Anybody had a rough week? Let's open our hearts and praise, praise, praise until we get that breakthrough. God is here to do something for you in your life.

So we're gonna jump right back into worship. We're gonna open our hearts, we're gonna praise the Lord until we get that breakthrough. Pastor's gonna deliver a word that has something just for you. So open your hearts, receive what the Lord has brought you here for today. And let's just, let's just give God the glory that he deserves. Jesus. Amen. You know, we have been a church for, I had mentioned in Bible study, we completely dropped the ball and forgot our 15th anniversary for the church. It was May 15th. So, 15 years. You know, they say statistically most churches will fall apart. 80% of churches by four years, usually by year two. So the fact that we're year 15 says something good. You know, amen.

It is you, Lord God, that saves us from whatever darkness we were taken out of. We give you all the honor and all the glory. You are the good shepherd. You are the good father, Lord God. We thank you so much, Lord God. You are the one, Lord God, that went leaving the 99 and going seeking the one, Lord God. You called our name and when you found us, you put us over your shoulders and carried us home. We thank you, Lord. We honor you. We glorify you. We adore you, Lord. We love you in Jesus' name. If you came because of Pando and Edovo. Amen. Amen. Thank you, guys. Amen. All right. Oh, man. I'm excited. I'm excited because we're going to start a sermon series for the next few weeks.

And I believe it's going to be transforming and eye-opening. It's going to be a few weeks of looking in the mirror, realizing how far you've came, and even seeing how far you still have to go. Today's message is titled, or today's sermon series is Our Story is His Story. And if you have your Bibles, hold them up. This is my Bible. It is God's word to me, my guide and my strength. I bring it ready to learn. I open it with faith in Jesus. I live it with courage. Without it, I grow weak. With it, I grow strong. Today, I bring it, believe it, and obey it. In Jesus' name, amen, amen. Our sermon series is titled, Our Story is His Story. And I want to share this scripture in Revelation chapter 12, 9 through 11. The book of Revelation, for those who don't know, it's in the back of the book. Chapter 12, 9 through 11. All right. Revelation chapter 12, 9 through 11 says this. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent who was called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven

say, now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And here's the verse I want to get to. And they conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. For they love not their lives even unto death. The enemy is conquered by the blood of Jesus and the testimony. It is important that we share our testimony. It is important. Yes, it's great if you are a biblical teacher, a pastor, a preacher. But you might not know how to put a sermon together. You might not know, but you know your story, what God has done for you. It is the testimony. Remember when Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman? And when she realized who he was, she ran to go tell everyone in her town. Remember the man that was full of demons, Legion? What did he do? The moment he got delivered, he says, Lord, let me follow you. He says, no, go back and tell them what the Lord has done for you. He didn't sit there and said, give me a Bible study. Give me this.

Jesus told them, go and share your story. And because of the testimony, it brought people. So many times when I was first saved that people would want to get in debates with me about Islam, about this, about that. Because where I was at, there was all kinds of different faiths. And I remember going in circles, and they were talking about, well, the Bible's been changed. And I'm like, no, it hasn't, and back and forth. And finally, I said, listen, neither of us were alive. I can't sit here and tell you that I saw the apostle John writing John. You can't sit here and tell me about the Quran or whatever it is or whoever it was I was debating with. I said, but I do know this is a fact. I know my testimony and what God has done for me. I know who I used to be. I know who I am now. I know the change that came over me and you can argue what God has done in my life. I said, can you do the same? Because I see you praying five days a week, but I still see you acting the same way you told me you used to act before you got in prison. We're over here arguing about stuff that was hundreds of years ago. Man, let's talk about our life now. Because I could tell you all day long what Jesus has done for me.

And they conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. Over the next few weeks in this sermon series, we are going to hear different stories from people in this church family. They're going to share their story. Stories are gonna be different. Experiences are gonna be different. But what brings us together is that they are all in his story. All of us. Because it's about Jesus. It will always be about Jesus. Our testimony is never to exalt ourselves. You know, it gets silly. It's like, oh man, I used to be the craziest guy. I used to be the man. Hold on, are you glorifying yourself or are you sharing about Jesus? Because your story should always be about his story. Because if it wasn't for him, neither of us would be here today. We always gotta make sure our testimony is pointing to Jesus. Because he's the one that we adore. He's the one that we honor. And he's the one that we should always talk about. No matter what. You know, a lot of times people chase after titles. They wanna be the prophet, the evangelist,

the pastor, the, I got a doctorate degree. I got this, I got that. And man, that stuff doesn't matter. There's only one title that matters and that's the king of kings and the lord of lords. That's the only title that matters. You know, and so we wanna start this sermon series and I figure since I'm gonna kick it off, I wanna share a little bit of my story. And I know many of you have heard it, so I'm hoping to hit some parts that maybe you've never heard. You know, because I think it's important that we get to know the redemption of God and what he does because he can take the most wicked people. How do I know that? Because we're all here. And then we want to take that story and find someone in the Bible that it relates to or is similar to. And you know, as I was sitting, thinking about what I was gonna talk about today and looking at my story from standing back and looking at it, I'm like, okay, who do I compare it to? And I was like, man, I hope it compares to King David who killed the Goliath. I'm like, yeah, my story don't fit that. Man, you know, so I'm like, well, you know what? What about Moses, man? I mean, the Red Sea opened and I was like looking at my,

yeah, that's not my story either. And then I was reading Judges. I'm like, oh, maybe Samson, man. Samson was strong. And I was reading, I'm like, yeah, I don't fit that story either. I'm like, so I'm looking for all my heroes. You know what I'm saying? I ran out of them. I'm like, who's, what's going on here? You know, and then I found the one that relates to me. And we'll get into it in a minute. You know, I just want you to know that I didn't grow up in a single parent house. I had both parents. I didn't grow up on welfare. I grew up in a family of field workers. You know, my dad was a farmer. We didn't have much, but we weren't on welfare. We weren't on food stamps. I didn't know what food stamps was, you know, because my dad worked hard and he would come home really dusty and dirty from the fields every single day so he could feed us and keep the electricity on. And that was my, to me, that was, you know, that's what I saw growing up, a working father and a mother that raised us boys. I don't have no sisters. It's just three boys, three brothers, I mean, and me, I was a fourth.

