Praise you Precious Father Amen Amen Lord, we thank you for this Sunday morning We thank you for this word that you are about to have me share Lord God I just appreciate every single moment that you give me a chance to share to your people Lord Anything that is not of God, we command it to leave in the name of Jesus right now Lord I pray that you send surrounding angels around this place Lord Because of the subject that we're gonna be talking about Lord God The enemy has kept people from coming today Lord But we are going to expose the enemy Because that's what you tell us to do in your word And we just thank you Lord God for your word We thank you because it is like a light to our feet And a lamp Lord God And I pray for every person here Their situations, their problems If they're louder than the sermon today Then I command those voices to shut their mouth Those bills and all that will still be there when we leave But for right now it is a time for your word Lord God We thank you in Jesus name Amen Amen You got your Bibles? I bring it ready to learn I open it with faith in Jesus I live it with courage Without it I grow weak With it I grow strong Today I bring it Believe it And obey it In Jesus name Amen Amen Amen Today's title Message is Are we blind To the world around us I think this is an important thing to talk about What I have noticed In Christianity Is that There seems to be two camps That are growing And it's getting more and more extreme As time goes on You have the camp That says that There's demons everywhere If you step on a crack A demon is going to come out

You thought I was going to say break your mama's back I know And there's the other side That says man That's all a bunch of hocus pocus There is no demons There is none of that That's just you and your old habits And they're getting more and more extreme And one side will have you Fearing of every little thing Like you pass a billboard Like, oh, a demon just came into me now. And you're just fearful. You are a Christian that is afraid of every single thing. You can't go anywhere because demons jumped on you and you can't shake hands with anybody, you can't say hi to anybody, and you are just living in fear. But the word of God says, he doesn't give you the spirit of fear. But then on the other end, you got those that are not believing all of these things. And because of that, I feel it's a dangerous position to be in because anything supernatural is thrown out. So you actually think that there is no demonic attacks. You actually think that somebody can't be demon possessed or oppressed. You actually think these things.

And when I noticed that, I say, I'm not choosing either of these because in the Bible, there's balance. In the word of God, there's both. It's not that there's both, it's just there's a naturalness to it. And it doesn't have to be extreme either way. And because I know many of you are in social media, many of you look at YouTube videos, I feel like I need to talk about this because what happens is you start watching certain videos, certain channels, certain things, and you don't realize that you're on a slippery slope that way, or you're on a slippery slope that way. And it brings imbalance to you. Your spiritual equilibrium is off. And when your spiritual equilibrium is off, it's easier and you're more susceptible to fall into false teachings to the point where this side, in the most extreme way, what I have seen is people on this side build their entire belief in theology not on what the Bible says about demons, but what demons say about demons. That's a dangerous thing. Because you realize that without, it's a slippery slope. You didn't see it happen, but somewhere along the line, everything you believe are things that demons have said.

Why would you want to build your, you're like, man, I'm gonna learn to be a strong Christian, so I'm gonna listen to what demons tell me. And that sounds weird, but it happens so slowly that you don't realize it. And that is why I think we need to understand this so we can have a good foundation of our walk, because I think that is really, really important for any of you and those that are watching online, even those that are watching in prisons. I know how this stuff happens in there. There are people so legalistic in prison that they just laugh at the people on this side and these people on this side, and it's like, wait, what if you're both wrong? What if both of you, your equilibrium's wrong? What if you're both unbalanced? So that's why the word of God is a standard. See, I can guess what 12 inches is, or I can have a ruler. Is that ruler gonna change morning, night, weekend, summertime, winter? Is that ruler gonna change? It's not. Somebody could say, oh, how far is it from here to the end of the stage? And somebody will say, I think it's probably 20 feet. Well, I don't have to guess, because I can go get a ruler. And unfortunately, many people,

in your eternal Christian walk, you're basing it on what it looks like instead of saying, let me get my ruler. Let's measure this thing out. This is the standard. There's no way around it. In Ephesians chapter six, verse 12, is where we're gonna start today's message. Ephesians chapter six, verse 12. Let me know when you have it, say amen. Some of you don't have it, say not yet. All right. Ephesians chapter six, verse 12. It says this. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So according to Paul in the New Testament, he is saying that we're not fighting against other people. We're not fighting against those people that we think are haters or something. And there might be haters and there might be enemies, but ultimately, if somebody is coming against your walk in Christ, not against you, sometimes we can be jerks and somebody don't like us and we think it's a spiritual attack, no, just quit being a jerk. That's nothing to do with spiritual. You're just, you're just not good to get along with. I see Tino and Felix pointing at each other. That sinner's row back there, both of you. Oh, amen, amen, protecting them from leaving. Good comeback. So ultimately when somebody comes against who it is that we believe in and what we

believe in, even though there's a person there or persons or whatever it is, we know there is something dark and spiritual behind it. That is the true enemy. We don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers and authorities, the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So we know that they're in the heavenly places. We even go to the, to the old Testament. We see in the book of Daniel that Daniel was praying and all of a sudden his prayer wasn't getting an answer. He wasn't getting an answer back. And finally, three weeks later, an angel shows up sweating and he was like, man, I have been bringing your answer for 21 days ago, but I was fighting against the king of this land. We know he wasn't talking about a person. There's no person that's going to fight an angel for 21 days. There's a spiritual realm over, over, over the, it says over the heavenly places. So we know that there is an authority. There's a matter of fact, the Bible says there's principalities, a principality means there's a Prince over it. That's what that means. So we know that there are demons that are assigned to nations, to States, even cities. There's principalities over the heavenly places. That's a, have you ever, have you ever gone into a city and all of a sudden you're just like, man, this feels heavy here. There's a, there's a, a principality, there's, there's a demon that's over that. Now does that mean that we all scare, Oh, I can't go into that city because those demons would jump on me. We don't have a spirit of fear, but we can't be like this guy and say, no, that don't exist because it says it right here in the Bible. See, we're living in a world where darkness no longer hides.

Have you noticed that see a lot of people say, Oh man, things are bad now. Things are bad. It's not the way it used to be. Oh, it's the same as the way it used to be, but back then demons would hide. Now it's out in the open. The same stuff that's happening now is happening then, but now it's just in the open. It's like, it's like the enemy has become bold. They don't hide it. Oh, the music industry, they're demon worshipers. Now you think they weren't 50 years ago, they just hit it. Now you watch the awards and you watch these famous singers and they're basically doing an entire seance in front of the world. That's not a new thing. They're just doing it in the open now because evil no longer hides because evil is celebrated and truth is mocked. That's the thing is that it's turning the tables around to where those that are wanting to serve the Lord, you're mocked and made fun of, but those that want to serve Satan, it's celebrated. It's a different time. You know what I've noticed? This is that I'm going to include myself as older people. Well, you're younger than me, so I'm not including my wife. Two years is a long time. A long time. Yeah, that's why I married you, like a younger woman. Me and some of the older folk. We don't understand because we think, like, for instance, that it doesn't look like it does back then, so we don't see it. I don't know how many conversations

