Don't Dwell In Your Delay // No Habites En Tu Retraso

I mean, the kids are out of school, some of us we got some vacation time planned, some of us we want to go to the pool, others want to go to the beach, some of us we want to take a road trip, I realized that for our family, whenever we take a road trip, my dad and my brother and I were very similar, because what a type of people that don't want to stop on the way. See, for us, the only reason we will stop is to get some gas, but besides that we're not stopping. We won't drink anything the day before. So we don't stop to go to the restroom. We're not stopping for some breakfast. We're men of God, we're gonna pass today. We're not stopping to get some dakis. We're not stopping for none of that. We will only stop to get gas. And if when we stop for gas, it better be a quick stop. Because we have a destination to get to. We have to get to a place by a certain time. I realize in the journey of faith, there are stops and pauses that we make along the way. And, you know, we need that to be refueled and renewed, so we can continue on this journey. The temptation we all face at times is turning a place of rest into a place of residence. It's settling in a place that you stop. It's just not okay to stay where you stop. I want to talk to you about a man that you probably never heard of. He's not a well-known character in scripture. But I believe he could have been a great man of God of faith. But he wasn't because he never finished the journey. In the middle of his journey, he stopped and settled where he stopped. He ended up building up a home, building a home. And he ended up dying in the place of his rest. This is the story of a man who retired in his rest area. It's okay to rest there. It's okay to have a little delay. It's okay to get hurt. It's just not okay when you turn it into a home. This is a story of a man that you probably never heard of. This is the story of a man that never saw the power of his potential. This is a story of a man that his dreams died in the place that he dwelled.

This is the story of a man named Tara. And we find his story in Genesis chapter 11. This is the account of Tara's family. Tara was the father of Abram. Well, we know this guy. [SPEAKING SPANISH] Abram. Abram. He later on has a name change. [SPEAKING SPANISH] And he becomes Abraham. [SPEAKING SPANISH] This is the father of faith. [SPEAKING SPANISH] A very popular person in scripture. [SPEAKING SPANISH] So we know Abraham. [SPEAKING SPANISH] But we don't-- I guess we just never met his father. [SPEAKING SPANISH] And he had two other sons. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And Huron was the father of Lot. [SPEAKING SPANISH] But Huron died in Ur, the land of his birth while his father, Terah, was still living. [SPEAKING SPANISH] And one day, Terah took his son, Abraham, and his daughter-in-law, Sarai, and his grandson-in-lot

and moved away from Ur. [SPEAKING SPANISH] And he was headed for the land of Canaan. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] That's the promised land. [SPEAKING SPANISH] That's the promised land. [SPEAKING SPANISH] The land that God will speak Abraham to go to. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Belong before Abraham made the journey. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] It was Terah who was on the way. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] But they stopped at Haran and settled there. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Terah died while still in Haran. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] He never made it.

[SPEAKING SPANISH] He settled in the place of his stop. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And the very next chapter. [SPEAKING SPANISH] The Lord has said to Abraham, "Leave your native country." [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Your relatives and your father's family and go to the land that I will show you. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] The verse continues. [SPEAKING SPANISH] So Abraham went as the Lord had told him. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And Abraham set out from Haran and they set out for the land of Canaan. [SPEAKING SPANISH]

[SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Teras stopped along the way. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] But Abraham finished the journey his father started. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And because of that, Abraham became the father of faith. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And got started working through his life. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And then even in scripture after that moment. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] When people refer to God. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] They would say the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] But what's interesting to me. [SPEAKING SPANISH]

[SPEAKING SPANISH] The long before Abraham made that journey. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Tera was on his way on that same journey. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] See, I don't know what motivated Tera to take that step. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] See, scripture is not clear on what motivated him to go on on this journey. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] But I find it impossible to believe. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] That is just a coincidence. [SPEAKING SPANISH] For someone to leave the comfort of their own land. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And make their way into the unknown.

[SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] To make their way specifically to the land of Canaan. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] It was a land located a thousand miles away. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] See, maybe God spoke to Tera. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] And Tera took that step. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] But if he would have finished that journey. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Maybe Tera would have been known as the father of faith. [SPEAKING SPANISH] Maybe just maybe people would have said. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] The god of Tera, Abraham and Isaac. [SPEAKING SPANISH]

[SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] You see Hebrew chapter 11 says that by faith Abraham left the land he knew. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] (speaking in foreign language) - You see, what's interesting to me. (speaking in foreign language) - Tarat in Hebrew. (speaking in foreign language) - It literally means. (speaking in foreign language) - Delay a station. (speaking in foreign language)

- To stop on the journey. (speaking in foreign language) - His name literally means gas station. (speaking in foreign language) - Wawa. (speaking in foreign language) - 7-Eleven. (speaking in foreign language) - A resting place. (speaking in foreign language) - A pausing place. (speaking in foreign language) - The man who stopped his name means stop. (speaking in foreign language) - So it makes sense why he stopped. (speaking in foreign language) - What's your name? (speaking in foreign language) - My name is Stop. (speaking in foreign language) - I just stop everywhere. (speaking in foreign language) - But the problem was not that he stopped. (speaking in foreign language) - But he ended up living in the place that he was simply meant to stop. (speaking in foreign language) - See, there was a man in Japan. (speaking in foreign language) - 54 years old.

(speaking in foreign language) - He was arrested. (speaking in foreign language) - Because he was caught living in the ceiling of a public restroom area. (speaking in foreign language) - And he was living there for three years. (speaking in foreign language) - Like that's impressive. (speaking in foreign language) - He had his heater there. (speaking in foreign language) - He had his storage for his clothes. (speaking in foreign language) - But the interesting thing. (speaking in foreign language) - Is that he, they found over 100 bottles of his urine in the attic. (speaking in foreign language) - You live over toilets. (speaking in foreign language) - Use the toilets. (speaking in foreign language) - And he, and some of you guys are looking at me and they're like, "Oh, it's so nasty." (speaking in foreign language) - Like that's, I can't believe he did that. (speaking in foreign language) - I think this is a picture of our life though. (speaking in foreign language)

- We end up living in places we were never called to live in. (speaking in foreign language) - And we settle. (speaking in foreign language) - We settle with our walk with God. (speaking in foreign language) - We settle with our walk with Jesus. (speaking in foreign language) - We've known God for a very long time. (speaking in foreign language) - Maybe you grew up in church. (speaking in foreign language) - But you find yourself now in the journey that you have settled. (speaking in foreign language) - Let me say it this way. (speaking in foreign language) - When you stop moving forward, you start to settle spiritually. (speaking in foreign language) - So we stop. (speaking in foreign language) - Stop, we stop serving. (speaking in foreign language) - We stop praying. (speaking in foreign language) - We stop coming to church. (speaking in foreign language) - We stop giving.

(speaking in foreign language) - And we just settle. (speaking in foreign language) - See, David said in Psalms 23. (speaking in foreign language) - The Lord is my shepherd. (speaking in foreign language) - He leads me. (speaking in foreign language) - Following Jesus always involves movement. (speaking in foreign language) - And if you're not moving, then you're not following. (speaking in foreign language) - But also David said he makes me lie down in green pastures. (speaking in foreign language) - In other words, there are seasons in our journey. (speaking in foreign language) - They were supposed to rest and were supposed to stop. (speaking in foreign language) - It's a place that we will be refueled. (speaking in foreign language) - But if you're not careful. (speaking in foreign language) - You will end up living in the place you were called just arrested. (speaking in foreign language) - Tara had a journey of 1,000 miles. (speaking in foreign language) - And he traveled 600 miles.

(speaking in foreign language) - That's more than halfway. (speaking in foreign language) - On his way to the promised land. (speaking in foreign language) - But he stopped in the middle. (speaking in foreign language) - He was so close. (speaking in foreign language) - I wonder how many people are so close to the promise. (speaking in foreign language) - But they stopped before they arrived. (speaking in foreign language) - See, I find three reasons why we stopped. (speaking in foreign language) - And I believe we find in the story of Tara. (speaking in foreign language) - Number one. (speaking in foreign language) - You write this down. (speaking in foreign language) - We stop because of our pain. (speaking in foreign language) - Because pain has a way of paralyzing our progress. - Like pain has a way of just keeping you stuck in a moment. (speaking in foreign language) - Pain has a way of you not being able to see what will happen next. (speaking in foreign language) - You don't know what's gonna happen out there.

(speaking in foreign language) - 10 years down the line. (speaking in foreign language) - Five years down the line. (speaking in foreign language) - You don't know what's gonna happen out there because you're focused in here. (speaking in foreign language) - You're focused in pain. (speaking in foreign language) - Look what happened in verse 28. (speaking in foreign language) - While his father, Tehran, was still alive, Haran died in earth. (speaking in foreign language) - So, Haran is the name of his youngest son. (speaking in foreign language) - And I cannot imagine. (speaking in foreign language) - The pain of a parent. (speaking in foreign language) - Of having to bury something they burst. (speaking in foreign language) - I cannot imagine the pain of a parent. (speaking in foreign language) - When you lose a child. (speaking in foreign language) - And for Torah. (speaking in foreign language) - His youngest son was taken from him.