And so I, I can't look at the way my life turned and say, oh, it's because I didn't have a dad, or it's because this, I don't have that excuse. I don't have that reasoning. And that speaks for a lot that what many of you men had. You know, and I, it saddens me because I know having a father would have did for me. You know, and I get sad when I hear some of you say, man, I didn't have a dad. You know, but if you're a dad now, be that dad that you didn't have. Be that for your children. And, but in the life of my family, it's interesting because in hearing people that are no longer with us anymore in our family, you hear stories growing up, you hear about your grandparents, your great grandparents, you know, things like that. And so I do know this is that my great grandfather on my dad's side was murdered. He was bringing his family across the border to Texas because there was a revolution in Mexico in 1910. And that's where you see like Pancho Villa, Emiliano Zapata, and it was this huge fight. So he brought his family, which was my grandfather as a child across the border, went back, and he was killed. Some say he was thrown off of a train. We don't know, but he never came back.

He was killed. And so because of that, my grandfather grew up. And by that time, my dad grew up in Arizona, born in Casa Grande, raised in Coolidge South. It's between Tucson and Phoenix. It's a little small town. And my dad had an older brother. And during that time, my uncle, who I never got to meet, was murdered. So not only my great grandfather, but now my uncle that I never got to meet, he was stabbed in the heart over a dice game. And my dad still remembers to this day being a young kid and the police knocking, holding my uncle's hat, saying, do you guys recognize this hat? And that's when he found out that his brother was never coming home again. And so I have a murdered great grandfather and now a murdered uncle. There was a spirit of murder in my family line. And if I go even further back, I remember other stories of women in my family way back that were murdered also. Story goes, I don't know if this is true because the people to ask are no longer here, but story goes that long, long ago that my great grandfather did something to somebody, I don't know what happened, so a witch cursed him and said that all the firstborns of this family

will die and be murdered. And so when it happened to my great grandfather and it happened to my uncle and it happened to some of the women from far back, it seemed to ring true. But then when I was eight years old, my father gave his life to Jesus Christ in a little church in Stockton, California. I truly believe that that broke the chain, that trope, you wanna call it a generational curse, you wanna call it, whatever you wanna call it, whatever that was was broken in the name of Jesus. It's the same thing with many of you, all the things that maybe your grandfather, your father, your uncles, this and that, now you have a little boy and you're worried, man, that thing breaks with you when you serve the Lord. I'm telling you, you gotta claim that. Be like all that past, I put between me and that past, I put the cross and the blood of Jesus between that. It will not pass over to my son. It will not pass over to my daughter. It will not pass over to my grandchildren. So when my dad got saved, I was eight years old, so that was, I wanna say roughly 1980, something like that. But I will say this, those of you that were alive then, or those of you that saw, it's like in the 1980s, it felt like there was this dark cloud that was coming over my generation that we had no idea was coming.

We had no idea this was before crack, this was before meth, this was before gangs really, really took off, this was before all that stuff, but I feel like if I would go back in the spirit, I would see this dark cloud just looming, coming closer and closer over California, over our cities and over our towns that we had no ideas were sitting around playing with army men and Hot Wheels. Having no idea what the enemy had in store for my generation Riding bikes and just playing in tomato fields eating tomatoes with my brother angel and and I'm just like not Realizing what was about to happen to my generation Had no idea and so these memories of tomato fields and army men and hot wheels and and that by the time I was in high school this Dark, cloud was just gonna hover over In 2nd Chronicles If you go in your Bibles, we're gonna be there for a minute. So if you go to 2nd Chronicles, it's the Old Testament Chapter 33 And this is where I found the guy I related to and it wasn't a hero You 2nd Chronicles 33 Starting at verse 1 There was a king named Manasseh I preached about him a couple years ago But maybe some of you don't remember or you need a refresher or some of you have never heard of him There's a lot of kings in Israel that are More known than others. We hear King David King Solomon We hear of Jehoshaphat We hear of King Josiah But there was this king named Manasseh in

2nd Chronicles 33 1 and 3 and it says Manasseh was 12 years old when he began to reign And he reigned 55 years in Jerusalem So the thing was it didn't make sense was King Manasseh's father was King Hezekiah And King Hezekiah was a godly king King Hezekiah turned the things around King Hezekiah was actually the one that was sick and the prophet came and said the Lord says get your stuff in order You're gonna die and King Hezekiah put his his back to the wall and cried out to the Lord and the Lord heard him And in the middle of the prophet leaving he says go back He says I saw my servant calling up to me and tell him I'm gonna give him 15 more years of life Because I have mercy on him and his son Manasseh in verse 2 even though he had like godly father even though he had a father that stopped the The the the the rampage in his lineage And it says in verse 2 he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord According to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel Everything Manasseh knew He did the opposite He had a godly father he had good counsel but when he became king all the gods that Hezekiah had done away with the idols that his father had done away with it's like Manasseh wanted to bring those back It's almost as if you have a curse on you that your father takes off, but you take those curses back Who would do such a thing I Think a lot of us have And he did what was evil in verse 3 says he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down He erected altars to the bells and made Asherah and Worshipped all the hosts of heaven and served them It's like all the work that his father did to break the chains to break the the curse to break all of those things King Manasseh said I'm gonna rebuild those things back again It says King Manasseh

Was a son of Hezekiah the king who asked God for more time and The Lord gave it to him 15 years Wow You know this interesting thing I didn't realize that and I again, I don't know if this is true or not, but I think it's It's an interesting footnote that Jewish Literature says that actually Hezekiah Manasseh's dad was married to the prophet Isaiah's daughter. The prophet Isaiah was a prophet of that land. Matter of fact, he was a powerful man of God and somehow, someway Jewish tradition because the one thing about the Jewish people at this time was they really kept track of the lineage. So again, I don't know, I'm not an expert, but many people in that nation believe that Isaiah, the great prophet, his daughter married King Hezekiah. So because of that, it makes sense why Isaiah was so close to Hezekiah, his son-in-law, pouring into him, sharing with him. It was Isaiah who told him that he was about to die and it was him who told him, no, the Lord said he's gonna give you 15 more years. And that king, like I said, he tore down all the idols. He brought back the word of God to the people. And I think that's important because that's where I saw the similarities where I'm like, I don't see nothing similar in King David. I don't see nothing similar in Solomon or Moses