I had with people, and I'm just like, man, these streets ain't nothing the way it used to be, man. In the 80s and 90s, it was on and cracking, this and that. But now, you know what it is? And I told people, I said, I don't even see gang members anymore. And they're like, because they don't look the way you guys used to look. There's gang members all over the place. They just look different. Yeah. Little fuzzy thing on their belt. So us older people are like, oh, man, these streets are safe. Ain't no gang members out. And you got young people that say, are you crazy? It's nuts out here. So we don't see it. And here's the thing, though. The young people, though, they don't know what it used to be like, so this wicked world is now their norm. They think talking back to 10 years ago, they think talking back to teachers is normal. They think arguing with cops is normal. They think disrespecting mom and dad is normal. They think smoking weed all day long is normal. They think all this stuff is normal because they don't know anything else. This is now the norm of this world. So that's why when you talk to young people,

when you say things that are biblical, and they're just like, man, you're just making a big deal about this. And you're like, because son or daughter, you don't see what I see. Because this is all you know. You don't know anything else. But it has always been this way. It's not new. So there's something interesting about us humans is that we always want shortcuts. We always want the easy way. We always want to figure it out. We always, that's just the way we are. It's in our nature. And I think that that's a constant fight within us because when it comes to our walk, it's almost like, let's see how close I can get to the world but not get in trouble. Let's make a shortcut. I don't like that Bible verse. So I'm just going to walk out my walk and kind of ignore that because everybody else is doing it. You know, that's the thing, a lot of new Christians, what you see today and now is the norm. So you think this is normal. I became a Christian at 32, but I grew up in church. My mom got saved when I was five, my dad when I was eight. So my entire life has been in the church even though I wasn't part of the church till I was 32.

But I've got to say this, man, it is different. It is different. I remember a day and a time when somebody would get saved and delivered and they were alcoholics or they were drug addicts and they came out sober and they never went back to that. And it's a different thing now. It's a different thing like, man, I'm going to give my life to the Lord, but man, I've got to go through recovery and I've got to do this and do that. But why is it that 30 years ago people were getting delivered right then and there? They're getting their worldly music and throwing out. They're getting their beer and throwing it out. They're getting their porn and throwing it away because life was going to be completely changed. But see, we don't know that now. Now it's like, oh, I'm a work in progress. Oh, God's working on me. Yeah, I know I flipped that guy off. But hey, God's working on me. Yeah, I know I dabble a little bit in this. But hey, man, God's working on me. And everything is like this. But you know what? To new Christianity, that's the norm. So you think that's the normal life and that's the normal Christian life and that's just the way it is and that's the way it's going to be. So I want to talk today about the dangers of having that mindset of a shortcut or having that mindset of saying, well, if going right

there means living back in my old life, how close can I get without actually going back to my old life? See, people don't preach holiness anymore because holiness is this, is now that I live a Christian life and I'm not that anymore, Lord, what's the furthest I can get from my old life? So you have these two people, some that want to entertain but not be in sin and those that say, man, I want to live a holy life. I want to set myself apart. I just want to be a different person, a different man, a different woman. I want to learn the word. I want to understand who I am in Christ. I want to be able to see the miracles. I want to cast out demons. I want to preach his word. I want to evangelize and there's our son that say, man, now that I belong to the church, how close can I get to this? Because I still want to be with my friends. I don't want them to look at me crazy. I still want to, yeah, I still want is going to send people to hell. In Genesis chapter 12, I'm going to show you somebody that did exactly that and how much it cost him. Genesis chapter 12, starting at verse one. First book in the Bible. Genesis chapter 12, one through five. So this is before the nation of Israel. This is before King David, King Solomon. This is way before, way before Moses. God saw that he was going to make a nation, a great nation because he knew he was going to be born into a nation, but all the nations were wicked and they worshiped other gods. But he saw a man and his wife named Abram and he says, I will make a great nation out of him. So this is where it starts. It says, now the Lord say to Abram, he says, go from your country, right out the gate. Abram's over here in a wicked land. And what does God, what's the first thing God says before he gives him instruction? He says, go out, go out from the stuff you came out of. Go from your country and your kindred. You know, that is your family, your homies. Get away from them because I'm about to do a great thing in your life, but you got to get away from that environment. See, some of us, you're still stuck there saying, where's God's blessing? How come God isn't using me? But you haven't even done the first thing. Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and him who dishonors you, I will curse. And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. It's like, wow. So God tells him, I want you to leave all of that and I'm going to take you to a new place. But many times, man, especially, and I'm talking to those

in prison too, because unfortunately you're stuck there. You can't leave. So you're here in the belly of the beast and God is saying, man, I have greatness in you. I'm going to do something great in you. But here's the thing. You want to stick to this this whole time and you don't. He's like, man, I got something greater for you. I got something you can't even imagine, but you got to leave that first. But then it says this. Verse four. So Abram went as the Lord had told him, so he obeyed. Praise God. And Lot went with him. Lot. Abram was 75 years old when he departed from Haran. In verse, wait, one through five. Yeah. And Abram took Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother's son, his nephew, and all their possessions that they had gathered and the people that they had acquired in Haran, and they set out to the land of Israel. go to the land of Canaan when they came to the land of Canaan. So this is the first thing I want to show you is the fact that first of all God gave Abraham a word. God didn't give Lot a word. He didn't give the nephew a word. He gave Abram a word. But then it says when Abram left, yeah his nephew came along. Now does that mean that God hated Lot? Does that mean? No, no, no it doesn't mean that. But what's interesting is that Abram took other men with him. Why does it say Lot separate? Because if Lot had came under Abram and said, you know what I will follow you. I didn't hear the voice. I don't know what you're doing uncle, but you know what I'm going to follow you. I don't think it would have separated his name from Abram because those other men that went. But because he went, this is oh and by the way Lot came too. So we see an attitude of something that is separate and something different. And that might mean nothing right now, but it will mean more later. So this whole thing is that once they left, they had animals with them. They had shepherds with them and and all their possessions and the wives and the men had their children. So it was like an entourage. It was a caravan

and they went traveling toward Canaan. Most likely they say Abram was from around where Kuwait or south Iraq is at. They say most likely that's where he was at. And so they traveled if you go to a map all the way from Kuwait all the way up toward Israel. What would future be Israel? And right now at this time it was called Canaan because the Canaanites lived there. And as they're traveling the animals were multiplying and multiplying and multiplying and I mean you know traveling didn't take a day. It didn't take a month. It took a long time. So what started happening is the herds, the flock started to get bigger and bigger and bigger and they they're hungrier and hungrier and they're eating everything up. So finally men of Abram started arguing with Lot's men because Lot had his own stuff too. And it got to the point where they're starting to fight. And Abram in his wisdom he said hey nephew man I gotta talk to you. Let's go up that hill and go up the hill. Come here come here nephew. You know I love you but this is causing problems all your animals and your people my animals and my people. So look at all this land. A lot of land here. No reason for our people to fight. So I'll tell you what I mean over there is really green but there's some wicked cities. But look at that. I mean there's a lot to pasture. It's a little worse here. There ain't nothing here but I'll tell you what nephew. You choose a side and I'll go to the opposite side. You would think that Lot would honor his uncle and say oh no uncle I'm only here because of you so you take the green side. I'll work the land over here but Lot says oh I want that side. And Abram I love the fact that Abram didn't even trip. He didn't blink nothing. He's like okay. You know why? Because Abram knew the promise.

