Christmas Peace | The Missing Peace | Shoreline Church | Pastor Rob Koke
🎄 **Finding Christmas Peace in a Busy World**
Peace can feel so elusive, especially during the holiday season. But the good news is that Jesus came to bring peace—**peace with God, peace with ourselves, and peace with others**. This week, we explored what it means to truly experience the "Prince of Peace" and live in His rest, even in the midst of life’s challenges.
✨ **Key Scriptures:**
- *Isaiah 9:6*: “For unto us a child is born… Prince of Peace.”
- *Romans 5:1*: “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
- *Colossians 3:15*: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
- *Matthew 11:28–29*: “Come to me, all you who are weary… I will give you rest.”
- *2 Kings 6:16–17*: Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes that he may see.”
🕊️ **What We Learned:**
1. **Peace with God** (*Spiritual Peace/Eternal Peace*):
- The foundation for all peace is reconciliation with God.
- Christmas reminds us of God’s gift of salvation and forgiveness through Jesus.
2. **Peace with Yourself** (*Emotional Peace/Internal Peace*):
- Let the peace of God rule in your heart, even in the middle of struggles.
- There is peace for every problem—comfort, guidance, forgiveness, and confidence.
3. **Peace with Others** (*Relational Peace/External Peace*):
- Jesus’ sacrifice enables us to embrace one another and end hostility.
- When we are at peace with God, it changes how we interact with others.
🕊️ **How to Receive Christmas Peace:**
1. **Clarity**: Ask God to open your eyes to see things as they truly are.
2. **Humility**: Recognize that all you have and all you are comes from Him.
3. **Trust**: Surrender your life to Jesus, trusting in His ability to carry your burdens and give you rest.
đź’ˇ **Practical Takeaway:**
This week, take time to pray for clarity, humility, and trust. Let the Prince of Peace bring rest to your soul.
