Embrace Your Season
WAIT on the Lord, When we are in the midst of the struggle it can be so easy to neglect the need for patience and trust. God has a plan for you, let it have it's full effect in your life by embracing this season with endurance.
we just want to welcome you home we want to welcome you to our house Mikasa Yokasa and you came in in a good series the only problem is you came in at the end of it and so if you haven't yet I would encourage you to go back and watch some of the rest of the weeks and get caught up not right now but you could wait till after service so that you're not distracting the other people around you by watching last week's sermon but we've been in this series titled meant for good meant for good and last week we talked about there's a reason for your season and we looked at how Joseph went through everything that he did right like he went through the ups and downs he went through the hardships he went through I mean just betrayal after betrayal after betrayal wrongfully incarcerated I mean just 22 years of just life happening before the promise of God ever came true in his life I don't know if maybe you felt like that before like maybe you've had some stuff in your life that just one bad thing after another and it just kept happening and kept happening and you're having a hard time trying to find the reason for the season that you've been in but then you get to the end where we was at last week and you get to see all of the fruition just come true and this week if last week we talked about there's a reason for your season this week I want to talk about how to embrace that season how to embrace that season like when it's not going the way that you wanted it to go right when it's when it's not going how you thought that it would go and how you thought that it would end up and and and how how can you lean in how can you press forward even despite the hardships like how can you so I want to look at three quick ways today of how you can embrace your season and if you're not yet I would encourage you to take notes people that take notes get to sit by the disciples in heaven and you will enjoy your time when you get there I promise you if you don't take notes you sit with Tupac because there is a ghetto or no I'm just kidding we wonder if heaven got a ghetto you know I don't know you know but the people that don't take notes find out you know and so but anyways number one I want to look at three ways to embrace your season number one is trusting that God knows best trusting that God knows best when you
look at Genesis 45 it says this 5 through 8 it says it was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives we kind of looked at this a little bit last week and this is a point where all of life had just happened for Joseph and his brothers came for the the famine and they came and then they went back and now they're here again and now he's revealing his identity to him Joseph is revealing his identity to his brothers and he's like hey it's me Joseph you know and and now they're looking at him crazy and and naked tell cuz he could tell cuz he had to tell him again no hey it's really me Joseph like and now he's like hey it was it was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives right this this famine in Genesis 45 verse 6 he says the famine that has ravaged the land for two years will last five more and there will be neither plowing nor harvesting and he reminded him hey God has sent me here ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors and he just reminds him again and he said hey so it was God who sent me here not you and I love because he said he said the thing that you've been struggling with for two years it ain't over yet he said it ain't over he said matter of fact you got about five year you still got some time to go and I think that when you look at this story it's important to to see because it's going to require you to inspect your circle and get around the people that are meant to carry you through this next season because when they're here face-to-face and this is kind of where we left off last week they're here face-to-face and and he's like hey this now Joseph the ones that they was like oh no this is who was meant to carry them through the season of blessing through the season even in the five years that they had left and it's crazy because it makes me think you think that this was the first time that Joseph actually thought about this you know like like he's standing here and he's like hey it wasn't you that sent me here it was God it was God who sent me here and it makes me think about year three when he was in the prison or maybe in the back of the police carriage when he was falsely accused for rape and I wonder when he was on his way to the
prison if he was thinking you know what God sent me here it's cool it's cool you know God God sent me here I'm alright like and then year three maybe four I don't know maybe twelve I wonder if he's still laid there in the bed with the same thought you know it's all good God sent me here you know no I I don't think that he probably I think that he probably had to talk himself through every point that he went through to believe it but hey you know what my situation I'm not gonna believe this I'm not gonna believe what it says I'm not gonna believe what my scenario says I'm gonna believe that God is gonna carry me through because I trust that he knows best for my life and I wouldn't be here if he wasn't taking me somewhere and I don't know exactly where I'm going but I know that this place right here is just temporary to get me to where he's trying to take me and so I believe that that he just I think he believed Eric he convinced himself to believe it every step along the way and I think that that God may have sent me here this morning to announce that some of you what you have may have been going through was something that God has intended you to grow through and the reason that you are in the season that you're in is because you were sent there to be refined and prepared for what's next in your life but what's next requires your obedience right now and you're never going to get to your next season without your obedience in this season but how do you walk obediently when everything around you looks like it just don't line up when it looks like all the chips are stacked against you when it looks like I mean you just if you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have luck at all right like I mean what what happens well here's what happens it takes you fully trusting that God knows what's best for your life because isn't it true that we often struggle to recognize how difficult circumstances can be used for good especially when they disrupt our life it's like I wasn't expecting this well if this wouldn't happen and then I mean you got a phone a friend and you got to tell them about all the bad stuff that's been going on in your life and you just tell them and complain some more and complain because the louder you confess it the more the enemy hears everything that you're saying and he's