He's he's the type of person that he believed God because when God says I'm gonna bless you. In other words Abram was like hey whether I go to the desert or the green wherever I go God's gonna bless me regardless. And that's the thing is sometimes in this world we we live our walk we do our walk and we live our Christian walk and we're always looking for the where the grass is greener. And if you know you know when I see that happen in a Christian it's somebody I see somebody that doesn't believe in who they truly are in Christ. Because if you know who you are in Christ then that means that place ain't blessed because it's blessed it's going to be blessed because you walk there. Everything you touch will be blessed in the city in the country. You'll be the head and not the tail. You will be the lender not the borrower. And Abram knew that. So Lot goes but what's interesting is Lot not only chose the green side but where the wicked cities were at. So Lot chose the best land but it was close to the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. So we see that when they're in a mountain Lot was looking so we see that it started off where he looked first. I want you to keep that in mind. A lot of people think that you when you fell into sin when is when you actually went and did the deed But in all actuality, you didn't do the deed until you looked first. That's where the spiral began. The spiral began when you looked and you entertained it and you said, oh, that looks really green over there. That's where the spiral began. And Lot looked towards Sodom. If we go fast forward to Genesis 13, a couple chapters later, we're going to see something else that happens.

Well, this is actually, this is the, I'm sorry, I already told you that whole story, but if you want to read it in your notes, Genesis 13, eight through 13 is when they're choosing the sides. But if we can go to Genesis 13, 12, let's read that part. Genesis 13, 12 says this. So Abram settled in the land of Canaan while Lot settled among the cities of the valley and moved his tent as far as Sodom. Now the men of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against the Lord. You know, even though that's one verse, even though that's just one sentence, it seems to be like Abraham's like, Lot, okay, that's fine. You want it to go over there? That's fine. But you know, nephew, be careful because those people are wicked. And Lot was probably like, no, uncle, I'm good. I'm just going to be right where the green starts. I'm not going to be over there with Sodom, just right where the green starts. That way my animals can graze. You don't got to worry about me, unc. What did we just read? Twelve, Abram settled in the land of Canaan while Lot settled among the cities of the valley and moved his tent closer to Sodom. Happens slowly. I'm going to go, I miss going so-and-so with some of my friends, so I'm just going to go one time. And I'm going to leave before it gets dark. And then, man, that was really fun seeing you, homie. Why don't you, man, next week we're going to get together, so-and-so's, we're going to barbecue, this and that. Why don't you come? Yeah.

Yeah, I'll go. I'll stay a little bit later. So you started saying, I'm just going to be right here because I'm saved, because I'm saved, but I miss these people, but I'm saved. And the next thing you know, you're moving your tent closer and closer. And this is what we see that Lot was doing. Lot got, and what started happening is, in Genesis 14, is see, Sodom and Gomorrah had some enemies. So these kings rose up against the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah, and they came and completely came and started tearing up the cities and taking people captive. And guess who else got taken up? Lot. Guilty by association. Because you still want to look the way you used to look in the past. And all of a sudden, you're wondering why people are mad-dogging you, why people hitting you up, or this and that, whatever. Man, look at the mirror. Come on, you want to be so close to the world, but the moment the world wants to attack you, you say, oh, I'm a Christian. You're a Christian. We're in a club, homeboy. You're a Christian. All of a sudden, if we go on to Genesis 14, we see the progression. Verses 10 through 12. 14, 10 through 12. Look what happens. It says, now the valley of Siddam was full of Butamen pits, and as the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some fell into them, and the rest fled to the hill country. Verse 11, so the enemy took all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way.

They also took Lot, the son of Abraham's brother, who was dwelling, what does it say, in Sodom, and his possessions, and went their way. The first Sodom was at the edge, he kept moving his tent, now all of a sudden, he's in it. See, here's the thing, right? I always tell people that the Lord has you. But if you step out of his provision, don't go blaming God. We can step out of his provision. He can say, listen, stay under me, ain't nobody gonna hurt you. And you know what? Ain't nobody gonna hurt you. But we step out of it, and then we get attacked by the enemy, and we're like, God, this is happening to me. I don't understand why. And the Lord said, you moved. Who told you to move? And all of a sudden, he finds himself in the midst of Sodom, and he gets taken along with everybody else. And it happens so slow. I wonder if Lot was like, why is this happening to me? Why is this happening? And I thought, Abraham's my uncle, Abraham's my uncle, and he's blessed, and everybody who blesses him will be blessed, and who curses him will be cursed, and why am I here? How did this happen? I wonder sometimes that Lot say, maybe this started when the first conversation when I chose the greener grass. Maybe it was when I chose to move a little bit closer. Maybe when I moved my tent a little bit closer. How did I end up here? How many of you have ever been in a holding cell, and you're just like, how did I end up here all over again?

Right? You're like, are you serious? How did this happen again? All over again. And you start to replay all the dumb choices you made. And you can't be mad at this, snitch, you can't be mad, you put yourself there. Because you chose to go and dwell in Sodom. We can't blame God, can't even blame the devil for that one. Guilty by association. So Abraham had to go rescue him. Abraham had to risk his life, get men to risk their lives, and they had to go after the enemies of Sodom and Gomorrah, not only get Lot back, but all these other people back. All these wicked people, Abraham helped. And he brought Lot back. I don't know how many times I got rescued in my filth, in my stuff, and all of a sudden I'm calling my Christian mom, and my Christian dad, and my Christian brother, and I'm just like, man, you guys got to pray for me. Why? What's going on? I think there's demons in my house. Maybe I have a couple pounds of meth in there. Just maybe. And angel's like, what's going on? I don't know. I think there's just evil here. There's just something creepy. Pray for me. We lie to ourselves. It is a true story. Genesis 19, look at this.

It gets worse. Genesis 19, verses 1 through 3. Ready? The two angels. Let me back up. So Abram, Abraham at this time, God says, I will call your name Abraham because you'll be the father of many, and Abraham's old, and he's like, huh, what do you mean? I'm just old. My wife can't have kids. I can't have kids. So God is going to speak to you into not what your situation is, but where your situation is going to be. God will speak into your life. He'll speak into your future. See, Satan reminds you of who you were in the past. You ain't nothing but a drunk. You ain't nothing but this. You ain't nothing but that. That's how you know in your mind who it is that's talking to you because God and the Holy Ghost does not speak to you that way. Holy Spirit will not say you're nothing but a drunk. Holy Spirit will say you are a conqueror, more than a conqueror. You are a strong man. You are a strong woman. You are a man of God. You are a woman of God. You are going to destroy the strongholds of the enemy. You are going to be used for great and mighty things you can't even imagine. I'm going to use you to speak life into people, and people are going to get saved and baptized and hear the gospel, and this is the way Holy Ghost talks to us.

