Build Again | Pastor Brian Dean | Overflow Month

You're happy to be in the house this morning. I hope you've gotten all your coffee. I hope you're ready for this. I hope you're prepared for this. But before we get into the word, let me give you just two quick announcements. First of all, August 16th, mark your calendars. That is anointing Sunday. You do not want to miss that Sunday. This is an amazing time every year that we gather together and our team prays over every person in this place. You go, pastor, how do you do it? You've mastered this whole thing, but we want to challenge you to be a part of it because we believe that the rest of your year is going to be the best of your year. Can I get an amen from somebody, but we want to pray over you as your kids are going back to school, stand in agreement with you for what you're believing in and your family, but it is anointing Sunday. And so we will pray over every person in this place, but I'm going to challenge you get here early because this place gets filled up when we do anointing Sunday. And so you don't want to miss it. Make plans to be here. And then pastor Michael wanted me to let you know that he is with his boys along with pastor Lindsay at the junior Olympics. They're playing football at the junior Olympics flag football. They're doing an amazing job and I would just ask that you continue to pray for them over this weekend. But he wanted me to let you know he will be back in the house next Sunday for an, with an amazing word just for you and you want to invite somebody to be a part of that. So make plans to be here at the house next Sunday. Pastor Micah will be back with us again and, uh, pray for us, pray for his boys. We just want them to win everything.

Amen. Amen. Y'all, y'all were like, huh? No, I'm serious. We were at all of it. We don't know. I'm just kidding. Uh, would that be a set? You're ready to get the word. I'm going to try that again. So y'all ready to get in the word. Thank you Lord. Help us. Listen. Greetings from Modesto, California, where it, this morning was a nice balmy 74 degrees. Ha ha. I got off the plane the other yesterday and it was 103 devils alive. Not today. Not me. Amen. I went, what happened? Oh, that's Texas heat. Praise him. Uh, I want to get into this word to you. I've got a word for you. I'm so honored to be here. I'm so honored that pastor Michael would allow me the opportunity to come back home for those who don't know me. My name is Pastor Brian. I'm the campus pastor of our Modesto campus in Modesto, California, but I spent the last

two years right here serving alongside some of you loving in each one of you. So it's always good to come back home and minister to this house. Let's get into the word together. Listen, there are moments when God lets you enjoy what has been built and then there are moments when God looks at people and says, it's time to build again. And I believe across all of our campus, this is that moment. It is time to build again. Listen. Fall is more than just a change in weather. It's more than just kids going back to school. It's more than routine starting and calendars filling up in sports, Friday night games and all of the stuff that we get involved in. It is a moment when God begins to call his people out of the summer mode, out of spiritual autopilot, out of comfort and back into purpose. Listen, I don't know if you realize what's happening here, but there are people who will walk through these doors in the next few months who don't know Jesus yet. There are marriages that are going to be restored. There are children who are going to experience the love of God, teenagers who are going to realize their purpose, families who are going to find hope and lost loved ones who are going to come home. But I need you to understand that none of this happens by accident. Somebody has to serve. Somebody has to give. Somebody has to pray. Someone has to lead. Somebody has to open up a door, hold a baby, disciple a student, welcome a family, clean a toilet. Amen. And make room for one more person to encounter Jesus. Someone has to build again.

I love the book of Haggai because it speaks to this very thing. And this is where we will be throughout the context of our message today. This statements, these, this context of scripture is a word for a people that had become comfortable in living in finished houses while the house of God remained unfinished. They were building their own lives, but they had stopped building what mattered to God. And what mattered to God was his house. And I believe God is asking us the same question today. Will you only build what benefits you or will you help build what reaches people? Because when you build God's house, you're not just building a building. You're building a place where the broken can heal. You're building a place. for the lost can be found where children can know Jesus and where generations can be changed but let me say this to you you're building a house that not only touched your life but was meant to touch so many more so this fall let's go ahead and make this declaration we're not moving we're not backing up we're not slowing down we're not settling into comfort we're rising up to serve we're stretching our faith to give we're putting our hands to work to build his house this house because the greatest days of the church are not behind us we have had amazing moments but the greatest days are right in front of us ready for you and i to step in and build again but before we can talk about building we have to answer this first pivotal question what has first place in your life because the issue in haggai wasn't that god's people stopped believing in him they just stopped putting him first their priorities slowly drifted their attention shifted their focus became consumed with building their own lives while god's house sat unfinished and here's what i've learned over the years whatever's first in our lives will always receive the best of our time our energy and our resources and if god's house is going to be strong in this next season it starts with the people who decide that god's kingdom god's house this house must be built and not just built but built again today i want to give you some truth between behind building his house but not just building what was and let me say this to you there is a danger when we start saying well if we could just have what we used to have but understand if you had what you used to have you have to fight the same enemies that you used to fight that god doesn't just do a thing so you can keep living in a repetitive cycle of