understanding all of your weak spots and now he's got a target on your back because you done confessed out loud to every single person of the stuff that you just keep going through and I just can't believe it oh man just you know if it wasn't man I can I just catch a break and all of a sudden the enemy's like and I think he's sitting back and he's looking and and I I wonder how we could handle it a little bit differently and and and I'm glad that we have the Bible because Paul tells us about it you want to know what he says he says that you can rejoice even when you run into problems and trials he said you can rejoice for we know that we are that they help us develop endurance and I wonder if maybe some of us are struggling in our situations today because our stamina is depleted we have no endurance in the fight we get in we think we're good and we just we start trying to fight a battle that we really ain't prepared to fight we start speaking to realms that we ain't even fit to speak to we start saying stuff to people that we shouldn't even be saying it to and then all of the sudden this problem happens but he says hey rejoice don't trip you can be happy even when things are going bad why because it helps you develop endurance and then he said an endurance develops strength of character and strength of character strengthens our confident hope of salvation you know what that means it means that when you finally get a fight that is within you where you say I'm not quitting I'm not backing down I'm not standing down I don't care what my situation says I don't care what I'm going through I don't care what my life I'm gonna keep fighting I'm gonna keep pushing I'm gonna keep running I'm gonna keep stacking this I'm gonna keep going against it I'm not I'm not stopping I'm not backing down from the enemy I'm gonna keep doing it I'm gonna develop endurance you know what it does it builds character and when you all of a sudden get some character built you know what that does it says that you have the hope of salvation it says that you have the confident hope of salvation because once you start feeling you know what I can fight this thing I don't have to worry about it I can keep I'm at my situation looks bad but it's not gonna knock me
off my cue it's not gonna knock me off my stoop I'm gonna keep fighting for the Lord I'm gonna keep pressing in I'm gonna keep doing this and then all of a sudden you got this new character developed within you and then you got a new aura and people can see oh yeah man that person ain't never gonna back down they ain't never gonna stop they're gonna keep fighting they're gonna keep man how do you fight that way how do you do it how do you stand even when life is going on around you how do you do it because I have the hope that Jesus is gonna save me that's what it says I have the hope that Jesus is gonna save me from this and this hope will not lead to disappointment for we know how dearly God loves us because he's given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with love Joseph's story demonstrates this so well listen God can use the most trying circumstances and the most unlikely people to accomplish his purposes he can but we have to have faith in him and know that he has our best interest at heart if you don't trust me I promise you you ain't gonna let me have nothing in your life straight up but if you trust me you'd give me the keys to your house you'd give me the keys to your Jaguar Jaguar you'd give me the keys to whatever you got if you trusted me if you really truly trusted me you would give me access and I wonder if maybe some of the things that we're doing right now we're not actually trusting God like we say we are because we're not allowing him full access to every single area that we want him to be in we say that we want different but we don't allow him full access into every single area and I wonder if we just said hey God my hands are out of it I'm done I wash my hands of this situation and I'm just gonna patiently wait with endurance and I'm gonna stand here and not give up because I know that you're gonna build my character you want to know how to stomp the enemy in the face start rejoicing in the middle of your problems you know what that would do it would throw off your predictabilities I mean the devil wouldn't he's like oh God I'm again there they are look at him gossiping about everybody in the church look at him oh I got him on a prayer list you see how I did that I started a prayer chain now they're telling everybody about what Susie's doing they
