Amazing Staff Development Speaker Eric Estrada
Eric Estrada speaks life and prophesies over the staff. Amazing morning. We want you to feel like you're our church family and so here's what happens in our staff meetings.

(mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) (mouse clicking) - Hello, men and women, such an honor and a blessing to be able to speak to you from right here in McKinney, Texas at Life Fellowship Church, into your tablet and whatever facility that you're in. My name is Logan Williams. My TDC number was 1490218. I have four numbers after that. Did nine and a half years around and around in the correctional system in Texas. Man, God radically got a hold of my life and my life is completely different. I want to give you guys this hope. You know my heart for you guys and you know my excitement and encouragement because he's just completely wrecked and transformed my life. Like for 20 years, I was in and out on the streets doing drugs, doing crime, in jail, in prison, get out, little go for a little while, back into it, all that stuff. And I know many, many of you can relate to that. Many of you can and many of you can relate to come into prison or getting into some type of situation. Life at looms large because of our behaviors or because of the stuff that we're doing. And you have a moment when you're like, man, I got to change. I got to do something different because gosh, man, this sucks. I don't want to be in prison. I don't want to come back here again. And then to have those good intentions and then to get out and to fall right back into it again. I know that
frustration and that anxiety and I just, man, we just want to encourage you and let you know, man, you are loved here at Life Fellowship Church. You are part of our church family. We pray for you guys daily. Anybody that mails in prayer cards, it gets prayed over in three different prayer groups because we love you. You know that I love you. And, man, if you're anywhere in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, when you get out, I don't care where you live. If you're anywhere around here on a Sunday, man, come up here and at least say hi, visit us. We love meeting you guys. And of course, if you do live here, man, we want to walk along with you and do this life and do this walk with you. Hey, remember to tell your friends and family that they can download the same Pando app that you watch on your tablets. They can download it on their phone and they can watch the same teachings, the same messages, the same, they can read the same books. They got the chosen on there, the Bible recap. You know what all is on there. Well, yo, your family can do the same thing that you're doing. And when you speak to them in visitation or when you talk to them on the phone or when you have write letters or messages through the tablet, man, you can you can have a few moments of Hey, what did that message say to you? What the Holy Spirit say to you during that teaching during that message? What did he reveal to you? And you can do this walk with your loved ones. It's so important to start getting into that habit. We are never intended to do this walk alone. Never intended to. We've got to have good golly people and it starts with our families. I don't want you to fall victim to the lie that you can't lead your families just because you're behind the wire. I know men that are that are freer than inside there than they
are out here. Men that are more spiritually fit, more sound in there. You have got to not fall victim to that lie. Lead your family. Lead your kids over the phone at whatever. However, God allows you to man. He will honor that. He will. about the parable of the farmer that scatters seeds because I'm thinking about you guys and I'm thinking about all the hundreds of thousands of views that we get on our messages and stuff and I know that there's 180-something churches on the panda at the last time I checked. I know you guys are getting lots and lots and lots and lots of word. You're getting lots of good stuff like what a miracle that tablet is. I didn't have a tablet when I was locked up. What a miracle, what an amazing thing to have to be able to actually have life spoken into you in your downtime, in your free time, Lord knows there's plenty of that in there and there's plenty of other things that you could be doing that will lead you off another path. But man, to have this, it's awesome, but it's not thinking about all the seeds that you guys are getting and I'm just going to read the parable. It's in Luke 8, I'm going to start in verse 4, it says one day Jesus told a story in the form of a parable to a large crowd that had gathered from many towns to hear him. This is Jesus talking. A farmer went out to plant his seeds and as he scattered it across the field, some seed fell on a footpath where it was stepped on and the birds ate it. Other seed fell among rocks. It began to grow but the plant soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plant. Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred tons as much as had been planted and when he said this, he called out anyone with ears that he hear should hear and understand. Guys this is a prayer that I would be praying while I'm in there while, man like we need to be doing everything we can in the situation that you're in right now to get as strong spiritually as we can to grow as much as we possibly can.
So guys ask God for ears to hear and eyes to see so that we can hear and understand the mysteries of the gospel. So his disciples asked him, what does this parable mean? And then down in verse 11 it says this is the meaning of the parable. The seed is God's word. Y'all got exponentially more of God's word coming into your life because of that tablet. Yes we have open church services, yes we have the Bible, yes we have an occasional thing that you can watch on TV if everyone in the pot agrees to it and all that kind of stuff. But man now you've got a bunch of seed coming at you. He's saying the seed that fell on the footpath represented those who hear the message only to have the devil come and take it away from their hearts and prevent them from believing and being saved. So you hear it but it doesn't take long and then he comes and snatches it away. He comes with a lie, he comes to kill, steal and destroy. I say this all the time, devil's not just running around like trying to poke you with his pitchfork and make you bad and drink more and cost more and smoke more. No no he's trying to devour you, he's trying to completely take you out and he's going to do everything he can to keep these words, the word to keep the seeds from taking root. And he's really really good at it, he's been around from the very beginning. He knows exactly how to get us. So another prayer I'd pray is God, man protect me from the enemy, bind the enemy that's going to come and try to rob these seeds from me. Because he's coming, he is and he's good at it and he succeeds a lot of the time. Because the word says what's bound on earth is bound in heaven, that's a prayer that you're holding God to his word. It says it in his word I would pray that prayer, God help me man, protect me from the enemy, bind the enemy, any assignments that are on me or even this pot or even this prison that I'm in. And I just bind that and I just pray that they fall to the ground powerless. And so that's the first one.
The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don't have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation. That was me a lot of the times. I would come to open church when I was locked up. I would hear a message. I would get fired up. It would really, oh man, that was a great message. But then I had no roots. I didn't do anything to get rooted. I just kept living any other way I wanted to live. I kept doing the hustles and I kept doing the gambling and I kept doing the, you know, if you had some stuff or whatever you had, man, I'd partake in it. Because in my thinking, I'm like, you know, yeah, that was a good word and yeah, I'm going And so what I'm going to do is, man, while I'm in here suffering, I'm just going to do whatever I can to make this comfortable for me. But when I get out, that's when I'm going to start doing this stuff and see no roots there, no time in the word, no prayers, no worship. You know, there's nothing that I'm doing to grow those roots deep. I just keep on living the same old way I was living. And then when temptation comes, I'm easily fall away. When I hit that gate, man, he hits me with my flavor of temptation and I easily fall away. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly, the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, our flesh, right, lust of the eyes, the pride of life, the enemy, the lies like we get focused on. And I was just talking to one of my co-workers 10 minutes ago about this. How man, we can get so distracted in life with good things that there's no time left for the God things, the things that actually root us, the things that actually will produce treasure in heaven, the things that actually God might look at us
and say, well done, my good and faithful servant. So guys, we've got to stay rooted and to do that, it takes effort. You know, he talks about there's a wide road that leads to destruction and a narrow road that that leads to life. So many will search for the narrow road, but few will find it. Why? Because it's a difficult road. It's a difficult road not going along with the crowd and on the wide road, going along with the crowd, whatever they're doing in your dorm, whatever thing is happening to go against that man and to say, no, no, no, I'm not going to do that, I'm going to go over here, I'm going to read the word, I'm going to stay, I'm going to get rooted because I don't want the word to be crowded out and die. I want to, I want to be strong in the faith. And so they never grow into maturity and the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God's word, clean to it, patiently produce a huge harvest, honest, good-hearted people. I mean, are any of us that? I mean, that's what the word says. But I think it's it's we have to check our motives, man. We have to to truly desire a relationship with the Lord. He is not going to force himself upon us. He wants us to choose him. And we can be the gods of our life as long as we want and it'll just we make terrible gods and it'll just keep getting worse and worse and worse and worse until we finally get to a point where like, OK, God, I need you. I need you and not only do I need you, but I'm willing to do anything I can to sever that sin from my life, anything I can to get rooted in you, anything that I need to do to have a stronger relationship with you because I need you, God. Those are the ones now, if you look here, there's four options for seeds. Three of them are good.
