Are You Living the Life Jesus Made Possible? | Game Plan Week 3

Amen, amen. Who's excited to be in church this weekend? Come on. Man. Oh my goodness. Welcome to church. It's such an honor to be a part of all that Jesus has done. I don't know about you, I'm so grateful for the salvation that Jesus has given us and the church that he has given us to be a part of. Man, there's so many amazing things are happening. Hey, wherever you're joining us from, if you're live at a campus, if you're watching live or later online, God Behind Bars, Wynn Community Gatherings, I'm telling you, God is moving in a mighty way. One of the ways we got to see that was this weekend at Men's Conference. We had over 800 men join. Is that not awesome? It's amazing. It's so good. And I'm telling you, there's no way to describe to you everything that God did. But I'll tell you, I just wanna tell you two things that I know happened. We had the men come up twice during that for just for us to lay our hands on and pray for them. And one was for deliverance. And the other one was for a commissioning.

But in that one where everybody came forward for freedom, get prayed over, a lot of guys just wrestling with pornography and with lust and things. I know a lot of people wrestle with that, but it's something in me attacks men with. And I genuinely believe as I prayed for men, prayed for men, and then me and Pastor Rob were right here talking, I believe that in that moment that porn and perversion lost ground and being a protector and purity gained ground in men of God. Can we just celebrate that? I believe that's so true. And actually just something I actually got told in the lobby this last service, a guy stopped me and he said, hey, I gotta tell you something. He said, I go to another church and I just come here to visit my family sometimes. And over a year ago, I'd fallen back into pornography and I came here and you were teaching on identity. And he said, I gotta tell you, last week I got my chip from Celebrate Recovery that I've been free from pornography for over a year. So it's happening. Victory's out there. It's amazing.

It's amazing. One other thing I wanna tell you, really just ties in with what we're doing today. I love our FE students. And FE students, they come to men's conference and women's conference. And there's a group of men, our students that were here and they would lead the way in worship. They were up front. They were incredible. And a group leader was telling me this story on Saturday morning. He had a group of high schoolers stay at his house, which is a risk to take. That is one of the stinkiest phases of manhood, is high school. And he's got his high school boys at his house and they're hanging out. And after Friday night, we had a blast. And they go back to his house. They're playing video games, watching TV. And there's a guy, a young man there, didn't have a dad and he's there and they're all hanging out. And, you know, just boys in the living room. And you could tell, like, he could tell that that boy, he was sitting just in an uncomfortable spot. So he went and got him a blanket

and kind of wrapped his legs with it and set him there. And it impacted the young man, but he didn't say much. And then the leader sits on the couch. They're hanging out. And the young man looks at him and says, hey, why'd you do that? Why'd you get this for me? And he just said, well, you're in my house and, you know, I love you, care about you, want you to be comfortable. And so they keep on going about. And about five minutes later, that student wheeled around and very matter of fact, he just asked, he said, hey, is this what it's like to have a dad? It was somebody is just looking for what you need. And at men's conference, we had from 12 years old to senior saints and everywhere in between, men of God who picked up their identity and committed that they're gonna show up and committed that to Tel Aztein, the battle, the victory has already been won and they're gonna walk as victors. Just one more time, can we honor God and the men who came to men's conference and celebrate them? I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you. And so it just really works so well

with what God has, the word that he has for so many of us today. We're in a series right now where we're looking at God's game plan. And we know and we believe and we've seen in our lives that in God's game plan, old habits still win new battles. We've been pushing that in 21 days of prayer. At Saturday, at 21 days of prayer, we had over 1200 people, families joined in prayer. It was absolutely just life-changing. But we know that old habits still win new battles. I wanna put it to you this way. You have a fight coming up. Maybe it's next month, maybe it's next year, maybe it's next week. You have a fight coming up, spiritually, relationally, financially, probably all of the above. And can I tell you right now, the habits that you choose right now will predict whether you're victorious in that battle a month from now, a year from now, a week from now. The battle or the habits that you choose now are the best predictor of your victory in the future. This isn't something for today. This isn't something for a church service. This is you deciding what kind of life that you are going to live. And I wanna tell you some master's truth, something that's so near and dear to my heart.

but a truth that we really have a hard time receiving and believing, really taking advantage of as sons and daughters of God if you're a Christian. Listen, there's some things that are true about you and the reason they're true about you is because they're true about God. In Genesis 1 27, it says that we are made in the image of God. There's some things that are true about you not because of what you have done or haven't done. They're not true about you because the parents you had or the parents you didn't have. There's the foundation of who you are. There's truth about you that is true because of who God is. At Faith Promise, we say all the time that you're a winner, that you're a victor. Why do we say that? We say it because you're God's creation. We don't say it based on your actions or what you know. We say it based on God's actions and based on God's word. Again, in God's word, just a couple things. These are some verses that I memorize that I say over my family. Genesis 1 27 says you're made in God's image, right? Psalm 139 said you were put together piece by piece while you were still inside of your mom that God knows the plan and the purpose that he has for you.

