Before any of the people in your life had a chance to hurt you, label you, or shape you — there was a version of you that just was.

That version still exists.

TODAY’S TRUTH You were known by God before anyone else got near you.

THE READ “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” — Jeremiah 1:5

God said that to Jeremiah. He says it about you too.

In your own words — what's this saying to you?

THE REAL Stop and feel that for a second. Before you were born, He knew you. Before the dad who left. Before the mom who couldn’t cope. Before the teacher who told you you were stupid. Before the system that processed you. Before the relationship that broke you. Before the substance that owned you. Before the thing you did. Before you became who you are now.

He knew you then. The original you. The you that wasn’t reactive yet. The you that wasn’t hurt yet. The you that hadn’t built up walls yet.

That version is what He’s working back to.

This is hard for some of us. The original you might feel impossibly far away. So much has happened. So much has been built up. So much has been broken. The idea that there’s a version of you underneath all that, untouched, can feel like a cruel joke.

It’s not.

The you that God knew before anyone else met you — that’s your real self. The version you’re becoming again, slowly, through this work, is closer to that than the version you’ve been performing your whole life.

You’re not becoming someone new. You’re becoming who you actually were.

PULL UP Imagine the version of you before anyone got their hands on you. What was that kid like? (If you can’t remember, imagine.)

Write it out — don't just think it

THE MOVE Today, do one thing that kid would have liked. Eat something they liked. Listen to something. Look at something beautiful for a minute.

Did it today?  ☐ Yes   ☐ Not yet — what happened when you did?

TRACK IT What did you do?