(speaking in foreign language) - He doesn't have him no more. (speaking in foreign language) - He experiences this pain. (speaking in foreign language) - And some time goes on. (speaking in foreign language) - And then he begins his journey. (speaking in foreign language) - He's on his way to the promised land. (speaking in foreign language) - On his way to the land that God is calling them to go to. (speaking in foreign language) - And 600 miles in. (speaking in foreign language) - They come into a town. (speaking in foreign language) - Verse 31. (speaking in foreign language) - But when they came to. (speaking in foreign language) - Hey, what's the name of this town? (speaking in foreign language) - Haran. (speaking in foreign language) - The name, the same name of his dead son. (speaking in foreign language) - Oh, I'm reminded. (speaking in foreign language) - Of the pain that I walked through.

(speaking in foreign language) - Ah, I'm reminded. (speaking in foreign language) - Of what I don't have in my life anymore. (speaking in foreign language) - Haran. (speaking in foreign language) - My son. (speaking in foreign language) - In this city. (speaking in foreign language) - So he settled there. (speaking in foreign language) - He was, he had his eyes on the promised land. (speaking in foreign language) - But in the middle. (speaking in foreign language) - He was reminded of what he lost. (speaking in foreign language) - So he settles in a place. (speaking in foreign language) - It has the name of his greatest pain. (speaking in foreign language) - Haran. (speaking in foreign language) - And it's so hard to move forward. (speaking in foreign language) - And you know what Haran means? (speaking in foreign language) - It means mountain.

(speaking in foreign language) - Haran comes across a mountain of his pain. (speaking in foreign language) - And he finds it impossible to keep moving forward. (speaking in foreign language) - Because there's a mountain blocking my way. (speaking in foreign language) - And the truth is. (speaking in foreign language) - That sometimes it's easier to camp out in your pain than to climb over it. (speaking in foreign language) - Because I don't know how to get through this. (speaking in foreign language) - So I stop. (speaking in foreign language) - And I can't keep moving. (speaking in foreign language) - I don't know how to deal with it. (speaking in foreign language) - I don't know how to navigate through the pain. (speaking in foreign language) - I don't know how to move on. (speaking in foreign language) - It's a mountain of pain that I cannot climb. (speaking in foreign language) - See at some point of your journey. (speaking in foreign language) - You will arrive to a place of your life. (speaking in foreign language)

- That you feel like you're doing well. (speaking in foreign language) - But then you will be reminded in a moment. (speaking in foreign language) - Of the pain that you walked through. (speaking in foreign language) - Of the trauma you experienced. (speaking in foreign language) - And in some ways it would feel like you are reliving it again. (speaking in foreign language) - But can I tell you that we serve a God. (speaking in foreign language) - That he walks with you in the middle of pain. (speaking in foreign language) - That his grace is enough. (speaking in foreign language) - His love is enough. (speaking in foreign language) - His strength is enough. (speaking in foreign language) - And he will sustain you through the pain. (speaking in foreign language) - And he will carry you over the pain. (speaking in foreign language) But if you don't let God to heal your pain. (speaking in foreign language) You will end up settling in a painful place. (speaking in foreign language) And your hurts will become your home.

(speaking in foreign language) So we stop because of pain. (speaking in foreign language) Number two, we stop because of people. (speaking in foreign language) It's people that don't propel us to the purpose. (speaking in foreign language) But it's people that kind of pull us away. (speaking in foreign language) See verse 31. (speaking in foreign language) He was headed for the land of Canaan, but they stopped at Heron and settled there. (speaking in foreign language) He was headed to the promised land. (speaking in foreign language) He had his eyes on the promised land. (speaking in foreign language) But they stopped. (speaking in foreign language) Meaning that the man whose name means stopped. (speaking in foreign language) It wasn't even his idea to stop this time. (speaking in foreign language) It was their idea. (speaking in foreign language) And because they stopped. (speaking in foreign language) He stopped. (speaking in foreign language)