So like 70 for her five percent, according to the word, are going to fall off. So I want to ask you, man, like, what is your soil? How is the soil of your heart? Are you bent towards the world? The answer is yes, we're all bent towards the world. We're all bent towards the flesh. We're all bent towards that. But man, if we don't recognize that and start doing everything we can to come against that, we're going to end up in one of those three camps that that it's either going to get taken away by the enemy choked out or or it's not going to be rooted and spring up. And I just don't want that for you, man, because I feel like God, the revival is happening behind those walls. I believe God is raising up an army for these end times because he always does things that you would never expect him to do. He always answers prayers and ways that like not always, but oftentimes he answers prayers and ways you would have never seen it coming. And I just believe because I see it when I'm in there, God is raising up an army for these end times and it's going to take the world by surprise, man. And I want you to be in that army, man, not only that, I want you to have a life purpose and meaning and calling because it's so good, man. How many decades did we did we spend, man, doing drugs, doing, doing drink and drugs and sex and crime and trying to stack paper and get a bunch of stuff that And any of that stuff and man, I want it takes so much Revelation of that and then effort to come against that but man I'm telling you it's so worth it. I want that so much for every single one of you So I just invite you all to examine your heart Examine your hearts man what kind of soil are you? What are you? And you can always ask God in prayer man. God changed my heart David did it before it searched me God and know me search my heart bring anything to the surface that offends you
Because he will sever that thing if you're willing again, he won't force himself on you, but she got to be willing Let me pray father. We love you. I love these men and women who watch God I love that you're raising up an army behind the wire God. I love what you're doing man in the hearts of men and women who have just finally reached the end like I did Gotta pray that your holy spirit would fall on them right now that that you're convicting spirit would just Illuminate in them that oh my gosh. I'm not rooted. Oh my gosh. I've been listening to the enemy Oh my gosh, I've been letting the the cares of this world the what little Things of the world that I can have when I'm in there I'm letting that dominate me man and I don't want to do that anymore and so gotta I pray that they would cry out to you and Ask you for your help your power and their lives God that you would strengthen them in their inner being God So that they would know your love your love that changes things man that love that passes knowledge God just let your holy spirit fall on every one of them and let them know how much you love them God if there's anyone watching today that's never called upon your name God I pray that they would be saved right now by the power of your holy spirit that God you would just draw them unto you God You would just chase after them with with with all the desperation leaving 99 to go after them God. I just pray that for them now pray that you bless their families while they're gone be a provider To their families God remove that anxiety that all of them are feeling about their families and loved ones that they can't communicate with them They don't know what's happening with God I press pray against that in Jesus name God I pray that if their fan if their kids need a healer that you would you would heal them in Jesus name that if they need Provision that you would be their provider in Jesus name God I pray that she would just let all these men and women know that their kids their loved ones their grandparents I mean that they are your sons and daughters as well and that you love them with a love that though We can't even fathom or imagine that that would bring them comfort God and that that wouldn't be a distraction in their walk So God I just thank you. We praise you. We love you. We give you all the praise and glory in Jesus name Amen, and you know, I just got one more question for you guys whose house God's house. Let's give him some praise Some people that I'm sure you have lots of people that you'd like to have but he mentioned a name Chris Astrada to me and I'm guessing Chris probably in 2014 or 15 you came for the first time and it was like bam
That's gonna happen every year at least at least and Chris isn't just a preacher communicator. He's he's at another level Some of you know him. I understand from CF and I and so I hope you get a chance to engage with him this morning But Chris would come year after year after year and then most recently the last weekend of July and I walked back into the ready room the Sunday before I came here I Walked back into our ready room green room there at Chapel Hill just to say hello to everybody and encourage him and Chris is there I knew Chris was there and I walked in of course to see him and Man, it was just so good to connect again, and he said pastor Dave. What are you doing? And I said wow so lots happening and I said in fact next Sunday. I'll be at life fellowship in McKinney, Texas he goes What? And I said yeah, and I told him what my assignment was and he said my gym is like five I'll be like what are you kidding me? I so we've got to connect when when I get there and of course his schedules crazy and mine's been crazy on Mondays for sure But we finally connected and and I told him I said you got to come speak to our staff you got to come preach you just got to come and just pour out on us and so he Joyfully said yes, and he's had a busy weekend already just flew in this morning from Orlando And so just came straight here from the airport after connecting with Erica and Erica so glad to have you with us today but I want you to just open your hearts really really wide and I just gave him the morning I basically said okay you're it today and so I don't know if it's it's not 20 minutes but I don't know how long it is it's not probably 40 minutes you take as long as you need and deliver whatever you need to tell us a little bit about your ministry and who you're with and all that I won't speak for you but tell us back your family to your kids and he's got he's got four great kids unless there's more since then okay come on give it up for Pastor Chris anyone and oh there we go okay God doesn't just show up for anyone just like that I mean I you know I felt like when I came in
today and actually I was flying in I was like man I'm gonna be in a room with a bunch of Eagles and elites I felt like there's a high caliber leadership that's represented in this room and I think it's worthy of what God has been doing getting to I came by with like two or three weeks ago right before I got on another plane and and was just blown away by the caliber and and even honest can I say just the capacities of all the team and here in Pastor Dave and I think God sent the right person for the right season come on do you love Pastor Dave and Pastor Cindy you guys are phenomenal and they have been such encouragers and hospitable generous to not just me or Erica but our entire family when we would come out to Atlanta all those years and all those times and just so grateful that God handpicked you to be here at this time you guys are phenomenal and and I feel like we could just keep talking for days that just never stops but recognizing I want to be good to your time I know you carry a lot I know you've got a lot of things that are absolutely prioritized here but I did come because I felt like this was something God had assigned to me you know you get into travel ministry somewhat and and at the beginning it's like you'll go anywhere and you just and you're going where you're invited but towards a certain point you have to step over and you start getting invites on multiple days for the same date or the same weekend and it's no longer I'm going where I'm invited I want to go where I feel sent and and I'd be honest with you I would not wake up for anyone at 3 30 in the morning to get on a flight and be here after I had to had a long travel weekend being in multiple cities but I just knew that God had assigned this moment and so I took it seriously enough to not just give you a Ted class Ted talk or a life coaching class or masterclass or anything else but I really wanted to speak into your spirit as you were pouring out the entire week I want to make sure that you left just feeling like you were water hose like you were the whole time all right so but recognizing this is my first time really standing in front of a lot of you let me kind of tell you my story so you know where this crazy Mexican is coming from all right believe it or not I'm Brown this is not a fake tan I didn't spray this
song this isn't a peptide this a permanent tan baby this is homegrown all right so I grew up on the border of the United States of Mexico and you probably have heard of my city but like all the wrong reasons nobody vacations in my city okay they go to visit family or to do something illegal that's you know I'm not playing you've heard about all the cartel wars all the drug trafficking all the kidney okay those are all my cousins ha so I remember uncles being arrested by the DEA and you that was on Tuesday and they'd be out by Friday because that was just how things worked all right so can you imagine growing up in that kind of firing by the age of 12 I found myself with a drug addiction a lust problem and an anger issue but I love to play basketball I don't know nobody loves the hoop in here yeah all two of us so I would go to this church right that had a gym and they'd open it up right before the the student ministry night and they'd fill up the gym with all these ballers and and then they turned it into an outreach and they start preaching at you when they turn into a preach I would never stay I would dip and leave and find some us to play but the youth pastor got involved in my life and one day he came to me said hey do you want to go to church camp now don't judge me I had no idea what this was I was a wicked kid all right he's like hey do you want to go to church camp I said they're gonna be hot girls at this camp you may find women at this guy's a six-year-old pervert I had no idea of saying and he was like well we're gonna go for Jesus I said fine you can go for Jesus I'm gonna get some phone numbers I'm going to camp what I didn't realize is on the first night of that camp your boy got saved got filled with the Holy Spirit and called in the ministry all in one night baby it's a game-changing night transform my life I like to say I've been ruined ever since from that point forward I went to Bible College and in that season of my life I met my wife Erica we became missionaries to Sri Lanka I don't even know where Sri Lanka is at great all three of us so Sri Lanka is 40 miles south of India this was in the middle of a civil war so we remember mortar shells blown up down the road from our house or suicide bombers clocking off vests I'm in front of our hotel or
checking for IEDs as we drive we were seeing daily salvations, signs, wonders, healings, miracles, freedom, it was wild, it was awesome. And then we came back and took over a student ministry right here in North Texas. And how do you know, when you're a ministry in a war zone where your life could end any day, and then you take over a student ministry in North Texas, you just built a little different, you know what I'm saying? So all we did was win souls, make disciples, raise leaders, and release revivalists. That's the plate that we serve to everybody. And we started watching God cause a sweeping revival through our young people, which landed us on the radar at my alma mater, Christ for the nations. And so we were able to go and serve out, yeah, come on, see if an eye is in the room. So like we would go and, Eric and I would be assigned out there for 10 years and led in a high capacity space and have graduates all over the world, some of them in this room. But really the last several years of our life, we've dedicated to raising and releasing this next wave of voices and influencers that I believe are gonna be holy disruptions in every sphere of society. I'm talking about medicine, government, education, not just the church, not just entertainment, but across the side as a whole.
And you know, there's something about leading people and then there's something about leading leaders. And when I was at Christ for the nations, that's a different demographic, that's a different dynamic, that's a different call. I was just earlier this year, I was with a bunch of Navy SEALs. I don't know how I end up in the rooms that I end up in. I'm from the hood, I don't know how I end up in these rooms. All I know is that I say yes to whatever God tells me to say yes to. And it literally fell, although these guys are absolutely one of ones in every way. I was blown away by how similar it was to speak to them as it was to speak to students at Christ for the nations because I felt like God is raising up a high caliber leader right now in every one of us because the call is great, the demand is great, the need is great, and the kingdom of God is advancing and then we need that more, are you with me? And so there's no way I could do this on my own. My wife and I, we just celebrated 22 years of marriage. Come on this year, come on, thank God for that. No, you can clap louder than that, trust me. Like, I'm telling you right now, like I have the longest first marriage in my family, all right? So I'm breaking records and curses out here, people, all right? And then we have four amazing kids ages 19, 17, 13, and 10. And she, Erica came to me like two or years ago, and she's like, hey, let's try and have one more.
And I was like, that's the devil. I don't feel the Holy Ghost on that. And so we went back and forth. And so on Father's Day last year, she surprised me. I have been interceding, believing God, contending that my family would one day welcome a dog into our home. And my wife went and she was anti and I was like, let's just get one. And hopefully that's scratched the itch of the fifth kid 'cause it does take that amount, but we have a dog now. So we have four kids, a dog and a mortgage. That's who we are, all right? So, but I can't think of a better place to be than right here at Life Fellowship. I'll unpack a little bit more about what we do because the vision that we carry right now at missions.me and Love has no limits is we wanna unite the global church for the salvation and transformation of nations. And our heart is to mass mobilize armies of missionaries into targeted cities in America and nations on the earth, where we would do a data deep dive for two to three years. And then we would come up with strategies. I believe the church is a serving agent, but we're supposed to go beyond that. We're supposed to be a solving agent. If we can shut down issues and problems and things that plague certain families or communities or areas, friend, it's time for the church not to just be irresistible, but to be irreplaceable.
And so this is what our heart is, our heart is the platform, the local church, not ask the local church the platform us. And so I'll unpack a little bit more about that, but I have a word for us this morning. Is anyone hungry? Come on, I'm talking to a room full of leaders. You better be hungry, all right? And listen, I don't do no quiet church. I know this is staff, all staff, but I'm too Mexican for that. I don't do no quiet church, all right? Like if you like your church quiet, you don't want to go to heaven. I'm going to help you out, all right? Because there's going to be one mixing up there, making as much tacos and goritas as possible, and worship in as loud as possible. So we might as well have heaven on earth and all staff, are you with me? All right, it's amazing how food will wake everybody up, all right? Listen, I just, I had this scripture actually on the flight over Joel chapter three, verse nine. I just felt like this was a prophetic declaration over all of you this morning. It says this, it says, "Proclaim this among the nations." And I just said, "Proclaim this among McKinney." Proclaim this among Anna and Melissa and Alan. Proclaim this among Craig Ranch and Prosper and Salina.