need prayer Susie needs prayer now we got now we got Susie being prayed for while everybody in the church knows that she's been sleeping with Billy I hope there's not a Susie and Billy in here I tried to pick up there is okay there's a Billy well we're not talking about you Billy unless your girlfriend Susie and then it's prophetic just kidding I don't know who Billy or Susie is and so we love you but as what happens is if if we let this punk just continue to study our weaknesses listen you can't allow the same weakness in your life next month that you've been struggling with this month he knows how to hit you he knows how he's had you buckled he knows how to get you down he knows and the Lord is trying to build endurance in you so that you can get through this fight so that he can look at the enemy and say haha see I told you you wasn't gonna get that soldier I told you you wasn't gonna get that person there there they got a fight in them there ain't no and then all of the sudden he's got to try to come in a different area because he can't keep coming in that same area because you've defeated him in that area you're like nope I've developed a character there and it's not gonna happen but all too often we treat God like some abusive parent or like some backstabbing friend some untrustworthy person and is what happens is we carry our preconceived earthly insecurities over into all of our heavenly relationships when in order to please God you know what the Bible says you must have faith and believe that even in the middle of the storm that he knows best see faith says that even though my situation doesn't look like the promise said it was even though my situation don't look good right now I'm going to trust that God has everything under control and then remove your controlling tendencies off of a God-ordained situation see I'm gonna keep going and Paul says this and I love Paul he's probably my favorite Bible character and he says he's reading to the church or he's writing to the church in Philippi and at the end of the book he says and now dear brothers and sisters one final thing he said hey if everything that I've told you up until this point has not resignated hey if everything that I've told you up until this point you
haven't heard if all you get is one thing out of this entire letter that I've wrote the church here's what it is and he tells them fix your thoughts on what is true he said quit believing the lies of the enemy quit believing the lies of your friends quit believing the lies of those fake ministers that act like they have a relationship with God but really behind closed doors they're really just as bankrupt they are whitewashed tombs they're pretty on the outside but they carry deadness on the inside he said don't don't fix your your thoughts on those lies he said fix your thoughts on what is true what is honorable what is honorable what is right and pure and lovely he says and and and and then fix your thoughts on what's admirable like what is that well would you want somebody to look at how you walk out your life with the Lord and be like man I want that how do they do that how do they how do they handle themselves with such integrity even when it seems like the world is coming against them even when it seems like everything is going downhill for him how do you handle yourself like that it is so admirable think on those things he said fix your thoughts on those and then he said think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise I think we we spend way too much time thinking on things that are defeating us thinking on things that are beating us down thinking on thing and I get it like when you're getting two-piece and your eyes are swollen and you're just feeling like oh man you know like I just can't take another hit I understand it is hard to think about things that are worthy of praise and things that are excellent because nothing around you but Paul says hey no matter what your situation is you've got to start thinking about things that are worthy of praise that means when your situation says hey I shouldn't be praising hey I'm stuck in a prison like Joseph was I'm in this situation you're gonna say hey you know what I'm gonna lift my hands I'm gonna put worship on in my car I'm gonna start listening to some praise music and I'm gonna worship my way through this storm because I'm gonna fight this battle a little bit different I'm not gonna fight it how I used to fight it I'm not gonna fight the way that I used to I'm not gonna fight the way that my my grandfather used to
but I'm gonna fight this thing a new way and I'm gonna find something I promise you if you was to analyze your life you would be able to find something worthy of praise listen if you're here today you got that to be able to be thankful for not that you're just in this church but that you have breath in your lungs and you have the ability to lift your hands I'm gonna throw up my hands you see what I'm saying and it's like when you don't even have I have nothing to give you but I want this lion that is inside of me to just roar out with thankfulness and just give you something that is where he said keep putting into practice all that you learned and received from me everything you heard from me and saw me doing then the God of peace will be with you and he goes on to say how I praise the Lord you are concerned about me and I know that you have always been concerned about me but you didn't have a chance to help me but that not that I ever was in need for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have he said I don't have to have anything more than what I got right now I don't have to have that situation that I've been pleading to God for I don't have to have that situation I don't have to have your money I don't have to have these great things I don't have to have all of that because he said I've learned at whatever state that I am in that I am to be content because I know that God is good in my life I know that he is and I know how to live on almost nothing and I know how to live with everything I've learned the secret of living in every single situation whether it be my full stomach or an empty stomach with plenty or with little for I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength he said I don't need nothing else but a little bit of Jesus and if all you got is that hey look you ain't got to have the biggest house you ain't got to have the nicest car you ain't got to have the best this or the best that but if you can learn to live and find something worthy of prayer and trust that God has your best interest at heart at the end of the day then I promise you the way that you carry yourself through this season into the next season is going to determine the outcome that you get and that's the next thing I want to talk about is depending on him for the outcome and
