Anyone Can Be A World Changer // Go Change Your World Week 3

Amen, amen, thank you, you may be seated. It is a big privilege and an honor to call Pastor Dan McCarthy my pastor. I'm gonna cry, Dan knows I cry. But I don't know how many years ago it was where Pastor Dan just became a youth pastor here and he won a lottery, not that he gambles or does the lottery, but at youth convention we picked his name I think it was and he won an all expense paid trip to a youth pastor's conference and he got to go with me, of all people. And so we flew down to Dallas together, we thought we were gonna get a nice Mercedes S-Class and they gave us a brown Fiat for the week. And we tried barbecue and we did drive by the stadium for him to just pay homage to his team. But honestly, all those years have passed and although he's grown a little bit in the sense of gotten a little grayer, the heart of this man for people and for Jesus has not changed. And it's an honor to call you pastor, you and Kyla. You watched the video, I can't talk much about it, but I was there, I was there two and a half years ago walking the streets with the young man that was sharing and we prayed over that city. It's probably one of the most impressioned, or one of the most impressioned moments. People ask me, what trip have you taken

that has messed you up the most? And that city has been tattooed in my soul because of just the lostness in there. But in the lostness, there is light. And I don't know if you caught it, but there's a coffee shop that they opened up because they can't preach the gospel. There's thousands and thousands of temples, but there are no churches in that city. But there are coffee shops where the gospel is preached. And it's called Heart Cafe, if you wanna pray for it, I can say that at least. But they're seeing, they planted themselves smack in the middle of the university where there's 23, 24,000 people. But it's just amazing to see that. And thank you, because of your World Changers offering, you guys support that work. And that's amazing to see what God's doing. And my prayer is sometime when Jeremy's in the States, we'll bring him here to speak, Pastor. But he's just a phenomenal, phenomenal individual. So just wanted to share that with you. This morning, I've been given the opportunity to talk to you about being a World Changer. And anybody can be a World Changer. First of all, before I go, shout out to Life Groups. Anybody? Come on. If you're not in a Life Group, you got a problem.

I'm just telling you right off the bat. Life Groups are amazing. It's actually my wife and I's connection to the church. I'm gone usually every Sunday speaking at a different church but we love our young, married, rooted, where am I getting, I saw a couple of you guys, come on, a little shout out. Love my group, they do a great job. And so anyways, I'm a part of this church because of Life Groups. And so I'll encourage you to be a part of Life Groups. Pastor Kerry's gonna pay me a little bit for saying that a little later. But anyways, Pastor Dan mentioned earlier this year that Calvary Church Delran gave $631,830 for World Changers. That's amazing. Come on, give yourselves a round of applause for that. Can I tell you, every penny of it has been spent. Which means we need to raise more money. Well, you're saying, what are you talking about? Because there's more people that need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. And until Jesus comes back, we have to keep sharing the gospel. No one without Jesus. What a wonderful tagline, what a, it's not a tagline, it's a mission. It's a mission. If I've experienced Jesus, then that should be my heart cry.

No one without Jesus. In many parts of the world today, there are people who still have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ even once. I remember one missionary sharing years ago the story of preaching in a remote village for the very first time. And when he had finished preaching the gospel, this older gentleman, the village captain, the village chief, came up to him with tears in his eyes and said these words. If this message is so important, why did it take so long for someone to come tell us? And the question still echoes today, years later. And why does it echo? It's because there's truth to the gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ is plain and simple. We need a savior. We need someone who can live a life for us. And he's lived that life for us. He died on the cross, rose again, he's coming back. There's hope in that. Not just for the afterlife, but the present life. Because we need the hope of Christ, amen? So the gospel is powerful. The gospel changes lives. But someone has to bring that gospel to the ends of the earth. And God's plan has always been to use ordinary people. That's what I love about it.