Ephesians 2 10 is so clear. He says you are God's masterpiece made on purpose with a purpose to do the good works that he's laid out before you. Romans 8 37 says that you are more than a conquer, not just a conquer. You're not just a winner. You are more than that. The reason that all those things are true about you is because they are true about God. So this is not a day where you're like, I wonder if they're true about me. They're a day I'm telling you, since they're true about God, they are true about you. The question is, are you living in what God has made possible? Jesus wanted us to live this life so badly that Jesus did the impossible to make that life possible. Jesus lived the life that we could not. Jesus did the things that we could not. He died the death that we deserve, that we earned with our sin. Romans 3 23, all have sinned. I've sinned, you've sinned, and we've fallen short of the glory, the perfection of God. But Jesus came and paid the price, did the impossible so he could show us what is possible. Jesus came to show us what's possible, that we can live as winners,

that we can live in freedom, that you really can. You can have joy. You can have peace. You don't have to live under the tyranny of the urgent or the pressure of what other people think. There's a freedom for you. There's a love for you. There's a care for you that might feel impossible, but Jesus has made it possible. See, Jesus lived a game plan where he did the impossible to make a true life possible for you. I really wanna ask us today, are we living the life that Jesus has made possible? Before we talk about what's possible, it's so important to understand the impossible things that Jesus did for us. Jesus did some impossible things. Jesus came from heaven to earth. Did anybody come from heaven to earth today? I didn't think so. Jesus came from heaven to earth. All of his majesty, his glory, he put inside of a baby. That's impossible for anybody else but Jesus. Jesus lived a perfect life. I know you think you're great, but some of you guys sinned so much on the way to church today in traffic, right? Y'all wouldn't even put Faithful and Stickers on your car. You're such a sinner in your car, right?

Jesus lived a perfect life. Impossible for everybody else, not impossible for Jesus. Jesus died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sin. That was impossible for us, but through Jesus, it was possible. Then, I mean, again, all these things are impossible for us, but just the most special thing that Jesus did is after Jesus died, he rose from the grave. Impossible, no one else has ever done that. You know, no other deity figure will even claim it. Muhammad didn't claim it of Islam. What's his name? John Smith, I always think, it's Joseph Smith. John Smith's Pocahontas. Joseph Smith is the Mormon. Sorry, I get him confused, right? Guys, that sounded like I did it on purpose. I didn't, okay, I promise, right? But hey, none of them can make that claim. None of them even, nobody even says they're gonna make that claim, only Jesus. That's why you find Jesus in all their books, because they want to get close to what only God can do. No one else would claim what only God can do. Jesus made, Jesus did the impossible so that he could make a life for us possible, not just someday in eternity, but every day as we walk and win with Jesus. That's what he did. Jesus did the impossible so that we can live a life

that's just, it's beyond what we can imagine. but it's possible. To put it, to let you see it in scripture, in Matthew chapter 19, verses 25 and 26, Jesus is talking to his disciples about salvation. And it says, when the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished. And they asked, who then can be saved? And Jesus looked at them and said, with man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. There are some things that they're impossible without you. There's some things in your life right now that feel impossible. But I'm telling you, if you will lean in and receive the gift of Jesus today, there's a possibility in your life like you could not imagine. Jesus came to do the impossible, to get the impossible of giving us the gift of salvation so that we can live a life of possibility, a life of winning with Jesus here and now every day. That's the life that he has to give you. So what that means, if Jesus is our example, he's not just the God that we worship, but he is the model for our life. And Jesus did, he modeled some things for us I want us to see today. I wanna show you three things that aren't just possible, but they're paid for.