this can be very difficult for controlling personalities just a disclaimer if any controlling people are in the room this morning because we have a hard time I'm one too I'm one too okay and so because we have a hard time honestly relinquishing rights to a situation that we don't even have control over it's kind of like it's kind of like you know you're insecure and so like you inflict all those insecurities on your spouse and you think that they're gonna cheat on you so now all of a sudden you've treated them in such a way that they actually want to cheat on you so Genesis 12 this one's crazy but it makes me think about it does it makes me think about Genesis and and how in Genesis 12 and honestly a few times after that God promised Abraham that he would become a great nation and all that that nation that nation would be blessed through all of them and that he would have descendants as far as the east is from the west but in between that promise given and that promise received was this crazy process one that wasn't even fulfilled for hundreds of years and it's crazy because get this Abraham never once saw the promise that God gave him he never seen it he never seen the promise come true in his entire lifetime but part of God's faithfulness to Abraham included ensuring the welfare of his family and he said hey I'm gonna promise you that your nations are gonna be blessed it's gonna come through you it's gonna happen through you but you'll never see it but I'll take care of your family along the way and because without them without the family Abraham would have no legacy listen it wasn't about Abraham's comfort it was about Abraham's calling and it's different like it's completely different because God also told Abraham that his descendants would spend nearly 400 years in a foreign land in the same breath as the promise and so often I think that we hear the blessing but we miss the backstory it's like oh yeah God said he was gonna bless me and mines he said he was gonna do it I forgot he said 400 years like what happened to that and God tells him hey your family's gonna be prosperous but they're also gonna be prisoners and it's crazy because when you look at Genesis 15 he says then the Lord said to Abraham you can be sure that your
descendants will be strangers in a foreign land well that don't sound like much of a promise but they will be oppressed where they will be oppressed as slaves but I will punish the nation that enslaves them and in the end that means with the outcome that I have projected to be true even if you don't get to see it even if you don't get to see it in your time I will punish the nations that enslave them and in the end they will come away with great wealth listen if God told you today that your generations to come will be blessed but it's going to require your obedience now for their blessing later would you be able to do it would you be able to remain continually faithful even if the promise that he gave you does not happen in your lifetime if you had to live in famine if you had to live in a foreign land if you had to live in a strange place where nothing seemed like it was going right and and all of the sudden you realized wow I'm never gonna be able to see the promise of God come true in my life so often we judge our outcomes off of the limited knowledge of our current situations when God sees this thing from an aerial view listen you may feel like you only have a little bit you may feel like you only have a little left you may be looking at the fruit of the promise and measuring it by the famine of the process like you may be trying to see the promise that God has has given you but you can't see through the starvation but listen sometimes you have to be faithful starving before you can be successful eating milk and honey you've got to be successful lethargic we have to be able to hold on to the promise and depend on him for the outcome that's why to me vision is so critical the Bible says that people perish for a lack of vision for a lack of vision people perish for a lack of vision if you're floating through life without any direction you're gonna end up somewhere that you didn't even intend on staying listen Joseph it makes me think because he got up listen why because when you get up every single morning and you have a vision you take calculated steps listen you can't you can't keep living just one day at a time you've got to have a vision for your life I mean you've got to know what's gonna happen
25 years down the road because today when life sucks and I want to give up I don't care about today no more I'm ready to just throw today away I need to know that what I am going through that my temporary dissatisfaction is going to have to be endured so that I can get to the promise that God has for me but if I don't have a vision for my life if I don't know where I'm going listen whenever I whenever I've quit stuff I told myself I recited stuff to myself I said hey my temporary discomfort the call of God is greater on my life than this temporary satisfaction the call of God is greater on my life than the temporary satisfaction I bet you people in public probably heard me say the call of God is greater on my life than this temporary satisfaction they probably thought I was some kind of weirdo you know cuz I'm walking through and I'm just struggling with some stuff in my head and I don't need to tell nobody what I'm struggling with I just need myself to know that my temporary satisfaction is not greater than the call of God on my life I've got to I've got to deflect I've got to get rid of some stuff and I got to know I think that Joseph understood the assignment and because of that he's seen the promise fulfilled from a vision that he had at 17 at 17 he faithfully depended on God for the outcome of the promise while for 22 years the process did not align the process did not align for 22 years but he understood that if he remained faithful even in a season a season that didn't appear like it aligned with the promise of God that God would work out the details let me ask you this what steps could you take right now to get back on course to get back on course to honoring God in every area of your life no matter what your situation looks like what areas have you been stepping back and saying trusted you long enough on that I'm gonna take that back God I'm not gonna trust you there I'm not gonna do this I'm gonna do it my own way I want it this way what steps could you take to get back on track to get back on course and say God I'm gonna trust you with everything because here's the crazy thing the Bible says that those that are faithful with little will be faithful with much what if the reason that you are not getting more is because you're not ready for more what