If I were God, which I'm not, somebody say thank God he's not God. Because number one, the Giants would win the Super Bowl every year. All right, I got it, it's two giant stands. But secondly, I would save Bill Gates, I would save all of the richest people in the world and say, guess what, we don't have to take any world changer offerings anymore. Because all these guys are gonna give the money. But I'm not God, and God has never really operated that way. As a matter of fact, the birth of our savior came through a workman carpenter and a teenage girl in a manger. How ordinary is that? God uses the ordinary to do what he needs to do. And so we read this story in the book of First Kings, chapter 17, it says this. Says, then the Lord said to Elijah, go live in the village of Zarephath near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you. So he went to Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks and he asked her, would you please bring me a little water and a cup? And she was going to get it. He called her, hey, bring me a bite of bread too. But she said, I swear by the Lord your God that I don't have a single piece of bread in the house

and I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal and then my son and I will die. But Elijah said to her, don't be afraid, go ahead and do just what you have said but make little bread for me first. Then use what's left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says, there will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again. So she did as Elijah said and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days. There was always enough flour and enough olive oil left in the containers just as the Lord had promised through the prophet Elijah. Let me give you a little backdrop of what's taking place here. Israel has disobeyed God and because Israel has disobeyed God, he has allowed Israel to deal with the consequences. First, let me tell you this, that we serve a God whose love but we also serve a God who doesn't force us to love him. And when we don't have relationship with him, there are consequences that take place in our lives. As Pastor Dan said, when we don't put Jesus first, things take place in our lives

and that's exactly what happened in Israel's being here. You wanna go that route, Israel, here you go. I'm gonna give you one of the most wicked kings you ever had and the name of the king was King Ahab, but more wicked than Ahab was his wife Jezebel. And the two of them brought torment upon the entire region of Israel, causing God to say, I can't bless this anymore. And because he couldn't bless this anymore, there was a great famine that took place. Now, God always has a remnant. Where there is problems like that, God always sends hope. Come on, somebody say amen to that. So he sends his prophet Elijah and Elijah's coming to bring hope and he's coming to bring the word of God to a dry season and a dry place. And so, because there's a famine, God tells Elijah to go up to the mount and the brook Kidron would feed him some water and the ravens, actually birds, came and fed him every day for some time. Now, once the brook dried up, how many know when the brook dries up, the birds go away, right? So God says to him, hey, I want you to go to Zarephath and this is where we pick up this particular story. You see, couple of points. I have four points for you if you're taking notes. Number one, world changers recognize divine opportunities.

World changers recognize divine opportunities. In 1 Kings 17, eight through nine, says then the word of the Lord came to him, go once to Zarephath, I have directed a widow there to supply you with food. God chose the most unlikely person. I said that earlier. I would have chosen somebody with a lot more resources. I would have chosen somebody who could basically write a check and take care of everything, but that's not how God operates. God chose an unlikely person. He didn't choose a king. He did not choose a wealthy merchant, nor did he choose a religious leader, but he chose a widow. Now, before we understand the widow situation, we have to kind of take a little pause here, kind of backtrack and follow with me, talk about the prophet for a moment. The prophet of Elijah was called to bring the word of God to the people of Israel. Now, there is what we call a prophet who has a prophetic voice who says, I'm going to prophesy about your future, and that's one thing, but then you have the prophetic voice. Now, beware of those that can prophesy into your future because a lot of them can't prophesy into your future. Only God can prophesy into your future, and he uses individuals, holy men and women of God

to do that, but the office of the prophet is plain and simple. The office of the prophet is to proclaim the word of God to the people. So, every Sunday from this pulpit here at Calvary, Pastor Dan and whoever's preaching the word of God takes on the office of prophet. Now, please do not call him Prophet Dan, okay? The only one who will be able to do that will be Kyla, but Prophet. Dan, we will not call him Prophet Dan, we will call him Pastor Dan, okay? But do you understand the situation? So a prophet is anyone who brings the word of God. My friend who's opening up that coffee shop in that particular city is the prophet, he's the voice of God to a people that are lost. Everybody catch me so far with what I'm saying? You share your words, you share Jesus' words with a lost friend, you're taking on the office of prophet, bringing the word of God to your friends, okay? So here are some prophets that we kind of support, not in the sense of prophets, but there are missionaries. Sonia Alanya, who's in Valencia, Spain, just had the opportunity, my wife and I just got back about a month ago from Spain, we visited four different missionaries. I'm just gonna highlight what Sonia's doing over there. Sonia, who has a background in social work, felt the call of God to be a missionary.

She went over there and realized that within the country of Spain, not just within the assemblies of God, but evangelical churches as a whole do not minister to people with special needs. She calls me, she goes, do you think I should start a special need ministry? And I go, Sonia, you tell me, what do you think? She goes, yes, I'm gonna start a special need ministry. And she started praying about it. We had the opportunity of going and seeing the facility that she's using. They have a sensory room for those individuals with autism that they could hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. She started in January. She has seven individuals that she's ministering to because Calvary Church finances and helps change the world through Sonia, who is the prophet. You guys with me so far? Okay, you should, the first crowd applauded at that. You should applaud at that. Thank you. Go on, sit. All right, just get excited. Get excited. Secondly, RUH, RUH Kai Alpha. Anybody know what Kai Alpha is? Kai Alpha is a ministry to our college and universities. About a week ago, I received a check.

