Lay it all down Lay it all down Lay it all down Lay it all down Lay it all down Lay it all down There's no way it's got to be this way Lay it all down There's no way it's got to be this way Lay it all down There's no way it's got to be this way There's no way it's got to be this way No way it's got to be this way No way it's got to be this way God we come before you and we declare God that every tear we have ever let fall from our eyes your word says that it is stored in a bottle and I want to say that Lord God every tear that we have shed have watered seeds in the ground of our faith and we gather today believing that you are a good God a mighty God a holy God and we lay our burdens down knowing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond all that we could ask think hope or imagine to you be the glory in Jesus name amen amen welcome to Revere online family we are so glad that you're with us if you're here in the room you can go ahead and grab a seat welcome my name is Bianca I'm one of the pastors here if you are new or you're visiting we're so excited that you're here you chose a wonderful Sunday to be here like Pastor Cesar had mentioned uh this is a different Sunday if you want a regular church service you want to experience regular church service come come next weekend we'd love to have you today's a little bit different because we're actually wrapping up a series entitled perfect peace and we rooted this entire series this mental health series we rooted in scripture and our anchor passage was a prophetic word from the book of Isaiah and Isaiah said you keep him you keep mankind in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you and so for the last five weeks we've taken a look at the myths that we've believed as Christians and wrestling with mental health we've taken a look at anxiety and and depression feelings of overwhelm and today as I was preparing for this series I realized I love that we rooted in scripture I love that we had a therapist and we had pastors and we opened up God's word but as a shepherd I would be remiss not to create space not just to talk about mental health but to believe God for mental health see because there's people in our society right now that we're they're wrestling with depression and anxiety and I as a shepherd as someone who believes in Jesus that we are a community that will take God at his word we have to create space for the spirit of God to move in our midst and so that's what this Sunday is about and not just that we're going to create space for those that need healing of all kind if you need a

physical healing psychological healing spiritually and financial healing our prayer team in a moment will be able to pray over you but before we dive into that I know that there's different types of people in the room and so what I want to do is I want to set our posture on why we believe in what we believe Isaiah 53 5 says that that it is his by his stripes that we are healed why did Isaiah say that say that well it's because our healing is predicated upon the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ so it's not because we're good or we're righteous or we fasted this week which I did fast and I don't like fasting but I wanted God to move so I'll sacrifice food I want to see you move in the lives of your people, but it's not because of that. It's because of Jesus Now I understand that maybe whether you are a believer or not a believer you might feel a way and hearing that God can heal We believe in Ephesians 3 10 now to Ephesians 3 20 now to him who is able To do immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine According to his power that is at work within us to him be the glory for a generation to generation. So we believe that but I know there's people in the room where You've prayed for something to happen. You prayed for a loved one. You prayed for healing You prayed for breakthrough and you feel like God didn't answer you but specifically God answered but just not the way that you wanted and It's left you questioning his ability. It's left you pushing back from God I don't know if you can I don't know if you're loving. I don't know if you're kind I don't know if you're good. I don't know if you'll do it. I Stand before you today saying I hope and believe that God heals everyone that has a need. I don't know if he will We're gonna pray for it. We're gonna ask for it But I'm submitting every single one of you into the hands of God Because his will and his plans far supersede mine I do know that he will work things out for good and he will use every problem every person every pit To do a work in our lives in the lives of those who who need to encounter Christ But today I want to create space for maybe your skepticism your doubt your frustration your anger your disappointment Your emotions and feelings are welcomed here, but I want us to reorient on the goodness of God See because I know that some people came in expecting a healing But my fear is that we make it about the healing and we forsake the healer That we want the miracle, but we don't want the miracle maker

And so what I firmly believe is that some people came in here wanting a physical healing, but the greatest feeling that you will encounter It's the healing of your heart and so Before we start opening up the altar and people can come forward to receive prayer. I'm gonna invite you to do business with the Lord Maybe you're not a Christian. You want to know how amazing God is. He loves you so much I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna say this in great boldness that he can heal you even if you don't believe in him That's a good God. That's a good God So whether you believe or not I Want a moment of silence? Well, we can just ask ourselves in this moment. What do I need? and Who is God? You Thank you God For your love for your grace for your mercy for your kindness We know what your word says that you are able We know that you walked into cities and you performed miraculous things because of their great faith And so for those in this room that do not need a healing today I pray that they are sent on assignment with faith That they stand in a posture of victory declaring that you are a God who is able and that they will war for those Who need a breakthrough those who need a healing? God I have seen you move and I believe that you will do it again For the miracles that we already saw take place in first service It gets me gassed up and excited for what you're gonna do in this service. I pray Jesus That our hearts are open. Our faith is big that we could see you God whether our healing happens on earth or healing happens in heaven. We lay it at the altar Our disappointments are at the altar. Our dreams are at the altar Our marriage is barely hanging on is on the altar. Our illnesses are at the altar Lord God What we want is you Jesus What we want is you have your way in this space to you be the glory in Jesus name

