steph's Bible. And then let me see that little sign, the sign saying reserve seating. I want to illustrate, I feel the Holy Spirit say doing this. Someone's here today. You need this right now. The Bible, the Bible says whoever has the son, I'm going to get it figured out. I'm used to not having a hand held, but I've chosen it today.
Whoever has the son has life. That's what the Bible tells us. Here's why, whoever's got the son got life. Let me say it this way. Whoever's got the son has got life. Whoever the son sets free is free indeed. If you have Jesus, you have life, but if you don't have Jesus, you don't have life. So today at the end of this gathering, we're going to give you an opportunity to say, Jesus, I choose you. That's the most important thing. That's the main thing about this church. We got all kinds, we got groups and man, we got love week coming up and we got great worship. We got all this stuff, but let me tell you something. It's all about the son. It's all about the son. I love that song. Jesus. Thank you, Ashley. Thank you so much. All right. Turn around real quick. Say hello to two, three people real fast and we're going to jump in. One of the preachers I love to listen to, his name is Pastor Samuel Rodriguez. Pastor Samuel Rodriguez addressing our nation in Washington DC said these words, and I quote, God is not done with America. Maybe he didn't hear me. Maybe he's still thinking about meeting him or meeting her. They were sitting a little too far away next Sunday. Pastor Samuel Rodriguez said, God is not done with America. That's good news, guys.
And America is not done with God. I'm going to preach on God bless America, but let me tell you something. There is a kingdom even bigger than America. And one of the things I love, I love the World Cup, I'm a soccer guy. One of the things I've loved is afterwards watching these teams come together and pray and speak the name Jesus out of every tribe, every nation, every tongue. I love this. I'm glad God's not done with us, and I'm glad we're watching a younger generation get desperate for God. I'm watching a younger generation who is becoming God chasers. Because like Jacob of old, who told God, don't, he's wrestling with God. Anyone felt like you've ever wrestled with God? You've never won? Jacob told God, don't leave me until you bless me. And he blessed them and he walked different the rest of his life. I'm thankful. There's three reasons. We could spend years here talking about this, but there's three reasons why I truly believe God has blessed America. The first one is because our four founders trusted God. The second one is because our ancestors, I don't know about yours, but I know there were a lot of ancestors that were godly. We had godly ancestors who kept Jesus in the mix. And the last one is because of our stand with Israel. I know when you turn on the TV, there's a lot of hate. And I want to tell you something. Our battle is not against flesh and blood. It's not. Our battle is against a spiritual realm that's been around for a long time. In other words, like, we're fighting the hands and feet of Satan.
But I want to tell you something. He's already been defeated. So we're not fighting for victory, we're actually fighting from victory. The devil thought he had him at the cross. But then Sunday was coming. The devil thought Good Friday was good because Jesus was dead. But then he found out, he had a newsflash, Sunday morning, Jesus is alive. I'm thankful for this. If we're not careful, we'll allow the world to shape our thinking. We'll allow the world to control how we think. And I want to challenge you, don't allow the world or even our culture to steer your life. There's just one person that needs to take the wheel. And it's Jesus. If we're not careful, those of us who know Christ can look nothing like Christ to a world who has been blinded to Christ but desperately needs Christ. James said it this way. James said, how in the world is it that out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing? So we can bless God, but then we can curse someone who doesn't think just like us. Dream with me just for a second. What would it be like if we allowed our thinking to come from God's thoughts? Bible tells us that God's ways are not our ways, that His ways are higher than our ways. They're better than our ways. One of the epidemics in our country is we have so many apps that are open, but we don't have the book of life, God's breath on a page, open. Steering our lives and today is an invitation for that God blessed America the question is Why did God bless America number one because our forefathers our founding fathers? They trusted God I Don't know if you know this or not, but history books have been rewritten I don't know if you know this or not But when you start to begin to study and even see where some of the money flows in that pays for some of the books