Proclaim this among North Texas. Prepare for war. Then he says, "Wake up the mighty ones." Some translations say men, some say warriors, but wake up the mighty ones, let all of them draw near and let them come up battle ready. And I feel like God is saying, I'm not waking up nominal ones. one that know what their 40-hour work week looks like, or even more. He said, "I'm waking up the mighty ones now. I'm waking up the ones who have showed themselves reliable to heaven." Come on, does heaven consider us reliable? That is a great question to constantly ask ourselves. When God is in the war room, that strategy room that he has where he wants to unleash fresh strategy on the earth is our name at the top of the list for that strategy that he wants to unleash, right? It's time to wake up the mighty ones, and I feel like God has been causing fresh dreams to come up inside of this team. I know that, boy, you've had a year, right? We can laugh about it now, it's okay, no one's gonna get fired for that, but I can tell you this, I have been through some really tough transitions. I have helped be a part or been on boards that have gone through some really tough transitions, and I can tell you, the ones who remain are the ones that God has a deep claim in, and they're the ones who God has raised up, and so as you, I just confirm, like you said, these people love Jesus, that is very evident to me across this room. I don't think there's one person here that just showed up because they're getting paid. I think there's people here, they showed up because they want to be carriers of his presence, they want to lose something fresh, and that's what makes you mighty. Can I tell you, this is what makes you different than other teams and staffs? I've spoken to hundreds, thousands of church staffs, trust me, I'm telling you, this is what makes you different, and what I'm from the School of Thought is what makes you different is what makes you dangerous as well, and you are dangerous to good. Come on, you're dangerous to cancer,
you're dangerous to depression, you're dangerous to demonic, you're dangerous to generational, you're dangerous for good, and I believe that there is a key attribute to being mighty, which is the one I want to focus on today, and so I want you to meet me in first Samuel chapter 15, first Samuel the 15th chapter, while you're turning there, let me paint on a blank canvas for you for just a moment. King Saul is about to receive some very specific instructions from the Lord, and I have noticed that when the Lord gets very specific with me, he's not trying to impress me with his attention to detail. He's actually saying, I need this done in this timing, in this way, with these names, with these people, or to actually cause a wrinkle in what I'm trying to do. It'll still get accomplished, but it might to be a cause a delay, or it might cause a distraction, and so he gets very specific with Saul, and the reason why he's coming at this time is he's testing Saul's heart. You do realize that God tests our heart. He is constantly testing our heart. I don't care what title we have, or what last name, or what portfolio, or what level of influence and global reach you have. He will always test you in the realm of humility. Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 2, he will test you in all things of humility. Are you following me? And so you have to understand where King Saul, a lot of people hate on King Saul, but if you really study King Saul, King Saul was a well-caliber leader. King Saul, listen, he took over 12 tribes and made 12 tribes that kind of operate on their own and unified them as a nation. He not only did that, can you imagine being the guy that had to teach 12 tribes that were really radical and very rebellious? Have you ever imagined teaching them taxes? Think about that. Imagine teaching them, "Hey, I'm gonna draft your strongest sons and put them in my military." Can you imagine saying, "I'm gonna now require all your best lands and vineyards and homes and make them palaces and vacation homes for me as your king." Can you imagine telling them that everything in the kingdom belongs to the king's family? We just lease it out to you because that's how it works. Like he had to move a nation and so you can imagine how that might go, especially in America. You imagine how that might go, right? Let alone in this time and age with the nation
of Israel. And so now King Saul is smart, right? Like he does the first thing as king is he secures the borders of Israel. When he secures the borders of Israel, it means no raiders are coming in and stealing from the agriculture, so the agriculture booms. When the agriculture booms, the economy booms. And he's smart. When the economy booms, he goes and strengthens his military. Then he starts a war campaign and he starts kicking butt and taking names. Everybody loves them, some king Saul. But then God comes right here and tests him while he's in his stride, while he's in his prime, while everybody's in love with him. There's not one negative headline about him. No one's doing opinion polls. No one's doing any type of hit pieces. There's no TMZ coming after them, right? There's no clips. Nothing, right? Everybody loves them. Some king Saul. And this is what he's, God says through his prophet Samuel. Verse one, Samuel said to Saul, "I'm the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over his people, Israel." So listen now to the message from the Lord. This is what the Lord Almighty says. "I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they ambushed them as they came up as the east is from the west. He also remembers the day the enemy was stupid enough to ever touch your life and he will have his vengeance. Right? Look at this. Verse 3. Now go. Attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all of them. Do not spare them. Put to death men, women, children, infants, cattle, sheep, camels and donkeys. Come on, this is a bad day to be a donkey. You won't be an art vark or an orangutan, but you won't be no donkey on this day, right? Because that went on the list. Right? Look, jump down to verse 7. Then Saul attacked the Amalekites all the way from Havala to sure. Say that with me from Havala to one more time, from to near the eastern board of Egypt. He took Agak, king of the Amalekites alive. He begins this attack in the city of Havala and goes to the desert of sure. Do you know how long that is? That is 694 miles. I measure that. If you started right here, that attack right here on your campus, you would drive them well across Texas, almost in, if not in, to New Mexico. You're talking about he starts an attack and goes from the city of Havala to the desert of sure, near the eastern board of Egypt, but he takes king Agak alive and all the people, all those people he told to destroy with the sword, but Saul and the armies spared Agak and the best of the sheep, the cattle, the fat calves
and lambs, everything that was good. These, they were unwilling to destroy completely but everything that was despised and weak, they totally destroyed. Man, there, there's so much here and we're going to, we're going to taste it all like a piece of chicken. I think I'm getting hungry now. I know you guys had breakfast. I don't remember having meat. Oh, I had a shake. That's what I had. I had a shake, but I just, I want to get into this and unpack as much as we can, but I want to pray first. Holy Spirit, I recognize your presence in this room. I recognize your pleasure in this room. Lord, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ to flood every heart. Lord, I speak to this atmosphere and I say you are full of faith. You are full of hope. You're full of peace. You're full of joy. I come against every limit, every restriction, every barrier, every lie that's come on these leaders, everything that they feel like disqualifies them or everything that rises up against them or everything that doesn't go right. I speak to it now. I break every demonic harassment in thought, in emotion, in life, in relationships, in their money, Lord, in every way. I break it now in the mighty name of Jesus and I establish your men in your way. I call them in to strength. I call them in to their destiny. I call them in to a greater focus. I call them in to their identity in Christ in the mighty name of Jesus. And everyone shout it. Amen. Amen. Hey, I'm calling this if you're taking notes to show we hope that you are. But if you're taking notes, I'm calling this message finish the job. I don't know how else to say this, but there is something that separates mighty ones and it's not talent. You can hire talent. It's not skill set. You can hire skill set. What separates us is this quality that's in our integrity and character and spear maturity. It's called finishing. It's will you finish, even though you already worked 40 hours, will you finish? Will you finish, even though the demand that you didn't realize the demand would be this great, the sacrifice would be this great, the budget needed to be more. You didn't realize that you didn't. We're going to have the support that you thought you could lean on. And now you have to shoulder in God and you have to carry something with only the Lord's help. Will you finish? I remember, listen, the story about to tell you is BC and B.E. So this is before Christ and for Erica, my wife. I grew up in the hood. I told you this. A friend of mine, she and I decided we were going to go to homecoming together. I know that HOCO is really big over here in Texas, but believe it or not, other parts
of America, they don't really care. But here, it's massive. They do mums and everything else. We decided, hey, we're going to go as friends. Her name was Leslie. Leslie was a good church-going girl. I was not. All right? But we decided, hey, let's just go as friends. And so this is where I started learning Pastor Dave. There is a big difference between the way the female species gets ready and the way the male species gets ready for a formal event, right? Ladies, like when you do something like a gala or you do something like a fundraiser or something that's black, like you can or homecoming, you can't just wear the same thing that you've worn before. You have to go get a brand new dress. Am I right? Come on, I'm preaching the gospel this morning, right? And that takes three months of prayer and fasting for you just to find the right dress. Then I know it's not just the dress. I've been married long enough and I have two daughters, all right? And I know that it's not just the dress. Then you've got to find the right shoes. Then it's not just the shoes, although you may think it sounds like the shoes. Then you've got to find the right purse. Then it's not This is a demonic vicious cycle women living called getting ready All right guys are built a lot different come on Mendolemae all right We just put on what doesn't smell bad and isn't wrinkled Good to go. We good to go. That doesn't make us nasty. That makes us efficient. That's what that makes us all right Thank you Trent and so like I I'm getting good a man's now So like I I remember like Leslie spends the whole day gets a hair done get some nails did everything gets done up Right me I wait till like an hour like I guess I'll wear that you know and so I remember I don't know how it works in North Texas if anyone's got a pass But I I remember when it where I'm from you don't go straight to the the homecoming You go to a couple parties first before you go to home come there are people not in their heads in here going Yeah, I work this is science you could chat to PT this this is actually true Right, so so like I go to a couple parties before I go pick up Leslie. I was gonna pick her up I told her hey, I'm gonna pick you up at 7 30 dance search at seven I'll pick you up at 7 30 will be faster than you late and I'll pick you up Well, I go and I'm telling you I get so drunk and high that seven comes seven thirty eight Eight thirty nine nine round nine forty five. I am a hot drunk high mess, and I remember
And so I remember I picked up the phone and I called Leslie. I said aa aa Leslie a We ain't gonna make it to the dance But I know a couple parties we can go to and we're still making a night And she's like no thanks. I'm going to bed by and hangs up the phone Thank you. Thank you. Was it you this my wife said yeah, good job but Like what's funny is I can get all the ladies laughing like I had a dress the first as soon as I tell you I stood up my homecoming date your face turned some kind of way don't look at me like that. You know what you look like You look like a velociraptor doing that all right. Don't do that to me all right Listen, I got so drunk and high I got so intoxicated that I totally stood up my prom date And I feel like a lot of people treat the assignment at God on their life just like that They get intoxicated with excuses They get drunk under the wellmen the opinions of other people they are in comparison of other churches or other leaders and other ministries and other movements and then they don't realize but they are asking actually missing windows and doors and Opportunities and Kairos moments and they don't realize it but they're under the spell of a drunkenness and they don't know how to break it in the only way that you break that kind of Spiritual laziness or maybe distraction or blurred vision is some grit and some spiritual strength that says I don't care how everyone else is doing it God asks me to do it like this I'm not sure how everyone else is going to get it done, but I know that God asked me to finish it I know I raised my hand when I said I'll I'll serve. I'll carry this. I'll do this. I'll move the needle I'll close the gap Sure does heaven consider you reliable When God is dreaming of what he wants to do from students to kids to Missions to to creative arts or what he wants to do from the preschool all the way into the community is your name at the top of The list not the church's name your name Because this is the only way we get to finish is where we can show ourselves to the Lord that we have been approved by the testing of challenges and obstacles Disruption uncertainty what we didn't see happening friend I'm telling you the greatest leaders are the ones who know how to overcome adversity Who are the ones who can see past the pain recognize the spirit? That's an operation pray themselves there call themselves to a fast
Worship themselves out a little bit longer cause their other teams to be able to rise and start taking on the same level of hunger Or the same level of focus and dedication. This is what it means to be a finisher And if we're gonna be finishers, let me give you three things three quick thoughts number one Partial obedience is still disobedience Then not let me help us out partial obedience is still disobedience you guys like stories, right? I'm just helping some people out because I know it's Monday morning. You had a big day yesterday I get it, but like you guys don't mind stories. I remember I was at a conference recently and they were like pastor Chris We love you. You're so funny. Haha but they told me they were like less stories and and and Less funny, and I was like that's done I was like that's stupid. Have you not read the Bible? All Jesus did like all this man did was tell stories people come to him with life's questions He'd be like there's a certain man. There's a certain widow. There's a certain field. There's a he just pop off in the story so I our heart with what we do at missions me is we want to mass mobilize armies of [BLANK_AUDIO] You You You You You You You You You You You You You You
You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You You I think that's like incredible. And then we culminated in the ten stadiums on the same night, at the same time, we never advertised one name, not one brand, not one band, we're not about that. Our heart is to platform the local church, not ask the local church to platform us. We've done 67 stadiums around the world, and I've never preached in one. Not because I can't, but we would rather have God's man or God's woman raised and speak for their own nation, and I have no problem, I have no problem being hidden. I find I move better in certain capacities because I am hidden. And so, in the seven days, ten stadiums, we watch 1.1 million people give their lives
to Jesus and still be found in a local church six weeks later. I mean, that just doesn't happen. The retention ratios are unbelievable. Even Billy Graham, the BGA, the Bill Graham Evangelistic Association was calling us going, how did you do that? And it was simply because we drafted behind the leadership of the local church. I'm telling you, having to leave thousands of senior pastors into this vision has been a unique grace that I didn't know I had until I started operating in it. But I remember when we were standing, as our team was standing in the office of the president of Honduras, we said, "Mr. President, your country's in pain. You know your homicide rate is here, your suicide rate is here, your poverty lines are extending, not decreasing." We said, "But what if in some small part God was speaking to your nation through the prophet Isaiah?" When he says, "Can a nation be saved in a day? Can a people be reborn in a moment?" We said, "What if God was speaking to your nation through this prophet?" We said, "We want to petition for five things." We said, "Number one, would you stand with us in the largest stadium in the largest city of your nation to clear in Honduras a new nation under the lordship of Jesus Christ?" Number two, would you open up all the borders so we can ship in millions of dollars of humanitarian aid with no red tape or hang ups at the border? Number three, would you give us access to every high school in your nation so we can bring an army of thousands of people to preach Jesus, do an altar call, and a follow campaign for anyone that makes an eternal decision? Number four, would you give us the 18 largest stadiums in the 18 largest cities of your nation? Number five, would you underwrite all the audio, visual, lighting, and streaming capacity for those stadiums? Just some small asks to journey over a whole leader.