doing the same thing over and over hoping for new results you'll all know that's called insanity the truth of the matter is what god did last year doesn't have to be what he does this year but with expectation and with hands to serve and with a heart to give and with feet that will go god says i can do greater i can do exceedingly i can do abundantly i can do above but i will not do it by myself i need you god will not build his house by himself he will build it with the hearts of people who believe that god is not finished but the best really is yet to come god is calling us in this moment to build again let's pray father we thank you for your word thank you that it has everything that we need and so god as we step into this today god i pray you would lead us and guide us speak to our hearts and our minds let our opinions fall and let the truth reign in us god we want to build again in jesus name amen and amen i want to walk with you through the book of haggai in a couple of places so if you'll turn with me in your bibles because you brought your bibles can i get an amen from somebody the book of haggai chapter one if you said pastor i didn't know there was a book called haggai that is okay you can go look in your table of contents until you find out where haggai is go ahead and look lord's not mad at you if you didn't bring a bible look at your neighbor and see if they brought a bible if nobody on your aisle brought a bible move amen the book of haggai chapter one verse seven it says this it says thus says the lord of hosts consider your ways go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple that i may take pleasure in it and be glorified says the lord now look the people of judah had returned from exile with incredible passion they had laid found the foundation of the temple where there was excitement there was worship there was vision that's the same thing you get here each and every week there's a word that is preached that will change your life there is worship that will lead you to the presence of god there is vision for the future but in this moment something shifted in the book of haggai life happened opposition came the economy got difficult families needed attention gas prices went up can i just vent for two seconds driving down the road the other day and saw that gas was 349 a gallon i almost parked my car and walked to the sign and told the world there is a god in heaven because in california gas is 5.89 now you notice i didn't say that with base in my voice i said that a very high pitched on purpose because that's what i feel in my spirit every time i see the gas Gas is $5.89. It's wild, but in this moment, families needed attention.

Businesses needed to be rebuilt. Years passed, and slowly their priorities shifted. They never stopped building. They just stopped building the right thing. The temple sat unfinished while everyone focused on finishing their own houses. That's why God said just verses prior in verse 4, is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses and this temple to lie in ruins? Now, before you misread that scripture thinking that for some reason God wants you to live under a bridge down by the river somewhere, before you believe that God doesn't want you to have a house to live in and to grow your family, no, because the truth of the matter is the people in the book of Haggai had been blessed with houses by God. They weren't living under a bridge, and God didn't expect them to stop living in their homes. He wasn't against their businesses. He wasn't against their families. He wasn't against their successes. He was confronting a heart that had allowed personal comfort to replace kingdom priority, because whenever God's house becomes secondary, something in our spiritual lives begin to drift. That's why just two verses later in Haggai chapter 1, verse 6, he says this, "'You have so much, but bring in little. You eat, but do not have enough. You drink, but you're not filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes.'" Why? Because they were asking God to bless lives that were no longer centered on his mission. We ask God to bless what we want while ignoring what he wants. It is amazing how we can walk to the Father and say, "'God, give me what I want,' but we will ignore his desire."

His desire is not only to dwell in the hearts of men and women but to have a local church where those who are far from him can come and find refuge for their soul. They can find a new family. Those who have an orphan spirit can find a family and realize that they were never meant to do life alone. They can find the peace of God, the joy of God, the rest of God. That's what he's saying. You stopped. You went to build your home, and you forgot to build mine. So I want to give you the first part about building the house that I need you to understand and I need you to grab ahold of as we walk through these Scriptures today. One statement. Build his first. Not last, not once you get it all together, but to build his first, because this is what I've learned, that the Enemy doesn't have to make you bad. He just has to make you busy. He doesn't have to convince you to abandon God. He just has to convince you to postpone what matters most so that you make statements like this. I'll serve one day. I'll go to growth track one day. I'll give when gas gets down to 99 cents. Then I'll know I've heard from the Lord. Amen. I'll give when it's easy for me. Can I just say this to you real quick? When has it ever been easy? But yet we're waiting for things to be easy to become obedient. No, obedience doesn't happen when it's easy. Obedience comes when it's hard, because your obedience through a tough moment shows you