But these two angels came to visit along with the Lord with Abraham and the Lord told Abraham I'm gonna destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of their wickedness And Abraham goes My nephew lives over there What if I find you know So many righteous people there were you still destroy and he says well No, I won't destroy it if I find 50 righteous man, and he knew there was no 50 righteous man He's like what if there's 20 good men? The Lord says I won't destroy it if there's 20 good men What if there's five So the angels go And they go to lot in Genesis 19 1 3 This is the two angels came to Sodom in the evening This is the part that gets me and lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom If you don't know culture, I'm gonna Show you why this verse is important You know when you go into a city for instance, you come into Modesto you go right downtown You know, that's an important place right where City Hall is at right? That's where you're gonna you know If you want to build a house if you need a permit for something need a business license If you need a marriage certificate if needed there all of that stuff happens at the City Hall all of those Places right there downtown, right? That's the important place. Well back then The place of influence was at the gate of a city Here's why because somebody wanted to come do business in your city. You couldn't trust everybody You weren't gonna have this the City Hall in the center of your city where your families are at What if these people are enemies? You weren't gonna say like somebody would come and let's say they had an ulterior motive to do something and they're like Oh, I just want to get a permit and really they're enemies and then you let them into the middle of your city So everything was handled at the gate All the important things happen at the gate the mayor if they had mayors back then would be at the gate

The counselors would be at the gate the tax people all of the stuff was at the gate. So these are people of influence And what does it say the two angels came to Sodom in the evening and lot was sitting in the gate This dude that was up on the mountain was like Abram, yeah, I just take the green grass I'm just gonna be right there in the edge and he goes to the edge and he's like man Let me move my tent a little bit closer a little bit closer a little bit closer a little bit closer now He's in there. And now the angels show up the angels of the Lord show up and there's a lot all up in the politics all up in the business At the gate he became a person of influence in that wicked city This didn't happen overnight and it won't happen to you overnight It'll happen slowly Are we blind to the world around us? When lot saw them He rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth and said my lords Please turn aside your servants house spend the night and wash your feet that you may rise up early and go on your way He was living in there He's telling God's angels. Hey, stay at my house. It's just down the street And the angel says no we will spend the night in the town square But he pressed them strongly So they turned aside to him and entered his house and he made a feast and baked unleavened bread and they ate He knew that there was no way these angels could sleep in the courtyard because he knew the kind of city he lived in He knew what would happen. He knew the wickedness of this place yet He lived in it And that was a dangerous thing So here's the thing is lot never I don't believe lot ever planned to lose his spiritual sensitivity overnight Nobody wakes up. You're just like, you know, I'm consumed by the world It just happens it happens a little by little by little and This is what happened to Lot and you think like why is this story in the Bible? Because maybe there's something to learn from it. First Lot looked towards Sodom, then he moved near Sodom, then he lived in Sodom,

and now Sodom lived in him. So first you look at the world, then you get near the world, then you live in the world, now the world lives in you. And you're wondering why is God not protecting me? The moment Lot chose to walk away from Abram, he walked away from the covering. The enemy will work through a gradual compromise. What was once shocking slowly becomes normal for us. What once convicted us no longer bothered us. It changes us, entertainment changes us, culture shapes us, our prayer life gets weakened, our discernment begins to fade, and eventually people who once walked closely with God begin sitting comfortably in the gates of compromise. There's no more city gates to sit in anymore, but there's a gate of compromise. So we find churches that compromise, we find fellow brothers and sisters that compromise, because we don't want to feel these things we're feeling, so we'll find other people that are living with their tents near Sodom. Or we gather together with other people that are living in Sodom in a spiritual sense, or Sodom is living inside of us, and then we point at the Christians saying, look at those holy rollers, look at their super Christian, their super serial, they're just like, no man, you're just living in Sodom. Genesis shows us a frightening progression that I believe is still happening today. This is why I'm sharing this message today, to open the hearts and the minds, because Genesis 13 says that Lot lifted his eyes toward Sodom. Genesis 13 12 says Lot pitched his tent toward Sodom. Genesis 14 says Lot was dwelling in Sodom, and Genesis 19, Lot is sitting in the gate of Sodom. Every single step brought him deeper and deeper into a wicked culture. You know, the tragedy of this was, is that I believe that Lot was a righteous person in the beginning. Righteous means in right standing. I want to believe that if Abram said, okay, nephew, you can come with me, there was good in Lot. Abram saw something good in his nephew, and Abram was like, you know, I'll pour into you, son. I'll teach you, I'll train you, I'll show you, and just follow my example. So I believe Lot started as a righteous young man, but he became way too comfortable sitting close to darkness. And by the time judgment came, when those two angels came to destroy, his family struggled to leave. The angels told him, we're going to destroy this city, and Lot was like, you can't destroy. What about my family? And he says, well, I'll tell you what, you better grab your family, because we're going to destroy the city. And he went to his daughters and his sons-in-law. He says, we got to go, we got to go. He told his wife, we got to go, and his wife says, I don't want to go. Man, you are supposed to be the head of your household. You're supposed to be the spiritual

spiritual covering of your house, but I'm going to tell you this right now. If you are indulging in sin, then you're bringing your wife into this, and your kids into it. The day is going to come when the light turns on. You're saying, oh my God, I'm in Sodom, and Sodom is in me, and you want to now leave. Your family will not come with you, because they're used to that, and that was your fault. You have to answer for that, because you are the man. God is not going to say to your wife. He's going to say to you, hey, where's your family at? I'm here, Lord. Yeah, I see that, but where's the wife and the children that I gave you? Oh, they're back in Sodom. Then why are you here alone? Because they didn't want to come, and God's going to say, that was your fault, man. I put you head over that household. His son and son's-in-law mocked. He finally convinced his wife to leave, and the angel told them, if you even turn back to look at the city, because I'm going to destroy it, you will turn into a pillar of salt. The Bible says that as Lot was running, his wife and his children were turned into a pillar of salt. Wife yearned for Sodom so bad, she wanted to look back one more time. This is a dangerous thing, men. Because if you lead your family to Sodom, and if the light turns on and you want to pull them away, you have no idea that you're pulling this way and the whole time wife is looking back at the world. Salt is bitter. And that's a dangerous thing, men. I am not saying, see, wives, you cannot blame your husband because you still gotta stand before God, no matter what. But I believe, I believe that there's gonna be a greater judgment for the husbands that have led their wives astray, and their families. And we don't like to talk about that, that doesn't bring in fulfilled churches, but hey, the truth is the truth.

So when the dust settled with Lot, spiritual compromise surrounding Lot produced long-term consequences that affected future generations, which you were involving your wife and your children and your grandchildren in, what's going to happen is gonna affect the generations after you're gone. Why would you want to cause a train wreck in your legacy? Because what, because you want to indulge with Sodom a little bit? You want to indulge with Gomorrah a little bit? And the whole time you're leaving a legacy of wickedness, a long-term consequence of just destruction. Lot chose to be near wickedness. His family became spiritually damaged because the culture that he put them in and after the destruction of Sodom, his two daughters acted with distorted thinking in their corrupt environment because they thought it was the end of the world, so they got their father drunk and they both slept with him because they said, we need to produce more because everything is destroyed. And both daughters got pregnant, and they had a baby, and they had a baby, and they had a baby, and they had a baby,

and both daughters got pregnant. And out of that family came the nation of Moab, a nation that was wicked and followed after false gods. Because of what Lot did, it created an entire people that were wicked. From that broken situation, not only the nation of Moab, but from Ammon, the Ammonites. Those two nations that came from the two daughters of Lot grew to be nations that became stumbling blocks for Israel later on. All because of this. All because Lot said, Uncle, I'll take the green side. And that spun the whole thing. What would life be if you had a time machine and went forward 100 years to see where your family is? You know, you can't choose what your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren do. You can't. All you can do is establish a godly home. That's all you can do. You can't control what people do. But what if you lived a Christian life in Sodom and you fast-forwarded to the future 100 years and you saw your family suffering and it all led back to your choices? How would that weigh on you? You know, I know I'm not the perfect son. I know I'm not the perfect husband.