or any of these people, Lord. I'm running out of heroes to compare my story with because everybody wants to be the hero. And the Lord said, no, you're a Manasseh because you did evil in my sight because you had a father that knew me who tore down all the curses from the past. But because you chose to follow your own way, you re-erected all of those altars and all of those gods. You brought those things back that your father tore down by serving me. I'm like, how am I supposed to preach this? I'm the bad guy? Yeah. Yeah. And I was reading a story and I'm just like, oh my God, I'm Manasseh. I'm the wicked one. And actually in 2 Chronicles 33 10, it says that the Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. So Manasseh was given a chance. He would have prophets come and talk to him and the Lord would speak through other people to talk to him, talk some sense into him, saying, why are you doing these things? But it says here that he paid it no attention. You have no idea how many times I had people in the midst of my wickedness, in the midst of my darkness would come up to me,

be like, hey man, can I give you a flyer to my church? I'm like, no. Hey man, we have this event and it's gonna be this play and would you like to come? And I'd be in San Jose and Story and King cruising and this dude's trying to give me a church flyer and raised in the church, I will throw it to the floor right in that guy's face. Like, man, I want no flyer. Knowing that I had a father and a mother at home who served God, not only that guys, I grew up not paying attention. My uncle Juan is a pastor to this very day. My uncle Cipriano was a pastor and a worship leader. My uncle Luis who passed away was a worship leader. My aunts and uncles served the Lord. My grandparents served the Lord. My father and my mother served the Lord, but David paid it no attention. So many things that God had blessed our family, that God had broken the curse and broken the things that were following in our lineage and here I come, re-erecting these old idols. And I wanna say this, I'll go as far as to say that I think I raised the idols bigger than they were before. If they were 10 feet high before, they were 30 feet now. And I truly believe that the enemy wanted to destroy the lineage of my family and he was gonna use me to do it. Oh, King Manasseh, I paid it no attention.

I raised up the idols that my father had tore down. I raised them up all over again. The God of violence, the gods of the past of my family, I raised them up again. See, it's one thing, right, for us to, maybe you're sitting here because nobody shared the gospel with you, nobody told you about the Lord, you came because somebody ministered to you. In other words, you have an excuse. You're like, man, I was in prison, I was on drugs or this or that, whatever, but I didn't know. I remember during the Mother's Day, Sister Lorena, she started weeping because she says, how come nobody told me about the Lord? told me about Jesus. I couldn't say that. If it wasn't my parents, it was my grandparents, my uncles, my aunt. Some of them were pastors and worship leaders. So I couldn't say, I didn't know. I couldn't say that. And the Bible says, like we read earlier in verse 2, he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel. For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down and he erected altars to the Baals and made Asheroth and worshipped all the hosts of heaven and he served them. Manasseh was in complete rebellion. He didn't care about the things that his father would tell him. Matter of fact, it went even further. If you go to verse 4, it says he built altars in the house of the Lord even, of which the Lord had said, in Jerusalem shall my name be forever. So not only did he build altars, he says, you know what, let's put one right inside the temple. Let's put it right in the temple where my dad would worship. And he built an altar there and put it there in the very place where God said, my name would be here forever. And Manasseh put an altar there. It says he built altars for all the hosts of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord. So not only inside, but on the outer courts of the temple he built more altars to other gods.

And he went as far as this in verse 6. He burned his sons, his own children, as an offering in the valley of the son of Hinnom. There's a god named Moloch and he was a giant statue with his arms out, his back was hollowed out. And they would put coal and put a fire inside him so much that the hands would turn red because of the heat and they would throw their babies on those arms as a sacrifice. And tradition is that they would play drums really loud so the families couldn't hear the babies screaming. This is what Manasseh did. And I might have never done that, but in essence by living the life that I was, I did. I remember distinctly telling the mothers of my children, telling them, you know what? What I represent means more than this family. What kind of man says that? That's how much I believed in what I represented. It was my god that I said, man, I love my family, I love my kids, but if I got to go and handle some business, I'm sorry, they go first. That's wild. That's wild. Who in a demented mind says things like that? Me, Manasseh. And maybe there was no Moloch, but in essence I was doing the same thing because I was basically throwing my children into the arms of the enemy. So I sit here and I read, how horrible. Moloch, dude, you're horrible. And I'm reading this and the Lord's saying, that's what you did. You, by not following me and being rebellious, were throwing your children into the arms of the enemy. It says that he used fortune telling and omens and sorcery and dealt with mediums and necromancers. He did much evil on the side of the Lord, provoking him to anger. Verse seven, in the carved image of the idol that he had made, he set it in the house of God, of which God said to David and to Solomon, his son, in this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever. So he brought idols into the place of worship in the same place where God said, and not only God, but King David and Solomon said, this place will be a place of worship. This place will be for you, Lord. It's the same thing. Do you know my mom's favorite verse to this day? As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. That's her favorite verse. But what did I do?

What did Manasseh do? Those same idols I would bring into the house in the place that my parents declared to be a house of the Lord. I remember my dad had this sticker on the front of his door. It said, this house is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. He had that for years. I think only the rain and the weather made it go away. It was there for years. And here I was coming and completely desecrating what they had dedicated to the Lord. And verse 8 says, and I will no more remove the foot of Israel from the land that I appointed to your fathers. If only they will be careful to do all that I commanded them, all the law, the statutes, and the rules given to Moses, where God had said, listen, as long as you continue, follow after me, I'm going to bless you. I'm going to be there. I'm going to hover over you. But in verse 9, it says, Manasseh led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem astray to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the people of Israel. Not only was Manasseh rebellious, but he led the people away from God also. Led people away. It's almost like the opposite of an evangelist to bring people to Jesus. And instead, you bring people into deeper darkness. Because guess who was following after my footsteps?

My little brother. I had a big brother. And I'm just like, man, I want to be like him. What was I teaching my little brother? Seeing me leading him astray to the very idols that mom and dad fought to destroy. But the Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. I remember being 16, 17 years old. And at this time, I started to aspire to be a recording artist, to be like a gangster rapper. I don't think they called it that back then, but that's what it was. And doors started to open for me around 18 years old. Doors started to open. I was able to perform at car shows and concerts. And this was just the beginning. And all of a sudden, one of my aunts who, she's with the Lord now, but she would lock herself. Talk about a prayer warrior. I'm going to tell you what a prayer warrior is, because some of us, you think you're a prayer warrior. No. This woman was a prayer warrior. She lived right there in the Section 8 housing in Ceres. One way in, one way out. You know where, by Ceres High? She lived right there, worked at the canneries, the camp, the gumpel. I wasn't going to say that, but some people were like,

what's that? You know what's up. And she gave her life to the Lord. That was my dad's sister, little sister. And she was really deep in alcoholism. And my family on my mom's side came and shared the gospel with her. And she got saved. And she got delivered. And she no longer drank again. And she just loved Jesus with all of her heart. And she would lock herself in her room for days, fasting and in prayer. For days. It would get to the point where the family sometimes would start to worry. Three, four days later, she hasn't came out to eat or nothing. And all they hear is just her crying out for her family. And one day, I got a phone call. And it was her. And she was weeping on the phone. I thought something happened to one of my cousins. And she's weeping and weeping. I couldn't get. I'm like, what's wrong? Are you OK? And she's like, David, she goes, I saw you die. I said, what? Did you have a nightmare?