It's interesting There is a real enemy who wants to take the truth out because that's what the enemy does He is a liar. He's always been a liar he's a liar from the very beginning and the Bible says the devil's the father of all light the father of all lies When we look back into history and really begin to see for ourselves How did we how did we even become a nation? It's not only interesting it's extremely encouraging Because of those 56 men many of them were Christians all of them sacrificed John Hancock, you know the story He said I'm gonna write my name so big that the King of England doesn't even need his spectacles to see it Have you ever read the Declaration of Independence? Do you know what it says? Are you do you just have an opinion on why you're a Democrat or a Republican? Do you have knowledge or just opinions because opinions doesn't carry the weight of a country Do You criticize leadership or do you pray for leadership you think you would do a better job What if you had the weight but not the prayer God's people I Believe heard from God and had a dream America's not perfect But I'll tell you something you turn on the TV and you watch a lot of hate Towards America. There's a reason for that There's a reason for that. We've been blessed. Where else do you go? Do you know this still the number one country people want to come to and live? Do you know this? You know Hollywood whatever they're like, I don't want it. We'll go God bless you hit the doors Don't let the door hit you with the good Lord split you like get on with your big bad self I go do it on your own go start your own revolution
Like go sacrifice let you go bleed. You see what I'm saying? Like there's real blood sweat and tears for a country that if we're not careful we take for granted. I Don't want to take it for granted. I think when the greatest sins It's easy to do is the sin of ingratitude. I Don't want to raise of kids family that is entitled Because entitled doesn't do nothing it ruins everything I'm thankful for a father who fought in Vietnam and a grandfather who fought in World War two I'm thankful for a cousin who fought in Desert Storm and a brother Who's in the Navy and he'll go on and on and on you got family members, too. I'm I'm thankful There's a God who has protected our nation I'm thankful when my dad was in Vietnam and dad was sleeping That night on a landmine Slept all night with a Gideon Bible in his pocket. God said not today devil. I'm thankful that God has the final say I'm thankful when my dad was in the foxhole I'm thankful when the bullets were flying. They were jumping out of the helicopter. I'm thankful Even Though my dad was shot several times and still has shrapnel in his body at 79 years old I'm thankful For a heritage for a father for family that said I'm gonna fight For the future. I'm gonna fight for my family. I wasn't born yet. I'm thankful for unselfish people I'm thankful for that Our forefathers knew they didn't stand a chance without God and I'm here to tell you today. We don't stand a chance without God We don't stand a chance and how can two walk together unless they're agreed if I was the devil and I'm not I Would do everything I could to split divide This unity is distant on unity Unity is what it's all about and our forefathers knew that they would not make it without God. Let me tell you a couple stories real quick. This is so interesting. In the first Continental Congress when they met, they were so
divided. Two delegates, one man from South Carolina and another from New York, said we're gonna pray. And some of the men had such animosity against each other because of their different religious backgrounds that they said, you're not praying, you're not getting the mic. What's interesting is they had fled England because the King of England said there's only one church and it's my church, it's the official Anglican Church. And if you're gonna worship God, everyone's gonna come to this one church. And they fled so they could have religious freedom to worship God in spirit and in truth. That's how we started. I don't know what your history book said or which one you read, that's how we started. And listen to how different they were. Virginia was predominantly Anglican. Massachusetts, predominantly Puritan. You don't want to be a Puritan. Everything was sin. Some of you are like, I'm pretty sure I grew up a Puritan. New York, Dutch Reformed. Rhode Island, Baptist. Delaware and New Jersey, predominantly Swedish Lutheran. I never even heard of that until I started studying this. I'm like, they must have been cooler than the normal Lutherans. They're like, yeah, but we're Swedish. Swedish Lutheran. Connecticut, New Hampshire, Congregationalist. Sam Adams, I think he's got a beverage named after him. Sam Adams spoke up and he said, I am no bigot. I can hear a prayer of any man of piety who at the same time is a friend of this nation. That's what he said. John Adams spoke up and referenced and read Psalm 35. Psalm 35. Here's your homework, go read Psalm 35. This was September 1774. John Adams said, if we do not work together, we cannot maintain freedom. So it's no wonder why the enemy, because we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, no wonder why the enemy is trying to get the blue against the red and the red against the blue. I'm for the red, white, and the blue. That's what I'm for. I'm also for righteousness. Now why was that applause not there? It's convicting, isn't it? Psalm 33 12 says, what joy for a nation whose God is the Lord. By the way, where is joy found? In the presence of the Lord there's fullness of joy. And what happens to be my strength? The joy of the Lord is your strength. What happens to be your strength? The joy of the Lord. And David says, what joy for the
