This episode marks an exciting shift from the Old Testament to the New Testament in a year-long journey through the Bible. Many new believers start with the New Testament, especially the book of John, but understanding the Old Testament’s foundational stories can deepen the experience. The New Testament introduces Jesus as a fulfillment of over 300 prophecies, portraying him as a new Adam, Moses, and David. It unfolds a new exodus of salvation and establishes the church as God’s new temple, filled with the presence of God.

The New Testament is organized into the Gospels, which tell the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, followed by Acts, which documents the early church’s growth. The letters, or epistles, provide guidance from Paul and other apostles to early Christians, teaching how to live and worship in faith. The final book, Revelation, offers a prophetic vision of Christ’s victory and the hope of a new creation. Together, the Old and New Testaments point to God’s plan of salvation through Jesus, inspiring readers to explore the Bible with renewed passion and anticipation.