I know I'm not the perfect dad. I know I'm not the perfect grandpa. But I pray someday when my grandchildren are old, they're gonna have memories and they're gonna tell their children and their children's children, I remember my grandpa preaching about Jesus. That's the legacy I want to leave. What is the legacy you want to leave? That's something that we need to think about and really come down to this thing because yes, Lot was saved out of the situation, but barely, but his choices affected his family deeply. By the end of the story, he lost his home, he lost his wife, he lost his testimony, and his descendants became nothing. Nations known for opposing God in the future What we tolerate today Can shape the generations of tomorrow Let me say that slowly what we tolerate today can shape your generation Tomorrow in Matthew 24 12 You 24 12 It says this In the words of Jesus It says because lawlessness will be increased the love of many will grow cold This is Jesus telling us about what the future is going to be like and that lawlessness is going to increase and and we know that from the world, but unfortunately we see that in the church and

That the love of many will grow cold I'm gonna go quickly through some scripture. So you might want to write it down I'm not gonna wait for you because I want to get this message in in Romans 12 to It says do not be conformed to this world. You know what? I see when I see that don't be conformed to Sodom But be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern What is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect. So Romans 12 to says don't be conformed to Sodom Don't be conformed to this world don't be conformed don't be a lot Matter of fact, I love it because in Joshua 24 15 He's talking to the people and he gathers everybody there They're about to enter into the promised land and he says this to them He says if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord He challenges the whole people of Israel He says choose this day who you will serve Whether the God of your fathers served in the region beyond the river or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord This is a choice that we all need to make individually collectively as families as individuals as husbands as as wives As is to say, you know what? I'm not gonna serve the the gods of the past I'm not gonna serve the alcohol and the drugs and the gangs and the whatever perversions of the past or the witchcraft I'm not gonna serve those things Because that's for me in my house. We will not live in Sodom. We will not dwell in Sodom I wouldn't even get close to Sodom because that's for me in my house. We're gonna serve the Lord We're gonna serve God we're gonna go forward. I'm gonna change the legacy of my family I'm gonna change the direction. My family was going this way But I'm gonna turn this thing around because I want to see my children serving God I want to see my grandchildren serving God. I want to see my grandchildren coming up here and leading worship I want to see them evangelizing and preaching the gospel But the God of this world is gonna come after your kids And he's gonna come after your grandkids But you know what greater is he who's in you than he who's in the world

That's why we need to fight against this because everything in you wants to get closer to Sodom It all begins with compromise The people that you allow into your home Your language and the way that you talk How you carry yourself and how you are your character and Who and what you allow in your circle? All of these things begins with the compromise But in Ephesians 6 11 and 12 look what it says Ephesians 6 11 and 12 says put on the whole armor of God So there's something to do you know who puts armor on the whole armor of God Soldiers There's no reason to put on armor unless you're gonna fight Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil And it goes back to the verse we read, for we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. This is why, as believers, we need to guard our homes. We need to guard our hearts carefully, because the devil rarely would destroy a family instantly. He will work subtly, patiently, and progressively. In the same way, see, Satan has always given himself away, and he will convince you that as long as you're on the edge, you're not close to Sodom, you're okay. And as long as you pitch your tent a little closer, you're okay, it's like you're not in Sodom. And then when you're living in Sodom, it's like, well, it's okay, you're not a person of influence. And all of a sudden, you find yourself at the gate,

and you realize that you are this city, and this city is you now. And you don't even recognize yourself anymore, because worship won't move you anymore. You don't even remember to pray. You read the Bible, and it's so boring to you. And you conversations, when it comes to God, you want to roll your eyes and all that, because you're in Sodom. The name of Jesus doesn't even move you anymore. We cannot become comfortable with what God has called wicked. As I'm wrapping this up, I want to say that, family, we need to keep the light, the lamp of the gospel burning brightly in our homes, while the world grows darker and darker around us. Because, you know, we look at this flyer, and there's so much wickedness around him. But I don't know if you can tell or not, but they're not getting close to him, because he's holding that fire. That fire is a representation of the presence of God, and the glory of God. And that as long as you stay close to him, nothing will harm you. You need to stay close to him, and go for your family around you, and allow the glory of his light to surround your family. Because even though this is a wicked world,

the Bible says that when we come under his wings, the way a hen holds her chicks, that he protects. And we need to do that to our children, and to our wives, and to our grandchildren, and to fight for them, and protect them. Because everything in this world wants to destroy them. And everything, it seems like, is just entertainment, and music, and cartoons, and movies. But there's so much wickedness that is literally designed to destroy our children and our grandchildren. There's no man here that if I say, hey man, what if somebody snatched one of your kids up? You're like, oh no, that ain't gonna happen. And you know what, that's fine, but you're letting Satan snatch him up all day long. Matter of fact, you're the one that opened the door. What does it matter if you protect them from those that can hurt the children, if there's a true enemy that wants to kill them? The darkness may grow darker around us, but the answer is not fear. I'm not telling you this so you can have fear. I'm telling this so you can be alert. I'm telling this so you can keep that flame burning. Because the moment that fire goes out, the moment the torch goes out, those things will come in. So I'm gonna keep that torch going by praying over my family. I'm gonna keep that torch going by having worship in my house, in my heart, and in my home.

I'm gonna keep that torch burning so that light will surround my entire children. Lord, I don't want you just to protect me, Lord God. I want your glow of your glory to go over my children, my children's children, even if I'm not with them, Lord God, that that fire, Lord God, will carry over over them. We guard our homes, we protect our families, we will stay watchful, we will stay prayerful, we will stay close to Jesus. I don't wanna be close to Sodom. I wanna be close to you, Lord. I wanna be close to you. Because no matter what, no matter how dark this world becomes, the light of Christ will still shine. Even demons tremble at his name because they believe. I heard that an atheist is worse than a demon because even the demons believe. John 1 5 says that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcame it. Let's all stand. We don't want to live in fear, but we want to understand that the wicked is real. The darkness is real. We don't run from it, but we don't embrace it either. We're going to have an altar call, but before we do, if there's anyone here that if you like to give your life to the Lord, to surrender your life, what better day than today? I can't think of one day better than today. Today's the day of salvation.

Tomorrow isn't promised. Revelation says that you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. You shall be saved. That's what the Bible says. The Bible doesn't lie. Remember, this is the ruler. This is a standard. This will never change on a summer or winter or good day, bad day, storm or whatever. It doesn't change, and it says that if you confess with your mouth and your heart that Jesus is Lord, you shall be saved, and if that is you, I want you to, if you want to come up, you can come up. You want to stay where you're at. If you're on your bunk and you're watching this, I want you to stand up in the name of Jesus because right now your whole life is about to reset, and I want you to repeat after me if you want to pray this prayer and just say, Lord God, I repent of all my sins. I believe you died on the cross, and after three days, you rose in power. Take out my heart of stone and give me a brand new heart. Bring your spirit upon me, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen, amen, amen. Let's give the Lord a hand. If you have a loved one that's not yet saved, I want you to be part of this altar call. If you have a son that isn't saved, I want you to come up to this altar call. If you have a daughter who's not saved, I want you to come up to this altar call. If you have grandchildren who you are crying for and you don't know what's going to happen, I want you to be at this altar call. If you yourself have been in Sodom and you're just realizing that maybe you had to hear this message, I want you to come up to this altar call because you have spent far too much time in Sodom. If you have a brother or sister who's still lost, I want you to come up.