nation who their God is not just a God, but their God is the Lord. Now are you tracking with me? Because one day every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus is not one of the gods, Jesus is not one of the Lord's, that he is king of kings. Kings will confess, yeah, I was a king. Presidents will confess, I was a president. But they will confess that, yeah, I was the Lord. But they will can all confess, you are the king of kings, you alone are the Lord of Lords. And I will now confess it because it's true. George Washington, George Washington, got him, got him on the dollar bill. I thought about like having a camera out there and asking people when they came in, which presidents on the dollar bill? True or false? He's also on the quarter and come to find out he is. So how many would have got that right? How many you're not sure, but maybe. George Washington, his first order as commander of the Continental Army was this. He said this. I'm gonna paraphrase because it's very long. Here's my paraphrase. He said, we cannot afford to curse. I've done that before. Don't look at me like that. Raise your hand if you're sitting next to someone. He said, we can't afford to curse. He said, we can't afford to get drunk. He said, we can't afford to do anything that would offend God because we need God's help or we will not succeed. George Washington. When he said Lord, he's talking about Jesus. every Sunday at 11 a.m. in every brigade, wherever there's a chaplain, there must be church, and wherever there's not a chaplain, you must go to one who has a chaplain and have church. He pulled his officers aside, and he said this. Officers, set the example. And then he said, with attendance. You know how you set the example with your kids? By doing what you did today and coming. Because when you choose the boat during church, you're saying the boat's more important than Jesus. When you choose anything, or I choose anything else,
and when it's time set aside, we're saying this is more important. But just like he said there, I'm proud of y'all, because we do set the example. And by the way, they're sponges and they're watching. Some things are taught, and some things are caught. So don't wait till they're 18 and wonder why they don't love God when you never acted like you did. It's a convicting message to me as well. If we're not one nation under God, we will be one nation gone under. So we must remain one nation under God. Psalm 127 was quoted by Benjamin Franklin during the Constitutional Convention, June 28th, 1787. He was the oldest man there. He was the least religious founder, and yet if you hear anything, some historians will tell you he did not know God, he did not believe in God, and yet here he quotes many Bible verses. You've heard like a line or two of this one speech. It was the longest speech he ever gave. But what's so interesting about this is not only did he quote the Bible, but he believed what he was quoting. I wanna read to you a section from him proving to his brothers that they needed prayer. They needed prayer daily. He said this. He said, I've lived, sir, a long time,
and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this one truth that God governs in the affairs of men. And then he quotes Jesus. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without the creator's notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? What if we were more loyal to Jesus for our nation than we were a political party? What if we didn't put our hope in the blue? What if we didn't put our hope in the red? What if we put our hope not in the White House, but in the big house, the biggest house? What if we, when we voted, allowed not just our opinion or our training or our thinking, what if we lined up this as the standard for what is right and what is wrong? Our founding fathers, they trusted God. Benjamin Franklin said, we need prayer, and we need it on the daily. We need it. Why has God blessed America? I want you to understand something. America was founded by Christians for Christians. It was forged to be a Christian nation built on Christian principles. Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 says this, trust in the Lord with all your heart. Heart is your intellect, your will, and your emotion.
It's not the, it's your intellect, it's your will, it's your emotion. So with all my intellect, with all my decision making, even with my emotion, I'm to depend on God. I'm to seek him. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do. Our forefathers sought God's will. I wish I had hours, and I don't. I wish I could read paragraphs, and I won't. But to tell you how many of our founders said, this country will only exist if we build it on the. truth of the eternal God. And that's what they did. That's why you have the freedom to criticize things you don't understand. That's why we have the freedom to criticize things we don't like. It's because people paid the ultimate sacrifice. One of the men said, I pray to God, this is pretty much a quote, I pray to God that future generations will not take our sacrifice in or for granted. He said, if they do, I will repent in heaven. Do you realize out of the 56 men, a lot of them had their homes burned, their land taken, their wives and children in prison, a couple of them, their wives and their kids were so mistreated, got so sick, they died. Right after being released, they paid the sacrifice. We have warriors here today. If you're a veteran, would you please stand? Thank you. Thank you. If you're active, would you stand?