All it said was Fabian Kalapuch on the front of it. And I opened it, and it's $10,000. I'm like, yeah. Then I realized it's like Kai Alpha. I'm like, okay, no worries. No, that's good, that's good. But it was from Calvary Church. You guys, through World Changers, gave $10,000 to our university people. And let me just share that. Oh yeah, come on, there you go. Good, good, good. One in particular, Anthony and Rosie Lubruno, they're at Rutgers University, one of the biggest universities, the birthplace of college football, one of the biggest universities in the Northeast. Last year, Anthony was preaching the gospel in his small group, and a individual from one of the more influential fraternities came to that Bible study, gave his heart to Jesus. I wish I had the video of him getting baptized in a baby pool in front of the frat house with all his buddies saying, hey, thank God, he got saved. Four of those guys, come on, four of those guys are now part of that Bible study. Thank you, Calvary, for giving to World Changers, because God is using you, amen? So let's go back to the widow here, right? In that particular culture, widows were among

the poorest and most vulnerable people in society. Yet God chose this widow to sustain his prophet, why? Because God often advances his mission through ordinary people willing to participate. Beth Grant said it best. Who is Beth Grant? Beth Grant and her husband, David, founded a ministry called Project Rescue. Project Rescue is another ministry that this church supports. And what Project Rescue does, it goes into the brothels of India where women are selling their bodies to make money because they're slaves in sex trafficking. But not only are they slaves, but they're children that are born to them that live underneath the bed while mom is performing the service that she needs to do. They need people who can rescue them out of there because it's a deep pit. And David and Beth Grant felt in their heart that they were going to do this, and through the help and the finances of churches like you, they go into these brothels and they rescue these girls. Not only do they rescue these girls, but they teach them a trade where they can make jewelry and clothing so they no longer have to live a life of prostitution. That's who Beth Grant is, all right?

So you hear me? How many think Beth Grant would be a superstar? She's a superstar in my book, right? This is what Beth Grant says. She goes, God is not looking for superstars. He's just looking for servants. That's all he's looking. He's looking for somebody who's gonna say, here am I, send me. Here am I, use what you can from me. You see, God usually advances his mission through ordinary people willing to participate. The second point that I give you today, world changers trust God when resources are limited. We read in verse 12. Man, we're living in a day, first of all, before we go there, we're living in a day that the economy ain't getting any better. Come on, how many know Costco's still the best place to get gas? Amen, I love Costco. Anybody in the house love Costco? Come on. My wife says to me, she goes, we can't go to, she only allows me to go to Costco once a month. And it's gotta be between 10 and two in the afternoon because that's where the samples are, right? Okay, but anyways, we're living in a day and age where there's not severe famine, but we're dealing with an economy

that our pocketbooks are getting hit. So what are you preaching about giving? Hey, nothing's changed. God used the woman who had no money, she had no resources to do amazing things. This widow was living during one of the most severe famines. Her pantry contained one final meal. She was preparing to eat it and she was gonna die. And yet, God asked her to trust him with what little she had. Guess what? God doesn't change. God is trusting you with what little you have to put into his hand so he can begin to do something across the world. I'm not preaching a manipulative message. I'm just preaching what I believe God has done. It's been my life throughout. Missions is so ingrained within our lives, right? Philippians 419, Paul says this, and this same God who takes care of me will supply all of your needs for his glorious riches which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. You see, this teaches a powerful mission's truth. You don't need abundance to impact the world. You need obedience. Obedience impacts the world, not abundance. Because if it was abundance, we'd be saving millionaires left and right.

We're saving people who need Jesus because it's the people who need Jesus, know that they need Jesus, are the ones that are gonna give to the others that need Jesus. Are you with me so far? Dick Brogdon said it best. Dick Brogdon started a ministry called Live Dead where basically missionaries give up their life expecting never to come back. They go into some of the hardest reached places in the world where there's danger and it's a very sensitive country, but he says, sensitive countries. He said this, the gospel is only good news if it gets there in time. The gospel is only good news if it gets there in time. And sometimes the only way it gets there in time is because someone chooses to give sacrificially. You see, I love this. Pastor Dave Goldschmidt will be here in a couple weeks. I know you mentioned that earlier and you guys are gonna be presenting him with a check for the church and the coffee house there in Scotland. But oh, I remember this young guy when he was about 19, 18, 19 years old. First gave his heart to Jesus, worked as a manager at McDonald's and he's at an altar at one of the Speed of Light rallies.