President Lobo Sosa was so moved, he took a resolution out of his desk, signed it into motion, and it passed 100 in government 60 days later, and it's now a national holiday that's still going to this day. It's called One Nation One Day, and so we started massing this army of thousands to come, and at one point, this was actually one of the first nations we did, and at that time we only made a team of about 2,100 missionaries from around the globe, but we didn't have a way to get them there. We called every major airline that would actually be able to cover this level of travel, and we said, "Hey, stage some planes in Miami, we'll take up every seat," and then we'll just fly them back and forth to Dagoos and right back to Miami, back before it takes several legs, and no one would believe that we could afford over 2,100 international tickets. They don't even do that for the Olympics. So I was like, "Man, this is the church causing the world new problems," which is just the way I like it. So I remember we're sitting there, and our team is told, "Hey, you need to get into the minister of tourism." He's like, "You need to get in my office." So we're really curious, "Hey, why?" And he's like, "I don't want to embarrass you guys. I want to tell you this face to face." He's telling us like, hey, I'm sorry to tell you, but you can't come. We're like, no, no, we coming. I'm like, no, you don't understand, we're coming. No, I'm sorry, you can't come. Why can't we come? I don't want to say anything, but you can't come. Look, I'm Mexican and we can get in and out of things before PP even over there. I grew up in a cartel.
I know how to get stuff in and out of things. I'm brown, I'll make that joke. So I remember, I'm sitting there, like, our team is just blown away by, why don't you want us to come? And then he says, because you chartered the wrong plane. See, nobody would believe that we could afford that many plane tickets, so we chartered our own 747. But the problem is, he said, the largest plane they can land in Tugusiapa at our airport, our largest airport, is a 737. We can't even land this plane. We're like, just put some rocks at the end of the runway. Make sure it cows there and make sure it stops. And he's like, it doesn't work like that. We said, what needs to happen over this plane of the land? Now listen, we could just say, you know what? Let's just stage it in teams over the next two years. We could lower the expectation. We could lower the bar. We feel the opposition. Oh, this isn't working out. Or we could have some finishing grit. Or we could have something that qualified us because it's what's in Jesus' DNA. We could be finishers. We couldn't lower the bar. We don't compromise the vision. We don't lower our expectation of ourselves, let alone our faith in God. So now, just because we are caught off guard
doesn't mean he was. And he said, what needs to happen in order for this plane to land? Because we're not going to be partial with this vision. He said, well, if you're going to land this plane, he said, you have to tear up all the asphalt, poor new, concrete asphalt, the grade that lands planes. Then you've got to upgrade all the lighting in the runway. You've got to upgrade all the tech in the radar, in the towers. You've got to actually buy brand new emergency vehicles to service this size plane. You also need to park the plane. And so you have to tear down half the terminals in Tagusiapa. And you have to build that out. And he said, and you have about 10 months to do it. We said, no problem, we'll do it. You ever said something? And you're just like, no, come back. We said, no problem. And he's like, he just looked at us like we were crazy, which I'm getting used to this look. Because I've gotten this look multiple times now. No problem, we'll do it. How? We've got a private investor. No, we didn't do this in the room. We'd have looked foolish if we'd have done that in the room. But I'm telling you, making a long story short, in nine months, brand new runway was poured.
Upgraded all the lighting in every runway, not just one. Upgrade all the tech and the radar in the tower. Then we got the United Nations to pay for brand new emergency vehicle services and ship them over in time. We found three construction companies that would do it pro bono, that would do the demolition, that would do the framing, and would do the actual build out of everything. And the first 747 to ever land in Honduras was filled with missionaries and ambassadors that were sent there to change it. Friend, I'm telling you, partial obedience is never, never an option. Partial obedience is still disobedience. King Saul is told, destroy everybody. Remember this? Kill everyone, but he keeps one guy alive. He's like hand sanitizer. He kills 99.9% of who he's supposed to kill. And then nowhere he keeps this guy alive. Why is he doing this? What you may not understand in the hermeneutics of the techs is that King Saul is actually conforming to the culture of his day. The Bible says in Romans 12, verse two, do not be conformed, right? Do not be conformed to the patterns. Or let me put it in our world, the viralities, the trends. What's chic? Do not be conformed by the patterns of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you would be able to discern the perfect and pleasing will of Almighty God. He is conforming his day because when you captured a king alive, you brought them back to your throne room and you chained them to a pillar so that when visiting kings, ambassadors or emissaries came and they looked on him, they would be a living trophy. So King Saul is not worried about being trustworthy with God. He is worried about being filled in his trophy case and being a part of who's who. This is what happens when partiality starts to creep in. You start to get other wins that make sense. Other goals that seem like this is God and it was never part of his heart. Don't go quite on me, you know. I feel this right now because partial obedience is never the goal. It's never an option. Aren't you glad we don't serve a partial God? I'm glad there's people in scripture that want partial. Aren't you glad David didn't go, "Hey, I don't do giants." I do lions and bears, but I don't do giants. Aren't you glad Daniel's like, "I don't do lions." I'd lead prayer meetings, but I don't do lions. I do podcasts. I do-- sorry, it's too easy. I don't do letters. Can you imagine Jesus saying, hey, I don't do crosses?
I don't do resurrections. I don't do new covenant. We don't serve a partial God, so it's not part of our DNA. Partial obedience is still-- whenever I've challenged this in leaders, you know, I always get a couple responses. The first response is, why are you focusing on the little that I didn't do, because it's 99%, which is what Saul did? And if you read three verses later, God says, I'm grieved. I ever made Saul king, because he did 99%. That's still partial to God. Or I hear something like, why can't you just focus on all that I did? Because I wouldn't be a good leader or a good friend. Because my Bible says it's the small foxes that spoil the vine. And if I don't address this, I'm not trying to pick on you. I am not your judge, but I am. As a pastor, I'm your fruit inspector. And I'm looking for the kind of quality of fruit that I know that is inside of you. And you know that it's inside of you. And I've made a commitment to you and covenant to call greatness to the surface. And I won't allow you to live below that bar. So I can't have you be partial. Partial obedience is still disobedient. Moving quickly, number two, we need
the spirit of a finisher. Oh my goodness, I can't tell you how many times Eric and I and our team, it didn't matter what we were doing. How many times there was options to quit. Never forget when we got off a call with the vice president of Ecuador. And he was extending the national invite for us to come and make that the next nation. And we get off this call, and I don't know how to say this, Pastor Dave Pastor, but it was like we got off the call. And from the call, and from the ending of this call to about 30 seconds later, we were all on the floor in our conference room there in Orange County, California. And it was the presence of God hit us. And we're like, Lord, what is this? And he says, you're not going to Ecuador. What, just got a national invite from the vice president and the cabinet minister, like what are you talking about? No, you're not going to Ecuador, why? I want to make an aggressive move on America. He said, I'm reassigning this vision. Now at this point, this was at the end of 2018. So he said, okay, Lord, where do you want to start? He said, Los Angeles. We were like, you mean Dallas, Tulsa, Birmingham at Lance. Somewhere in the Bible Belt, church saturated, ministry friendly, not hostile to the things of God. And he's like, no, I want to start in LA because if it works in Los Angeles, it'll work anywhere. And I'm telling you, we said, okay, you know,
when Lord speaks in spirit, you never respond in logic. So you just do something to ignite the faith of, okay, Lord, you said it, we're going to do something. So we put a date on the calendar, July, T20. No, all of us are going over some PTSD. Just going to say that date one more time. July, 2020, now we're claiming this date in 2018. We have no idea, because we know March of 2020, everything went to a bucket of suck, all right? And chaos wrapped itself around the globe and nobody had strategies and everybody's favorite word was pivot, right? Remember, we were doing everything. And so we watched as this whole mindset of we can't finish, what is going on, started coming into our organization. The world's in a different place than it was when we said, yes to this, as if God didn't realize that this was going to be taking place. And we just said, okay, Lord, what are you doing? Because obviously we knew that you were going to have this hyper focus on this. What do you want us to do? And then he started to speak. First thing he said was, I want you to shut down active cases in the foster care and adoption pathways. And I want you to come alongside the city and wake up the church to do it. The next one was because schools were shut down. A majority of LA County schools were not getting, their children were not getting fed
because they rely on free breakfast and free lunch at schools. And so we started posting up at churches. We were shipping in 33 million pounds of food every weekend and distribute only on campuses of local churches 'cause we wanted that to be the community hub. I'm telling, we platformed churches all the time. We lead lead pastors all the time. And so I remember, like we did crazy. I mean, we got special permission from Governor Newsome 'cause he loved what we were doing in our evangelism or we called it social good. You and I would call it outreach. But he loved that we were going in and working with homelessness and creating solutions around that. He loved that we were going and actually remodeling whole high schools. Can you imagine churches having a missions budget that could not go overseas? And then you redirected that capital to let's take spiritual responsibility of our sphere of influence. And all of a sudden whole high schools got new paint, new rooms, new furniture, new equipment. It was like it just made the heroes of the community, the church, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was awesome. And then it came time, we knew we were gonna have a stadium moment and Pastor Dave,
you sent a team to LA as well. And this moment was wild because we were actually gonna be in the Memorial Coliseum. And I'll never forget this because they called us and said, "Hey, I'm sorry we have to cancel your contract." We're like, "Why?" And so they said we're sorry we have to cancel your contract so now we're we've been cast envisioned for a stadium moment now we have no stadium. And we're like Lord what do we do but you're doing something what do we do we went to prayer four hours later we get a call from so far stadium. Anybody ever heard of so five stadium brand new Rams chargers stadium member it was built during so far or during a covid so far was built during covid so there hadn't been a live event of this kind ever. And so they called us they said hey we love everything you're doing we love the foster care we love what you're doing food distribution we love the school play we love what you're doing we want to have our name attached to this would you like to host your event in our stadium. We were like yeah we feel good on that you know didn't take long to pray about that one and so man there's a whole story there that involved Taylor Swift and she moved her date we had to get on zoom and have her move her date because she had the date that we needed. And then the next person we talked with Kenny Chesney and they moved there which never happens in the industry but we watched as they were willing to move because there was something sacred happening. And so we got the date I'm talking two hours after we got off that call we get a call from a small music gathering you might have heard of called Coachella. They were the founders of Coachella great Jewish men and they said hey we love everything you're doing we want to be a part of this I don't know if you have a stadium moment but could we run all your audio visual lighting and streaming capacity for you for free we were like yes absolutely 100%. Like I feel God anybody else for the I feel the Holy Ghost on that one you know and so it was like they and then they asked the question like who's the lineup. And we're like you know what we're really posturing some people right now and we're gonna get back to you that's church talk for we're praying and we don't know right. So they're like well let us know in two weeks well two weeks goes by and they call us freaking out they're like look your stadium moment six weeks away and we've got to get our vendors in line we've got to get a lot of things planned. Who's your lineup and we're like look we're really positioning some great conversation and we're gonna see these names to you shortly that's code for we're praying and fasting now because we don't know right. We had no idea but we had one name listen you got to remember even today who is a real Christian or started a faith friendly journey with Jesus that's not afraid to be public about it with that's a global icon. Well that's a short list and then who does that and is not afraid to share their faith well now we're crossing names off that list. And then it's like and who's available and we're like going down the list so I remember I was running on on a colofia trail over where we used to live in Orange County and I'll never forget my phone rings and it's a group you know the group face times it's with the rest of our team. And there's one face I recognize but didn't know it was going to be on and it was Justin Bieber and I'm not lying and so he like he's sitting there and he's got tears coming down his face. He's got tears and he's saying I was praying this morning and God spoke to me and he told me that I'm supposed to partner with your vision. He said I love I've been watching the foster care I've been watching the outreaches I've been watching how the church is rallied and I need to come alongside the church. I'm not going to play games anymore I want to really come alongside the church and so he said he said this is just to be reset number one can I serve your vision. Number two if you don't have your lineup can I help you build your lineup. We were like JB any time your friends want to be our friends like we feel Gucci about that you know like and so he gets on another phone and starts calling hey chance the rapper I need you hey Jaden Smith I need you hey Tori Kelly I need you and starts picking up and calling now when he calls they answer.
