♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ Good morning church. Welcome to you who are watching online. And it's a joy to be celebrating together this morning. To be celebrating what God has done this past year. And what he will do this upcoming year. There's something important every year. And that's remembering why it is that we do what we do. We try to do this as a family as well. To know where it is we're going in our mission with the Lord. And so for many of you, maybe it's your first Vision Sunday. And maybe you could be wondering, what is this Vision Sunday? Could it be they're going to give us some kind of special revelation today? If that was your expectation, maybe you might leave a little disappointed. But what we are going to do is tell you where it is we're going as a church. That there are clear things that we see in the Scriptures. That God has promised to advance conformed to his will. And so for over a decade, Fellowship has had this time of prayer as elders. And in the heart of Fellowship, we have this vision. That we want to be a church in multiple places. Multi-ethnical and multi-generational. With eight campuses in central Arkansas. Sixty churches planted. One hundred missionary associates or partners. Locally and globally. With the vision of discipling worshipers who love Jesus. Who follow Jesus and live in his transforming grace. In such a way that the Gospel would be proclaimed to over a hundred thousand people here in central Arkansas and beyond.

Why is it important for us to remember this church? Because when we start to see what it is that will happen at our church this upcoming year. You'll see that God is bringing about what it is that he promised. And that he's going to bring salvation to the nation. And if somebody has a doubt of that, just look around you this morning. Or just look above and you'll see many of the countries represented here in our church. Or just go on one of those mission trips with us that we take as a church and see what it is God is doing. And so this dream that God has given us is a dream that he said that he will do. Which is to multiply the Gospel to the nations. And I want us to see evidence of that in one of the campuses that recently opened. Y queremos ver ese video para que celebremos juntos. And so let's check out this video so we can celebrate together. We are a place of six campuses, but today that changes. We're excited that we are launching Fellowship North Little Rock. Let's go. Fellowship North Little Rock. I want to welcome you to the very first Federal Symbol of Mother Earth service, but we've been praying and praying for years for this very moment, and I think God is on the move. What you see tonight is the culmination of the fact that God has been bringing people into our story, into our midst, into our church, and they're using their gifts, they're serving, is kind of a big picture of the story that's happening. I'm Garrett, this is Maddie, and we are the Gouldsby's. I think we saw a Facebook post about interest meetings that they were doing at a community center in North Little Rock. During that time, it was kind of an invitation not to just attend the church, but also to get involved and serve, because they needed as much help as they could get. When we first started helping serve at the North Little Rock campus, I was a part of the Connections team, and I saw Alan just running around like a madman, trying to get pictures like last minute, constantly just be holding the camera over everybody's heads and just snapping a quick shot, and he was just running around, and I was just like, well, I mean, I do this as a full-time job, I might as well just help out here and do

it at this campus. Really in any way that Alan sort of needed help, we would try to be available and help with things. I'm Olivia, nice to meet you. My name is Sherika McKeever, and I was born and raised here in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Being a part of a church launch, like just from the ground up, I've embraced that. I've never experienced anything like that. It's amazing. It's such a wonderful experience to see a group of people take what they know in their heart that God is telling them to do and step out with no church home, no building, no address. When they started talking about interest and serving and volunteers, I mean, quite naturally, I was like, I'll help with the kids' ministry, you know, and so I have, and I've been helping serve in the kids' ministry since we've launched. Just every single thing you do, every second that you have, meet people, welcome them, let them know we're so thankful they're here. So for the last week, we have been praying, we have been asking that God would provide the right space and the right location in our community to be able to serve Him. And so there were long nights of prayer, and we're excited to let you know that we are in week two of meeting at Park Hill Presbyterian Church. And so we're excited that we're able to meet weekly, not just monthly. We're gathering kids. We've launched fellowship students at this point. And as you see this video, we are gathering as Fellowship North Little Rock during a service as you're worshiping, we're worshiping as the Seventh Campus of Fellowship. And so we're so thankful for your prayers and excited to see what God's going to do in the future. What a joy, church, to see what God is doing at the North Little Rock campus. And when we see what it is God's doing, we have to remember that that represents people. It represents families. It represents children that are hearing the message of salvation that's so necessary,