Speed of Light is the missions ministry for the youth where we raise money to purchase vehicles for our missionaries. And I remember him being at an altar and I'm looking at him, he's crying and he just hands me a wad of 20s. He goes, hey, here's my check from McDonald's. I believe Jesus told me to give it all in the offering. I said, David, are you sure? He goes, yes, man, I believe God told me to give this. Fast forward a couple years, he becomes the youth pastor of the church and 20 years ago this past month, they said goodbye to that church because God was calling them to Scotland to plant the church, one of the hardest cities in the world. You say, Scotland hard? Yes, very secular. There's no God in any of the churches that are there. The churches are closing down and they're becoming nightclubs and rock climbing places. That's what those churches are becoming. But not in Edinburgh. Thank God in Edinburgh, somebody like David Goldschmidt who I asked him, I said, David, why are you going? He said, Faith, that night that I put the 20s in the offering, I knew that it was more than just the 20s. It was my entire life and so I'm pledging to give my entire life for the gospel of Jesus Christ. And so you're gonna get to meet David

in just a few weeks here. Faith doesn't give from excess. That doesn't, if I have to sit and look at my bank account and calculate how much I'm gonna give, that's not faith. It's good finance. It's good planning. But faith, faith gives from trust. Which means, God, if you're telling me to do this, I know you're gonna provide. And more than that, God, you've gotta be the one speaking. Not the pepperoni pizza from the night before. You've gotta be speaking, God. So not only do we see that, but world changers, number three, world changers obey even when it requires sacrifice. First Kings 7.13. He says, first make a small loaf of bread for me. This is interesting, right? Because the prophet first says to her, hey, can you get me a cup of water? And if you notice the passage, she says, oh, no problem. She starts walking to get the cup of water. Because the cup of water's not a problem. You see an offering, a few bucks in the offering, that's not a problem. Maybe even a tithe isn't much of an offering. But you're asking me to give to world changers? There's a little bit of a problem here. And I look at this conversation and it kinda reminds me, I honestly believe that the widow was Spanish.

I'm not being racist. I was raised by an Argentinian mother and raised by a pair of Argentinian fathers, so I know Spanish, I know Spanish real well. Dios le bendiga, gloria a Dios, santo benito sea tu nombre, empanadas. I could keep going on talking about everything you want. And I could have a conversation with you, okay? I knew Spanish before I knew English. I know I look as white as a ghost, but I knew Spanish before I knew English. And growing up, growing up, I heard my American friends, when they would get in trouble, their parents would give them one word. You're going to time out. No, thank you, we're my Spanish people. We don't get time out. We get what you call the chancla. Oh, come on, every head bowed and every eye closed. I've tried to get the Brazilian name for it, Edson was helping me, but I don't even remember. But what a chancla is, a chancla is a flip-flop with a heel about that big. And not only was it used for the beach, and not only was it used for her when she dressed really nice, it was used as a weapon formed against me. And I remember my last time that I got hit with a chancla, I was about 13 years old. I didn't have much between the ears as a 13-year-old,

God bless our 13-year-olds, but you know how our 13-year-olds are, ah, right, kind of thing. So I did this stupid thing. Okay, before there was streaming, and before there was any kind of Netflix and anything, you had to watch TV, okay? And you had to change the channels, okay? And my sister was into this stupid soap opera called General Hospital, okay? Oh, come on, revival's hitting now, right? It was right around the time Luke and Laura were getting married, okay? And it's 2.55 on a Friday night, or Friday afternoon. And you know that once that show's over, you don't know what's happening until Monday at three o'clock again. And she's watching, she's in suspense, oh, Laura's got her dress on, whatever. I walk in like a stupid idiot, change the channel to Bugs Bunny. Man, I never experienced a demonic-possessed person until that moment. My sister goes, what are you doing? She grabbed me by the hair, she stood up. I didn't stand up, but my hair stood up. That little bald spot right there, that's thanks to my sister. I got scalped right there in my own living room. But the crazy thing is that the demonic-possessed person,