Come on. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Number one, God bless America, because our founding fathers, they trusted God. By the way, Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, it says, seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. They knew if God didn't show them, they didn't have a clue. They knew none of them were that smart. They would tar and feather each other. I guess that's what they did for fun. They hated each other in those early days so much, it was so hard for them to come together. But what brought them together was God. What keeps us together is still God. Number two, our godly ancestors stored up mercy. How great is the goodness, or mercy? I say goodness, you say mercy. Goodness. Goodness. How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection. Blessing them before the watching world. I love it. In God we trust became the national motto, July 30th, 1956, under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Our currency has said it. Not that we've always acted like it, but in God we trust. You can trace it back to Civil War origins where they had not one cent, but they had a coin that was two cent. It said, in God we trust.
In our flag, we pledge allegiance one nation under God. I'm thankful for men and women through the years who've said, this is truth. This is our true north. In God we trust. I'm thankful for those who've not just said it, but those who believed it. I'm thankful for those who've lived it. Stored up mercy. God told David, David, because of your life, because you've been a man after my own heart. By the way, David screwed up. He committed adultery. I mean, that's one of the Ten Commandments. David broke that, but God said, you confess, you repented, you're a man after my own heart, and God told David, I am storing up mercy for you for several generations because of the way that you've loved me. Listen, listen to me. Listen, you can love God in a way. I can love God in a way that stores up mercy. I'm thankful for grandparents, great grandparents, and parents. I think about my parents and Steph's parents. Godly people. Are they perfect? No. But we love them. There's a story in Genesis 18, 19. I'm almost through. Genesis 18, 19. God comes down to Abram. He comes down to Abram. We're going to read a couple verses in a minute, but he comes down to Abram and he says, I'm going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.
It was filled with homosexuality, but it was filled with a bigger sin than that. It was filled with pride. God resists the proud, but he gives grace to the humble. Wicked things were happening. God sent two angels down. These angels are banging on Lot's door, begging. Excuse me, not the angels, the community. The people that lived there were trying to rip the door down because they wanted to sleep with the two angels. Evidently angels are beautiful. They said, give us those two men. And Lot said, you can't have them, but you can have my two daughters, they're virgins. You can have them, take them, do whatever you want, but you can't touch them. These are gods. What kind of father does that? This is how wicked Sodom and Gomorrah was. The angels struck them with blindness. God was getting ready to rain down fire and destroy this place. And Abram said, God, my nephew lives there, but please don't, like, God, can I ask for one favor? You ever done that to God? God, can I ask you for one favor? God, can I ask you just one favor? If I find 50 righteous people, would you please just spare the city? And God said, sure. He couldn't find 50. So he came back, God, one more. 40? God said, sure. He came back one more time.
30? God said, okay. I'll spare the city for 30. He came back one more time. God, 20. He said, okay. Abram came back one last time, said, God, 10. If I can just find 10. Evidently he felt he could find 10. What's interesting is his nephew lived there. Lot was married. He had a wife. She didn't listen to God. She paid for it. He had Lot and his wife and they had two daughters and they were married. There were six in his extended family that should have feared the Lord. So that means they only would have needed four more, just four righteous people. And God did not spare the city. I'm thankful that even though America is not perfect, I'm thankful that we've had godly people in this country like Billy Graham. Like DL Moody walked the streets of Boston and still there on the building in the brick. I'm thankful that America has been shown stored up mercy. Number three, our stance with Israel. Let me tell you something. The devil has always been anti-Israel and you may be from a different country and be here today or got family from a different country. I understand that. I know my uncle's growing up. He was from the middle east. I want to tell you something.