I'm right here. I'm here. I'm OK. She goes, no, no, no, you don't understand. You don't understand. You don't understand. You don't understand. You don't understand. And I was like, what are you talking about? I'm fine. She goes, no. She goes, I saw you. I saw Satan take you. And he was taking you to a high hill. And you were getting higher and higher and higher. And everybody loved you. And everybody wanted to be around you. And you kept going higher and higher. She goes, but when you reached the top, you didn't know that there was a cliff. And he grabbed you, and he threw you off laughing. She was weeping. She goes, David, I don't know what you're involved with. I have no idea what you're doing. She goes, but listen to my words and cry out to God. Her having no idea that I was about to do that very thing in the music industry. And I remember hanging up with her. And I remember going to my room. And I was angry, because I believed in God.

I saw God bless my family. I saw God deliver my father from alcohol. I saw all of this. And I knew he was real. And I'm just like, I remember being angry at God. I'm like, this ain't fair. I finally found something I can be good at. Maybe our family doesn't have to work in the fields anymore. And I could just really make some money and take care of my family. But you were taking it away from me. What else do I got? This is all I have. Why is it got to be? Why can't you just bless me in this? And I'll never forget. I said this. I said, God, I respect you. I said, and I don't ever want you to leave me. But I'm going to do it anyways. I'm going to do it anyways. And nothing's going to stop me. And I still remember that. There had to come to a moment and a time when Manasseh was like, I understand what Hezekiah believed, my father. But I'm going to do this my way. And I'm not going to listen to you. And I'm going to do this the way I want to do this. And over time, King Manasseh was building up these altars

and raising these things up and causing Israel to worship after these other gods. And finally, the day came where God sent messenger after messenger after messenger, prophet after prophet. You know the prophet Isaiah I told you about? The one that was sent to Israel? The prophet Isaiah I told you about? The one that warned his father? Isaiah was an outlaw when Manasseh was king. Matter of fact, in essence, you can say that it was sort of his great-grandfather by marriage if it was true that Isaiah's daughter married Hezekiah. But he was on the run from Manasseh, the great prophet Isaiah. And the story goes is that Isaiah went, and they were chasing after him. And he saw a tree with a hole. And he hid inside of the tree. And they caught him. And you know what they did? They cut that tree in half and cut him in half. The prophet Isaiah, his own by marriage great-grandfather, the great prophet, I don't know if that's what did it. But God finally said, you know what? Enough is enough. I have sent enough people to give you flyers. I've sent enough people to invite you to these Christian plays. I've sent enough people to give you warning because what you're doing

and the direction you are going. So then in verse 11, therefore, the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria. God allowed Assyria to come. And they captured Manasseh with hooks and bound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon. God allowed it. I've always said this many times. I said, you know, a lot of times people say, oh, God cursed me. God cursed me. No, we curse ourselves. And I compare it to this. I compare it to driving down the freeway. And we say, God, I don't need you. And he says, oh, you don't need me because he's the windshield. Not realizing all the bugs that would hit you in the face get stopped by the windshield. But all of a sudden, take your windshield off and go to LA and see what happens. And then we blame God for it. And he's like, hey, I didn't do nothing to you. You just took my windshield off. All this stuff would have hit you before. You just. didn't know it because I was stopping it. But you don't want me to stop it? Fine. So don't be saying that God cursed you.

You just didn't want his windshield. Now everything hits you in the face. And that's what God does. And this is what happened to Manasseh. You know, it was a trip because it wasn't until I read it in the Amplified Bible, that very verse. I'm going to read it to you. This is crazy. It says that the Lord, in the Amplified verse 11, the Lord brought the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria against them and they captured Manasseh with hooks through his nose or cheeks. And bound him with chains and took him to Babylon. Wow. So not only was this king in power, not only was he erecting these things and then putting these altars in the place of God, that God says, you know what? Fine. You don't want me? Then I won't stop the Assyrian army from doing what it is they want to do to you. And they came and not only arrested him, not only handcuffed him, but a hook in his nose and pulled them away from what he thought was his kingdom. I did exactly what I said I was going to do. And I ignored the warnings of my aunt. And I did rise in the music industry to the point where I was selling thousands and thousands and thousands of CDs around the world. I was flying places and doing autograph signings and standing

in concerts and car shows. It was. And here's the thing is I brought so much darkness into it. So many things that I was doing, so many things that I'm ashamed of even saying now, you know what I mean? But just complete wickedness and darkness and just horrible things that I brought into this. And I'm not saying the music industry, it is evil, but I brought it more. I brought more evilness into it. And it got to the point. I remember on February 25th, 2004, actually, let's back up to December 2003. I was fighting a federal case. I was fighting RICO charges with a huge prison mafia that's still in very much power today. And I was arrested. I was arrested. I was arrested. I was arrested. And I was arrested. Few years before that. So. I thought I was going to build a Empire and not realizing I was building a prison. With me in the very center of it. Because a lot of times we build our life up and we do things in our life and and we're trying to make money trying to do this, not realizing those very things are imprisoning you. Because now you can't get out.

Now you can't get away from it. And now you're stuck in it. And here I found myself fighting a federal case and it just got to the point where I was just going to court going to court going to court and I and I got so sick and tired of it and I was like, man, I can't do nothing. The Feds are watching me and all this stuff. And it was during that time. Three months before I was arrested. Where somebody called me and says, hey, man, I need. I need some crystal. I said, you know, I'm fighting a case, right? And he goes, no, no, man. I know that I know that and I don't disrespect you. But man, you know, it's going to be Christmas time and you know, my kids. I don't got nothing to give them and I said, man, I don't I'm I'm fighting a case. I don't even have a connect anymore. Because I really didn't. And he came back the next day came back the next day the whole time. He was wearing a wire. I didn't know. And finally after the last time he came into my house and I had a Christmas tree there. I mean there was gifts up to this high because I mean, I did good money. I make good money with me music and bunch of tree bunch of gifts and he comes and he's like must be nice.