Because they settled. (speaking in foreign language) He settled. (speaking in foreign language) Some of you haven't figured out why you're living in the place you're not called to be in. (speaking in foreign language) Can I tell you that who you walk with matters. (speaking in foreign language) Who you ride with matters. (speaking in foreign language) Because this is the point here. (speaking in foreign language) You will never get to the right place if you travel with the wrong people. (speaking in foreign language) Because the wrong people. (speaking in foreign language) They'll convince you to take a detour. (speaking in foreign language) Even though you got a destination in your mind. (speaking in foreign language) They got a destination as well. (speaking in foreign language) You got your GPS? (speaking in foreign language) But they brought their own GPS. (speaking in foreign language) And they will convince you to take a turn. (speaking in foreign language)

And they'll convince you how to live your life. (speaking in foreign language) And how to raise your kids. (speaking in foreign language) And how you should spend your Sundays. (speaking in foreign language) And how to spend your money. (speaking in foreign language) Because they're not heading the place you're headed. (speaking in foreign language) If you travel with the wrong people, you never get to the right place. (speaking in foreign language) But if you travel with the right people. (speaking in foreign language) You will always get to the right place. (speaking in foreign language) Because the right people won't let you stop for too long. (speaking in foreign language) They'll stop and you guys can rest. (speaking in foreign language) But then at some point they will say, "Hey, I think you've rested enough." (speaking in foreign language) Don't why are you building a house here? (speaking in foreign language) We a keep moving. (speaking in foreign language) We gotta land to get to. (speaking in foreign language)

We gotta promise land to get to. (speaking in foreign language) You'll always get to the right place if you travel with the right people. (speaking in foreign language) Because relationships are like elevators. (speaking in foreign language) They're taking you up or they're taking you down? (speaking in foreign language) They're taking you going somewhere though. (speaking in foreign language) Are you going closer to the purpose of God's God? (speaking in foreign language) Or are you being pulled away into a pause? (speaking in foreign language) See, they stopped. (speaking in foreign language) And Tarah, he couldn't say no. (speaking in foreign language) Tarah, he ended his life. (speaking in foreign language) In the place of his pain. (speaking in foreign language) And in the place where the people he was with decided to stop. (speaking in foreign language) But what if he would have said something different? (speaking in foreign language) Hey, Tarah, we're gonna stop here. (speaking in foreign language)

But you know what? (speaking in foreign language) We're thinking of just actually settling here. (speaking in foreign language) Guys, no, God has called me to keep moving. (speaking in foreign language) We need to keep moving. (speaking in foreign language) Tarah, you can follow God there. (speaking in foreign language) But I think I could follow God here. (speaking in foreign language) Because honestly, Tarah. I won't follow God beyond this point. I love you guys, but God is calling me. I love you guys. But I gotta leave. Tara, are you saying you're better than us? Are you saying that God has something better for us? And if you don't want to walk with me. I can love you from the distance. But I gotta go to Canaan. And I'm taking my son with me. We're on our way to the promised land. He didn't. And he died short of his purpose. He never saw the potential come to pass. He stopped because of pain. We stopped because of people. And here's the last one.

Number three. We stopped because we forget to worship. He for Tara's journey. He came to an end. And then God speaks to his son. Abram. To complete the journey his father never did. Verse four. So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and he set out from Haran. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, I will give you this land to your descendants. And Abraham built an altar there where he dedicated to the Lord who had appeared to him. Yeah, Abraham, if he called you and he called you and said, I will give you this land. See, throughout scripture, we find this common theme, that when there's altars, there is worship, when there's altars, there's acknowledging of who God is, Abraham, he built an altar. But before Abraham and before, Tara, there was another famous guy, Noah, and after the flood, before he continued, he stopped and he built an altar. So we have Noah building an altar to worship God. We have Abram building an altar to worship God, but in the middle we have Tara. There is no mention of scripture of him building any altar. And for Abram, every time he stopped, he built an altar, which shows us something. Every season we wait, every pause needs a praise, because there will be moments that life will get so difficult, there will be moments that you will experience real pain. There will be moments that you will find yourself exhausted. And you don't know how to even keep moving forward. You can't even see yourself next week. You're just seeing the next hour. What's going to happen today? Because life will get difficult. There will be moments that your faith is wavering. There will be moments that you're doubting.

