You know the day. You don’t have to write it down.

We’re going to look at it together. Carefully. Slowly. Not to torture you. To take its power away.

TODAY’S TRUTH The day you can’t think about is the one you have to face. It loses its power when you stop running.

THE READ “For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.” — Psalm 51:3

David wrote this after he slept with Bathsheba and arranged her husband’s death. The worst thing he ever did. He said: I know what I did. It’s always there.

That’s not denial. That’s reckoning.

In your own words — what's this saying to you?

THE REAL Most of us have a day we try not to think about. The day we did the thing. The day the thing was done to us. The day everything tipped.

We’ve been spending years trying to keep that day out of our heads. We’ve gotten good at it. We can change subjects in our own minds in less than a second when it tries to come up.

The trying-not-to-think-about-it is exhausting. It’s also why we drink, use, work, scroll, sleep around, fight, run. We’re not running from boredom. We’re running from the day.

You can’t outrun it forever. It catches you eventually. In a quiet moment. In a dream. In a smell that reminds you. In a person who looks like the person.

The only thing you can do with the day, ultimately, is face it.

We’re not going to do all of it today. We’re just going to acknowledge: there is a day. You know what it is. You’ve been spending energy avoiding it. That avoidance has a cost.

For 30 days, you’re going to face it. Slowly. Carefully. With God in the room.

It’s going to be the hardest 30 days of the series. It’s also going to be the freest 30 days you’ve ever had on the other side.

PULL UP What’s the day? You don’t have to write it down. Just admit it to yourself: I know which day this is.

Write it out — don't just think it:

THE MOVE Today, when the day comes up in your head, don’t push it away. Don’t go into it either. Just let it sit there for a few seconds. Say to God: “I know You see this. I’m starting to look at it too.”

Did it today?  ☐ Yes   ☐ Not yet — what happened when you did?

TRACK IT Did you let it sit?