I was like what he was I don't got not even one gift for my kids and you won't get me what I need. He's wired the whole time. He was a friend of mine. For like 13 years. I was a seventh person. He did this too because they would pay him to do it. I knew his children and he knows how I feel about children. I love children and when he said that I'm just like let me see what I can do. And when he said that I'm just like let me see what I can do. Made a couple calls and found what he needed and I told him meet me at the Tracy Outlets, you know, right off the freeway in MacArthur. Wired the whole time. So I remember going and pulling up, not knowing I was being filmed the whole time. Walked to the bathroom there, because it's like a U, there's a bathroom, I told him follow me in there, gave it to him. It was only three ounces. That's like a giant snicker bar. That is nothing compared to other stuff. I'm not trying to incriminate myself, but statute of limitations is over. It was nothing. Honestly, it was nothing. But you know what? My hands were shaking. Something in me didn't feel right. I remember driving home and I was just shaking up and I'm just like, this doesn't feel right. What is wrong? What is going on? I don't feel right.

I felt like the air was sucked out of my lungs. I had no idea that he was wearing a wire. I had no idea it was being filmed. But I remember getting home and I called my mom and my dad and I said, I'm sick and tired of this. Can you come and pray for me? I'm tired of this. Come and pray for me. By this time, Angel was a youth pastor and they called him. So next thing you know, they show up and they pray for me and just prayed over the house and prayed over me and I wasn't ready to surrender my life to the Lord, but I wanted prayer. But I promise you and I promise you guys, Angel, I really did stop. I stopped. I'm like, you know, I'm done with this. Matter of fact, I'm done with the music industry. I'm done making music. I'm done selling dope. I'm done gangbanging. I'm done. I'm done. That day was really done for reals. I didn't surrender, but I surrendered that life. And I remember that my youngest daughter was about to be one in a few months in February. And I went looking for a job, which is weird for me. All I knew was music and selling dope. And I remember holding this little baby all the time. And I remember giving all that up, everything, the music and everything. I'm like, she's never going to know my old life. Everything's going to change and she's going to turn one and I'm just going to raise her. Now, fast forward, had her birthday party in February.

A week after that, February 25th, 2004, I go and take my son to school. And then I head back and I'm surrounded. Tracy Gang Task Force, FBI and DEA surround me, take me to my house, ransack the house. He passed by and told my parents, so now my mom and dad, because they just live down the street, they rush over there and they're freaking out. They see all these cars and cops and everything, and they're just going through my closets and all kinds of stuff. And I remember that my daughter wanted me. She probably scared her, all these people in the house, and she had just turned one. And I remember just holding her. And then after they finished searching the house, they said, stand up, Mr. Rocha. Put your hands behind your back. You got to let her go. And I'm just like, I gave up the life three months ago in myself. I didn't tell them that. And I didn't want to let her go. And then one of the guys kind of laughing, he's like, well, you better give her a kiss because this is the last time you ever touch her again. Talk about a hook through the nose and getting pulled and having to hand this baby girl over. Therefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army, the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh by hooks through his nose and bound him with chains and took him to Babylon. Here's the thing is that Manasseh was never abandoned by God, but God allowed him to experience the consequences of his rebelliousness. Let me say that one again. Manasseh was never abandoned by God, but God allowed him to experience the consequences of his rebellion. See, I didn't understand, but I was never abandoned by God, but God allowed me to experience

the consequences of my rebellion. In other words, he says, you know, David, you're gonna have to feel life without the windshield. I'm gonna take this windshield off and you're gonna see what I have been holding back from you for so long, your whole life, and you didn't even know it. So here's Manasseh, taken to Babylon, taken to a foreign place, taken to Sacramento County Jail in solitary confinement. And I remember saying, God, why is this happening? I gave everything up three months ago. I haven't done nothing wrong. I've been just living my life. And the thing is, a lot of times, guys, we don't know that we plant, we sow seeds of violence and seeds of all this stuff and all these things, and then somewhere over here, we're like, man, I don't wanna drop those seeds anymore. I wanna drop good seed, but those things are still growing. Yeah, you might've went past it, but the plant's still gotta come. And that's what happened. That's what I didn't understand, is that even though I had made a change in my life, I was still entrapped by the seed that I had thrown all my life. But Manasseh, he's sitting in a cell, hooking his nose in a dark dungeon, and he started remembering his father. He started remembering the way his father

tore down the old idols, the way his father brought Israel back to the things of God. He started remembering, man, God blessed my dad and gave him 15 more years of life. He started to think all these things, and he's like, what am I doing? Why have I been so blind? Why am I re-erecting all these other gods when the whole time the God of heaven has been watching over my father and he promised to be with me, and what am I doing? In verse 12, he did the greatest thing. He says, when he was in distress, it says he sought the Lord, his God, and he humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He had a heart of repentance, and that's the thing about the Lord, is that no matter what, you can spit in his face, you can reject him, you can throw flyers away, you can laugh at God, but he is still there. He is still there. He is still there when you turn your back to him. He is still there when you ridicule him. He's still there when you mock him. We will never understand the mercy of God. How could God even hear a person like Manasseh, is what I used to say when I would read this. I'm like, wait a second, I'm Manasseh. There are hundreds of people

in graves right now because of my music. Am I lying, Felix? Who knew my music? Am I lying? It's pure wickedness. Why would God hear me out? But it says here, when he was in distress, he sought the Lord, his God. Notice it didn't say his father's God. He was, he sought the Lord, his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. Verse 13, when he prayed to him, he was moved by his entreaty and heard his pleading and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God. So Manasseh repented. And what's amazing to me is not that he repented because hey, man, we're all gonna repent if we're sitting in a prison, but the fact that God heard him. And he says, you know what? I see that you humble yourself. I see your heart. And you know what? I will bring you back to the place where you started. What did the FBI tell me? He says, go ahead and kiss your daughter because you're never gonna do that again. What, three months ago?