how big your God is in the middle of the moment. If you would just understand this moment and step into it and understand that when God says give, you don't push your pockets down. You go, God, what would you have me to do? When God says serve, God, I don't understand, but I'll do what you ask. I'll jump in and I'll be a part of it. Not only jump in when life slows down. Let me say this to you. Life does not slow down. In fact, the more kids you have, the faster life goes. Can I get an amen from a parent somewhere in this room? I had a two-year-old. He's now 18 years old. What happened? I don't know. How did I get here? That's the truth. I'll wait until everything is working in my favor, but what about his favor? Notice God was in the middle of this moment. God was trying to speak to the people. He was trying to cause them to come up rather than stay back, to build his first. If God isn't first now, he won't magically become first later. Kingdom priorities are never discovered by accident. They're chosen. I love the way Jesus says this in Matthew 6, verse 33. He says this, but seek what? Seek what? The kingdom of God. It doesn't say, seek the kingdom of God. It says, seek what?

First, the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. A pastor taught me years ago that the statement right there that the kingdom of God is represented by God's way of doing things. So what he's saying is, seek my way, not yours. Seek my plans, not yours. Build my house, not yours. Build his first, not yours. And watch what I do. Because if you'll do these things and seek righteousness, to live upright, to live holy before your God, at this moment, all these things will be added to you. The problem is, is we've confused scripture. We've gone to God and said, God, if you'll add these things, I'll serve you. God goes, that's not how this works. I'm first. There's this whole movement a couple of years ago called, I am second. And I think it's a great statement because I think what we try to do is climb up on God's throne to try to play king, to tell the world how we think things ought to be. No, step back. Let the king be the king and you be in his kingdom and let him handle the rest. He said, put my kingdom first and I'll help take care of everything. And when you put God's house first, you don't lose. You align yourself with the blessing and the purposes of God. Watch this. Every weekend, someone walks into this church wondering if anyone sees them. A child walks into kids ministry, needing hope. A student walks into youth, carrying questions of life. A single mom walks through these doors, desperate for encouragement. And a man sits in the back wondering if God could ever forgive him. And the miracle they're praying for is often waiting on someone who decided to build, to build his first.

Because when you greet your building, can I just sit right there for a second? Ministry doesn't start here. It starts there. It starts there. It starts when you pull on the parking lot. It starts with a smile. It starts with a handshake. It starts with a good morning. Listen, when you greet your building, when you serve your building, when you give your building, when you invite your building, you're not just filling a position. You're making room for eternity to happen. But once you've decided that God's house is worth building, the next question becomes, where do I fit in this moment? And the beautiful thing about the kingdom of God is that he never asks everyone to do the same thing. He simply asks everyone to do their thing. Let me give you this scripture. The book of Haggai chapter 1, verse 12 through 14. I'm going to read the fullness of this verse. It says this. It says, Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehoshaddak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and sent him. And the people feared the presence of the Lord. Verse 13. Then Haggai, the Lord's messenger, spoke the Lord's message to the people saying, I am with you, says the Lord. So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Jehoshaddak, the high priest, and the spirit of all of the remnant of the people.

And they came and they worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God. Now in these verses of scripture, I love what Haggai doesn't say. It doesn't say that the governor built the temple by himself. It doesn't say that Joshua, the high priest, carried the entire burden. It doesn't even say that the most gifted people did all the work. The Bible says that the Lord stirred up their spirit, all of the remnant of the people. Let me explain what that means. That building of the temple is not the responsibility of just the leadership. It is the responsibility of us as the body of believers, because we believe that we are not hoarders of the move of God, but we are the people who will build a place so that others might come in to receive that move of God. We are not spending our lives trying to maintain our Christianity. We are getting up out of our seats and presenting them so that those who are far from him might find a place to sit and find rest for their souls. Let me say this to you with love. You don't own a seat in this house. You didn't buy it. There is nothing about purchasing the house of God. It is about building the house of God. There are those who came before you that paid for these seats so that you might sit. My question to you is how long before you move and give someone else your seat? God says he stirred the people, all of the remnant of the people, everyone, the leaders, the workers, the families, the craftsmen, the church folk. Because God has never built his house through the gifts of a few, he builds his house through the obedience of many. Notice something else in this verse. Before they ever lifted a finger,