So I think there's so much power with that. These things aren't just possible, they're paid for. Like, I love giving my kids and my wife gifts, but if I were to get them a gift for like Christmas, and they just left it under the tree, I'd feel a little bummed, I'd feel a little dishonored. I wanted to give you that, I paid for that. And so what I want you to see is these things aren't just possible, they're paid for as a gift from Jesus to you. I wanna show you three things. And listen, these are three things that we are all after. There's adoption, that you're chosen, not rejected. There's affection, that you are loved, not overlooked. There's affirmation, that you are seen, not dismissed. And you can see our world looking for these things in all the wrong places. But we were designed to receive these things from God, and until we get them from God, we will never actually receive them. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, you were designed to receive these things from God. I wanna take a moment and look at just one, just singular event in Jesus' life, where we see these three things highlighted and clarified so well. It's actually at Jesus' baptism. I wanna show it to you right here on the center screen so that we can all see it together. This is Matthew chapter three, verses 16 and 17.

And it says, as soon as Jesus was baptized, so people are gonna get baptized today, Jesus was baptized as well. It says, as soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water, and at that moment, heaven was opened and he saw the Spirit of God. We're also gonna talk about the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, descending like a dove and alighting on him, and a voice from heaven. This is what God says. When Jesus was baptized, here's what God says out loud for all of us to hear. This is my son, adoption. Now listen, Jesus didn't need to be adopted, we do. Jesus didn't need to be adopted, but I'm gonna tell you in a second, Jesus did this to stand in our place. So he want us to see adoption is available. Whom I love, affection. He loves you. Listen, this happened before Jesus ever did any miracles. Jesus hadn't preached any sermons, and God says, I love him. Why does he love him? Because he's his son. He doesn't love him because he does stuff, he loves him because he's his son. In whom I am well pleased, affirmation. Why is he affirmed? He's affirmed because he loves him. Why does he love him?

It's because he's his son. We have this backwards, and we think, if I can have God or somebody affirm me, then somebody might give me some love, and then I might be a part of a family. See, the world always tries to twist God's words upside down, but God wants to set us free today. God wants us to know that we're in his family today. Listen, in this moment, I want us to learn something about Jesus. Maybe you know that Jesus was baptized, and that God said this. Maybe this is brand new information for you. Here's what's so special, is the people who are getting baptized in this season of history, they were getting baptized because they needed forgiveness of their sins. Well, Jesus didn't have sins. So why was Jesus baptized? I mean, he was perfect, right? Jesus did it because Jesus came and stood where the sinners were standing. In the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptized, there were sinners there that needed to be baptized. Jesus came and stood where the sinners were standing. And three years after his baptism, he stood nailed to a cross on Golgotha, the place of the skull, and stood where me, a sinner, deserved to be.

But Jesus made the impossible possible. possible possible by standing where sinners stood even though he wasn't a sinner. Something else, that's powerful in and of itself right there that Jesus stood where you deserve to stand because when we stood there as sinners, it was impossible for us to pay the price, but Jesus, it became possible. Something else I want you to notice is on this, when you see these things that God's over Jesus, Jesus knew these things. Jesus wasn't confused by sin and blowing it and stuff like that. He wasn't confused about stuff like we are. So Jesus knew that he was God's son. He knew that God loved him. He knew that God was pleased with him. So why did this happen? It happened for us. It happened for us. It happened so that we would know, we could hear, it could be recorded in history, that listen, we can be his sons and daughters, that we are loved, that he is pleased with us if we'll receive it. So I just want to take our next few minutes, I want to ask you five questions. And I just need you to see where you're at in these questions. The first one is this, have you been adopted by God?

Have you been adopted by God? It says not just right there do we see this is my son, but a little later in Romans chapter eight, verse 15, it says that when you become a Christian, you are adopted into God's family. You don't have to be a scared slave. You can be a saved son or daughter. Some of us interact with God like an employee that might get let go if we make another mistake or we're trying to earn our way off of a corrective action plan. But that's not what God's word says. He says you're a son, you're a daughter, that he has a seat pulled up at his table. He wants to eat with you. He wants to walk with you. Do you have a relationship with your heavenly father? Do you know that he loves you? Do you know, do you talk to him? Do you walk with him? Listen, it may feel impossible, but because of what Jesus did, it is possible. Do you know your heavenly father? Do you know you've been adopted? The second question is, have you received your father's affection? Have you received your father's affection? Do you feel, do you think that you have to earn his attention, you have to earn his affection, but that's just not what his word says.