And so he builds a lineup in 20 minutes that the catalytic eyes have never had until like this year and then we call them go how do you feel about JB and Tori Kelly and Chance Thrapper and their response was there's no blanking way. I was like no praise God there's a way there's a there's a way and sure enough we they started posting you do realize that when they post for different ads and stuff one post on Justin's feed is six hundred and sixty seven thousand dollars. That's with no tags no caption no hashtags nothing I mean it's a whole different economy but he's posting for us 20 something time blowing up his story I don't know how many times he posted on our story. And so now they started raising up this army and we started realizing that had we not taken the long route not the short route we would have missed what it was like to finish and we had to face every obstacle and every uncertainty. And even with when we didn't have the money somehow we didn't even need the money we needed the right relationship that gone us into so far or gone us into people's rear view or purview. I'm telling you this because we need the spirit of sure again. Any time that I have felt the pressure to quit I've always random key text in scripture. The first 31 verses, it's literally the writer of Hebrews is describing how people met matriarchs and patriarchs of faith by faith overcame their opposition and obstacles. He talks about Abraham, leaving his family, his country, his familiarity, and going, we're a voice. He doesn't have a Bible. He doesn't have a priest. And I have a prophet to tell him, a voice is telling him. And he just follows him. And that's all he hears in the middle of a desert. He hears-- you read about Joseph who believed Israel would be delivered, and he was convinced of it so much that he asked for the bones to be taken away when they were. You hear about Rahab, who was Jesus' great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandmother. And how she hid the Israelite spies. You hear about the Israelites who walked on dry ground on the Red Sea while the Egyptians rode in muddy water. Are you seeing the supernatural move of God? It's all by faith, people who had a grit to finish. But then you get to verse 32. And the writer says, what more shall I say? I don't have time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson,
J. Fath, David, Samuel, the prophets who, through faith, conquered kingdoms, administered justice, gained what was promised-- come on, how many people at life fellowship need to gain what was promised? How many outstanding prophetic words, how many prophetic declarations have been collecting dust on their life, gain what was promised, who shut the mouths of lions, quench the fear of the flames, escape the edge of the sword, whose weaknesses was turned to strength. Come on, how many need some of that in your own life? There are certain weaknesses, God, you've got to put some strength here. It's going to take more than a peptide, right? Whose weaknesses were turned to strength, and who became powerful in battle and routed forward armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. They were-- they were other-- there were others, though, who were tortured, refused to be released so they might gain an even better resurrection. Some faced years in flogging, even chains in imprisonment. They went about in sheep skins, goat skins, destituted, persecuted, mistreated, watched this verse 38, and the world was not worthy of them. And what kind of person, what manner of man or woman do you have to be for holy scripture to say, this planet, this natural world, this world was not worthy of you? You have to be a finisher. I think many times we get to-- at least I've
recognized on certain staffs, of course, nobody in this room. But you get to October, and you can smell the end of the year. Come on, you're like, OK, Thanksgiving's a month away. Then we get that sacred week of just off. [LAUGHTER] I've pastored before I ever traveled. Trust me, I get it. It's just-- but there is-- what I was really impressed by is people who finished, even though their flesh was saying, I've just got to slow down. I've dialed in this year. And they take November and December. They take it off here. They show up to the office, but they take it off here. That's not the spirit of a finisher. I'm just challenging this thought, because that's where I start to creep into more of my finishing verses, if you will, like Proverbs 6, verse 10 and 11. I call these my ninja verses, because it comes out of nowhere. The first one makes you feel so secure. It's like a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest. That's like Cam and Melty on a rainy day. That just feels good, right? Little sleep, little slumber, little closing the hands of rest, verse 11. And poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armbanded. I mean, it's like out of nowhere. It comes out of nowhere, ambushes you, right?
No, why is this important? Because there's always the temptation to leaders for comfort. And wise leaders, many times, will choose the longer path, the most uncomfortable path, because they're not worried about how they get there. They're worried in the manner in which they arrive to where they're going. And I don't want to cut corners and miss lessons and miss growth opportunities. What I want to do is have the spirit of a finisher. So God, if this chisels something on the inside of me. So when we finished that night with Justin and we had preached Jesus, we filled sofa capacity during COVID, like we filled it to capacity with the governor's permission. We turned on the live stream. Half a billion people watched that night live, not clicked on it, watched it full live. Half a billion were touched by the gospel of Jesus Christ in a moment. This is what I'm telling-- I see that in the DNA of this church, in you as leaders. I'm not flattering you. There's nothing in it for me here. I see it in you, that there is something inside it that says, I'm not quitting. I know there's been a great shaking. It just means that my calling is secure because it's not based on the gifts and skills of others who are above me or under me. It's based on the claim of God on my life. I have the spirit of a finisher and here's the last thing this morning.
Number three, we must live like Jesus lived. Jesus was a radical. This guy shows up and teaches Matthew chapter five to be attitudes, which is if you wanted to punch the Jewish community in the throat, you preach that. If you wanted to upset the religious elite and spiritual bougie of the day, you would preach that. I wouldn't say these remarks on a Sunday morning, but I'm telling you, this is exactly what you would do. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the pure in heart. They'll actually see God. He's given out this like list. He's not firing from the hip. He's like sniped in. He's got his crosshairs on certain issues of morality or certain issues that there are weightier matters of the law. He is addressing things that are hypocritical. You hypocrites, you wash the outside of the cup, but you don't know how to wash the inside of the cup. You like to catch them but not clean them type of thing. And he's just coming after them. There's something about people who actually live like Jesus. They're very disruptive. And they make the religious really uncomfortable. They make the ones who are like, well, this is the way we normally do it in kids. You ever had a volunteer tell you that? Never. You ever had someone come to you and tell you, well, this is how we do it in student ministry. I was like, well, how many students have you led to Jesus? I used to love it when people used to tell me how to lead the church. That was great. Well, how many churches have you led or split? Which ones? Here's what I'm telling you. You would never take marriage advice from someone who's been divorced like 20 times. Which means that there can only be one caliber of person that we can model because all of us have flaws. Which means that the measuring stick, although they're great, is not the divines, although they're amazing. It's definitely not the astrotis because trust me, we're messed up. Me more than her. But we're like, we've got blind spots. There's not one person in this room that is not overcoming some struggle or some issue or God's not challenging in some area. It's just where it, let's just be human for justice. It's just where we're at. It doesn't mean you're not anointed. It just means you get to walk with God closer in this area, right? But there is something about walking like Jesus. That you are aware that I'm going to do something even though I have a stubbornness or a selfishness or I have a me mentality, not a we mentality or whatever it might be.
My wife and I, we had to challenge this in our kids. You know, our kids, my kids haven't lived a super privileged life, but they've never had to wonder where the next meal's coming from. Like, we've not just been in ministry. We're also entrepreneurial. They've not had to worry about what, what shoes they're going to get or if they grew a certain size how we have. They never had to worry about any of that. So Eric and I start praying and we're like, man, we're just noticing our kids are getting a little too bougie. We're going to do something. So I walk in, Trent, I walk in October of a year. Like, right around this time, in fact, they're waiting for me to come back home and tell them something. I walked in and I said, guys, listen, mom and I've been praying and we're not going to do Christmas presents this year. We're going to cancel on the Christmas. We're going to do Christmas presents. And one of my kids was like, what? What? Oh, we broke? And I was like, well, you are. I'm not. But I know you are. I see your bank account. You broke, right? And I said, no, mom and I feel like the worst day for you is life without Wi-Fi. You know, like, we want to put some financial pressure on you. We want to create a faith stretch financially. And so instead of us buying Christmas presents, we want you to select ministries, missionaries, or pastors, and that you're going to sow a portion of a budget that we've saved all year on for Christmas, and you're going to sow that into them. And you have seven days to decide if you're going to participate. Mom and I are going to do this, and it'd be great. It's going to be real awkward if you're the only one opening up presents while we all sowed into the kingdom of God, because Jehovah God's watching. So, like, I'm not lying. There's a lot of tears in my house for seven days. Like, a lot of, like, what do you mean? That no present, Daddy. What about gift cards? Can we get one gift card? What about again? I'm like, no fool. Like, I'm trying to make this clear. We're not getting nothing. Right? And by seven days, they were all like, fine, we're going to do this. And that's what we did that Christmas. It was, honestly, it was amazing. It was like, we took the pictures of the people that we had sewn into, put them in picture frames, and the kids unwrap that and said, I sewed into this missionary, or I sewed into this person. And let me tell you, my kids don't even remember what I got them this last Christmas, but they remember that one. And so, fast forward. And I said, guys, listen, we're going to do Christmas presents this year. And they're like, oh my god, the sigh of relief. I mean, like these materialistic kids, if you have one you know exactly what I'm talking about. And so I said, but your birthday's this coming year.