when my mother walked in, got raptured because she was nowhere to be found. And my mother walks in with her accent, what's going on, what's going on in here? What is going on? And she looks at me, she goes, you're gonna get it. You're gonna get it. And again, she wobbled, God bless her, she passed away this year. But she would wobble because she had an injury. And she's trying to get me as best she could. So I figured, let me go run up the stairs. Because if I run up the stairs, she can't run up the stairs. So I said, I'm running up the stairs, and I see this thing just go flying right by me. And then I, again, remember, not much between the ears. I turn around to do one of these. And as I turn around, boom! I fall back, I'm out, not in the spirit, but out by the chancla. And I wake up with stars circling and my mother looking at me. And I have two, and I will use them. So what are you saying, why? Because think about it for a moment. The way that the pastor says it here. She put her hand on her hip, and she looked at Elijah, she said, ekew me?

You want me to go get a cup? You want me to make something with the bread? You want me to make something with the oil? Do you have any idea of the dire situation you're asking me to do at the moment? I'm going to make my last piece of bread, feed it to my kid and me, we're gonna die. You have the audacity to ask me for bread and for oil. God has the audacity to ask us for bread and oil because he brought us into this world. God gave us that because he is the living water, he is the bread of life. And all he's asking you to do is to go and take of what you've had and give it to somebody else because he also promises that it'll never run dry. The first before anything. That's the heart for mission. Someone has to go first, someone must give first, and someone needs to believe first. God multiplies obedience even when it requires a sacrifice. Fourth and final, world changers discover God multiplies what they release. The jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry until the day that the rain came. That same Spanish mom in that passage, she put it in a little container on the windowsill to remind her of what took place. And that was a reminder to her of God's faithfulness. You see, what looked like a loss became provision.

The widow thought she was given her last meal but instead she stepped into God's miracle. When God asks you to trust him, he's asking you to step into the miracle. This is how God works in missions. When believers release what they have, God multiplies it. Ordinary obedience, simple obedience, a simple yes brings an extraordinary impact. When we obey God, we say, yes, God, use me, whatever you need to, impact is extraordinary. And when we give, he provides. Pastor Dan mentioned it earlier, I mentioned it too. I'm not into this name it and claim it gospel. I'm not into this you give and you get gospel. I don't give in an offering because I wanna get back. I give in an offering because I know that the son of God died on a cross for my sins and he's coming back for me and there are people in this world that need to hear that. But can I say this? Every time I've given, he's taken care of me. The scripture is very clear. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. In short, as we're closing. I remember my son at the age of about 16 as he's saving up for a car. He says dad I want to get a car. It's a great saved up like 1,800 bucks. I think he's what it was I don't even remember it was so long ago, but he said I'm saving up for a car Wonderful, so he comes home from youth group one night and one of his friends They actually were gonna shut off the power in the house And he felt the compassion to give some money so that the family could keep the lights on

And he comes home and he's like dad. We got to help him. We got to help him And I'm like, you know, I'm all spiritual my son. Did you pray about it? My wife's kicking me underneath the table like you know, whatever. It's no did you pray about it? He says yeah, I prayed about I pray about it some more cuz I don't ever want anybody to work on emotion He wakes up the next morning his eyes a red shot He'd been up all night because I can't go to sleep dad. I got to do it I sat him down. I said son you do understand if however much you give that's less for your car Because we're not gonna come and help you on that We want you to trust God for this and he went ahead and he gave I don't know $400 Whatever it was so he was down to 1,200 We come over He was looking at he was looking at Jaguars He's a little Jaguars. I was like, dude, what are you doing? I think that's Jaguar for $1,500. It has no engine in it It's a Jaguar. I told you understand river. So as we went on he found a place in Horsham. He had a Saturn And we went over to to see the Saturn and as he went for a test drive I began negotiating with the guy knowing where I needed to be for him to pay for it That's manipulating the move of God I said no, it's teaching my son a lesson And so the guy actually talked it down. I talked him down to the exact amount $1,250 I think is what it ended up being and he's like, yeah, I'll praise God this gossip gets gets better. It's really cool So he goes because dad God did it I gave money and he took care of me I go. Yes, he did son and I just kept walking not say anything Fast forward two years. He's in college in Minneapolis. My daughter inherited the car from him and the the payments whatever I don't even know there's payments in that time, but she's working over here Chick-fil-a for Sal, Malaysia I don't want Sal owned it and She calls me up right two weeks before Christmas and she goes dad something bad happened I go what happened because some drunk guy came through the the the the Drive-thru and smashed it to four cars that were parked the Saturn's totaled. I'm like, oh, okay So I go what are we gonna do with her car? How are we gonna do this? And so the guy had no insurance. I'm like, all right, we didn't get any money back on this Somehow something happened two weeks later. I opened up the mailbox. There's a check for $2,400 for the car