Ephesians 2, 8, 9 says that salvation is a gift. That actually nobody can earn it. Nobody can work their way there. Are you trying to be good enough? That's impossible. Jesus already paid that price to make possible receiving the affection of the father. And listen, no matter how big and bad you are, and you may think you are, no matter how jaded and frustrated you might be about things of life, you need the affection of the father. And you will be anxious and you will be depressed and you will feel incomplete. And so you have the affection of the father. I have another question I want you to consider. Have you received your father's affirmation? One of my favorite things to do, not in ministry, in life, is disciple men. And something that my heavenly father's done for me and my earthly father's done for me is told me how proud they are of me. As I walk with men, I put my hand on their shoulder and I'll pray for them. And I'll say, hey, I'm proud of you. And God's proud of you. It's almost like you can feel it in their physical bodies. They're fighting to try to believe it. Listen, God loves you. He's pleased with you. Before Jesus ever did a miracle,

God said, I'm pleased with you. Listen, but when we try to get it from other people, that's why it feels like people are letting us down so much. That's maybe why you feel like you're letting people down so much. No one can provide in the natural something you were designed to receive in the supernatural. We all were designed to receive affection and affirmation, but primarily, first and most, we're supposed to receive it from God. So as you consider your adoption, your affection and your affirmation, can I ask the fourth question? Do you truly know your heavenly father? I'm not talking about, do you come to church? I'm not talking about, did your mom or dad know the Lord? I'm asking you, do you have a relationship with Jesus? Do you know your heavenly father? Not religion, but a relationship. Do you have that? Are you walking in that? Have you received the adoption where you know that no matter what, like you're a part of his family and that he loves you, that you have the fatherly affection and the affirmation that he's proud, do you have that? If not, it's available for you. And you may feel like, gosh, you don't know what I've done. You don't know what I've said. You don't know what I did. You don't know what's been done to me.

I'm broken, I'm dirty, I'm. Can I just tell you what God's Word says? In God's Word, it says in Romans chapter 10, verse nine, it says, if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, did the impossible, you will be, it doesn't say you might be saved, it doesn't say you could be saved. Can I tell you something I know about God's Word as I've studied it, as I've given my life to it? There's only one prayer that we know gets answered every time, and it's this one. I've prayed for healing a bunch of times and haven't seen it. I've prayed for relational restoration a bunch of times and haven't seen it. This prayer, hey, I know this may be hard for you. I know maybe you've gone through some challenging things. This prayer gets answered every time. Your heavenly Father wants you, your heavenly Father loves you, your heavenly Father is pleased with you, will you receive it? What we're gonna do right now is we're gonna do exactly what this verse says. We're gonna declare with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, that we believe that he died and rose from the dead for our sins, and if you wanna do that, you will be saved. Not by my Word, but by God's Word, not by power, not by my, but by my Spirit,

says the Lord, Zechariah 4, 6. If you're ready to start a relationship with Jesus, we're gonna pray our prayer all together as a family. We don't pray alone, nobody prays alone here at Faith Promise. So we're gonna pray this prayer out loud all together. Will you bow your head, close your eyes with me. If you're ready to receive a relationship with Jesus, right here, right now is the time. Let's pray out loud, boldly, say Jesus, I know I've sinned, but I know you came to pay for my sin because you love me and you want me. You did the impossible to make this relationship possible. I believe in my heart and I confess with my mouth that you are my Savior. With head still bowed, eyes still closed, nobody look, just zoning on my voice, just you and the Lord right now. Here in a second, if you prayed that prayer, I'm gonna ask you to raise your hand. Just shoot your hand up here, just say, I'm gonna count to three, we're gonna do it. And this is the best decision you've ever made. Well, something's gonna wanna keep your hand down, something's fighting you right now, and I know you have questions, and listen, we're gonna walk through those questions together, but first, first and foremost, let's make a decision to make Jesus your Savior. If that's you, on the count of three,

I want you to shoot your hand up. This is the reason God brought you here. This is what's going on in your life. You know it. He's brought you here for such a time as this. If you start a relationship with Jesus today, on the count of three, I want you to shoot your hand up. One, two, three, go ahead and shoot them up. Come on, shoot them up. Awesome, awesome, hands up, hands all over. Just give us a second. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord. We got, we got, this is gonna take just a second. Awesome, thank you, Jesus. Give us just a second. You don't want it there, Ken. Just one second, praise God. Awesome, awesome. What a day, what a day it's been in God's house. Praise the Lord. Just one more second. Our guys are getting their steps in. Faith promise, can we celebrate with the people who gave their lives to Christ today? Come on, come on, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, come on, come on, come on. Amen, amen, amen, amen. Amen. Hey, if you gave your life to Christ, you raised your hand, maybe you didn't raise your hand.

