Ever Wonder Why Peace Feels So Out of Reach?
Ever wonder why peace feels so out of reach? Most of us are living life from the wrong level—stuck in stress, worry, and pressure—while Jesus is inviting us to live from a higher place with Him.
What if peace isn’t something you have to chase, but something you experience when you learn to think higher, love deeper, and see your life from Jesus’ perspective?
In this week’s message, Pastor Stu Hodges unpacks what the Bible calls “union with Christ”—the idea that when you said yes to Jesus, you were raised with Him (Colossians 3 : 1–2, Ephesians 2 : 6).
You already have a new position, a new perspective, and a new purpose… you just may not be living from them yet.
You’ll learn why life feels overwhelming “down here,” and what changes when you start setting your mind and heart on things above (Romans 12 : 2, Matthew 6 : 21).
If you’ve been tired, anxious, or searching for something real, this message shows you how to move from the chaos below to the clarity above—where Jesus already is.
🪜 Simple Action Steps
1️⃣ Start your day with God.
Before you look at your phone, take a minute to breathe, pray, and ask God to help you think His way today.
2️⃣ Read one Bible verse.
Ask, “What does this teach me?” This helps you listen to God as Give Day gets closer.
3️⃣ Do something kind for someone.
Hold a door, smile, help a friend. Small acts of giving help your heart grow.
4️⃣ Talk to God with your family.
Ask together, “What does Jesus want us to do this week?” This gets your heart ready for Give Day.
5️⃣ Ask God about Give Day.
Say, “God, show me what You want me to give.” Let Him lead your heart.