if you ain't ready for the promise what if what if you think you're ready for the promise but if the promise smacked you like a sack of potatoes right now you wouldn't even know what to do you wouldn't even know well I just need a million dollars no you don't you wouldn't even know what to do with a million dollars you don't know how to manage a thousand anyways they're like give me a million bet I'll find out you know I bet you would you know a million dollars heck a thousand dollars that make half the people listening right now maybe not in this room but online relapse you got a thousand dollars you'd be straight to the whoo yeah baby I can spend two on a zip anyways messing with y'all see y'all big head but in reality the fruit comes from the grind the fruit comes from the grind the oil comes from the pressing The oil comes from the pressing and Joseph was faithful through the famine and that's what allowed him to see the fruit of the promise But even then the promise wasn't as pretty as it seemed to be painted in the in the vision that he had And I wonder if there are some here today that aren't walking in the promise because they haven't been embracing the prop the process properly And it means That like we've got to knuckle in and embrace this season because if you aren't walking in the promise Then you're in the process and you've got to get to a point. Listen where we understand that God has called us to be set apart He said hey, I didn't call you to look the same I called you to look different than the rest of the world does I called you to act different than the rest of the world Does I called you to speak different than the rest of the world does listen hear me on this if you want to see the fruition of biblical promises in your life You have to honor biblical standards in your heart You know, I'm gonna run that back here in a second because here's the truth of the matter is so often We want to claim the promises of God in our life. We want to believe that he's gonna do this and he's oh, yeah I'm claiming the promises. Oh, yeah, God He's told me I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do that and I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do that But then all of the sudden back over here we said
Yeah, I'm really not gonna honor God right here in this area of my life I'm gonna keep the reins to the to the carriage right here because I know that I can run this area better than God can And I'm nearly I'm really not gonna trust him over here either Because I've seen what he's done with my previous relationships. No, he's seen what you've done With your previous relationships Okay, give him the reins back heaven forbid. Yeah If you want to see the fruition of biblical promises in your life You have to honor biblical standards in your heart That means that no matter what you've got to honor God in the situation. You want to know what he said? He said those that love me Will obey my commands. You know what? He didn't say he didn't say hey I'm gonna suggest a few things in this book that was written over thousands of years ago And if it fits your schedule, would you please abide by it? No, he didn't ask for permission He said this is what I need you to know and you want to know I this was so crazy to me This was my mind-blowing When I was reading through all of this story the promise to Joseph that his family would come to Egypt and they would feed him and and they would have and they would come and get the land of Goshen and and they would be able to just live there and Multiply and and they would be this this large family like the promise to Joseph that promise Was actually the process of the promise to Abraham that his family would end up enslaved for 400 years and It's crazy because the thing that we think about sometimes We don't even understand because did you know that the only reason that they ended up in slavery the whole reason That the book of Exodus exists in the Bible is because of the promise that was given to Joseph in that crazy and and the whole thing Happened because of this but after Joseph was gone, right they was there they was living good. He was feeding them
They they all lived well and all of this stuff happened But after Joseph was gone the Pharaoh that raised up after him Didn't know Joseph the Bible says and they ended up this guy ended up getting intimidated to the Israel's growth so he enslaved them and You want to know what that tells me that even after you get delivered from one season? There's another one coming up shortly after that, baby and It's what happens is oftentimes people will be intimidated of your growth and they will try to bring you down because they're jealous Of the anointing that you have on your life He didn't like that God's people was growing bigger than him He didn't like that There was something that was on those people that was making them a people that God was honoring But they wasn't that they don't do it That's why you have to understand that when you're going through some of these seasons That your redemption means more than your slavery. Your redemption means more than your slavery. It's crazy because when you read through the book of Genesis you'll notice that in the story of Joseph there's 11 chapters that are focused on the redemption of Joseph's life. 11 chapters. You want to know how many are focused on his enslavement? Three. Why? Because God doesn't want you to focus on what's enslaving you. He wants you to focus on the thing that holds the redemptive power to that enslavement. Have you had some stuff happen to you? Yes. Have you seen some things that were probably felt like they were going to break you? Absolutely. Does it seem like everything that you're going through is for nothing? Probably. That's what it feels like. But just know, just how Joseph went through family betrayal, false imprisonment, bad thing after bad thing after bad thing, it ultimately led to his family's redemption. As well as being the leading factor to fulfilling the legacy of his great-grandfather Abraham, which was another terrible season. How would you like to be the factor that you was a part of the process and a part of the