I said, I just feel like there's more Jesus that needs to be imparted here. Just feel like there's another face stretch. And so instead of people buying new birthday presents, they're actually going to-- your mom and I signed you up to build a home for 25 kids in Asia. And you need to raise $38,650. And you have 10 months to do it. May God be with you. That's really how it went. Like we didn't give-- I said, I'm not calling anybody. I'm not writing to our donors. I'm not texting any friends. None of our business partners, nothing. I'm not doing nothing. You guys are going to have to-- so like, they go through a couple birthdays and realize like, birthday money's not going to get this done. And so they're freaking out. They're like, what do we do? And so they come up with an idea. They said, Dad, what if we made shirts after Erica, my wife's messages, and my messages? And then we would sell that at the churches and the conferences or the rooms that we minister in. And then we would take the profit off of those shirts. And then we would point that towards raising the capital for this home. I said, that's a brilliant idea. Guys, making a long story short, they raised $38,650 in
six months. Six months. And then we flew over there. I should have had the pictures for you, but you've seen them. We flew over there. And my kids did the building dedication. The prayer moment met the 25 children that were there. I mean, looking at where they used to live in shacks and mud huts and tin, they would cut open cans, like coat cans. And that was their wall in the middle of a jungle. And now they have a concrete building. And they have electricity. It was the first building with electricity in their village. This is the first time these kids, all of them have ever been to school. It's the first time they had three meals a day. They have loving house parents who are also missionary/pastors, because that's what we always do. And we built a whole-- I mean, it was wild and watched and saw what our kids were able to do. They were so moved, they came back on the plane and said, we got to build another one. And they just completed their second one. And that was over $56,000. And so as a part of what we do with-- love has no limits and missions.me. We have Angel House. And we've now built 423 homes in 13 years for children in India, in Nepal, in Bangladesh, in Thailand.
It's amazing. The reason why I'm telling you this is because I watched my kids accept assignments that they didn't know they were coming. Accepted a season, they didn't-- come on, does this not sound familiar? That you did not know it was coming. And yet God was still able to shake whatever need to be shaken in the heavens so that you could get loosed in the earth. And they were still able to complete the assignment. This is what I mean. When you live like Jesus, you will attract these kind of things. This is why it says in 1 John chapter 2, I'm closing here, 1 John chapter 2, verse 6, "He who says he abides in him, ought himself also to walk, just as Jesus walked." In other words, let me say it like this. If you call yourself a Christian, you should look like Jesus, period. I mean, that's possible, right? But look at what he goes on to say, two chapters later, 1 John chapter 4, verse 17, "As he is, so are we in this world." All right, follow me. "As Jesus is right now, so are you and I in this world." Let's just do a quick test. Is Jesus powerful right now, so are you and I. Is Jesus committed right now, so are you and I. Is Jesus a finisher right now, then so are you and I.
One of the greatest examples of Jesus finishing is when he's praying in the garden, his blood's mixing with sweat, he hasn't been betrayed yet. And he says this statement, "Father, if this cup can pass, yet not my will be done, your will be done." Anybody remember this? If this cup could pass, right, now a lot of people think, well, this is Jesus hitting a weak moment and he's trying to quit. No, that's not what he's doing. Jesus is in the middle of a Passover season. And if you eat from a Passover meal or a Seder meal, there are four cups that you drink from. And it's referencing the four times that Jesus references a cup. The third time Jesus references a cup is when he says, can this cup pass, and this cup represents one thing, it represents suffering. So what Jesus is saying, he's not saying is, get this cup away from me, it's too much. What he's really saying is, my blood is mixing with sweat and that metal condition is the same as dying. He feels like he's about to die in the garden with the intensity of what's coming on him. Many people believe, many theologians believe that this is where sin was coming on his life. It says that he feels like he's about to die. What he's not saying is, get this cup away. What he's really saying is, this cup isn't full yet, because I haven't been betrayed. beard. I haven't been with 39 times. I haven't been betrayed yet. I haven't been rejected by the
one closest to me. I haven't had my bones looking through my skin up at me. I haven't had any of this. And if I die in this garden, it's an unfinished assignment. That's what he's saying. This is why it says he is the author and the finisher of our faith. He is faithful to complete the things that he starts and on the cross. What did he say? It is every bit of the finisher that Jesus is. You are. Don't let culture, circumstances or seasons tell you anything different. Would you stand up with me? I feel the presence of God in here. I know I've taken my liberty of time. I hope that it's been worth it. But I want to know the spirit of a finisher on the inside of you. We can't have people who are just here to do a job. Not working at God, not working for the church. You can do that in corporate America. But you're here because you've been claimed. You've been called. You've been assigned. Regardless of where you're at on the org chart, leadership chart, responsibility chart, regardless of how leadership is exposed in your areas or how highlighted your area is or how platformed your area is. I'm just asking you, are you willing to finish and complete the assignment that God has put on your life? Because there's no one better to do it. If there was somebody better, you would have already been replaced. He would have found a way to get you removed onto something else and brought the right person in. But he's hand picked you. So it's not by default. It's by design that you're in this room. And if I could just say it like this, none of this happened on accident. I just, no one ends up in Hawaii, you know, like 50 pounds lighter, saving six figures in their bank account on accident. And if that did happen to you, I would like you to pray for me because I would like that. No, no, it's all by intentionality, commitment. It's by divine design. And I believe that in this room, there's probably this temptation in the life of every leader, what I have may not be enough. So I should start looking for other options. Or where I'm at is probably not where I need to be. And so I should probably slow down. It's October. And maybe through the rest that I give myself in November, December, I come into 2027 friend, how you finish something is how you start the next thing. So that's why you have been in this loop of trying to build and scale at scope and scale at vertical to everything you're doing. And it's just been completely busted because it's always right in these areas. You know why I speak to it so well? Because I'm the same way. You know, I don't have the weight of the responsibility that you have, but I do carry my own weight. And I can tell you that it is taxing. And it would be nice to get a random. I remember when we had the ice storms and the snow storms that would shut down the city and I was like, Oh, these were days off that I
didn't like. And of course, I was checking on our people. It's still pastoring. But there was something in me and I felt like that's just not right for me to be looking forward to making the excuse of well, we don't have to. Well, it's not my job. Well, it's it's not important enough or well, you know what, we can just let this go and we'll figure it out when it comes up again as a problem. Like that's not finishers. Finishers are intentional. They're committed. They're aggressive. They're violently aware of all things that could be scaled. And they are willing to do whatever it takes. Even if it means they've got it's going to cost them blood, sweat and tears. And your leadership never knew about it. You were just in the business. I'm going to get this done. I just wanted God to inject maybe some longevity again. More than beyond willpower, maybe a supernatural commitment that you would actually finish the assignment that's on your life. I don't care about everybody. I'm talking about your life, that there would be the spirit of finisher. If you bow your head and close your eyes, I just want to pray over you. Erica, if you want to join me for a moment, I just I recognize that there's a lot of commitment represented in this room. There's a lot of, how do I say this? There's like an unacknowledged commitment in this room. You have good leaders here. And they have been working to figure out where we need to position in place and posture everyone so they're walking in grace and so they can actually uniquely be communicated to in a way or actually be held up in a way or established in a way. And you have great, trust me, you have God. hands and recognizing some people in the storm. You're in a great team. But I can tell you that sometimes there's this willingness to even hide and not produce at the level we know we can produce. I want to say I just, I break the temptation to quit. I break the temptation to slow down. That you would finish and finish strong. That you didn't come this far to quit. And you didn't put in all the time. And you didn't stay up late. And you didn't wake up early. And you didn't start the year with the fast. And you didn't put in the time of prayer or the blood sweat and tears. So come this far so that you could quit. I just declare that there's another gear for you to drop down into. Lord, I prophetically declare it that they will find supernatural strength and momentum in every season in every day in 2026 so that they're not just barely finishing this year, but they're launching into a strong finish and an even greater start into the next year. God, we posture for more. We build ourselves on more. We ask you for more. You're God of more. Lord, where they
need more courage, put more courage in them. Where they mean more focus, put more focus in them. Lord, where they need more revelation, God, would you unlock visitation at a high level minister to them in their dreams? The car rides God in these all staffs, God in the moments in church on Sunday or even in conferences or even in conversations or as they're meeting with their team. And in the mentoring moments, God minister to them. I lose them now in strength right now. In the mighty name of Jesus, Cora Baba Rebeceite. Shout Cora. Thank you, Lord. Come on, the Lord is here. Spirit of God is shifting you into that gear, shifting you into that posture of not striving, but thriving, shifting you into a posture of not your own power, but his presence in you. Father, thank you that you're here. I'm reminded what the Lord said through Zachariah. He said, not by might nor by power, but my spirit says the Lord in that. And that word might translates like a mighty army, like a military force. It's not just by your striving harder. It's by the, it's by the connection. It's by the submission. Lord, I can't do it without you. And it's not by your power, but it's by the positioning of Lord. It's your power working through me. Father, I thank you that you're here and you're positioning us father. Father, you're shifting us God. Father, you're, you're realigning us. A divine alignment right now is being released on your people, on your eagles, on your elites, God. Father, they're humble. Father, where they've been prideful Lord, they're shifting into a greater level of humility. God, where they've been fearful, there's a spirit of power, a spirit of love and sound mind coming over them in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you even in their marriages God, even in their mind, even in their mental health father, even in their family life. God, there's a shift now. God, it's not by their striving. It's not by their might or power. It's your spirit. Thank you father says the Lord, Lord, I thank you for what you're doing. Lord, I thank you that you're here. Like I said, there's a divine alignment you've been just sitting. Some of you have been sitting at the feet but asleep. You've fallen asleep and the Lord's waking you up now, waking up in Jesus name. Father, I thank you that you're calling us father to the lines again, to the forefront, to the lines that my husband spoke earlier. God, we're calling us to battle God. Father, but not in our strength but yours. Father, I thank you for what you're doing. Lord, I thank you for your here. Lord, I thank you for open ears, open eyes. Father, I thank you that Lord light bulbs don't have to try and strive
to turn on Lord. They just simply connect to the source. So Father, I thank you for a divine connection. God, to hear your voice again, to hear your whisper in Jesus name. Lord, I start right here with the beard. I just sense that the Lord, what is your name? I can hear you. I can hear you so I can ask. No, no, right. Normally I can't hear people when we ask. But I just sense that the Lord just wanted to encourage you, Logan. I don't know your, I don't know what you do here, but the Lord sees you care. I mean, you're strong. I mean, we can all see that. But the Lord says that there's weight that you're carrying and he's proud of you. There's a weight you've shielded some people from really being discouraged and being really, you've just shielded a lot of people and the Lord's saying, Logan, it's like he's releasing you like you don't have to shield of being shielded, like a father that protects you, that you've never had the protection before, that the Lord's coming over you in revelation of a protector, and you're a father naturally, there's a father instinct in you, and so the Lord's just going to give you this divine revelation of a protector, of a healer, almost like, like he's taking your wings, I see him taking your wings Logan, and he's healing, he's like, mending them and healing them and strengthening them, because it's time for you to rise higher and stronger, but it's going to come backwards, right? It's coming in the healing, in the healing of a father, he's protecting you, and you're going to begin to protect others with your wings and vehicles, right? Like the Lord's giving you these wings to protect others at greater capacity, so father do it, and Logan, father release a divine release healing on his heart, his marriage, his family, Lord, a protection that he's never felt before, God, where he feels like you have forgotten him, I break the lie that he has, he is seen, like we're stopping this moment just to remember that Logan is seen, and Logan is significant in the house, and father, I thank you that he's a son, so thank you for the revelation of a son coming to him in Jesus' name, and I think that he's going to release sons, this next hour, this next season, you're going to begin to release sons at a greater level and a greater capacity, father, I thank you, sons that rise in purity, valor, mobility, father, I thank you, that noble runs will come from his ministry in Jesus' name. Logan, didn't God give you a vision for prison ministry? Yeah, I didn't tell her anything, by the way, so like what a powerful word. Is it pastor Trent, I know he is Trent, is it pastor Trent? I just, part of my ilk is to get the title right, so brother Trent, bishop, Jedi master,