I walked her down this aisle. you will never hold her again and I got a dance with her at her wedding because God heard Manasseh and God heard me and he cried out and I cried out and I humbled myself before the Lord and I remember the God of my father said Lord forgive me for erecting these altars and these idols that my father had worked so hard to break down Lord God I promise you Lord God if you let me out I will destroy every single idol I come across I will destroy them and I will shout your name to the heavens Lord I want you to think about it God heard the prayer of one of Judah's most wicked Kings he sacrifices children and if I want you to if God can hear Manasseh then that means God can hear any one of us if God heard a man sitting in a Babylonian prison then he can hear a man sitting in a federal prison you hear me those on Pando and Edovo if God heard Manasseh he can hear you because if God heard me he can hear you because he's no respecter of men now it's one thing if God was like you know Manasseh you messed up you're gonna stay in here I forgive you but you're gonna stay in here God didn't stop there he says man not only do I forgive you I will restore you see a lot of us here we come to the Lord and we're over here thinking that oh I was this I was that and that's why I'm going through issues and that's why I'm going through problems and that's why I'm still in poverty and that's why this and that but hey I'm saved I'm saved no man don't start claiming I'd be like no Lord you saved me you forgave me now redeem me and restore me restore my family to me restore my children to me restore all the things that the enemy stole from me restore those things Lord he's my restorer he will restore it to you and the things he doesn't restore he'll give you something better don't tell me he won't don't tell me he won't Manasseh wasn't merely forgiven he was restored it says they brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God after six years God restored my freedom but the biggest restoration wasn't getting out of prison the biggest restoration was that God gave me a new heart that he gave me a new purpose that he gave me a new family

in Christ and eventually a ministry these things are I don't understand Manasseh's chains there yeah they look different than mine but the lesson was the same listen to me when I say this sin will take you farther than you want to go every time sin will take you farther than you want to go and will keep you longer than you want to stay and it'll cost you more than you want to pay but no matter how far you've wandered church whoever's listening if you're watching here or Facebook or YouTube Pandoidobo no matter how far you've wandered God's mercy is greater than your rebellion his mercy is greater than your rebellion the story isn't over yet your chapter isn't over yet it's not over yet until God says it's over I don't care what the enemy tells you I don't care what your past is screaming at you I don't care that's why I keep my wind my rearview mirror small and my windshield big because I'm going forward not forgetting what I came from but I'm going forward I will restore my house as for me in my house we shall serve the Lord as for me in my house that was my mom's verse and now that's gonna be my verse for our children I'll destroy the altars that I rebuilt up and Manasseh came back to Israel he came back to the kingdom you know the first thing he did he says we're tearing down all these idols we're tearing down all these altars because there's only one God and that's the one in heaven the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the God of my father Hezekiah that's who Israel will worship he restored it the same God who heard Manasseh in Babylon heard me in a prison cell And he still hears people today who humble themselves and cry out to him. He still hears you today. Our story is his story. And without, we're going to wrap this up, but without him, guys, we would have no testimony. We would not have a testimony. Without him, we would still be lost. So no matter how big or small your story is, no matter how dark or wicked that it is, it's still about him.

It's still about Jesus. He was able to rescue you. None of us came to him on our own. Some of you think you did. Like you thought you decided to go to church. You thought you decided. No, it's because he was calling you, because we are utterly lost. We're utterly depraved. We have no chance. We all have a ticket to hell, and it was already stamped. But God, but God, he will intervene. He will step into the story. He'll come and tell the enemy, nope. This one belongs to me. She belongs to me. He belongs to me. And the Satan's like, wait, I put so much work into them. And the Lord's like, I don't care what you did. I already put a work 2,000 years ago on the cross. I already paid for their salvation. I already prayed for their healing, paid for their healing. So it's still about him. None of us came to his feet on our own. It was him that came looking for us, and he came looking for you, for your story. Let's all stand. You know, we serve a God. His mercies, there's no way to measure it. There's no way to measure his forgiveness. There's no way to measure his love. There's no way to measure how far he will go for you.

It is impossible to find a ruler to measure the things that he will do for you. And for many of us, he would let us go so far. But I like the story of Joseph when Joseph, his brothers were afraid because of the things his brothers did to him. And Joseph said, I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you because even though you meant evil, God will turn it for good. He will turn your story for good. He will turn your story into his story. And he will turn it for good when you share your testimony. That is why it's important for us to walk in the things of the Lord righteously. That's why it's important for us to be the same way we are in church and the same way with your family and with your friends. It is important that we keep our testimony because you might not know scripture. You might not have a sermon, but you have your testimony and you can tell people without a shadow of a doubt that God set me free. He set me free from alcohol or he set you free from drugs or he set you free from violence or whatever it is that he set you free from. This is his story. This is his story. This is his story. If there's somebody here that maybe you need him, do you need to be part of his story? I'm going to give you an opportunity right now because up to this time, Satan's been writing your book. And I want you to tell the devil, I got a new author. I'm handing the manuscripts of my life. I'm taking them from you because you write horrible stories, devil. You would have turned my story into a horror story. But you know what? I'm going to put my story in the hands of God and God's going to turn this thing around. If that is you, I want you to pray this prayer.

The Bible says you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart you shall be saved. Today's the day of salvation right now, right now, right now, right now. And I want you to repeat it. after me and say Lord God, I repent of all my sins. I do a turnaround. I believe you died on the cross. And after three days, you rose in power. You did it for me. Thank you. Take out my heart of stone. And give me a brand new heart. And put your spirit in me. Change my story from this day on. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. I want to take these next few minutes, I want you to come up to the altar and I want you to reflect on your story. I want you to just for this moment, just look back in that rear view mirror. And I want you to remember what he took you out of. Because maybe you've been feeling bitter, maybe you're feeling angry. Maybe you're just like everything's getting on your nerves. Because maybe you forgot where he took you out from. Lord, remind me of what you took me from Lord. Because I want a grateful heart. I want to be grateful. Because he is worthy of everything, guys. He is worthy of it all. All the saints and angels bowed before your throne. All the elders cast their crowns before the Lamb of God and sing. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all peace. To you are all peace. You deserve the glory. Worthy Lord. Worthy Lord. All the saints and angels bowed before your throne. All the elders cast their crowns before the Lamb of God and sing. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all peace. To you are all peace. You deserve the glory. He is worthy of all. He is worthy of it all. He is worthy to be worshiped. He is worthy to be praised. For from you are all peace. To you are all peace. You deserve the glory.

There is none like you, Lord. There is none like you, God. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all. For from you are all peace. To you are all peace. ♪ You deserve it all again ♪ Jesus! Thank You, Lord! You are worthy of it all You are worthy of it all For from You are all things And to You are all things You deserve the glory You are worthy of it all You are worthy of it all For from You are all things And to You are all things You deserve the glory You are worthy of it all You are worthy of it all For from You are all things And to You are all things You deserve the glory You are worthy of it all Yes! Yes! You know, King Manasseh never had a chance to tell his father Hezekiah he was sorry. By the time he was king, King Hezekiah had passed away. And Hezekiah saw his son living in just wickedness. And he never had a chance. See, this is my dad right here. With a flag.

