What did this week cost you to face?

You made it through Week 1 of RECKONING.

This was a heavier week than anything in Volumes 1 or 2. We asked you to look at the day you don’t want to remember. To tell the un-edited story. To confess specifically. To distinguish between sorry-you-got-caught and actually sorry. That’s a lot.

Same Checkpoint format. No teaching. No Move. Questions and space.

LOOK BACK

  • What did this week cost you to face? (Be honest. It cost something.)
  • What’s the day you’ve been avoiding? Did you start to look at it?
  • Did you confess one specific thing? What was it like?
  • What surprised you about your own story when you started telling it un-edited?
  • Did you actually do the Moves?
  • What did you want to argue with us about this week?

SIT WITH

“When I kept silent, my bones wasted away … Then I acknowledged my sin to you … and you forgave the guilt of my sin.” — Psalm 32:3, 5

Silence destroys you. Acknowledging releases you. He’s been waiting.

LOOK AHEAD

Next week is the apology week. We’ll spend most of it on what you owe other people. Day 8 is The List — making the list of names you owe an apology to. Days 9–13 are about how to actually do that work — when you can apologize in person, when you can’t, when the person is dead, when the person is off-limits, when they’ll never accept it. We’ll also talk about restitution — what it means and what to do.

This is going to be hard. Take it slow. Tell someone trustworthy you’re doing this work. If you don’t have someone, write us.

Don’t skip ahead. Don’t double up. Just show up.

WRITE

What’s one specific thing you want to confess this week, but haven’t?

That’s all. See you tomorrow.