I want you to text save to the number on the screen and we'll give you some next steps to take. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, this is what you were made for. I have one more question. I said I have five questions, this is my last question. Do you need to be baptized? We've talked about your adoption, your affection, your affirmation, your relationship. Now, do you need to be baptized? You may wonder, do I need to be baptized? Let me help you understand. Hey, if you gave your life to Christ today, with your hands all over the place, you need to get baptized today. Hey, if you've given your life to Christ and you've never been baptized, there's at least, probably more, there's at least 130 people that we know of that have given their life to Christ at Faith Promise last year that haven't been baptized. Today is the day you need to get baptized. Hey, if you were baptized when you were little, you didn't know what you were doing, you're doing it at DBS to get a sticker or whatever, and you gave your life to Christ later, you need to be baptized. We see every single baptism in Scripture is done after somebody makes a confession of salvation and they're baptized by submersion.

That's just, that's how Jesus was baptized. It's a great thing to do is to do it how Jesus did it. Here's what I wanna do. I want you to help us see it. So we're gonna go, we're gonna do a baptism together. You stay right there, I'll be right back with you. What we're gonna do is we're gonna baptize somebody right here, right now. Just walk through what it means. Walk through the power of it. Walk through what God has for this moment. Jesus did it, he's called us to do it. And so you guys celebrate, Alan, right? Is that, Alan, somebody, Alan, real quick. Come on now. Awesome, awesome. Andy was telling me about you in the lobby man how exciting this is. I'm so stinking proud of you. So hey, Alan's gonna get baptized. Here's what's happening is Alan has made a decision to follow Jesus. Now let me stop and backtrack a little bit. When Jesus got baptized it was a foreshadowing of what he was going to do. Jesus would die and raise again. Alan has made a decision to follow Christ. To die to his old self and rise up as a follower of Christ. That's what this is. This is not getting wet. This is not some religious sacrament. This is him making a bold declaration to himself, to God, and to you that he is a new creation. That this is who he is. And so when Alan comes up out of this water he has made a public declaration and decision that he is going to take the gospel everywhere he goes. That that's who you are. Hey man I'm so proud of you and I know you've made mistakes and I know that there's something inside that says hey this is this is this is this isn't real. Because what Jesus did feels impossible. But he did it so you can live a life like you did in the

Mac. You're loved. You're cared for. God's giving you spiritual gifts and you're gonna go on in your life and the family you're creating is never gonna be the same. You're gonna break generational curses that you've walked in. Those are not going to be your future. Because you're right now the old is gone and the new is coming. And because that's true it is my greatest honor to baptize you my friend in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. I'm proud of you, buddy. I'm proud of you. Amen. That's it. That's what it is. My pants are very wet. Allen really got after it. Hey, is the Lord calling you to move? You have you have plenty of information. You have plenty of information. My question is you are you tired of disinformation? Are you ready for transformation? Are you ready to move? Why would we negotiate on something that Jesus was so clear to be obedient about? There's no argument. There's no pushback that it's clear that once you're saved you should be baptized. So I asked you today, are you ready to be sent? Because after you're saved you are sent. Some of us are having a hard time being obedient and walking and doing some rudimentary things as Christ followers because you haven't done the first thing and taking a public declaration. You're having a hard time living your faith in public because you didn't take the first public step of salvation. If you get our story of baptism, you gave your life to Christ today. If you give your life to Christ, you haven't been baptized. You know that God's calling you right now. On the count of three, here in a moment on the count of three, we're gonna stand up. We're gonna cheer. There's people at every campus out back that would they are out at the back of the room that want to process with you. I know you still have questions, but hey do not be have paralysis by over analysis. Obey the next step. Don't think about ten steps. Obey the one in front of you. So on the count of three, we're all gonna stand and celebrate. If you need to get baptized, you're gonna walk out of the back of the room. We're gonna be there for you. We have clothes, ladies. We have everything you need. Everything you need. Okay. No need to get into details. It's back there. All right. Hey, today's the day. It's