1,200 to 2,400. Are you seeing what's happening here? God multiplies because somebody gave and it gets even better because my daughter needed a car and my daughter's like dad What am I gonna do? I'm gonna ready to college what's gonna happen our good friends Dave and Julie Goldsmith You're gonna meet them. They had to go back to Scotland So they had to get rid of their car and they said hey, we just feeling we need to gift the car to Michaela It was a Honda Element with 267,000 miles on it and you look down on the on the floor and you can actually see the road going right? But this girl drove this car down to Florida used it for two years of her college Career until she got a job and was able to buy her first car and when she bought her first car We thought we were gonna get maybe 50 bucks for the Honda Element come to find out Elements are a cult classic the guy gave us two grand for a stupid car that was given to us Are you seeing how God takes care of things? Are you seeing how God operates? I'm not saying that's why we give I'm not saying that's why we give if I was saying that's why we give then I would have wanted a Mercedes that day No, no, no. No God takes care of my needs God took care of my son's needs God took care of my daughter's needs and God takes care of our needs as we give towards him as he Sacrificially asks us to do that, right? Let me close it out this way If you could just picture a well and Somebody falling into the well, I know that's sadistic my apologies the person falls into well They're crying out for help and we look around and there's five or six of us. I'm too big to go in a well Pastor Dan you're skinnier than me. We're gonna send pastor Dan in the well, right? Somebody falls in the well with some pastor Dan in the well, right? But to send pastor Dan in the well We got to put a rope around him so that he doesn't fall and hang out because it's what's worse than one person The well is two people in the well So we're holding the rope as pastor Dan's going in there to grab a hold of them That's what you do every time that you give in a world changers offering You're holding the rope for my friend Jeremy in the city that you saw that video You're holding the rope for Sonia Alanya. You're holding the rope for Anthony Labruna You're holding the rope for the city of Camden, which praise God this coming Pentecost Sunday

We're gonna be planting an assembly God Church in Camden for the first time in over 50 years And guess what Your pastor already said favor on board. We're gonna help anyway We can to get this church going but because Camden is a well Well, and we need to get people in there, amen. So Calvary, would you stand to your feet with me? Just this one last quote. Dick Brogdon also said this. He said, God's kingdom advances on the other side of our obedience. Oh, that is so powerful. I just weep at that. Because you say yes, the kingdom of God moves forward. If you sit there and say no, God can't move his kingdom forward, or he can, he'll do it without you. Can you imagine if the widow had said, I wish I could help, but I don't have enough? That miracle would have never happened. She would have never experienced the oil and the flour. She would have never experienced that. But when she released what God had, God sustained her for the entire famine. And that's what missions giving looks like. That's what it means to give to world changers. We give, God multiplies, people hear the gospel, lives are changed, and no one is without Jesus, amen? So if you want to be a world changer and you're ordinary, can you just raise your hand and say, pastor, I want to be a world changer.

Come on, come on, amen. Just keep your hands lifted for a moment. Keep your hands lifted for a moment. Pastor Dan, they're your world changers. They're yours, buddy. We just pray together for one moment. Let's just bow our heads in this moment. We're gonna receive communion, but before we do that, hey, being a world changer, making a difference, it's not just about what we're gonna give with our money. It's also about how we're using our time, how we're using our talents. Are we willing to pray for lost people? Are we willing to share our faith, share what the Lord has done, extended invite to church this Easter? Because one invite could change everything in someone's life. Can we just ask the Lord right now to just search our hearts and to just say, God, where do I need to stretch? Lord, is there any area of my life where I've gotten comfortable? Is there any area of my life where I've gotten complacent? Is there any area of my life where the focus is more on myself and my safety and my wants than people who don't know you? Father, whatever it is that you're speaking to our heart today, may we just be obedient to take a step, whatever that looks like,

because we wanna be a church that makes a difference. And we believe the fruit of being a disciple is that followers of Jesus give, followers of Jesus serve, and followers of Jesus fish for lost people. Lord, break our hearts for the things that break yours. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