before they ever swung a hammer, God stirred their spirits. The work of God always begins with the Spirit of God. Serving isn't about filling an empty position, it's about responding with a stirred heart. You want me to prove it to you? There was once a day that you were a sinner and God stirred your heart. In that moment of stirring your heart, you were compelled to move from your seat to an altar and receive Jesus and ask him to be the Lord of your life. That's how God moves on his people. He stirs your heart. How did you go bless that mother who needed finances? God stirred your heart. How did you take care of the homeless man on the side of the street? God stirred your heart. How did you bless somebody in your family? God stirred your heart. That wasn't your plan, that was God's plan through you. God gets the glory for it. He stirred you. But it's the same thing with building his house. You don't sit idly by and watch it go and just hope it works. No, the Spirit of God says, build, give, serve. Do more than what you've done. Run a camera, move a fader, sweep a floor, clean a toilet. Can I get an amen?

You know, when you say clean a toilet, everybody gets quiet. They're like, ah, not sure if that's for me. Me, you don't even know the truth? Let me give you truth. You can judge a church real quick by the cleanliness of its toilets. Y'all think I'm kidding you. The truth of the matter is is that we are all doing this together. Because here's what I've learned. He's stirring people. He's stirring some of you to lead an age group, lead a small group. Pastor, I don't know how to preach. I don't know how to lead people, but you might know how to love them. You might know how to open up the doors of your house and welcome them in and share the love of God because some people just need the love of God right now. Some people just need to realize that they're not alone. Maybe he's stirring your heart to serve in kids' ministries. Now, let me say this to you. If you don't like kids, don't serve in kids. Please, don't. Leave them be. Let God heal you, deliver you, set you free, and then go. Don't try to work it out through kids' ministry. Kids will be hung on walls on hooks. We're like, I don't know what happened.

Sir, he's stirring some of you to go to the parking lot. Hello. Pastor, it is too hot in Texas. The Lord did not call me to sweat. I didn't either, but God is asking you to smile. God is asking you to love people. God is asking you to be the first part of ministry, not the last part of ministry. Maybe God's calling some of you, maybe he's stirring some of you to work with our youth department and our young adult department to stop just sitting on the outside, but come and be a part of it. Maybe he's stirring some of you to welcome a first-time guest, but before I do that, if you don't know how to smile, don't be a greeter. Could you imagine you get to the door like, hey, good morning. So glad you're here. It's gonna be a great day in there. Welcome to the house. No. Put a smile on your face, and if you're not good at smiling, put your hand over your whole face and say, God, heal me from the inside out. So I can display. Can I just say this to you? Cause I can say this.

I am the worst at smiling. That when I worked here for two years, they used to tell me, Pastor Brian, we can't tell if you're mad or happy. I'm just thinking, man, leave me alone. Then the team would come to me and say, Pastor Brian, while you're on platform, can you just smile every once in a while? Cause all of your pictures are like this. Okay, I gotta get better. I gotta, Pastor Mike even came to me and said, bro, you gotta smile. I'm happy. He said, just let the rest of your body show it. Got it. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Let it strengthen you to smile. Amen. But some of y'all need to step up and be greeters and greet a first time guest. Stirring someone to stop sitting on the sidelines and step into their calling, because here's the reality. The miracle wasn't that a building got built. The miracle was that a people became builders. So here's my second point for you. Ready? Bring your brick. That's still how God works today. He doesn't ask all of us to do the same thing.

He says, bring the brick I've placed on your heart. If all of us did the same thing, we'd get nothing accomplished. But there are those of you in this room that will do things that I might not have done. There are those of you in this room that will do something over here that this area wouldn't do, but God has called you to do it. And you need to bring your brick. Could you imagine what a church would look like? What would happen if every person in this house simply said, God, whatever you've put in my hands, I'll use it to build your house. Listen, this fall, this next season, these last few months of 2026, every smile matters. Every prayer matters. Every invitation matters. Every volunteer matters. Every gift matters. Every act of obedience matters. Every builder has a place in what God is building. When every person answers the call, the house becomes stronger, the gospel goes farther, and more people meet Jesus. When every builder finds their place, the house begins to rise, the walls go up, and the work moves forward. God has never asked us to build for today alone, though. He always asks us to build for tomorrow, because the greatest impact of what you build today will often be experienced by someone you'll never meet. And that's where Haggai takes us next. The people have started rebuilding. The foundation is laid.