God loves everybody. And the devil uses religion to divide everybody. God loves Buddhists. He does. Jesus died on the cross for every person, not just a section or a fraction. But we all need Jesus. When God made his people Israel, he said, these are my chosen people. And in Genesis 12, one through three, God tells Abram, hey, go to a place I'm going to show you. And Abram's like, God says, start walking. For some of us, that's a message in and of itself. Faith is the substance God needs for the miracle. He says, start walking and I'll show you where to go. Some of us are like, I'm going to wait till you show me where to go. Then I'm going to start walking. You know what I'm saying? Like I'll start tithing when there's extra. And God says, start walking. I'll take care of you. That's good preaching right there. Boy, I'm going to shout myself down. I'm going to shout myself down. Faith is the substance that things hope for when you got the evidence of nothing. When you say, God, I'm going to trust you, Abram started walking. Abram believed God. And it was imputed is one of the words. It was accounted for him as righteousness because he believed. By the way, that's how we come to Christ. We believe. And because of God's grace, we put our faith and trust in the goodness of God and the love
of God. And we get the same thing. We get righteousness deposited into our bankrupt account. Because of who he is. Abram started walking. And then God said, Abram, I'm going to tell you something right now. Whoever blesses you, I'm going to bless. And whoever curses you, I personally will curse. I'm going to make you a father of a great nation. Father Abraham had many sons. Many sons had Father Abraham. You're one of them. And so am I. So let's just praise the Lord. Right arm. Left arm. Right foot. Now we're tired. And I guess we get the energy out. And then we can teach the kids. That's how I grew up in Sunday school. They're like, whew. They're like, good. We got the wiggles out. Now let's preach Jesus. But Father Abraham, God changed his name later to Abraham. He said, I'm telling you. I'm going to make you popular. I'm going to make you big. Every family in the world is going to be blessed because of your faith.
How much is hanging in the balance of your faith? How much of a blessing? One preacher said, we're going to get to heaven, and there are going to be warehouses with boxes and boxes and boxes. And we're going to be like, what is that? All the blessings that we never received because we didn't believe, we didn't ask, we didn't pray, we didn't walk, we didn't obey. But God said whoever blesses Israel, now let me tell you something, Israel's not perfect. But my, I'm not perfect, my spouse isn't perfect, you're not perfect, your spouse isn't perfect, you're single, you're not perfect, none of this is perfect. But I know this growing up, right? Like I had two young, I still, I had, I got two younger brothers, older sister, she thought she was the boss. See a ministry in Alabama, I love her. Someone messed with my brothers or my sister, you're coming through me to get to them. But I'm gonna take care of that later. Right now, the issue at hand is you. And we're fixing to deal, you don't, don't, I'm gonna come through me to get to them. I'm thankful that our founders, I'm thankful for our godly heritage, I'm thankful that they said, you know what, we better stand with Israel. Because if we don't stand with Israel, if we curse Israel, we're going to be cursed. I'm telling you in a world where anti-Semitism is rising, and you watch the news long enough, I'm telling you, listen to me, God's hand is still on that nation. That nation is still God's nation. God chose them. We didn't get a vote on it. We are blessed today through the nation. So don't criticize, don't demonize. Oh, be careful, little tongue, what you say. For the Father up above is looking down in love. Oh, be careful, little tongue, what you say. Be careful. Don't, don't, don't buy into this, though. Everybody hating on Israel. I want to tell you something, man. I thank God that we've stood with Israel. We better stay standing with Israel. Because God promised a blessing and a curse. I want the blessing. How about you guys? I'm thankful. This is the truth. I'm thankful. Are you thankful? Do you take it for granted? I love where we live, guys. Honestly, I love, it's such a patriotic area. I love seeing men and women in uniform. I love shaking their hands and saying thank you and showing honor where honor is due. It's biblical. I'm thankful, man. I don't worship America, but dang it, I'm telling you, I thank God for it. I'm telling you,