If you have a mother or father who's still lost, I want you to come up. If you have a non-believing husband, non-believing wife, I want you to come up. Maybe it was your fault, maybe it's not, but I want you to come up because we're going to pray together. But I want to share this last thing. For those of you that have brought your family into Sodom, see Lot lost everything. Lost his wife, lost everything, his home. And you think, well, I'm Lot, so what chance do I have? Well, even though out of Lot came Moab, and Moab became a wicked nation, there was a woman in Moab and her name was Ruth. And she had a mother-in-law named Naomi. And her husband died. And Naomi said, daughter-in-law, you're beautiful, you're young, just stay here in Moab. No reason to follow me, you can just find another husband. And Ruth says, even though being from Moabite and being from the lineage of Lot, she says, no, Naomi, I will follow you. Your God will be my God. And I will go where you go, and where you die, I will die. Do you know out of Ruth came King David? Out of King David came Solomon. And out of King Solomon came Jesus. So if you were a Lot and you destroyed everything, I believe that the story of Ruth is there to show us that God can still redeem those that have chosen to walk away. So there's hope. You have hope. There's something there. He can still turn it around. He can still turn things around. Angel, you want to share something? Okay. Amen. So I'm gonna pray for you. Bow your heads. Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray for every person here, Lord God. We all came up. We all have lost ones, Lord. We come in this wicked world, Lord God, but we don't want to be part of this wicked world. Give us the words, Lord God. Give us not only the words, but let us be a living example to those that we need to reach, those that are lost, those that we

love, those that we cry for, those that we don't even know what they're doing or they don't even understand, Lord God. I don't know how to bring them to you, Lord. I pray in the name of Jesus that we be given discernment. I pray in the name of Jesus that we be given the right words. I pray in the name of Jesus that we be a living example, that even though this world is living in Sodom and my loved ones are living in Sodom, Lord, let me be an example of the light, your light, that darkness flees because I will choose as for me and my house. We will serve the Lord. We will have a home that worships you. We will have a family that worships you. We will have prayer in our home and worship in our home. We will not allow Sodom to come into our houses. We will not allow Sodom to come into our hearts or into our minds. We will chase after you and serve after you, Lord God. We will be an example of who you have called us to be. We will be like Abram, Lord God. You told them to leave his situation and to go to something greater because out of him you will make a great nation. I believe that everybody here, God has something greater for them. God has something greater for them. They are just the beginning. Lord God, I pray, Lord God, that you reveal to them in visions and dreams what it is that you have for them. You have a greater calling. They are not here just to sit here every Sunday. There is ministry in each and every person here. There are teachers here and evangelists. There are prophets and prophetesses here, Lord God. There are preachers and worship leaders. There are prayer warriors here. There are some that will travel the world. There are some that will take the seed of house of rest and just turn it into something greater that I could never even have reached. Let it begin here. Let it begin now. Let us be the example. Let us set the trend to not get closer to Sodom, but to get furthest away that we possibly can. Let's worship. Spend some time with your Savior. Just close your eyes. Forget the people around you. Do you see Him?

No venimos a la iglesia para ver quién vino o quién no vino, vinimos para enfocarnos en escuchar la voz de Dios y el mensaje que Él tiene para nosotros, amén. Hoy vamos a hablar sobre el amor de Dios y el amor del ser humano, amén. El amor de Dios, dice la Escritura, sobrepasa todo entendimiento. ¿Por qué dice la Escritura eso? Porque a veces el amor de Dios no lo podemos comprender a veces. ¿Por qué Dios envió a su Hijo unigénito Jesucristo a este mundo para morir por un pecador como yo o como tú? ¿Verdad? ¿Por qué lo hizo? Dice la Escritura, por cuanto Dios amó al mundo, Él envió a su Hijo unigénito Jesucristo a este mundo para que todo el que en Él crea no se pierda más tenga vida eterna. Por eso te ama Dios, porque tú eres una creación de Dios y Él lo que quiere es una relación contigo nuevamente. En el jardín Adán y Eva tomaron del árbol del fruto, tomaron fruto de ese árbol que Dios les dijo que no comieran. Y en el momento que Adán y Eva comieron de ese fruto, dice la Escritura que sus ojos fueron abiertos. Fueron abiertos. ¿Y qué quiere decir eso? Que en ese momento entró una desobediencia en el hombre que lo llevó a morirse fisicalmente. Y separarse de Dios espiritualmente. Reconocieron que estaban desnudos ambos y se escondieron. Dice la Escritura que Dios llegó a ese jardín donde estaban y los llamó. Le dijo, Adán, ¿dónde estás? Y Adán dijo, no, pues estoy acá, estoy escondido. ¿Verdad? Y entonces nosotros nos ponemos a reflexionar. El amor de Dios es un amor profundo que a veces no podemos comprenderlo. ¿Por qué Dios, siendo Dios y siendo amor, Envió a su hijo a morir por ti y por mí. ¿Sabes? Esa es una pregunta que nosotros nos debemos hacer día tras día

y contestarla con que él quiere nuevamente una relación íntima espiritual como en el principio con Adán y Eva. Dios no ama más a los animales, a los insectos, a los peces, a las aves o a los árboles o cualquier cosa creada que hubiese en el mundo. Él no ama todas estas cosas más que a ti o que a mí. Él nos ama a nosotros profundamente porque somos su creación. Dice la Escritura que nos formó en el vientre de nuestra madre, que Él entretejió cada parte de nuestro cuerpo, la puso en su lugar. Él te ama a ti y a todo ser humano. ¿Por qué? Porque somos la imagen y semejanza de Él. ¿Somos qué? Su creación divina. A través de los años se ha perdido una identidad, una identidad de hijos e hijas de Dios. Y yo creo que Dios, a través del amor que Él nos da a través de su Hijo, Él nos llama a nosotros para atrás a Él. Y Él busca de nosotros una relación íntima espiritual donde podamos estar, ¿qué? Conectados con el Creador de todo. Él es el Creador. Eva rompió la íntima relación espiritual como hija y luego ella dio a comer a su esposo y también él comió de ese fruto. Pero Dios no terminó de amarlos. Él los amaba también, como a muchos de nosotros, cuando estábamos perdidos en vicios, en cosas que no debiéramos andar en el mundo. Aún en medio de todo lo que estamos haciendo, Dios todavía nos ama y nos sigue amando. La Escritura claramente dice en el libro de Romanos capítulo 8 que nada podrá separarnos del amor de Dios que está en Cristo Jesús. Dice la Escritura que ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo alto, ni lo bajo, ni lo profundo, nada, nada nos podrá separar del amor de Dios. Vemos las personas que andan en las calles, perdidas, errantes, sin esperanza, porque están separadas de Dios. Y las vemos, y vemos que están caminando para allá y para acá,