especially in the days that we're living. And when we see the faithfulness of God, we can look at the future with hope. We can know that if He's been with us all this time, we will continue in His favor as long as we continue with Him. And something incredible that's going to happen this upcoming year is that we'll celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Lord has been faithful to Fellowship for these five decades. And we as Fellowship en Español are going to be there on August 22nd at the State House Convention. center and so we'll bring all seven campuses together in that place celebrating the goodness of God. And so be sure to write that down in your calendar. And I'd like to invite one of our elders here at fellowship, brother Dave Kella who's been married nearly 46 years with his beautiful wife Susan and they've been an incredible blessing to our Spanish campus. Four children and 12 grandchildren. He's been practicing that C a lot. So Dave, why don't you tell us what it is God has done at fellowship in Español this year? Well, we have a tremendous amount to celebrate as a church. Just praise God for what he's done. Look at the numerous gospel conversations that are happening. The professions of faith, the baptisms. The new members who are committed to our church. The discipleship activities, the classes, the spiritual growth that's come from all that. And this morning I wanted to talk about a couple of just very specific praises. First, your generosity. Last year our budget was $200,000. Our giving totaled $151,000. If that was your household, we'd have a problem. But I'll tell you a little bit about the household we're in as a church in a few minutes.

Although we missed our budget, there's a lot to celebrate in this. That $151,000 is a 25% increase over last year. It's the most ever given in the history of our campus. I just praise God for his faithfulness through each one of you. This year our budget is bigger. It's $225,000. How do you do that? You do that because we're part of one church that invests in smaller campuses that are growing. It's the blessing of seven campuses. And we just thank God for that and we thank our church for that. And obviously we thank you for that. A second praise involves our initiative to connect with students and families at Southwest High School. Through our patient and consistent presence at the school, through Jose Romero's leadership of a school-sponsored Latino mentorship program, so hear me again, the school is sponsoring a pastor to mentor their kids. Being adopted by their soccer team basically as their chaplain. Being able to help with translation at the school's interaction with families who don't speak English. Just through those small activities we've developed trust that has opened up even more opportunities into this year. Construir la confianza con las escuelas. Our ultimate goal is to deepen our relationships with families in order to connect them to the gospel and to fellowship. Y esos paquetes llevaban el evangelio a más de 21,000 prisioneros en el estado de Arkansas. And these care packages took the gospel to over 21,000 prisoners across the state of Arkansas. And this opened the door so that our services could be brought through an application to thousands of prisoners around the state as well. Y esa semana recibí una carta. And if he's watching, we want you to know that we're praying for you. Es increíble que a través de algo tan pequeño. And it's incredible that through something so small. He tells us that he's from Honduras. Alfredo's country, from El Ceiba. Y dice que él está en un tiempo muy difícil y que él ve los servicios dominicales cada domingo. And he says that he's in a really difficult situation, but he sees our service every Sunday. Que no tiene muchas personas, no tiene amigos en este país. He doesn't have many people. He doesn't have any friends in this country. No tiene quien le visite. He doesn't have anyone who comes to visit him. Pero que el 22 de agosto, el 2022, él dedicó su vida a seguir a Jesús. But on August 22nd of 2022, he gave his life to Christ. Y dice que todo ha cambiado en su vida. And he says that everything has changed in his life. Y dice, le pido por favor que me tengan en oración. And he asks that we would keep him in prayer. Porque estar en la prisión es muy difícil. Because being in prison is very difficult. Bendiciones a su vida y a toda la familia de Fellowship. He says blessings to Alfredo's family and to the whole Fellowship community. And I wanna take a moment to share why God brought me here today. My dad is strong and wise. And throughout his 26 years of service to our country, he set an incredible example for our family. However, while military life has brought us so many blessings, it's also been the hardest part of our life. The first time I remember my father being deployed, I was three years old. This led to some of my earliest memories being filled with anxiety and fear. This constant state of nervousness controlled every part of my life. In middle school, I started battling depression and I could never quite find peace. I was lost and alone and began searching for my worth and other people That led into high school, which made me incredibly vulnerable to peer pressure. I Made some bad decisions and didn't treat those around me with love and no matter where I was in the midst of it all I still always felt fear and anxiety That was until October of 2023 when I hit an all-time low and Jesus found me on my bathroom floor