when I came back from China, I got down and kissed the ground. You don't know how good you have it. Stop complaining. Start praying. Start bowing down. Stop, excuse me, thank you, Lord. Stop bowing down to idols of a Republican or Democratic party and bow down to the cross. And open your Bibles and realize we better keep trusting in our God. We better stay godly and we better stand with Israel. Would you stand and let's pray. Thank you, God. I did as you said. I preach the message you put on my heart to preach, Lord. The results are all up to you. In a moment, we're going to sing and I'm going to ask everybody here, if you're a Christian, I'm asking you to come hit your knees. Why? Because you're never stronger than when you hit your knees. I'm going to ask us, come pray for our country. First Timothy chapter two says, pray for all men everywhere. Pray for kings. Pray for the authority above you. Do you pray for your authority? You pray for your CEO? Do you pray for your boss? I don't like the boss. God didn't say, if you like the boss, pray for the boss. God said, pray for your boss. When was the last time you prayed for your boss? When was the last time you blessed your boss? See, honor boomerangs. God says, we to pray. I'd ask you pray for the pastor. It's not easy leading this church. Not because of you. You are the easy part because I'm fighting the devil. We're fighting the devil. I'm thankful I'm not fighting the devil alone. Let me tell you something. He said he'd never leave me nor forsake me. I wanted to tell you something. Not only do I have the Trinity Father, son, Holy Spirit, but you know what? I got you. You're the best people in our country. I'm telling you right here. I'm looking out. I'm seeing faces. I mean that we got the best volunteers because we got the best people. I love this church, but the enemy comes in to still kill and destroy. He wants to divide. Don't let the enemy schemes take you. Don't be a statistic of the devil. Come on. I'm going to stop there, but I could keep going. Would you bow your heads or you close your eyes? If you're here today and you're not a Christian, maybe let me tell you something. You don't find God. God always finds you. Nobody here finds God. God ain't lost God finds you Just like God found me God found me broken God found me needing him
God found me running hard God found me dirty. God found me lost If God finds you the same way and here's the cool thing about God. He ain't scared of the dirt Because he knows beautiful things come from the dirt because it's his dirt He knows And he loves you He knows all the dirty things about you and he still loves you and he still chooses you and he still runs after you Surely goodness and mercy will follow me will chase after me all the days of my life God has been chasing you for a long time and God's got you here for such a time as this If you don't know Jesus run to him Man, if you don't know Jesus It's not what you can do You can't do anything That's why Jesus did everything He died on that cross and he said father forgive them. They don't even know what they're doing He died on the cross and he said it is finished What was finished the price that had to be paid? Cuz sin demands death the wages of sin is death But God said we ain't stopping the story there But the gift of God is eternal life the gift of God You ever been you ever received the gift of God you ever? Received you you ever received the son because if you have you got life, but if you haven't received Jesus, you don't have life I'm telling you You need him Jesus is the way the truth in the life. He bled on that cross. He absorbed the sin of the world He absorbed the wrath of God for the sin of the world and he did it all so you and I could embrace the love Of God you and I could embrace the mercy of God you and I could embrace the grace of God And he's offering it to you today. What do I do pastor Tim? Well, the Bible says whoever will call on the name of the Lord. What's the name of the Lord Jesus?
Whoever will call in the name of the Lord will be saved not hopefully so But you will be mark it down you can be assured a hundred percent positive That you're a child of God If you're here and you're wrestling, I don't know pastor Tim sometimes I feel like a Christian sometimes I don't know if I'm a Christian the devil's in my ear saying you're not a Christian the devil tried to do that with Jesus right after his baptism as soon as he started his ministry the devil said did If you the son of God do this, what do you mean if my father just said this is my son in whom? I am well pleased if the devil tried to make Jesus after he heard his father's voice Declaring him to be the son of God the devil gonna try to do it to you You don't have to stay there get assurance of your salvation today so you can walk in victory I want to lead you in a prayer. You're not praying to me not praying through me We're gonna talk to God right now, and he's listening heads bowed and eyes closed It's not just saying these words It's you Trusting Jesus to do something for you that you could never do for yourself and that is wash you clean and He'll do it if you ask With a mouth confession is made with the heart. We believe that he died He rose again for us But with the mouth we confess and whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10 9 through 13 I want you to pray right now. Would you say Jesus? Come on, Blackwater pray with me Jesus You are the Lord You are the Savior and I need you to be my Lord and Savior. I Believe you love me. You bled for me. You died and rose again for me and today I Invite you I ask you come into my life Wash away my sins Make me new