The hammers are swinging. The momentum is back, but then something happens. The older generation who had seen the former temple begins to compare what they're building to what they used to have, and suddenly discouragement fills the job site. Will this ever be as great? Will this ever measure up? Will this really make a difference? And God answers their discouragement with one incredible promise. The book of Haggai, chapter 2, verses 3 through 9, it says this. Who is left among you who saw the temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel, says the Lord, and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehoshadeg, the high priest. And be strong, all ye people of the land, says the Lord, and work, for I am with you, according to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so my spirit remains among you. Do not fear. Hold on. I'm getting to the point. For thus says the Lord of hosts, once more. I love what it puts in parentheses right here. It is a little while. I will shake heaven and earth and the sea and dry land, and I will shake all the nations, and they shall come to the desire of all nations, and I will fill this temple with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine. The gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts. The glory of the latter temple shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts, and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of hosts.

Think about this for just a moment. The second temple was smaller. It wasn't covered with the same gold. It didn't have same outward beauty as Solomon's temple. From a human perspective, it looked less impressive, but God wasn't measuring its appearance. It was measuring it by its purpose because one day Jesus himself would walk into that very temple. Its greatest glory isn't what it looked like. Its greatest glory was who would fill it. So let me give you your point three. The first one was build his first, the second one was bring your brick, and the third one was build for next. Listen, this is how God does work. He doesn't build for applause. He builds for generations. Church, we're not building a house for ourselves. We're building it for the family that's searching for hope. We're building it for the child who's never heard about Jesus. We're building it for the teenager who's wondering if life is even worth living. We're building it for the marriage that's one prayer away from restoration. We're building it for the prodigal who has not come home yet, but every time you serve, you're building something that outlives you. Every time you give, you're investing in a story you'll probably never hear this side of heaven. Every time you invite someone, you're changing an eternal destination. Let me give it to you this way. One day in heaven, you'll be standing in the throne room, and someone will walk up to you and look you right in your face and say, thank you. You might look at that person and go, I don't know you. Thank you for what?

They'll just say, I met Jesus because you made room for me. I met Jesus because you gave up your seat so I could sit. I met Jesus. because I was suicidal and you greeted me at the door. I met Jesus because you sowed and gave your finances to build a house that didn't just touch my family, but it's touched every generation of my family since. I'm saying thank you because of your yes to build again, because you greeted, because you gave, because you served, because you sacrificed, and because you built, I'm here. We think that the greatest response of ending this life is entering into heaven and seeing all the things that we've heard about, but the greatest thing that you'll see is to lean up against the wall of the throne and watch those who you did not have contact with, to watch those that you prayed for walk through those doors into the throne room because you decided to build again, that you didn't get comfortable with maintaining your Christianity, but you decided to step out and say, God, whatever it is you want to do, I want to do it with you. Legacy isn't what you leave behind. It's what lives on because you obeyed God. We don't build monuments to ourselves. We build ministries that point people to Jesus. Can I just say that one more time? We don't build monuments to ourselves. No one's putting a statue of anybody outside the four doors of this church. We build ministries that point people to Jesus. That's the legacy we leave. Stop thinking about what you're building for your future. Stop living your life unto death. Stop trying to obtain all the things that you can get while you're breathing your life here on earth because when you breathe your last, none of that goes with you. If I could just have this big house, if I could just have this fancy car, if I could just have all this stuff, and what are you going to do when it's all over? Yet God says, hey, I want you to be blessed, but I also want a place for my kids in a world where people are searching for answers. Could we just have a place where my glory rests? Could we just have a place where my presence is filled? Could we just have a place of refuge, of healing, of peace, of joy, of rest? Don't just think about what you're building for your future. Ask yourself, what am I building that will still matter when I'm gone? Careers will end. Homes will eventually belong to somebody else. Money will be spent, but every life touched by Jesus, every child discipled, every family restored, and every soul saved will outlive every earthly achievement.