Dad, come here. Everything that you taught us, boys, I built those altars. And I never told you that I was sorry. I'm so sorry, dad. For everything that I did. Against you and my mom. And my family. And my children. I'm sorry, I've never said that to you. And I just hope you forgive me because I wouldn't be here for you if it wasn't for you. I remember, I remember I was in the visiting room through glass and I'll never forget where you looked right at me, remember? And you said, he said, David, I can't help you here because in Sacramento, the federal building is a real high building and right next to it is the Sacramento County Jail, big giant skyscrapers. And I remember my dad through the glass said, David, I can't help you out of this one. This building's too big. He says, but my God is bigger. Remember that? All this, dad, is because of you. All the congregation is because of you. All the inmates and thousands and thousands of inmates getting saved is because of you. Because you chose to tear down the altars. This is your fruit. This is your legacy. And I just, I just wanted you to forgive me. I love you. I love you too. May the Lord shine his face upon all of you. May you never forget what God got you out of.

Y un consejo sabio es de no casarnos con personas que no están en relación con nuestro Dios. Ustedes jóvenes, Dios les dice que nada tiene en comunión la luz con las tinieblas. Las personas que están en Cristo son personas que están en la luz. Las personas que no están en Cristo son personas que están en la oscuridad. Y todavía no han conocido al Dios verdadero ni han tenido una relación con Dios. Por eso es tan importante, si tú tienes, si eres un padre, si tienes hijos todavía que son jóvenes, instruyelos en el camino de Dios y enseñales lo correcto. Lo correcto. Nosotros como padres lo que podemos hacer es instruirlos a tener una relación con Dios. ¿Para qué? Para que las relaciones que ellos encuentren sean relacionadas con las cosas de Dios. Porque hay mucha influencia en el mundo. ¿Verdad que sí? Hay mucha influencia en el mundo. ¿Qué quiere decir eso? De que estemos al tanto de nuestra vida. Que cuidemos nuestra vida. Que no vivamos nuestra vida a la ligera. Que vivamos nuestra vida en relación con Dios, despiertos, estando alerta. Es lo que hay en este mundo. El diablo quiere verte atado a una religión. Porque él sabe que si estás en una religión, no estás en compromiso con Dios. Simplemente estás creyendo en Dios, pero nunca te acercas a Dios de cerca y tienes una relación con Dios. Si tú y yo decidimos que somos cristianos, o sea, si decimos tú y yo, o ustedes que están mirando en pano en Idobo, que son cristianos, que somos cristianos. Ellos piensan que Jesucristo solamente es el Hijo de Dios y que no es Dios, que solamente Jehová es Dios. Cuando la Biblia misma nos dice que tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo, el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Así dice la Escritura. Los mormones dicen que son cristianos, pero ellos mismos tienen un libro que se llama el libro de mormones, compuesto por una persona que según era profeta y Dios le reveló cosas. Bueno, hay muchas religiones más. Yo salí del catolismo, era católico antes y créemelo, no tenía una relación con Dios cuando estaba yendo a la iglesia cada domingo y simplemente iba lo más para qué? Para cumplir, para cumplir lo más o para hacerme yo sentir bien. Sabes, los verdaderos cristianos se rinden a Jesucristo completamente y están dispuestos a hacer lo que Jesucristo hizo y a pasar por lo que Jesucristo pasó. de que nos están viendo. Yo quiero decirles que aún estando ahí en esa cárcel, en esa prisión, si tú estás sirviendo a Dios, mantente activo en las cosas de Dios. Busca un lugar donde puedas crecer en las cosas de Dios. Y deja ya las pandillas. Deja de asociarte con personas que no van a ser de ánimo a tu fe en Cristo. Y empieza a cultivar una relación con Dios, que es lo más importante que puedes hacer para que cuando tú salgas de esa prisión, puedas ser usado por Dios para influenciar a muchas personas acá afuera. Y aún ahí en la prisión, tú puedes influenciar a muchas personas si mantienes tu relación con Dios. Amén. Una vida guiada por el Espíritu Santo, donde no estemos haciendo cosas que no debemos, es una vida que nos va a traer bendiciones a nuestra vida, y a nuestra familia, y nuestras generaciones. Tenemos que vivir una vida diferente en las manos de Dios. ¿Guiada por quién? Por el Espíritu Santo de Dios, que es el que está operando hoy en nosotros como cristianos, como creyentes, como hijos de Dios. Viviendo una vida así nos hace, o sea, viviendo una vida a nuestra manera, a veces nos hace hipócritas. Porque decimos y no hacemos. Hablamos y a veces no es verdad. Queremos y nada hacemos a veces.

vanidad de su mente teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido ajenos de la vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay por la dureza de su corazón los cuales después que perdieron toda sensibilidad se entregaron a la lascivia para cometer con avidez toda clase de impureza mas ustedes no han aprendido así a Cristo ¿Cuántos de ustedes han leído que Cristo ha hecho algo así? ¿Verdad que no? Él fue tentado en todas las áreas de su vida pero dice la escritura que él nunca pecó y dice si en verdad le han oído y han sido por él enseñados conforme a la verdad que está en Jesús en cuanto a la pasada manera de vivir despójense del viejo hombre que está viciado conforme a los deseos engañosos y renuévanse en el espíritu de su mente y vístanse del nuevo hombre creado según Dios en la justicia y santidad de la verdad por lo cual desenchando la mentira hablen verdad cada uno con su prójimo porque somos miembros los unos de los otros Aeraos o sea enojense pero no pequen no se ponga el sol sobre su enojo ni den lugar al diablo el que ortaba no urte más si no trabaje haciendo con sus manos lo que es bueno para que tenga que compartir con el que padece necesidad ninguna palabra corrompida salga de vuestra boca cuáles son las palabras corrompidas tú sabes sino la que sea buena para la necesaria edificación a fin de dar gracia a los oyentes y no contestéis al espíritu santo de Dios con el cual fuiste sellados para el día de la redención y sigue y dice quítense de vosotros toda amargura enojo ira gritería y maledicencia y toda malicia pero antes de ser benignos unos con otros misericordiosos perdonándose unos a otros como Dios también los perdonó a ustedes en Cristo sean pues imitadores de Dios como hijos amados y andan en amor como también Cristo nos amó y se entregó a sí mismo por nosotros ofrenda y sacrificio a Dios en olor fragante pero fornicación y toda inmundicia o avaricia ni aun se nombre entre ustedes como conviene a santos ni palabras deshonestas ni necesidades ni true anerías que no convienen sino antes bien acciones de gracias porque saben que es esto que ningún fornicario o inmundo o ávaro que es idolatra tiene venencia en el reino de cristo y de dios nadie los engaña con palabras vanas porque por estas cosas viene la ira de dios sobre los hijos de desobediencia seamos diferentes de la que está todo sea diferente de ahora de vive diferente la vida dice claramente que el mundo entero está bajo el dominio del enemigo y es una realidad que estamos viendo con nuestros propios ojos donde quiera que vayamos vemos la maldad que en este mundo y no podemos culpar a dios por toda la maldad que en este mundo no lo podemos culpar