the new day for you to walk in all that God has for you. And we're gonna celebrate you as a church. So faith promise on the count of three, we're all gonna stand. If you be baptized, you're gonna head out the back. Are you ready? One, two, three. Stand up. Head out the back. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Faith promise. Let's praise. Come on. So good. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Head out the back. Come on. Come on. Go. Go. Go. Go. Don't wait. Don't wait. Don't wait. Come on. Come on. Please. Please. All right. You can stay standing just for a second. Just for a second. Hey, if you need to go, we're just gonna stand for just a minute. We'll let you get out. If you need to grab somebody, take them with you. Come on. Don't let anything hold you back. God's got so much for you. Please. Please. There's just so much that God has for you. We want it for you. We want to walk with you. So head out there if it's time for you to take a public declaration of faith. And so we're gonna we're gonna finish up our last couple minutes in here together. I just want to give you another chance. We love you. We're proud of you. You guys can have a seat. Gosh, please. Please. You need to get baptized. Today is a perfect day. Hey, we took a lot of time on salvation and baptism, as we should, but really quickly, I want to give you our habit for today in God's game plan. and we've been talking about habits. Our habit for today is the fact that we take winning people to Jesus personally. What, listen, what Jesus gives us personally, he sends us to carry publicly. Listen, I don't know that there's a habit more near and dear to God's heart than we go and win other people to Jesus. If you're a Christ follower, the most important thing about you is that you've been saved by God. I don't know about you, I played sports growing up, and if there was somebody on my team, that didn't care about winning, I was gonna have a problem with that person, right? If they didn't take it personally,

it's just, I don't know, it just meant so much to me. Sports don't really matter, but listen, how personally do you think that Jesus takes it that we tell people about him and about his salvation? You know, on the scoreboard of eternity, think about game plan, on the scoreboard of eternity, there's only two numbers. There's just the people going to heaven and just the people going to hell, that's it. In Acts chapter one, Jesus said, don't worry about the time, he took the time off. He said, I've separated your sin as far as the east is from the west. It's not about your sin, it's not about the fowls. It's about heaven, it's about hell. Listen, it's so true, even in Jesus' life. After Jesus was baptized, like what we'll see people do today, after he was baptized, the next verse, it says in Matthew four, verse one, then Jesus was led by the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. When you start winning people to Jesus, you're gonna be tempted. The devil's gonna, or the devil, the enemy's gonna come after you, but you've been given the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit to help you live a winning life, a winning game plan. And some of you may feel like, gosh,

I don't know that I'm spiritual enough to be led by the Holy Spirit and to hear his voice. Like, I don't know, let me make it really simple for you. Make it really simple. Listen, the Holy Spirit likes to go fishing. I know this sounds crazy. It may sound like a hard term. In Matthew four, that same chapter after Jesus was sent, it says in Matthew four, 19, Jesus says, if you follow me, I will make you fishers of men. Have you ever met somebody that likes fishing? All they wanna do is go fishing. When I get home from work, this is usually what's waiting on me in the driveway. My son just turned six. All he wants to do is go fishing. I wanna go fishing, Dad. Can we go fishing, Dad? It's raining. I wanna go fishing, Dad. I wanna go fishing, Dad. Can I tell you something about the Holy Spirit that you don't have to be spiritual to understand? He wants to go fishing. He wants to go fishing. You don't have to wonder what God wants. God wants to go after his kids that are far from him, just like any dad would. Actually, the last thing that Jesus told us

before he went to heaven, he says in Acts 1a, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you'll be my witnesses to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Listen, we need to take winning people to Jesus personally. It's the reason that we've been given the Holy Spirit, to live a life in power, to live a life as a witness. And listen, you can make all the money, you can have all the followers, and there's still gonna be something missing because you were designed to have a relationship with Jesus and to lead other people to do the same. And again, I apologize. I took a lot of time on salvation and baptism today, and there were some questions we were gonna pray through, and it's gonna be a powerful moment. So we're gonna put those on social media and on the app and stuff. And if you would, on Monday, I don't know if you know this, you are allowed to pray without me, okay? So if you would, tomorrow during your quiet time, would you find those three questions? We just pray through them. We just ask for just the Lord to open your eyes and show you what he has for you. or we apologize for being distracted and not seeing people, first of all, primarily as your sons and daughters. We do, God, we repent. We ask you to help us. Give us a burden. Give us opportunity. Give us boldness. Send us out to win people to Jesus. Let's take it personally. As we watch people get baptized today, let us impact it at a deeper level than it's ever impacted us. God, we love you.