There will be moments that you don't know what to do. What will you do? What do you do when the stop comes? - I'm a praise God in the pause. (speaking in foreign language) - Look at the very next verse. (speaking in foreign language) - After that, Abraham traveled south and set up camp in the hill country. (speaking in foreign language) - And he built another altar. (speaking in foreign language) - And he dedicated to the Lord and he worshiped the Lord. (speaking in foreign language) - Because worship reminds me of where God brought me. (speaking in foreign language) - He brought me through the mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - He brought me through the pain. (speaking in foreign language) - He brought me through the fire. (speaking in foreign language) - He brought me through the storm. (speaking in foreign language) - But worship also reminds me where I'm going. (speaking in foreign language) - I got a destination. (speaking in foreign language) - And the GPS of my soul. (speaking in foreign language)

- And I won't live where I'm called just to stay for a little bit. (speaking in foreign language) - I got a land to get to. (speaking in foreign language) - I'll stop to get refueled. (speaking in foreign language) - See gas stations are there so you can refuel. (speaking in foreign language) - The moments that you pause. (speaking in foreign language) - You ought to worship God. (speaking in foreign language) - It can begin to refuel your life. (speaking in foreign language) - But some of us are trying to make the journey. (speaking in foreign language) - Without connecting to the source. (speaking in foreign language) - So no wonder I feel so tired. (speaking in foreign language) - No wonder I feel like this is a burden. (speaking in foreign language) - Because I'm running on empty. (speaking in foreign language) - I'm moving forward but I have no gas. (speaking in foreign language) - My joy is on empty. (speaking in foreign language) - My strength is on empty.

(speaking in foreign language) - I lost my passion. (speaking in foreign language) - I'm exhausted. (speaking in foreign language) - And you're trying to make progress. (speaking in foreign language) - Without his presence. (speaking in foreign language) - But when we stop. (speaking in foreign language) - See Abram saw his father stop and never worship. (speaking in foreign language) - He said no, no. I'm a stop and I'm a worship. (speaking in foreign language) - Next chapter. (speaking in foreign language) - So Abram moved this camp to Hebron. There he built another altar to the Lord. (speaking in foreign language) - Every stop. (speaking in foreign language) - Every time I have to build a camp. (speaking in foreign language) - I'm a stop and I'm a worship. (speaking in foreign language) - I'm a connect with God. (speaking in foreign language) - I'm a acknowledge who he is.

(speaking in foreign language) - Because he's the one calling my name. (speaking in foreign language) - But look what happens in chapter 22. (speaking in foreign language) - When they arrive at the place where God had told them to go Abram, Abraham built an altar. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - But this time is different. (speaking in foreign language) - He has his son. (speaking in foreign language) - Isaac. (speaking in foreign language) - And God tells Abraham. (speaking in foreign language) - Go up this mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - With your son. (speaking in foreign language) - And build an altar. (speaking in foreign language) - And offer a sacrifice. (speaking in foreign language) - But the problem is. (speaking in foreign language) - He sees his son. (speaking in foreign language) - But he sees no land.

(speaking in foreign language) - He sees no animal. (speaking in foreign language) - For the sacrifice. (speaking in foreign language) - So as he's walking up. (speaking in foreign language) - His heart is pounding. (speaking in foreign language) - Because he thinks he's going to lose his son on this mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - This story is sounding very familiar. (speaking in foreign language) - Tara faced a mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - That reminded him of his dead son. (speaking in foreign language) - And now Abraham is facing the mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - And he thinks he's about to lose his son. (speaking in foreign language) - Abraham. (speaking in foreign language) - What are you gonna do? (speaking in foreign language) - Because this moment you're in right now. (speaking in foreign language) - It's the same moment your father was in. (speaking in foreign language)

- But your father didn't make it past this point. (speaking in foreign language) - Your father didn't make it past the mountain. (speaking in foreign language) - Your father didn't make it past the mountain. Your father gave up. Because it was too hard for him. Abraham, what are you going to do? We will worship and we will come back to you. I don't know how I'm going to do it. And because of that, God provided a lamb, a ram, for the sacrifice, and in verse 16, God tells Abraham, "Because you have obeyed me, I will surely bless you, and I will bless your descendants." You see, worship has a way of pushing you through the mountain. And worship has a way of getting you through mountains. It's when you worship, God when things don't make sense. It's when you praise God, and you don't even feel like praising God. It's when you come to church when you feel like not coming to church. See, worship has a way of pushing you through mountains. But Abraham kept moving because worship was part of the solution. So what do you do? When you come across a mountain, you can't climb. And you're forced to stop. I'm going to praise him in the past. I'm going to worship him in the waiting. And God's strength and God's power is enough for me and he will carry me through every mountain. He will carry me through any valley. Come on, he's the good shepherd, the he leads me, he leads me, so don't settle where you stop.