no tienen consuelo en su corazón, no tienen paz en su corazón. ¿Por qué? Porque están alejadas de Dios. Y yo te lo digo por experiencia, por experiencia. Pero ¿sabes? Dios Padre envió a su Hijo Jesús para rescatarnos nuevamente. Y esa es la razón por la cual Él envió a su Hijo, para nuevamente rescatarnos y sacarnos de la condición física de condenación que acarrea nuestra vida a través del pecado. Porque ¿sabes? La Escritura dice claramente que la paga del pecado es muerte. O sea, hay una condenación donde se rompe la intimidez espiritual entre el hombre, la mujer y Dios. Se rompe a través del pecado. Pero ¿sabes? Dice también la Escritura que el regalo de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús. Tenemos el medio, Jesucristo es el medio que Dios proveyó para que nosotros nuevamente pudiéramos ¿qué? Amarlo a Él. ¿Sabes? Nosotros primeramente no amamos a Dios. Dios nos ha amado a nosotros primeramente y es como nosotros podemos amar a Dios. ¿Amén? Podemos amar a Dios. Hoy muchos no entienden que no todos somos hijos de Dios. Y yo sé que lo ha dicho y lo he dicho y lo repito porque es la realidad. No todas las personas que son creadas por Dios son hijos de Dios. Y te digo claramente y te he explicado porque el pecado ha separado íntimamente espiritual al hombre y la mujer de relacionarse con Dios. El apóstol Juan dice, más a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio potestad de ser ¿qué? Hechos hijos de Dios. de Dios, los cuales no son engendrados de sangre, ni de voluntad humana, ni de voluntad de varón, sino de Dios. El hecho de que nosotros nos conviertamos en hijos e hijas de Dios, no fue un hecho de

de hombre y mujer, fue un hecho de Dios, fue una obra de Dios, que él proveyó a su hijo para que nuevamente pudiéramos tener la potestad, o sea, pudiéramos tener la relación con Dios a través de su hijo. Hermano Adán, ¿es cierto o no? Bueno, Dios fácilmente pudiera destruir a toda su creación hoy, y te lo digo con toda verdad. En el tiempo de Noé, vemos en el capítulo 6 de Génesis, que el hombre y la mujer continuamente tenían en su corazón el hacer el mal. Hoy miramos a Estados Unidos y a todo el mundo, no nomás a Estados Unidos, miramos la maldad que se ha levantado hoy y la rebeldía que se ha levantado hoy y la desobediencia que se ha levantado hoy en contra de Dios. Por eso yo te digo que Dios fácilmente pudiera destruir a toda su creación hoy y hacer empezar otra vez. Lo hizo en el tiempo de Noé y lo puede hacer en el tiempo de hoy. Lo puede hacer en el tiempo de hoy, pero él nos ama más de lo que nosotros imaginamos. Él nos ama profundamente y desea que tú y yo, y todo ser humano, tengan una relación con él. Dios ha destruido ciudades. En el libro de Génesis te das cuenta que Dios destruyó a... perdón, cómo se me perdió... Sodoma y Gomorra, perdón, Sodoma y Gomorra, dos ciudades completamente destruidas por el fuego. Yo te aseguro de que Dios enviaba profeta, Dios enviaba personas que predicaron el arrepentimiento y nunca se arrepintieron. Hasta que Dios dijo hasta aquí y las destruyó. ¿Ustedes creen que cuando Dios destruyó al ser humano, excepto Noé y su familia, ¿ustedes creen que él quería destruir a su creación? ¿O deshacerse de su creación? Él dio a su Hijo Preciado, Jesucristo, para que nosotros experimentáramos el amor que Él nos da a través de su Hijo, como un Padre. ¿Cuántos de ustedes son padres? Muchos de nosotros somos padres, ¿verdad? ¿Cuánto amas a tu Hijo o a tu Hija? Demasiado, ¿verdad? ¿Verdad que sí? Bueno, Dios nos ama más que nosotros amamos a nuestros hijos. Nos ama profundamente. Él estuvo dispuesto a dar lo que Él tenía para darnos otra oportunidad de regresar a Él. Dice la Escritura verdaderamente que Dios es amor, pero también no nos olvidemos de que Dios es fuego consumidor. ¿Qué quiere decir eso? Quiere decir que si Dios te ama, te da la oportunidad de arrepentirte, pero si no te arrepientes y tú mueres sin arrepentirte de tus pecados y tus maldades, entonces Dios, como es justo, tiene que juzgarte. Tiene que juzgarte. Y muchas de las veces hay personas como los mormones y diferentes religiones que dicen, no, pues Dios, ¿cómo va a castigar a su Hijo, a su Hija, o sea, a su creación en el infierno? where there is separation from God. The word propitiation is the act by which the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross appeases the just wrath of God against sin, satisfying his justice and restoring our relationship with him. That is propitiation, what it means. When we say Jesus was our propitiation, Jesus, what we are saying, Jesus took my place on the cross. Because you and I deserve to be crucified on a cross. Amen? When Jesus was being crucified on a cross, there were two people next to him. Do you remember? And what did they say? These people started to make fun of him.

Nosotros como padres queremos un trabajo, queremos un carro, queremos una casa, nos da Dios todo eso y a veces hay personas que se olvidan de Dios, que se olvidan de Dios. ¿Dónde está el amor de Dios en ellos? Que ni siquiera pueden usar lo que Dios les ha dado para glorificarle y darle la honra a Él. ¿Sabes? Nunca culpemos a Dios por nuestras decisiones. El pueblo de Israel fue un pueblo como nosotros, que a veces no agarramos la onda y a veces cometemos error tras error y error. ¿Están de acuerdo o no? ¿Cuál de ustedes o yo tenemos un... ¿Cómo se dice? ¿Cómo se dice? ¿Cómo? Las personas que rechazan a Jesús todavía son amados por Dios. Son amados por Dios. Y ¿sabes? Dios te ama aún antes de que te arrepintieras. Dios te amaba. Te amaba. Seamos buenos, seamos malos, Dios siempre nos va a amar. Que nos castigue es otra cosa. Por eso Dios es amor, pero también Dios es fuego consumidor. ¿Amén? Dice la escritura en el libro de Hebreos capítulo 9, versículo 27 al 28. Amén. Ahora sí vamos a empezar el mensaje. ¿Están listos? Bueno, el amor de Dios y el amor del ser humano. Tomen notas. Comienzo con una historia real, ya la escuchamos hace dos semanas atrás. Yo sé que algunos a lo mejor se olvidaron, pero Nick Vujicic nació sin brazos y sin piernas, y desde muy pequeño enfrentó rechazo, burlas, y una profunda sensación de inutilidad. En la escuela, otros niños lo miraban como alguien diferente, y eso marcó su identidad, de que él era raro. Llegó a un punto en su vida, cuando él apenas tenía 10 años, que él decidió que no quería vivir, siguiendo vivir. Él intentó quitarse la vida, pero algo cambió un día. Él escuchó del amor de Dios, y con el tiempo comenzó a descubrir una verdad profunda, como lo dice el libro de Salmos, capítulo 139, versículo 14, que dice, Te alabaré, porque formidables, maravillosas, son tus obras. Desde entonces, Nick empezó a ver su vida desde otra perspectiva, y primero, él se dio cuenta de que no era un error su nacimiento. Muchas personas creen que son un error, porque han nacido diferentes, con defectos. Pero no eres un error. Dios te formó en el vientre de tu madre. Y si tú saliste defectoso, no le hace. Hay un plan y propósito detrás de ese nacimiento. Amén. Él se dio cuenta de que él no era un error haber nacido sin piernas y sin brazos. Segundo, él aceptó de que no era un accidente. No eres un accidente. El hecho de que Dios te trajo a este mundo y usó a tu papá y a tu mamá, fue un hecho con plan divino. Algunos hijos o hijas crecen a ser iguales que sus padres, y a veces hay un destino que los lleva a ser como ellos, pero llega un momento donde ellos tienen que tomar la decisión por sí misma de no ser como sus padres. ¿Verdad? Gracias a Dios tuve el privilegio, y más que un privilegio, de poder instruir a mis hijas en el camino de Dios. Mis hijas eran muy chicas. Una tenía tres, cinco años, y otra tenía ocho. Y bendiga todo mi ser su santo nombre. Bendice alma mía a Jehová y no olvides ninguno de sus beneficios. Él es quien perdona todas tus iniquidades, el que sana todas tus dolencias, el que rescata del hoyo tu vida, el que te corona de favores y misericordias. El que sacia de bien tu boca de modo que te rejuvenezcas como el águila. ¿Amén? Jehová es el que hace justicia y derecho a todos los que padecen violencia. Salmos 139, versículo 13, dice lo siguiente, porque tú formaste mis entrañas. Tú me hiciste en el vientre de mi madre. Te alabaré porque formidables, maravillosas son tus obras. Y en tu libro estaban escritas todas aquellas cosas que fueron luego formadas sin faltar una de ellas. ¿Ves que no eres equivocación? ¿Ves que no eres un error? Démosle gracias a Dios porque Él nos ama de verdad, no con condiciones. Dios nos ama incondicionalmente y eso tenemos que aprender. Nunca podremos ganar el amor de Dios y nunca podremos comprar el amor de Dios. El amor de Dios es gratis para nosotros, su creación. Amén. Amémonos unos a otros porque Jesús así lo desea. Y lo dice claramente la Escritura porque el amor es de Dios. Y dice todo aquel que ama es nacido de Dios y conoce a Dios. Si tú no has aprendido a amar incondicionalmente, no has conocido a Dios completamente. Porque Dios es amor. Amén. Y si tú eres un hijo o una hija de Dios, dice la Escritura que Dios derramó de su amor en nuestro corazón a través del Espíritu Santo. Si yo o tú somos hijos de Dios, debemos amar incondicionalmente.

