Called to Be a Disciple CLASS 9 | The Disciple’s Rest
“Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while.” In these words to His disciples, Jesus instructs them to intentionally take time away from the labor of their work. And in our demanding world where there seems to be a never-ending work to be done, Jesus calls us all to participate in a time of refreshment. In this class, we’ll look to the life of Jesus and understand His call for rest. You’ll see rest differently and amid the busyness —even in our spiritual work—be challenged to incorporate healthy spiritual rhythms of rest into your life.