I'll do it all, head Levite, so far player, like I got them all, right, I have a business card with that on it, someone gave it to me, it was, they're weird, they're probably still single, anyway, so I just really felt this, I felt, I've gotten this word a lot for a lot of people, but you were highlighted to me when we met in the office, I came by to say hi to, to pastor Dave, and when I shook your hand, I just immediately felt like there were some, I felt like there were dusty seeds in you, and I had just recently read a study about how tombs of pharaohs and emperors in Japan and Egypt, when they were buried, they were buried with seeds, because in their belief system they could take the seeds in the afterlife and have something on the way out, of course we know that that's not accurate, but when they would unseal these tombs, what would happen is they would go and they would find these seeds on the ground, these are ancient seeds, and when they wouldn't seal them, they would take those seeds and put it in modern day soil, and you know what happened, it was still able to produce exactly what God wanted to produce, and I felt like, I don't know if you had like a praying mom or grandmother or something, but there's been revivalists in your family, and your wife for sure, yep, and I feel like there's just been like these seeds that have been prophesied that were given to, to the generation that was in Azuzah Street, and they knew that, I don't know your wife's name was Carly, that Trenton Carly would carry these seeds, and I felt like you were waiting for the right conditions, and you took a big face step, because I know that part of your story, so I want to be integrous about that, but when I shook your hand, I felt like the wind of God started to catch you up, and I felt like the, I just felt like I looked at the seeds in my spirit, and it was like, and all the dust blew off of it, and I declare right now you didn't miss your timing, I didn't declare you to miss your window, I declared that the dusty seeds are now beginning to find their place into the right soil for my friend Trent, and we call quick harvest, you said that the harvest would overtake the reaper, that you would cause the years, the locusts of eating, to be restored, returned, and so I declare in the, in the areas that he felt like perhaps there was, I collected too much dust, and I didn't have the seed in the right soil, I declared God you're going to bring moments back around, opportunities back around, vision and strategy back around, and I establish him now, I declare the wind of God to blow, I just want to say this over Trent and Carly, that God has given you access to 90 days of visitation, and you're going to have 90 days of dreams, and strategies, and answers, direction, courage, prophetic, like alignment, 90 days of visitation, you're going to, you're going to
get a new journal, you're going to write down plans, you're going to write down the things that he says, I think a lot of what he's going to tell you is for your lifetime, but then it's also for your lifelines, it's for your two children, it's for the sons and daughters that you're raising up here, you're going to establish things on the inside, so I call these seeds in the right soil, I declare that And we ask for harvest to come, that it would be breakthrough in his lifetime, and in many others down his bloodline, in the mighty name of Jesus. Come on, can we thank God for that? (audience applauding) - What is your name, beautiful man? Tamara, Tabitha? Sorry, Tamitha, beautiful. Thank you, I saw you raise your hand, you went to Christ with the nations, is that right? Oh, well, you're just a world changer in yourself, okay. You just bird that way, okay. Well, I just felt like the Lord wanted to encourage you. I feel like all of us can really relate to this word, so this is kind of general. But sometimes I think the Lord wants to hide it like us, just so we know, like he sees me, you know? But there's just like, I saw this shaking under your feet, like a lot of shaking, and like all of us, like life will do that to us, like all of us, I mean, I feel like I've been through that, right? But this last year, just a shaking, and almost like this instability, like God, like, are you still there? No, you have held on to him.
I see you like, you stay like a Mary. You're like a Martha, but you stay, you like clean, you like throw yourself on the ground to be a Mary, to be settled at his feet. And I just hear the Lord saying, I'm settling, there's just this settling he's bringing you, 'cause you've had a heart of a Mary, but he's settling your heart. And there's just this, I just see this like wind of settling. So just raise your hand. I just believe the Lord's gonna refresh you. Father, I thank you. Father, that your daughter has been so faithful. Lord, in all the shaking, Lord, she's wanted to walk away, but she has said, no, I cleaned him the Lord. Who do I have, but God? And Father, I thank you that you see her. And I thank you this next season, Lord, you're strengthening. You're bringing a strength, because through pain, God, you create promises, God. In the shaking, Lord, you create Lord new strategies and new wisdom. Father, I thank you for a fresh revelation. Father, I just keep seeing like fresh kindness off of your lips, fresh authority off your lips, fresh rivers of living water pouring forth from you. And the Lord just wants to refresh you today. He wants to say, I have not left you. You're not alone, you're not alone, you're not alone. It's like you could write a song, I am not alone.
For my God is with me, for God, my God sees me, my God adores me. That is almost your anthem that he adores you. He adores you. Father, pour it out on her in a fresh way. Show your adoration to her. Father, your thoughts about her are more than all of the sand and all of the seas. Father, in all of the deserts, Lord, that's one thought, God, Lord, I thank you for a new thought today. New thoughts on her in Jesus' name. And I thank you that, Lord, Father, I thank you just that she'll even begin to just articulate in a new way, write in a new way that'll create curriculums, that'll create understanding that'll unlock the heart of God. Use her God in Jesus' name everywhere she goes. Thank you, Lord. - Hey, what's your name? Yes, ma'am? Grayson, are you related to anyone in this row? Is this, who's this? Stepmom, who's your dad? Oh, Pastor John, good to meet you. There's something on your life. But I was asking if you're related, 'cause I feel like it's coming on the family. I was gonna say, it's gonna come on your family. So I'm glad that mom and dad are represented. I don't know if you have a special someone in your life. I'm not trying to meddle, either.
(congregation laughing) But honestly, I'm glad you said no. God says, wait, another six months. And I'm telling, I don't ask her. I don't normally do this. Like my daughter's in this space where I can say this is not being recorded. Like, it's not being recorded. Okay, maybe. She'll never hear it. But my daughter's got this guy that's interested in her and it's, I hate it. I believe we need more overprotective dads. Anyone else? Like, I'm sorry, I don't make any excuses about that. Come on, my guys, we're all squatting 300, right? Like this is, like, I'm sorry. I'm an overprotective dad, 'cause I'm involved, right? So like everybody, everybody's in love with this guy. My family was cooking a bunch a lot of history while I'm out of town. And I'm like, we'll see if I like them, we'll see. I mean, this is, it's not exciting to me at all. I'd rather clap with poo in my hands. That sounds more exciting than, anyway, so. But these are random thoughts. This is what happens when I sleep for three hours and get on a plane, that's what happens. I just, I wanted to get this right because Graceland, Graceland, oh, I'm sorry, Graceland.
Okay, Graceland, mom, dad, okay. I wanna say this, I'm saying this over you, but I'm saying it over your family. All right. God is opening a third well for you. I think you've been asking God for like three keys. I don't like three moments or three, like, Like, I don't know what this is, all right? He didn't give me that. But I felt like it's Genesis 26, where Isaac goes in the middle of the desert and God tells him, "Stop, dig a hole." And he finds a water well. Anybody else remember reading this? And the local shepherds are like, "No, no, no, we, we graze here. "This is our well." And so he named that well argument. And so he's like, "You all right, fine, you can have it. "I found you a well." So then he goes in the middle of the desert and digs randomly when a boy tells him, "Dig here." And he digs another hole, finds another water well in the desert. No advanced tech, no tools, nothing, finds another well. Well, the local shepherds again are like, "No, this is our well, we, we graze here." And so he named that one hostility. Then he goes a third time. And I wanna say this, if you will try a third time, Grayson.
He goes a third time and he digs a water well and there's no activity, no one's coming to claim it. It's so far out in the middle of nowhere, nobody would have thought water would have been there. And that well, he says, it's called open space. And I'm telling you that God is causing some consistency to rising you as a young woman, as a, as a, as a, like I would say, like you're gonna be an incredible reference point for a lot of people because you're gonna be intentional. And I'm talking about intensely intentional and you might not get it the first time. And there might be argument and hostility the second time, but I'm telling you the third time, if you will go for it a third time in those three things you're asking for, I promise you, it's like it's gonna be open heaven, like a brand new space, it's gonna be open space. So Father, I declare over Grayson, over Mom, over Dad, right now open space, over, open space, over Pastor John. There are no lids to you, sir. There are no limits to you. And if you've been hugging the ceiling, you're going to break through that ceiling and you're gonna see God deliver you into a position where you have room to run, room to grow. I establish it now in Jesus name. I declare over Mom, right now open spaces, open heavens, the faithfulness of God. I declare over Grayson that she would be the front runner
in her family, just showcasing what it's like to be so in pursuit and to be tenacious in the things of God, I loose it on her now. I loose the wisdom of God, I loose the timing of God, that you would have a sons of Issacar type edge to you to know the times and the seasons. And you would know when the enemy is trying to come and trying to pervert or twist the times in the season, you will never fall behind Grayson and you will never get too far ahead. You will stay in the pocket of God's grace and you will walk in your destiny. I declare these two or three things you've been asking for are coming into open space, continue to knock, bang the arrows on the ground, continue to move forward. I declare supernatural momentum in the mighty name of Jesus. We seal it now in Jesus name. - Thank you, Lord, thank you Jesus. Let's go. - Come on, I remember two more. Oh, okay, oh, I could go all day, but yeah, only a few more. What is your name, the worship leader, Leslie? Okay, beautiful name, beautiful here. - Yeah, I just, I feel like this is, again, this is, I feel like it's for everybody and I just feel like the Lord's like, Leslie, this is for you, like throw in a Hail Mary just to you.
But, you know, again, we can all say we've gone through hard things in our life. Life is just, you know, but there's been deserts and I've seen like desert areas and what's beautiful about your worship is that like your flow and like grass, like grows, like everywhere, you know, I just kept seeing like thriving, just lush, garden to be in time. And the Lord's just taking this, this places in your life that are, that feel like desert. It's like he's translating it over because sometimes we feel like we're good in this area and struggling in this area and we're all like at work. You know that. But I just feel like the Lord's transferring over those areas where you're thriving and when you worship because you put God first and when we lift up right, the Lord, like he's gonna draw all men into himself. I just believe that the Lord's gonna unlock like thriving, unlock even like harvest, harvest in souls. Like where you're thriving, people are watching your life where people would be like suicidal or depressed. Like you have this place with God. And so I just released this freedom over you. So just raise your hands. I just believe the Lord's gonna meet you. Lord, restore what's been weary in her soul. God, where she's been dry. Lord, where she's been hurting, where she's,
Lord, where she's been crying in tears, And I just see Father God. There's a harvest of souls that have been watching her 'cause you haven't given up and you have the spirit of a finisher because you almost walked away so many times and the Lord has kept you here. It's been the Lord who's been keeping your feet planted. So Father, I thank you for fresh roots God in Jesus' name. The ones that have been ruined and rotten, I call them fresh in Jesus' name. I call them whole in Jesus' name. And Father, I thank you that there's fruit coming. There's fresh fruit coming 'cause you have planted your house in the Lord's house. Where those who are planted in the Lord's house, will Father thrive, Father will be revived. Father God, they will flourish. And I thank you Lord that she's flourishing God in the areas Father that nobody sees. And I thank you Jesus, Lord. I just see people like coming to Jesus and coming to salvation even in your family. This year's a big year of salvation. You better be preaching the gospels during Christmas time because there's gonna be harvest. They might be mad at you like I was mad at my aunt for six months after she preached the gospel to me real hard at Christmas but there's salvation in your family coming. There's transformation coming.