promise, but you just had to lead in the terrible season that they were getting ready to go into? Man, talk about a weight to carry. I love you guys, but you're gonna be in slavery for 400 years. I'm about to die now. But it's the promise of God. But it was exactly what God needed to happen to prove that his redemptive power was greater than the redemption that they were about to experience. He had to understand that the people had to understand that, hey, it doesn't matter what I'm going through right now. Is what really matters is that the thing that I'm going through does not mean more than the thing that can relieve me from what I'm going through. And my situation, yeah, it may be terrible right now, but God knows what he's doing. God knows what he's doing. Listen, your situation is just a small puzzle piece to God's larger plan. And I can assure you, God has not forgot about your family. He hasn't forgot about you. He hasn't forgot about what you're going through. Everything that you have been going through is actually quite the opposite. It's for the redemption of your family. And the only contingency is how you handle yourself through what feels like your enslavement. Joseph's attitude not only reflected God's behavior, but many commentators said that it paralleled Jesus's response to sinful humanity 15 something years later. Because Joseph chose to love. He chose to care for those who wronged him, even though they deserved punishment. And it encourages us to see our life and our trials as God sees them. As opportunities for personal growth, as well as means by which he will form us into his disciples. Because if God can use every other tragic story in Scripture, why can't he use yours? Why can't he use your terrible situation? What makes your situation so unique that God wouldn't want to use it? Isn't that contrary to Scripture? Doesn't God take delight in getting glory from situations that doesn't seem to exalt him? Doesn't the Bible testify how God can use foolish things of this world to confound the wise? I believe today that God is redeeming your story. I declare that some of us would rise up and begin to walk as if the redemption of your family, the redemption of your situation, the
redemption of your famine, starved situation is turning around and God is going to use it for good. And listen, you may not see it right now. You may not see it, but God has not and will not leave you nor forsake you. He won't. He won't go against his word. We have to walk in victory even when our situations declare something different. You want to know what you need? We need the Holy Spirit operating in our lives, active, the active agent of God. your life the Holy Spirit on fire deep down within your spirit to where you can't even help but just think of the conviction of God in your life because the fire of the Holy Spirit is in you and your life is just on fire and you're just like whoa I can't help it like I just I've got to do it why because the Bible says that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom if you want some freedom in your life you need to get the Holy Spirit deep down in your bones you need to get the Holy Spirit deep down in your family you need to get the Holy Spirit deep down in your spirit to where you can say I don't care there ain't nothing that's gonna enslave me anymore and I got the fruit of the Spirit I got the power of the Spirit I've got the baptism of the Spirit in my life an active agent he's gonna show me the next step to take he's gonna show me the next road to go he's gonna show me the next door to step into because I'm gonna honor him in my life right now I'm gonna honor him in my life tomorrow I'm gonna honor him every single day and the power the deuteromist power of the Holy Spirit will help you here's the thing that I love right after he says that second Corinthians that's one of the last verses on there in verse 18 he says so all of us who have had the veil removed because he says for the Spirit of the Lord wherever the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom so all of us who have had the veil removed so if we've been in this situation we've had the veil removed whoo about bit the dust is he said now that you've had the veil removed you can see and reflect the glory of God and the Lord who is the Spirit makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image listen walking into your next season requires your obedience in this season
so much so that the reflection that you give that word reflect right there when the veil is removed can see people can see and reflect the glory of God it means that you would produce a reflection it means that people would look on you and see that what you carry that what you hold that what you have is something greater than the defeat of the enemy but it's it's what's produced the victory of heaven and you can walk around and you can you can reflect yeah I got I got the Lord in my life yeah I'm walking and I'm walking with the with the obedience of the Holy Spirit and I know that my victories coming even if I don't see it right now and I'm gonna walk like I'm in victory even when it looks like I'm in defeat even when it feels like I'm in defeat because I can't allow myself to be beat down I can't allow myself to be defeated because I'm gonna reflect I'm gonna produce a reflection of the Lord in every situation that I'm going through and I'm gonna learn how to embrace every season that I'm walking into because I know the promise that God has for my life and I'm gonna obey him I'm gonna honor him I'm gonna produce endurance and character and I'm gonna wait for the hope of salvation in my life because he can do it and he will and he wants to again and he wants to again and he wants to do it in your life this morning amen if I could have everybody stand with me