Where he saved my life He wrapped his arms around me and played my life back to me in my head The life I'd been ungrateful for that. I hated all of he showed me the underlying beauty in every moment I've ever taken for granted and For one of the first times in 15 years. I didn't feel anxious a Month later one of my friends invited me to FSM at Midtown What felt like nothing more than an invitation changed my whole life? And now three years later she's here That alone is something I could never have planned or imagined Ava simply did what the Lord calls us to do. She planted the seed and God in his perfect timing watered it What started as a simple invite turned into a friendship that means everything to me She's now not only my best friend in the world, but my sister in Christ at Midtown following that invitation Within the walls of the church and the gym below it. I found the peace the Lord showed me the night that he saved me But peace isn't all he gifted me He gave me freedom from anxiety freedom from sin He gave me a better relationship with my parents. He gave me the best friends and Most importantly he gave me a new life That's why I've chosen to be baptized today not because it saves me but because he saved me Today's not what about not about what I've done But about what he's done in my life and will continue to do Today, I'm up here not to proclaim my faithfulness, but to publicly testify to his Do you confess that Jesus lived and died for your sins? Yes, do you confess that Jesus was raised from the dead and is now Lord of your life You Wow, what a story of redemption by a story that Redemption, you know, it's a story of hope That's only available through Jesus Christ Yes, when I started Esperanza que solo esta disponible a través de Cristo Jesus, you know I'm just thinking about our involvement at Southwest High School. And so, we'd like to share four initiatives

that we'll have as a church. The first having to do with the word of God. In the scriptures, it calls us to guard his word in our hearts, to hide his word in our hearts. And so, we're not just called to recite it, we're called to hide it in our hearts. But we know that this can only happen when we spend time in the word. And so, because of that, one of our initiatives as a church this year will be the memorization of the scriptures. And glory to God that we would be a church who seeks him through the scriptures. And the world in which we live, it's so easy for people to say, God told me this, or God told me that. But there's nothing greater than what God has already spoken in his word. Therefore, over this next year as a church, we're going to commit, as a church, to memorize and to meditate upon a scripture every month. And by the end of the year, we'll have at least 10 passages memorized. We want to be a church that is saturated in the scriptures. And that loves the word, and that by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live in accordance to his word. And Jose is going to give us the rest of our initiatives. What a beautiful Sunday, right? Bueno, yo tengo la bendición de hablarles de una iniciativa que es para el Sistema de Cuidado Temporal de los Niños. And I have the privilege of telling you this morning about an initiative having to do with foster care. It's a system in Arkansas with so much need. There are over 3,000 children in this system. But there are only 1,680 homes. And so the necessity is so big. They need families, and they need defenders of these families, support for these families, and volunteers to provide nights of rest for these families. También hay más de 1,200 miembros del personal del Departamento de Servicios para Niños y Familias. And there's over 1,600 people who work in this system to help these families. And they do the difficult work to support and to defend these families. Y estas personas, tan solo las familias y los trabajadores, necesitan sentirse valorados y celebrados. And these people who do this difficult work, them and their families need to feel valued and celebrated. Necesitan saber que son importantes y que lo que hacen tienen gran valor. This system is a visible reflection of the sin that there is in our world. But it's also a great opportunity

for us to respond with the hope that we have through the gospel. And even though the need is big, we have a bigger God who can do all things. And he does it for his glory. And so, we as a church want to get involved in this system in two different ways. And the first way is to serve. We'll have nights where we can support the families and the children who are involved in this system. And the second one is to celebrate. And the second one is to celebrate, we'll have nights where we can celebrate the families and what it is they're doing with these children. And that's going to be during the month of October. And the dinner for families is going to be the 14th of November. And so, mark your calendars to be able to support at that event. The third initiative in which Jonas mentioned that we'll participate in is going to be the weekend of spiritual renovation. And so, one of the things is we have these calendars that are just so busy. And that makes it difficult to be able to renew our strengths, to recharge our hearts, to refocus our attention. But even more important, to connect with He who is able to sustain us. And so that He can strengthen us. And so that He can do more in us than we could even think or imagine. We know that we need that church. And maybe you haven't felt that need, but God's Word says that we need that and that we need the Holy Spirit. And so, we'll have a conference this year. There you have the dates. And when we worship together, we'll worship together. We'll have a time of communion together. We'll have an invited pastor who can encourage us in the Word.