Father, I thank you for the transformative life, season of transformation in her family. Do it Lord abundantly and beyond what we could think or imagine in Jesus' name. Thank you Jesus. Oh my goodness. Okay, I wanna like, I never wanna like leave anybody out. So it's hard for me because like, you know, people are like, why didn't you do me? But I just, I feel this in the room kind of as I was praying for you like we've all, we've had seasons of our life that are dry but when the Lord comes in, like I just believe that he's raining on us. Like, you know, it's like, oh, the rain's coming. We hear that. But I remember being in services like these with our staff when we were on staff at churches and I still find life from the words and the visions that God gives me in these moments. 'Cause we can be real vulnerable here, right? On Sunday morning, we're ministering to everybody. So just take all you can. But just raise your hands. I wanna pray for everybody. Father, I thank you Father. Where have we been weary? Father, the season of drought right now in the name of Jesus is being broken. Lord, I speak supernatural Lord alignment and over into the next season Father.
Where have we been so weary? Lord, the deserts are turning into rivers of living water. Father, I thank you Jesus for a coke, a courage. Even people that have been struggling in their mind. Sometimes they're like, nobody would miss me if I weren't here on this earth. I break the lie of the enemy in Jesus name and I call you into full strength. I call you into full assurance in Jesus name that the Lord needs you. The Lord needs you. Sir, right here, the Lord needs you. He needs you in this hour. What is your name? No, you turn around. Yep. Jeremy, he needs you in this hour. He needs you locked in. He's calling you to be locked in. His eyes are locked in on you. His eyes are locked in on you because he needs you. He needs you to stretch your hands out. Is this your friend wife? Okay, what is your name? Natalia? Nat you. Okay, Jeremy and Nat you. Natchee, my bad, okay. Just strength and life into your whole hands. Y'all need a whole hands.
Good thing you're married. Father, I thank you for life on this marriage, God. Lord, I thank you that your strengthening Lord, the weirdness. Lord, you're breaking every demonic attack on their heart, mind, even finances in Jesus name. Even like, I'm not enough. I don't have enough experience. The Lord is breaking and binding. The limitations in Jesus name. He is breaking and binding hesitation in Jesus name. Father, I thank you for a spirit of boldness to come over them. Father, I thank you for what you're doing. Lord, I thank you that for fresh vision, fresh eyes to see in Jesus name. Father, I thank you. I just keep seeing multiplication in your home. Multiplication. I don't know if you have kids, but finances, kids, fruitfulness is coming in Jesus name. Even in your marriage, relationally, spiritually, intimately. Lord, multiplication, where the enemy has tried to steal, kill and destroy, it is broken. Father, I thank you for life abundant over them. In Jesus name. I didn't see, I didn't want to highlight one person 'cause I wanted y'all to receive,
but Father, do it in all of them. Father, I thank you. Just drink. You guys drink. Wells are open. Wells are open. That's the word I keep hearing. Wells are open. This lady knows, if you don't know, I mean, ask Miss Tamitha. Tamitha, did I say right? But wells are open. And this one's a drinker here too. Intercessor, you're her mom, right? Grace's mom, intercessor. That's why the wells are welling. on your life. Use, Father, the wells are welling overflow. You're a woman of overflow of great overflow. Oh, if you'll God, you're a woman of overflow. You're not like, I think sometimes the enemy just lies to us. Like, oh, see, this isn't working or this is, no, you're a woman of overflow. And what you're sowing, you're going to see a harvest, a reap, you're going to reap this year. So I declare everybody that's been sowing, you're going to see a harvest, reap this year in Jesus' name. Thank you, Father. Let's go. Hey, what's your name?
Best boots in the room. Yeah, my name is Robert. For tax purposes, my name is Robert. My first name is Robert. My middle name is Christian. I go by Chris. It's a long story. I'm not wanted, but it's a long story. Robert, I wanted to just declare this over your life it's something that means something to me, and I'm sure it'll mean something to you. The Lord is telling me to communicate to you as a prophetic declaration. Count the stars. Count them again. You know, when Abraham was carrying the promise of, one day I'll be a father, I'll have an heir, I'll be a mighty nation. About halfway through that journey, all of a sudden, he's like, well, where's my heir? The only heir I have is the one that's not even my blood relative. Where's my son? And God hears his complaining, and I'm going to give you the Christian strata version, but he's like, God, where's my son? God's like, boy, go outside. Count the stars. And he starts counting, you know, one, seven, 11, like he loses count.
And he goes, there's no way. And then God responds, so will your descendants be. They'll be in numeral, like the grains of sand on the earth. And I want to tell you, God's saying, by faith, count the stars again, because that's how great he's going to be to you. And I'm telling you, you're coming into it. I just want to say this right now. You're not coming into a season of drought, and you're not coming into a season of dryness. You probably felt, man, I feel a little dry. I'm telling you right now, fire burns better in dry places. And it says, right, Luke chapter three, verse 16, he came to baptize in the Holy Spirit and fire. And the baptism of fire is not hype. It's not emotionalism. It's something we are not. It is a holy thing. It is to have a passionate desire for him and him alone. That's why he's saying, count the stars. Am I not the God that brought you this far? Am I not the one who gave you that standard or gave you that high call? Am I not the one who pulled you out of what you were in and set you into what you're in now? Am I not? God is reminding you, just count the stars again. Go back and count how many answered prayers he's given. Go back and count how many answered prophetic words that have come to pass.
Go back and see how many miracles. Go back and remind yourself how many times he spoke clearly to you on a decision or a matter. And it turned out to be the only way you got there was that answer. Count your stars because you're coming into a season out of drought or dryness. You're coming into a season of harvest. And there's gonna be breakthrough. And I see it financially. I see it financially. I also see it more importantly, I think spiritually. Like there's just gonna be something exploding. I don't even know what you do here, but it doesn't matter. The truth is there is such the way your mind works, the systematics of it, the strength and the patterns and the assemblies of it. I'm telling you right now, harvest time for Robert. So Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you. The field is ready. The soil is ready. The seed has been put in. Lord, I declare that it's time for rain to come. It's time for growth to happen. It's time for harvest now in the mighty name of Jesus. I lose every bit of mindset. I just break mindsets right now. Poverty, mentalities of, well, I just gotta go through another hardship to get there. I gotta go through another tough time to get there.
I just declare that you're gonna rely on the goodness of God and that Robert will see the goodness of God in the land of the living in his day, in this hour, in Jesus' name, in Jesus' name. What's your name? What is your name? Sorry again? Have we met before? I feel like we have. I don't know where. I gave you a ride. Where was that at? What camp? Oh, North Texas? Oh, that's right. I saw you while I was like, bro, what are you doing? Walk in, it's too far. I think you jumped in my truck, right? Yeah, I was like, nobody needs to walk in this heat. That's demonic heat. Listen, I just feel, Matt, I saw, I see you fishing. I don't know if you like to fish, but do you? No, okay, I didn't know, but I saw you fishing and I saw you fishing with like a little kid pole. Like I remember I had a pole and it was a Spider-Man pole and I would cast the Spider-Man. And of course, you're only gonna pull like three pound carp or something. It's not even big. And you know, there's a certain capacity
that God brings us to where that's what we're pulling and fish with. But I saw God replace that little kid pole with just this professional rod when I just took my sons and we went, and I went to an efficient. And of course, you're like, you know, to get one of those in the boat, it takes you, But I was amazed that the rod never broke, it never bent in the wrong way. It was willing to put up with the resistance, the strength of that fish. It was, I think it was like 185 pound bluefin tuna. I mean, I was, yeah, I'm a thug. I'm telling you, I'm gangster on the water. So like, I'm like pulling in this and I felt like the same is true with your breakthroughs now. You see small breakthrough, small breakthrough, small breakthrough. I think God is elevating breakthrough in your life, Matt. It's like he's, you're now being upgraded is the best way to say it. That's what I feel my spirit. You're now being leveled up to a point where you're now going to have the ability to pull in mass amounts of fish or high caliber fish. Or I don't know even what your role is here, but I do know that everyone of us as Christians is called to be a soul winner. I feel like there's an evangelistic piece coming on you that's going to come alive on the inside of you. And you're going to begin to take ground and souls. You're going to win souls. So that, that is the objective. Let God upgrade all of the mindset, the attitude, all the positioning. Let them call you into things that you weren't ready for. You're not trained for. You didn't go to school for it. Let them do that because it's time to upgrade. So father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for all the upgrades that are happening in Matt's life. I lose the goodness of God on him.
I just declare that he would put away the tendency to want to put out, pull out the roles, the reels that he's used to, the small roles that he's used to, no more small dreams. You are not allowed to dream small anymore, Matt. I declare the big dreams of God, the heavenly dreams of God, the dreams that infect nations with the goodness of God. And I lose your favor on Matt. May he come into this in the perfect timing at the perfect pacing in the mighty name of Jesus. Would you just lift your hands across this room? I want to be good to your time. I hijacked your morning. I realized that and you probably were like, man, I didn't know this was going to hopefully it was beneficial to you, but we, we didn't take this lightly. Trust me, not only would I do anything for Pastor David, Pastor Cindy and I've proven that multiple times, but I would, I really felt like we were sent here and it's really rare that we actually get to be in the same room. Because Norman, she's going somewhere and I'm going somewhere. So it was like, wow, I just really felt like God had something special and just know that you have friends that live in Melissa that are praying for you. We exit the buggies just know we live right around there. All right. So everybody calls us when they're by our buggies. So I just, I just really felt like this word and this time of prophetic ministry was super sacred. I can't tell you how sacred this would be. And so Lord, I thank you for what you've done. You've challenged us, all of us. I wasn't just preaching to the leaders. I was preaching to myself. You have to finish. You can't get comfortable. So I break the dryness. I come against fruitless cycles. I come against small, limited thinking and planning and I establish a fresh hunger for the impossible for the things they've never done to go to the places they've never been to establish the things that they've never been. You know, established, we call them further higher, bigger, more into more that they would complete the assignment of God that's on their life. I declare them finishers in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen.
God bless you guys. Wow. Now you know why we had them back every year. Isaiah 55. This is what we just witnessed. So shall my word be that go forth out of my mouth. It shall not return under me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it will prosper in the thing where to I sent it. He has sent his word to us today. I hope you feel what I feel. I feel God's presence here in a very powerful way. Pastor Chris and Erica, thank you. Thank you for your heart. Thank you for coming and delivering your heart to us today. God's heart to us. All right. So yeah, he absolutely hijacked our morning and I loved every minute of it. Hey, we're going to take a little comfort break because I'm sure some of you are ready for that, but we're going to come right back in. We're going to do our shout outs. We got a little bit of communication. We're going to move through that. But please don't leave a shed. Go go to the boys room girls room and run right back in here. Okay. All right. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. ♪ This is my story I testify ♪
