1: Three Crucial Relationships
This week Jim starts a new series called In Your Corner. Throughout this series Jim will be looking at how leadership effects all our lives. Jim explains that the way the Bible describes leadership is discipleship which means learning how to live life with Jesus from someone who lives life with Jesus. This week Jim had three ways of showing if someone was a 'Good Leader' or not: 1. Good Leaders never stop learning. 2. Good Leaders go first. 3. Good Leaders do not lead from or lead in isolation. During the rest of his talk Jim explains three crucial relationships needed to be a Good Leader. 1. Mentor (The person who has mastered the skills and is ready to pass it down.) 2. Mentee (The person who is ready to learn a new skill from the mentor.) 3. Cohort (A group of people who share the same experiences to mentor one another.)