We'll have a time of rest, a rest that we so need. And so, church, you'll need to make plans to be a part of this time of spiritual renewal. And so, the last one has to do with continuing in the Word of God. You know, as Scripture says, commands, husbands, love your wives as Christ has loved the church. And maybe we as husbands think, that's an impossible assignment. I don't say that because of my wife. But also, it says, wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. And this is where maybe our sisters will say, yes, that is the impossible assignment. We know, church, that marriage is not easy. And the one who says it's easy most likely is not currently married. But nevertheless, we know that marriage is a gift from God. It's a way in which he sanctifies us and he teaches us to love. And that's why our fourth initiative is to strengthen marriages through this program that's called Re-Engage. And you might be thinking, well, we don't have problems. This program, church, is not just for marriages that are in crisis. It's for every couple that would like to grow and heal. Comunicarse mejor y mantener a Cristo en el centro de sus vidas. That would like to communicate better and keep Christ at the center of their marriage. Nuestro pastor Alfredo y su esposa Kate estarán guiándonos junto con un grupo de líderes. Dios es poderoso para transformar familias, para transformar la vida de estudiantes, para tocar personas en la prisión que nos ven semana a semana, para transformar vidas en Honduras cuando vamos en viaje misionero, para transformar vidas en Honduras cuando we go on mission trips, pero cuando Pablo le dice a la iglesia en Efesios, but when Paul says to the church in Ephesus, que Dios tiene un plan para cambiar vidas de personas de judíos y gentiles, that God has a plan to change the lives of both Jews and Gentiles. He says please don't grow weary, don't grow faint. Y ahí en ese momento le dice que no se desmayen porque él estaba en prisión en Roma en ese momento. And he tells them this because in this moment he's in prison in Rome. And it's probable that they could feel discouraged to think, wow, if he who serves God so much is in this kind of situation, how much worse off are we going to be? Y entonces empieza en el versículo 14 por esta causa. And he starts in verse 14 with the phrase, for this reason. Por esta causa que les he dicho que no desmayen, que no se den por vencidos. That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his spirit in your inner being. the fullness of God. Para que seáis llenos hasta la medida de toda la plenitud de Dios. That's a prayer church. Paul knows that the call to serve the Lord is going to be difficult. He knows that fellowship in Espanol, our campus and all the other campuses, will have difficulty. He knows that people will experience sickness. He knows that people will go through financial hardship. He knows that parents will argue with their children. And that in the midst of all of this, he asked the Lord that he would give them strength. I don't know if you've noticed, but through the whole service we've been saying we need the strength of the Lord. Because when trials come, when temptations come, when we fail those trials, when we fail in the midst of those temptations, we need the strength of the Lord. And I love this idea of the strength of the Lord. Because it's linked to this attribute of God that he is all powerful. And I imagine this morning, you can imagine that if I had a bank account with no limit to it, for some of us, you're just imagining it, you feel a sense of relief. Maybe some of you have that. I don't know. We don't really have that. But we have something even better. We have something even better. It says, in accordance with the riches of his strength, be strengthened. We have talked about this, church, that many times what we're most missing is strength. Strength even just to get out of bed and face the day. If you had that bank account with infinite funds, you would get up and you would go and you would buy whatever it is you needed or wanted without even thinking about it. The Lord calls us to do impossible things. And what if I were to tell you that you have access to a spiritual bank account of strength that never runs out?

But pastor, the bills are coming. You have spiritual strength. And when you run into those difficult circumstances with that type of mentality, it doesn't mean that those problems just disappear magically. It means that your confidence is no longer set in your own strength, but rather it's based in the infinite source of strength. Church, we need that strength so badly. The problem is that when we go into those situations, it's not that there's not strength available to us, but rather that we go by our own strength and our own strength runs out so quickly. But it says that that strength is available to us that Christ would abide in our hearts. And it's that Christ abides in our hearts when we believe in him. That's something that we should constantly cultivate in our lives. The fact that we have the Lord in our hearts doesn't mean that we always We submit to his will in our lives. That's why we need strength to conquer sin in our lives. And that's why it says that that strength is through the work of the Holy Spirit in my heart. That's why God puts the local church around sinners who are seeking that strength from the Lord so that we can be rooted in love. The only thing that can motivate that level of strength has to be the love of God. When we say that we want to reach people with the love of Christ, if it's by obligation you're trying to reach people for Christ, your strength will run out like that. But if it's a deep love for those people through Christ, you're going to want nothing more than to bring them to Christ. If it's a problem with sin that you want God to transform in your life, the only fuel is the love for Christ and the love of Christ for you. And Paul knew that God was going to respond to this prayer. I would ask you, are you praying to the Lord in this way? Are you asking him for strength?

So that he who is able to fill you, when we pray in this way, we pray to a God who is able to do far more than we could even think or imagine. Church, it doesn't mean that things are always going to be exactly how we want them to be. But it does mean that God is going to be in the midst of every single one of those difficult situations. And as the worship team comes forward, I want us to read these last two verses together on our feet. Because this is the theme for our church this year.
