Our Vision at Church of the City New York is to echo the prophet Habakkuk and “see the fame and deeds of God renewed and known in our time." We want to take the God of the Bible at His Word and close the gap between what we experience and all that He promises. We believe this will happen by being transformed into a community of Compelling Missional Disciples marked by the pursuit of God's tangible presence, being counter-formed out of the ways of the world and into the ways of Jesus, and joining the Holy Spirit on sacrificial mission.