Amen We're gonna continue on in praying But I want to cast the little vision I think sometimes There might be some doubt or fear or skepticism in the room Because maybe you've prayed and God still hasn't answered your prayer or he didn't answer in the way that you thought Paul the Apostle was a man who wrote so much of our theology on the ability of God on the goodness of God on the all-powerful sovereignty of God and yet he still had an issue he referred to it as a thorn in his flesh and he asked people to pray for him in fact in all the years of him doing ministry he had a trusted travel companion and it was his his homeboy Luke but Luke was a doctor think about all the the turmoil that Paul went through the pain that he was in the the he got beat he got scourged he was shipwrecked and yet this is the man who would touch other people and they would be healed while he was sick when I think about the goodness of God I know I know that the sons and daughters of God will experience healing in heaven but my cry and my desire is that we would see healing here on earth on earth as it is in heaven and so we don't love God and serve God because he healed us for many of us we serve in spite of having needs that we still have I'm gonna invite Tiffany up I'm gonna invite Jane up and Merlin since you're serving oh actually come on up yep you're serving the prayer team come on up these three women are all battling cancer at various stages and one of the things that is come on over here I don't bite come here we're friends we're friends all the way over here all the way over here all the way over here all the way over here it's gonna take it's gonna take Tiff a second but um when we think about healing I think sometimes it's easy to make it generic like oh lord I pray that you heal them but I want you to see their faces and I want you to know their names because Jane is part of our kids ministry and she serves with cancer and Tiff is stage four cancer and she serves on the prayer team and Merlin is serving today with cancer they don't serve in spite of or because of it's in spite of I know the lord is going to heal them I know the lord's going to heal them in heaven but I need your faith because we're going to stand with those specifically facing cancer in a second we're going to open up the altars for everyone who needs a physical healing but I got a little selfish because these are friends of the ministry who have prayed over you and many of you have experienced healing and breakthrough and now we

get to pray over you so if you feel comfortable you do me a favor will you just extend a hand of faith what are you doing I'm just I'm staying my my faith is with you we're gonna pray god I pray for these cancer survivors god every day that they're alive is a miracle every day that they're alive is a gift from you I want our community to know their names I want our community to know their faces cancer is not the victor you are the victor god and so I pray in the mighty name of Jesus for healing I know what doctors say I know what chemo says I know what radiation does I know all of that but they're nothing against my god and so god I pray for a supernatural healing for those on this stage and in this room that are battling cancer that you touch them in a supernatural way god go before their doctors go before the chemotherapy go before their medicine but god open up heaven and heal them Jesus we stand with them in Jesus name amen and amen thank you thank you guys so much praying and believing for you thank you so in a second if you need any sort of physical healing psychological healing the altars are open we're going to continue to worship and pray specifically here at this bible believing church we believe in spiritual gifts and one of the spiritual gifts is that word of knowledge the word of knowledge is when the lord shows something to someone about someone else in the last service the lord dropped in my heart that there was somebody that had a bone disease and of a room of this size there was I said who is wrestling with bone disease and one woman boldly put up her hand she was crying I had never seen her in my life but a room of this size the lord saw her and I did not say I I felt like the lord was calling me to pray for somebody with a kidney failure and I chickened out and I didn't do it and I went over to the side and then I saw a young man Robert who's been part of this community since day one who's going through kidney failure I pulled him up here and we got to pray for him as a community so I am not gonna I'm not gonna back down I'm not gonna be afraid I don't really care what you think if you think I'm crazy I am crazy I'm crazy for Jesus and so if you're here today and you have a blood disease If you have a blood disease, I think it's sickle cell, but I'm just gonna, I'm gonna boldly declare that we're gonna pray over you. The Lord is gonna be the one to do anything, but we're gonna be the one that are gonna pray over you. If you're here with heart failure, if you're here with heart failure, I believe that we are gonna pray for you, and God's gonna get the glory.

Every day that you're alive is a miracle, and we celebrate that, but we can be selfish in this holiday season. Yes, we can, and our selfishness can be that and believing for miracle healings. If you're in here in this room and you're losing your hearing, I want you to come forward. I want our prayer team to pray over you and anoint you with oil, but if you have any need at all, in a second, I'm gonna ask you to move from your seat and come down, but because we are a digital community as well, there are those watching around the world that are online, and we're gonna pray for them as well. I know that there might not be a prayer team with anointing oil, but you go to the kitchen and you get some olive oil, Crisco, I don't really care. You anoint yourself, I'm gonna pray over you right now. We, as Revere Church in Orange County, California, whether you're in Botswana, when you're in Bogota, whether you're in Bolivia, I don't care where you are at. There's a community of people that are standing with you, and we're gonna pray for whatever need that you have. There's a prayer team in the chat box, but right now, we as a community, an in-person community, are gonna pray for our online family. Spirit of the living God, we pray for every single person that is listening from around the world, and pray that you touch them. You know their need, God. And I pray that you touch their body in such a supernatural way that they cannot help but shout out, Jesus was the one that healed me. Let their life be a testament and a light, a lighthouse to draw people to the sure and solid rock that is you. Our sure, solid foundation, we honor you, we praise you, we give you the glory in advance of the work that you're gonna do. For those in the room who need healing, God, open up heaven, rain down your presence, and do a healing that only you can do, in Jesus' name. From any part of the time, come forward if you need healing of any sort, otherwise, have your faith, join our faith, for those to experience breakthrough and healing, in Jesus' name.
