Day 37: Whose voice is loudest in your head? | The Walk Out

You made it through Week 1 of Volume 2.

Identity work is harder than it looks. We’ve spent six days picking apart names you’ve been carrying for years. Today is for catching your breath.

Same Checkpoint format you know from Volume 1. No teaching day. No Move. Just questions and space.

LOOK BACK

  • Of the six days you read this week, which one hit you hardest? Why?
  • What name have you been answering to that you didn’t even realize you were answering to?
  • Whose voice is loudest in your head right now? Be specific. Whose actual voice?
  • What story are you starting to recognize as somebody else’s story, not yours?
  • Did you actually do the Moves?
  • What did you want to argue with us about this week?

SIT WITH

“I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1

He knows your name. The real one. Not the one in your file.

LOOK AHEAD

Next week we go deeper into where you came from before anyone got their hands on you. We talk about being made in God’s image (and what that actually means, not the church-school version). We talk about the lies you’ve believed about yourself for so long they feel like facts. We talk about trauma and gifts — and how neither one is your identity. We talk about why your job, your title, and your number aren’t you either.

It’s heavier work. Don’t skip ahead. Don’t double up. Just show up.