A todas las personas, a una de las más malas que hay en este mundo, debemos amar. Sea lo imposible que sea para ti o para mí, debemos amarlas. Amén. Ese es el primer y grande mandamiento y dice y el segundo es semejante amaras a tu prójimo como a ti mismo y como les he dicho no podemos dar de lo que no hemos recibido y muchos de nosotros a veces no hemos recibido el amor como debiéramos recibirlo como ser humano un ejemplo bíblico es el hijo pródigo Lucas capítulo 15 versículo 11 al 24 habla sobre un hijo y un padre el hijo número uno se fue pidió su herencia dame lo que es mío aunque no era el momento que debiera recibir su herencia dijo padre dame mi herencia agarró su herencia se fue a la casa segundo falló malgastó todo lo que tenía ahí dice la escritura en borrachándose dándole dándole a la vida y número tres lo importante él perdió todo y sabes a veces tenemos que perderlo todo para reflexionar en nuestra vida y saber de que es mucho mejor estar en casa amén estar en casa es mucho mejor estar en casa para nosotros los creyentes es mucho mejor estar con dios que apartados de dios porque aunque el mundo te ofrezca lo que te ofrezca riquezas fama todo tu nombre a lo todo eso el diablo te lo quita te lo ofrece te lo da y lo te lo quita pero sabes dios te da una vida eterna

que es eterna dios te da una salvación que te salva dios te lo que te da él no te lo quita si tú lo pierdes es porque tú lo tú decidiste es perderlo amén perderlo lo que él te ha dado pero el padre lo vio de lejos a ese hijo corrió hacia él y lo restauró le dijo hagan fiesta hagan esto el otro porque mi hijo que aún estaba perdido ha regresado y ahora está vivo amén ha vuelto a vivir nosotros como como creación de dios y seres humanos que somos tendemos a fallar y muchas veces fallamos porque los deseos del corazón las pasiones que vemos y lo que mira nuestros ojos a veces nos distraen del plan y propósito que dios ha puesto sobre nuestra vida en el libro de primera de juan capítulo 2 versículo 15 dice que no amemos al mundo ni las cosas que hay en el mundo porque los deseos de la carne la vanagloria de la vida y lo que lo ven los ojos lo que ven los ojos todo eso es temporano o sea no dura y todo eso dice la escritura no viene del padre sino del mundo pero dice más el que hace la voluntad de dios permanecerá para siempre amén una aplicación que debemos aplicar en nuestra vida es digan conmigo como ama a dios así debemos amar nosotros un hombre fue traicionado por su mejor amigo cuántos de ustedes han sido traicionados por sus amigos sus amigos hermano luis oh ok sabes voy a darles un ejemplo cuando es difícil perdonar un hombre fue traicionado por su mejor amigo y yo sé que algunos de nosotros hemos sido traicionados también por nuestro mejor amigo

pero durante años vivió con un enojo esta persona que fue traicionada y pasó año tras año y en su corazón tenía una ira un enojo en contra de ese amigo que lo traicionó Y pues claro, su vida no era igual, o sea, se estaba decayendo. Pero al conocer a Dios, entendió que el perdón no excusa a la otra persona que te dañó, porque el otro, o la otra, sigue en su vida como si nada. Pero el perdón que nosotros podemos dar a una persona que nos ha traicionado, o engañado, o dañado, es un perdón que nos libera nuestro corazón. Si Dios nos ha hecho libres para gozarnos, para danzar, para cantar, para adorarle a Él, para hacer todo lo que necesitamos que hacer para tener una vida alegre en este mundo. No te voy a decir que todo es color de rosa en el camino de Dios, porque no lo es. Te estuviera mintiendo si te dijera que todo va a ser bueno. ¿Amén? Número tres. El amor en acción. Dios nos dice que no amemos de palabras solamente, sino de hecho. Si un perro nos puede demostrar la lealtad a su amo, ¿cómo nosotros no podemos demostrar lealtad a nuestro Creador, a Dios? Que nos ha amado tanto que dio a su Hijo enigénico. Amén. Nosotros como seres humanos debemos hacer como Cristo. Amar a Dios y serle leal hasta la muerte, hasta que suspiremos el último suspiro. Yo creo que todo ser humano que está a punto de morirse enfermo o en un accidente, antes de que tome su último suspiro, tiene esa oportunidad de arrepentirse de sus pecados. Tiene la oportunidad. ¿Amén? Pónganse de pie. Si tú hoy en este día nunca has rendido tu vida a Jesucristo y nunca has empezado una relación con tu Padre Celestial, con tu Creador, hoy puede ser el día que tú rindas tu vida a Él y empieces a experimentar el amor que Dios tiene para tu vida a través de su Hijo Jesucristo. La Biblia dice claramente que todo el que cree en el Hijo, en Jesucristo, será salvo. Y creer en Jesucristo es creerle a Jesucristo, de que Él es la propización por nuestros pecados,

Y en este día, yo quiero confesar con mi boca y creer en mi corazón que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios y es Dios.