vamos hasta el versículo 23 entonces los principales de los filisteos se juntaron para ofrecer sacrificio a dagón su y para alegrarse y dijeron nuestro dios entregó en nuestras manos a samson nuestro enemigo y viéndolo el pueblo alabaron a su dios diciendo nuestro dios entregó en nuestras manos a nuestro enemigo y al destruir y al destruidor de nuestra tierra el cual había dado muerte a muchos de nosotros versículo 25 Y aconteció que cuando sintieron alegría en su corazón dijeron llamen a Sansón para que nos divierta y llamaron a Sansón de la cárcel y sirvió de juguete delante de ellos y lo pusieron entre dos columnas. Hay que mantener nuestra relación con Dios. Si no, seremos un objeto en las manos del diablo. Y él jugará con nuestra vida como le place si nos apartamos de la relación con Dios que tenemos hoy. Porque todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, ¿estos son qué? Hijos de Dios. Cuando vivimos en el Espíritu buscamos ¿qué? Estar en comunicación con Dios. ¿Y cómo es comunicación con Dios? La oración, el ayuno. La obediencia a la Biblia. Número tres. La batalla interna. Todos los creyentes se enfrentan a una lucha espiritual y no hay excepción de personas. No hay excepción de personas. Si no lo hubo con Jesús, Él tuvo que pasar por todas esas cosas. ¿Qué nos lleva a nosotros a creer que no nos va a pasar nada o que no vamos a pasar por nada? Todos los creyentes se enfrentarán a una lucha espiritual y no hay excepción de personas. Para nosotros que somos creyentes. Porque el deseo de la carne es contra el Espíritu y del Espíritu es contra la carne. Sé que hay días donde la carne quiere dominar nuestra vida como el enojo, la tentación, la amargura y el orgullo. Y es algo que yo estoy trabajando en mí. Para mejorar las cosas con mi esposa y no nomás con mi esposa, con Dios. Y muchos de ustedes también tienen algún problema que necesitan arreglar en su vida. Yo no sé cuál es, pero tú sabes cuál es. Tú sabes cuál es. Hay personas que son amargas y que no quieren perdonar a la persona o personas que los hirieron. Cuando el diablo, siendo el ángel más hermoso en el cielo que Dios creó, él cultivó ese orgullo en su corazón de ser igual que Dios, de que los ángeles le adoraran. ¿Qué le pasó? Fue echado. O sea, fue echado acá abajo. Dios se despojó de él. ¿Por qué? Porque el orgullo que él tenía es hacer igual que Dios y hacer que la gente lo adorara como a Dios. Sabes, tengamos mucho cuidado cuando piensemos tener orgullo en nuestra vida. El único orgullo que tenemos que hacer es de ser orgullosos de que hemos sido, ¿qué? Perdonados, salvados y cambiados con el poder de Dios. Orgullosos de tener a un Dios que nos ha amado tanto que aún estamos vivos hoy. A pesar de nuestras debilidades, a pesar de nuestras fallas, a pesar de las malas decisiones, a pesar de nuestras fallas, a pesar de las malas decisiones que hacemos a veces. Pero no nos olvidemos que el Espíritu Santo nos da el poder para poder, ¿qué? mantener nuestra relación con Dios. Chetty, puedo preguntarte algo, ¿sí? Si verdaderamente estamos en relación con Dios, estaremos en relación con su Palabra, con su Palabra. La Palabra de Dios es viva y eficaz y más cortante, dice la Escritura, que una espada de dos filos. ¿Ustedes saben qué es una espada de dos filos? Que está afilada por los dos lados, que cuando la insertas, ¿qué hace? Corta hasta lo más profundo, ¿verdad? Bueno, la Palabra de Dios es el alimento sólido para nuestro espíritu, que corta todos los ligamentos que no deben de estar en nuestra vida espiritual. Y es la espada que nos trae confirmación a nuestra vida y nos ayuda, ¿qué? A vencer al enemigo. Porque, ¿sabes? El enemigo no solamente anda como león regente buscando a quien devorar. Dice que él avienta a darnos encendidos, o sea, que él está metiendo a su chanza, diciendo, mira, mira, este es el otro, mira al otro.

¿Tratando, qué? De que tú estés en problema con alguien, de que tú estés en contra de alguien. Por eso, Efesios capítulo seis nos enseña claramente que nos pongamos toda la armadura de Dios para que cuando las chanzas del diablo, o sea, para que estemos listos para las chanzas del diablo. ¿Sí o no? Ahí nos dicen, Efesios capítulo seis, si no lo crees, tú léelo en tu casa. Dice, si Jesús estando en relación con el Padre fue tentado por Satanás, esto nos enseña que la victoria que nosotros podemos tener es a través de la relación con Dios. En su relación con Dios, con el Padre, Jesucristo oró, Jesucristo ayunó, y Jesucristo, ¿qué? Estudió las Escrituras, ¿amén? Porque la Biblia dice claramente que creció en estatura y también, ¿en qué? En entenimiento, así dice la Escritura. Igualmente nosotros tenemos que, ¿qué? No solamente crecer en estatura, sino también en conocimiento de la palabra de Dios, para que cuando venga cualquier cosa a la vida, sepamos qué hacer, y no corramos el problema, sino arreglemos el problema con la ayuda de Dios, ¿amén? Número cuatro, ¿cómo vivir en el espíritu? Ah, orando diariamente, porque la oración fortalece el espíritu

y debilita la carne. Por eso, 1 Tessalonicenses capítulo cinco, versículo 17 dice, orar sin cesar, orar sin cesar. Que todo tiempo estemos, ¿qué? En comunicación con Dios, cada día.