That's the kind of house that must be built. Listen, Haggai begins with unfinished walls, but it ends with an unshakeable promise that the glory of the present house will be greater than that of the former house. That promise wasn't just for the people standing in Jerusalem. I believe that that promise is for us today in this house. I believe God is saying, don't measure this season by what you see today. Measure it by what I'm preparing for tomorrow. This is not just another ministry season. It's not just another serve launch. It's not just another giving emphasis. It is an invitation, an invitation to be a part of something that will echo into eternity. Years from now, children will become leaders because we built. Those babies sitting in those rooms that do not even understand why they're here, those will be the ones that stand on these platforms declaring the kingdom of God. Families will worship together, not separate, not broken, but together. Because why? Because we built. Loved ones will come home because we built. People will spend forever with Jesus because we built. So let's just not fill seats. Let's build the house. Let's not just give a little. Let's invest. Let's give faithfully and in obedience to his word. Let's not just attend the mission. Let's make it our own. Let's make it with bold declaration to love God, to build people, and to change the world together. Because the greatest days of this house, of your house, are not behind us. The best really is yet to come. If you believe that in this place, put your hands together and stand to your feet. Now, while you're standing to your feet, there are some of you in this room, pastor, I want to build, but before we can get into the building process, I need to ask you something. Have you allowed God to build something new in you? Because you can't build God's kingdom until the king rules in your life. Jesus gave everything for you. Jesus wants to build you again. He didn't hold anything back. He served, he sacrificed. He gave his life so you could have eternal life. And maybe you've been close to church, but far from Christ, because you can do that. You can be in the church, but not even feel Jesus.

Maybe you've labored in the church. Maybe you've even served in the church. Maybe you've given in the church, but have never found the life that God has for you. That place that you're looking for will only come when you respond to the stirred heart that he's stirring right now. Today can be your day. And if you're ready to surrender your life to Jesus, if you're ready to come home, and if you're ready for a fresh start, it is as simple as asking God, can I come home? Because there are some of you in this room that think that God quit on you. You think that he gave away your room and his mansion to somebody else, but he has kept the bed warm and the linens folded, because he knows one day you're coming. He didn't get rid of your place at the table. He just moved your chair back and said, sit. But while you eat, let's talk. It is that scripture that he says, I stand at the door of your heart knocking, can I come in? You thought that knocking was just a moment. No, it is God consistently coming for you because he has the desire to bring you home. So if you're in this place under the sound of my voice and you say, pastor, I need to give my heart to Jesus. There's no condemnation. There's no guilt. There is just freedom and joy and peace and rest in the Holy Spirit. God is calling you in this moment. He is stirring your heart. And when I count to three, if you're in this room and you say, pastor, I need to ask Jesus to become the Lord of my life, or maybe you did this years ago, but you went back to the world, tried it your way, realized that that way wasn't the right way. He still is ready to receive you back in this moment right now. One with no one looking around.

Two, because this is your day of salvation. This is the moment you've been praying for, the day everything gets made whole. Three, if that's you, lift your hand and say, I need Jesus to be the Lord of my life. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. I see that hand. Thank you. Anybody else? I don't want to move past this moment. I see that hand at the back. Thank you. I see that hand right now. I see that hand. Thank you. I see that hand right there. I see those hands over there. This is what this is all about. It is not about sermons preached. It's about lives transformed. How do we build again if we ignore those who God's calling to build? I see that hand. Thank you. I see that hand. Thank you. Church, all across this place, can we lift our hands and can we pray this prayer together?

Because God is about to enlarge the kingdom of heaven. He is about to enlarge territory. He is about to enlarge space because there are family members coming home today. Those who are far from him are being welcomed. There is a celebration going on in heaven right now for those that said, I'm ready to come home. So pray this prayer with me. Say this with me. Say, Jesus, today, I give you my life, I give you my heart, I give you the broken pieces of a messed up life, and today, I ask you to be the Lord of my life, to change me from the inside out. I don't want to do it my way. I need to do it yours. So today, I repent, turn from my sins, and I accept you as the Lord of my life. From this day until forever, I choose you now. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen and amen. Come on and put your hands together. Now listen, before you run out of here, I need to make this declaration. I want you to hear this before a pastor comes back next week. This is our season to build. We're going to build with our hands. We're going to build with our generosity. We're going to build with our gifts. We're going to build with our prayers, and we're going to build with our faith, because we believe the greatest days of this house are not… behind us. They're directly in front of us. And when history tells the story of this season, of these next five months, let it be said that there was a church in Texas, a church in Texas full of ordinary people who decided to build something so eternal that generations they would never meet would one day be called blessed. Can we make this declaration so all hell hears it? Because we're not a church that's going out

quiet. We're going out of church with boldness. Say this with me. Say, I believe. Come on, say it like you mean it. Say, I believe what God has spoken over my life. His Word will not return void. This year will reveal his faithfulness. This year will produce fruit. This year will be filled with miracles in his timing and by his power. Now, somebody with boldness, shout it with the top of your voice. Say, it's going to happen. God's going to do it. Come on, put your hands together if you believe that. Church, we love you.
